Disappointing experience with total sports shop
As someone who loves football and values quality sports gear, my recent experience with Total Sports Shop was extremely disappointing. I ordered a football kit for my son, hoping to surprise him, but what arrived was far from satisfactory. The quality of the kit was subpar, with the lettering peeling off after just one wash. Despite my efforts to seek a refund, the customer service was unresponsive and unhelpful. It's disheartening to see a sports shop compromise on quality and customer satisfaction. I would strongly advise potential customers to steer clear of Total Sports Shop to avoid similar letdowns.
Fantastic helpful company and good quality product
After reading bad reviews after ordering my kit I did panic but after sending a few emails for peace of mind the company were very helpful and my item arrived just in time for my son's birthday. The kit was good quality for the price I would use them again just order earlier so guaranteed for the time you require

I ordered a children's football kit along with a hoodie as the prices were too good to be true. I started to worry after reading some online reviews but thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt and wait.
My ordered arrived within the time Billy stated and I am delighted. Excellent quality and the printing on the football kit is perfect.
I would have no issue recommending TotalSports.

Having read some of the reviews on this site I was worried that I would not receive my order. I sent TotalSports an email to put my mind at rest and received a prompt response saying my order would be with me within 10 days. In fact it was delivered within 8 and that was with printing.
I cannot fault their service or communication. The kits are very good quality.
I will be back next season to buy more!
FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE
I must admit I was sceptical too due to the reviews but in my experience I have had nothing but prompt and caring customer service. The kits with the printing do take longer to come then ordering from the football club shop but look at the price you are paying. The kits wash really well. Clare was professional throughout. The messi kit received today before 1pm as she said. I have had a good experience and would use again without hesitation.

I ordered two kits, one Real Madrid and the second a Arsenal away kit. After the placing my order I received an email to say please allow upto 28-35 days for delivery and money would not be taken until the order was shipped. I only reviewed the comments after ordering and was worried I would be stung for the money and never receive the kits. I can not fault their communication, I got an email when it was being processed/packing/shipped/delivered. My kits were delivered on Friday 23rd October and can not be happier and just wished I had ordered a couple more.

I ordered the Barcelona kit for my son's birthday. It arrived this morning and he is absolutely thrilled with it. It looks really good and was definitely worth the money - ?23.99 I think for the shorts and kit top. I would say that if you put in an order make sure you do it in plenty of time. I ordered mine on the 4th and it arrived today (21st) which meant it missed my son's birthday. However... it wasn't the end of the world and he's really delighted with it. I would highly recommend - the customer service is great too. I emailed a few times with queries and they replied immediately.

I would advise avoiding using this deeply suspect and highly suspect website. I wrongly assumed this company were UK based and the website seemed legit. However, they appear to be based in Asia and delivery is hence 30 days for personalised items. I ordered on 28/09 and chased the order when it had not arrived in time for my son's birthday on 15/10. I received confirmation that I "should" receive it within a couple of days on 12/10... still waiting and feel doubtful the shirt will arrive within the 30 days the website advises. The responses to my emails were downright rude, aggressive and quite shocking. This guy actially pointed me to the use of "should" as not being a concrete guarantee! He said they are reliant on various postal services and when they have to investigate why things go missing the customer needs to be prepared to wait 40 working days before receiving a refund. I pointed out that it was very difficult to get in contact due to only having an email address... and that the company had exceeded the 48 hours return of contact they assure. He basically replied to say "don't order from us if you don't want to deal with us by email". I pointed out they don't make it clear enough on the site that they are not UK based and stated I was worried about comments online stating goods were counterfeit. When I referred to my intentuin to contact UK Trading Standards he replied to the effect they have no power over an international business. Honestly, this guy sounds a complete cowboy, an utter tool. He made no apology for the delay and left me with no confidence that I would receive a refund. I am bitterly disappointed

I wish to complain about total sports over charging and providing false information. On my account information it states that the product was shipped on 8th February 2016. As this was a birthday present for the 10th February I was hopeful that the ?4.50 delivery charge would ensure that item was delivered the following day. However, the item was not delivered and only arrived today on the 11th February. I was further outraged when I saw that the item was only posted on the 10th February despite your website claiming otherwise and even worse the postage only cost ?1.26 despite you charging ?4.50.
This is clearly an obvious sign of you deceiving and over charging your customers. I have taken pictures of the stamp and the web page should you wish me to send them to you.
Please respond to my concerns at the earliest convenience

Lets put that into context. 59 1 star reviews (you fail to mention the positives) after trading for over 10 years and ***'s of satisfied customers! You will also note that not 1 person complained about the shipping cost!
Very unscrupulous! We tell customers the exact shipping cost we charge and they can decide whether to place an order! We are also cheaper than most online retailers selling the same sort of goods.

Poor service
I have never been taken for granted that much but I experienced this at total sports Golden Acre branch, Cape Town. Those people never take anybody /their job seriously. After helping my self and finding a running shoe without getting any assistance, I still left the shop without the shoe/getting assistance, whilst the shop was full of people who are employed to assist. There was 1 shoe on the shelves and ; the other pair was nowhere and; nobody cared, so after asking several times who was helping me with the other shoe, the response was a careless that one and this one whilst they were busy dancing to music some chatting with friends.

Placed an order on the 26/01/20. It was a Liverpool kit for my son's birthday. It's now March 11th and still nothing. I've tried to contact Totalsportsshop numerous times but no response. They are ignoring all of my emails. There are many complaints about this company. They are scammers. I will not stop until I receive the kit or a refund. This is online theft.

football strip liverpool name spelt incorrect
I ordered a Easter present for my 7 year old it arrived 4 weeks later and missed Easter. To my horror there were no socks Nd the name was spelt incorrectly which I HAD spelt out clearly. He doesn't wear it as it looks stupid. I have sent numerous mails where confirmed a replacement would be sent. Guess what nothing arrived. Again sent mails nothing. This is horrendous. childs football kit ordered over a month ago has still not arrived.
Order number 42132 ordered on 19th May. I emailed them at the end of May to cancel order and asked for money back, the response was that orders with printing on the back could take 17 days to proces. I recieved an email on 3rd June saying product was being packaged and had been dispatched on 9th June but that it could take 7 working days to arrive. It is now 20th June and still not arrived. I have again today asked for an update on my order via email and messenger. Demanding a refund if product has not been posted.

I have purchased a shirt for my son from TotalSportsShop website. I'm really not a fan of online shopping, but my son really wanted the shirt so I decided to take a risk. I was scammed by the company www.totalsportsshop.com. I didn’t think that there would be any problems. I placed the order and waited for the news about the purchase and delivery, but the seller didn’t hasten to send any information at all. I ordered a football strip in dec' 2010, it was not delivered. I complained and they re-ordered and said it was shipped in Feb' 2011, it still did not arrive. I have requested a tracking # and finally a refund, and they have ignored my e/mails.

You should still chase a refund from Alertpay. The TotalSportShop website states 'Our payment methods page tells you how to order and pay for products. For questions regarding delivery, and refunds please review our shipping page, and returns policy page. Customers agree to allow up to 28 working days for dleivery, and in the case of undelivered goods, refunds will only be granted after 40 WORKING DAYS.' Which means they will offer after 40 days to you a refund. But that's when they go quiet and never respond to emails. I informed Alertpay of this, which means that they will always be outside Alertpay's 30 policy and they opened a dispute up for me and I got my money back as TotalSportShop never answered Alertpay's emails either. We had goods sent to us but they were of poor quality and the sponsors writing came off the football shirt. We are epxected to post the item back. I bought a kit for my son for his Birthday, 3 weeks before, it arrived about 6 weeks after. everytime i contacted the company i got sarcastic standard form letter rsponse stating that it says clearly on their website how long it takes. well if you call clearly having to be redirected from the main web page twice before you can read up on this then yes. when the kit arrived io know it says replica but dont take the p155, it has no collar on it, just a folded floppy bit of material, 30 degree wash FIRST ONE AT THAT, the number on the back had wrinkled, wash 2, 30% of the lettering had peeled off, wash 3, well put it this way i bought him another kit. Absolute rip off, my most stupid purchase online ever.

I was ordering a shirt for my nephew and I ordered the shirt in what I thought was a timely manner.
It took 3 days to get an order confirmation. A further 5 days to say the order was being processed and by day 14 I decided to contact them to find out what what going on?
Well, I got a very delayed response - then an email condescendingly pointing out "you should read the delivery notifications that state 7-10 working days for the order and then a further 5-10 working days for delivery - in all you should prepare for a 28 working day turn around."
I tried to further say that these are surely guidelines - oh no, I was informed "we are not a UK-based as stated on the website" then a justification on that fact as to why they take so blooming long and also the reason I went with them over other companies was because they cheaper - which they were not.
Customer service is clearly lacking in this organisation and for a company that I can order from in the depth of Africa can get an item to me in 14 days is unacceptable for this company to stand behind a) lack of communication and b) lack of customer interface/service skills.

Don't confuse this with another shop with a similar name. Totalsportsshop.com is a fraud website and the owner is posting messages saying they have received goods and are happy. They don't give you your money back or reply when you ask for a refund.
I felt I should write my own experience with TotalSports. I ordered 2 football kits for my children and received an email saying that had been shipped. When I didnt receive within the time frame stated on the site I contacted them and was assured replacements would be shipped. The replacements were shipped and received promptly and my children were very happy. Orders are sent via airmail so it would seem some do get lost/delayed but TotalSports answered all my emails quickly and I am more than happy with their customer service.
