I am not a person who will just moan and moan very easily about some thing bad. I always have tried the things specifically until the life runs out of me ie. I lose patenice.
One such liar of a website is trustpilot, I thought anybody could get on it and write reviews but oh my god they only let good reviews on their website and write fake good reviews about companies themselves.
Some guidance is needed for this review website as it does not declare itself as paid advertising for different websites where it is accepting money to display their good character and hide their wrongdoings.
Please everybody I beg of you however reads this to come forward and testify your situation with trustpilot, please evrybody lets get this fakster trustpilot.co.uk out of business by complaining to David Cameron.

The famed Joakim Ditlev the Skilled story teller who can mince barks into a dogs mouth and one of the fake online review writers, Trust pilots own online deceiver.
Is Trustpiot so worried by reviews on TRUST PILOT that they had to dispatch a VIKING to Loot England. Trustpilot is a brazen company which has written fake good reviews for 95000 companies. There is no denying the fact you can write fake good reviews about yourself there has been n number of times people have pointed out that you have written good fake reviews and which is easily distinguishable from fake stuff.
1. Trustpilot is so insolent that you want to put the blame on customers who you make money from !
2. You have failed to mention - You dont have access to a companies customer base so how do you know what email address you get, you have given the choice to comanies to only provide you with fake happy customers.
3. You have failed to mention that you send emails to customers requestign reviews which in general terms is called SPAM.
4. You dont hide negative reviews you bury them for every 1 negative received you put on five positives, that is why the people who take up your service have positive ones and people who dont have just have negative one's there are scores of companies who have just negative ones. Not failing to mention that you write positive ones yourself.
5. If you release the data for the companies which take up your services it will show that only they receive fake good reviews.
6. What a shame you sell your companies a way to manipulate their reviews.
I will post very soon the fake good reviews you yourself Joakim have written about different companies. The fact is all reviews on Trustpilot are fake.
We will name and shame companies which take up your services which have good reviews and the companies dont take up your services and only have bad reviews.

I am working at Trustpilot and am sorry to see that you consider our review site as fake. Clearly, there are some misunderstandings, so please allow me to explain how Trustpilot works.

Trustpilot is an open review platform driven by an active community that has left reviews of more than 95.000 companies. There's no approval process, so the moment you publish a review on Trustpilot it will be visible. However, other users and companies can choose to report a review and that's what sometimes causes some confusion. There's multiple reasons why you can report a review - it can be a user reporting due to coarse language or a company who needs proof that the reviewer is a real customer. No matter what we look into the issue and have a team of community supporters to look into the reported reviews and take the needed actions. That means:
* No reviews are removed before we looked into the issue
* Companies can not remove reviews themselves - they can just report
* We don't hide negative reviews from companies paying for using our features

It's true that the way we make money is from companies buying access to more features on our platform, so they can automatically ask all new customers for feedback and use reviews on their website, Facebook etc. Non-paying subscribers have the same rights when it comes to replying to reviews and requesting a review to be reported. Unlike most other review platforms companies have the right to reply back and tell their version of the story. We think that's fair.

Feel free to visit our blog at http://blog.trustpilot.com if you are interested in knowing more about how Trustpilot works.

Regards,
Joakim Ditlev

“WATCH YOUR BANK ACCOUNT”
1/23/17

Purchased a £335 parrot cage, and paid once, got one confirmation of payment. Checked my bank account, 2 x £335 were taken out. Was sent on a wild goose chase trying to get it back for 5 days. They couldn't "relocate" my payment, nor the 2nd payment they took out (due to their system being down apparently). Needless to say, very stressfull, left me in a lot of trouble with my bank (charges and direct debits not being able to get paid) which have now been taken off due to many calls and hasstle explaining it all. Lots of lies from cs via email/phonecalls, who are very rude, ignorant and utterly clueless, and put you round in circles. Would never buy from again. Also after I paid, I was asked to fill in a delivery form, expecting it to be here within 48 hours, but the earliest I would have got it was 2 weeks later. Website is all lies and misleading. Thankfully I cancelled my order. I'd seriously watch your bank account from these thieves, had it not been I just happened to check mine online the next day, they might have got away with this, which would have led to further confusion down the line. Buy from if you want your stress levels go through the roof and money go missing in your account. My bank fraud department had to be involved to sort out their mess. Never again. I wished I'd done my research on these crooks, as all over the net there are horror stories about them. I put my review up on trustpilot, but what they do is report them, and get them taken down, and enter in their own positive fake reviews, I read this a few times online, and didn't quite believe it until I saw it for myself. So trustpilot can't be trusted either. My honest review was taken down, and also quite a few negatives were taken down underneath my one, and replaced with lots of positive ones within the hour.

UPDATE: On trustpilot, worldstores have now reported my review, as they have no record of the reviewer lol, a complete farce

UPDATE: worldstores have now got me banned from trustpilot for putting up my review of what they did to me: please see below my last review...(and Luchia Hope is the worldstores employee who replies to all the negatives on trustpilot, reports all the negative reviews and writes her own positives for the company)

Trustpilot's Compliance Team reported this review 4 seconds ago for the following reason(s):

The company has no record of this reviewer

Good Afternoon
Thank you for your response,

I can confirm that we have now found the missing payment. I have asked for both payments to be credited back to you. This can take up to 3 - 5 working days to clear with your banks processing times. Unfortunately, I have no way of speeding this process up with your bank.

The total amount of the refund is £669.98

I hope that this information provided is helpful and please accept my sincerest apologies for any inconveniences that this may have caused you.

Thank you

The notion that "Trustpilot is an open review platform" or "fair" is laughable!

- In reality Truspilot is censorious of negative reviews... All a 'paid-up' rogue trader has to do is request you take them down and you do! No investigation, no nothing! - Therefore Truspilot ratings are entirely unreliable. - This goes way beyond the notion of a 'right to reply', and not it's not "fair"; quite the reverse, it's entirely dishonest.

As an example... A few years ago I had to contact Peter Muhlmann directly to complain about TrustPilot removing perfectly legitimate negative reviews of your service users… A particular print company were the rogue traders on that occasion; having pestered me for feedback then censored it when I reported what had been a very negative experience. - Sheepishly, on the threat of public exposure Muhlmann restored my comments...

The other day I signed up again to place a review of a company called Bidvine, who had taken to spamming us and were unresponsive to direct contact. - I noticed Bidvine had another user's negative comment 'shut down' when I posted mine.

Now, at the same time I left (for the record) a negative review for TrustPilot itself given my previous negative experience, highlighting the censorship. Three days on and I find that as predicted Truspilot have CENSORED a perfectly legitimate negative review I left for what I regard as a rogue trader... Bidvine.

They did this without reference to me and without seeking proof of my claim - which I would be happy to supply - of the facts I reported.

In this way Trustpilot rather undermines itself... How CAN you trust it when they will happily take down honest reviews, just because they don't suit those who have 'bought in' to the service? I've emailed Muhlmann again, and copied the BBC's 'Watchdog' in on the complaint... But really, this is a croc, and it's been going on for years!

But basically, Trustpilot is a proven scam, and calls any firm that relies on its ratings into disrepute.

7 years later and Trustpilot has not upped its own game, despite claimimg that that's what they want from customers.

No rational person could accept that this is a fair system.

Trustpilot control which reviews are allowed and which are removed, but crucially do not allow companies to de-list. Therefore companies' brands are entirely at the mercy of their arbitrary decisions.

What is worse (hard to imagine it could be) is that the Trustpilot compliance team do not provide any reasons for their decisions. They claim this is to maintain the integrity of their systems - but if their algorithms were that accurate, it wouldn't matter to give reasons, because they wouldn't be giving away the technical micro-detail that would allow the software to be gamed.

They claim their software is 'unique' (which you can say about any program?) but they would never allow it to be tested by a third-party, so how do we know how accurate it is?

I know from experience that the whole process is flawed. I wrote a review for a supplier, which was removed. However:

1. I had been invited by Trustpilot themselves via their invitation process;

2. My review is already directly on my supplier's website;

3. The supplier's logo is on my website (because they are a web design/copywriter, and they set it up and run it for me)!

What kind of incompetent fools would claim that the review was not genuine?

I think we know the answer to that one!

Quesioned it with compliance - because it is ludicrous to suggest that the review is not genuine, and they said that the review must remain removed for reasons that they will not disclose.

My supplier loses out, and the process loses all credibility.

But you know what is worse than the incompetence? It's the smugness of the staff, who are always at their self-righteous and dismissive worst, refusing to even look at evidence.

There should be government regulation to protect small businesses whose reputations are being tarnished by Trustpilot.

Sometime ago I submitted to TRUSPILOT a 'bad' review for a company called Webwindows, because they were repeatedly sending me unsolicited e-mails, trying to sell me advertising space on newspapers. Apparently it turns out that Webwindows were well known for employing such policies. Months after that review Trustpilot contacted me telling me that my review was withdrawn “because Webwindows cannot identify the order on the basis of the review and have asked us to verify the purchase. For us to return the review to the website, we would need you to provide us with a copy of your order confirmation or invoice.” I told Truspilot that my review had nothing to do with a purchace and as such I could not provide copy of an Invoice and that they should read my review again before asking for irrelevant documentation. Their answer was “I understand your position, however without an order number or proof of purchase we can not post the review back on-line. Thank you for your understanding”. A laughable excuse by Trustpilot to delete a review which simply warned others of a company’s unethical and illegal promotional policies. Needless to say that Truspilot does not serve a Trustworthy cause.

Trustpilot is a fake site that's breeding ground for negative reviews, which companies then must pay to respond to. They Allow fake reviews on the site. Trustpilot allows unscrupulous customers to lie & blackmail other companies. Despite providing evidence, Trustpilot still do nothing as they think they are untouchable in the UK. I hope someone takes them to court soon and stops them from damaging UK businesses who refuse to pay them money. I'll happily donate for legal action against them.

Trustpilot reviews harm my business without any redress can this be fair? My business had a very angry client put AVOID AT ALL COSTS we had no way of defending ourselves except by going to the courts. Trustpilot will say that you can answer the review submitted but we all know that potential client will simply go elsewhere as an element of doubt has been created. They needs to be stricter controls of defamation on the Internet and Trustpilot should be made to pay for thousands of businesses that suddenly become victims

My experience with TrustPilot is just like the others on this site. There is a company called FoxTranslate that was so horrible that the company actually had to close their domain and relaunch as Rev.com. You can see a number of reviews that people left about Foxtranslate at http://www.pissedconsumer.com/reviews-by-company/fox-translate/fox-translate-sucks-20110103214380.html and http://fox-translate-reviews.measuredup.com/9213462. Over the past 2 months the company has been quietly getting ready re-launch itself as Rev.com and I suspect several other companies too.

Somehow over the past 2 months, the company has been able to collect 250-glowing five star reviews. This is more five start reviews than the rest of the industry combined! It doesn't take a genius to realize that these reviews are completely fake. Google should take immediate action to shut Rev.com and TrustPilot down. If for nothing else, Google should shut down Foxtranslate/Rev.com for falsely advertising that they are located in San Francisco, when instead they are actually located somewhere in Europe. The company only has a virtual office/mailbox service in San Francisco. There are no U.S. employees of Foxtranslate/Rev.com in the U.S.

We worked hard to send out email invitations for our customers past and present to leave honest reviews about their experience with us. TrustPilot then called us to sign up for their paid service and we declined because we used another review company at the present. 1 week later.. the handful of positive reviews we had on TrustPilot were ALL taken down. Very disappointing.

Take a thought out for business who are being blackmailed by TRUSTPILOT when bad reviews are written up against their company profile.

The only way to stop such competitor activity is to sign up for TRUSTPILOT, sign away your rights by agreeing to their terms and conditions, and pay TRUSTPILOT thousands of pounds a year to prevent competitors damaging your business with fake damaging reviews.

TRUSTPILOT really are little more than a company which takes money with menaces... I really think they should be forced to put in p[lace default verification of claims, so that only customers who have genuinely ordered from a company are able to leave reviews... and the customer has to provide their full name and details... none of this anonymous crap!

This will attempt to cut out the fake good reviews, and the fake bad ones...

Based on my experience so far with Trustpilot, I was not surprised when I Googled 'trustpilot cheating reviews' to find this site, and see I'm not the only one who finds them suspect.
I too posted a negative review about a product that I'd bought on Ebay from a company. It was because of the positive reviews I had read previously on that site that I thought it would be okay. So following my negative experience I just wanted to warn others who were considering that product.
A day after I had posted my review I received an email from Trustpilot who wanted verification confirming that I had been a purchaser of this product. I thought the request was fair and immediately submitted my order confirmation.
2 days later and they still have not posted my comment. I also notice that 2 other negative reviews that were present on that company's products have also been 'suspended' pending verification' at the same time as my own.
I sent Trustpilot an email asking them why my review had not been reinstated and so far have received no response.

Unless anything changes it appears that Trustpilot are operating a scam for dubious companies to come across to the internet purchasing public as worthwhile. If I see anything change I will update this comment. I'm wondering if it's worth sending this story to a journalist and see if they want to investigate further. If companies want to improve their image and counter negative reviews they should make sure they provide a good product and customer service. Not by faking good reviews and getting the negative ones deleted.

Hilarious! Almost immediately after I posted a comment on how I had not received a refund from Lifestyle Shop 3 months after handing over money for goods not received, I received a message from Trustpilot telling me my language was 'coarse'. It was not! They could not even specify the so-called coarse language. HOw are these people allowed to get away with it?

TRUSTPILOT is a SCAM without a doubt. I purchased a Payment Sence credit card machine on the basis of the glowing remarks on TRUSTPILOT- I posted a very sensible critique of the service I had from payment sence which has not been very good, not really bad and something they could easily resolve - My review was removed in no time by TRUSTPILOT citing COURSE LANGUAGE - nothing could be further from the truth - I had made a sensible well worded critique - One thing is obvious - TRUSTPILOT is certainly not to be trusted at all and by association Payment Sence likewise - IT IS AN OUT AND OUT SCAM - Needs loads of publicity to close it down

Trustpilot is a total SCAM. I was kept waiting for a shipment for almost a month where the owner of this online shop had gone away on holiday without telling anyone and there was no one to address my issues to my satisfaction. This company gave the impression that they were in the UK, with a UK land line phone number and a .co.uk website address, yet they are based in Estonia!

I tried to cancel my order after waiting for weeks without any news - eventually, someone did reply from another office and said I could not get a refund as I had already paid for the goods - I could not believe this attitude which breaks all distance selling rules and regulations.

I left my feedback based on my genuine and honest experience with this company. However, within days, my feedback was removed saying simply that I had referred to 'another company' which was against their rules on leaving feedback.. I had done no such thing!

I sent Trustpilot many e-mails to see why they had removed my feedback and they have not had the courtesy of replying to even one single e-mail. Yes, Trustpilot should be closed down. I purchased expensive goods because of glowing feedback via Trustpilot - anyone purchasing from websites where their decision is based on positive feedback should be very wary as all is NOT what it seems!

Trustpilot even have a 0800 phone number for any queries on their website, but that does not work either!

Trustpilot removes names of staff who have been complained about - first names only, so no privacy or DPA issues, but oddly allows multiple good reviews with names...first and last...to be left on their site. If a review site is truly unbiased the rules of names should be unilateral and not only applied to bad reviews. Also, if my complaint, regarding staff members has any validity, then why shouldn't I name them (not first and last name, but a first name only)? Shouldn't the company be aware of their employees awful work ethics when they see the review? Shouldn't people, who come on to Trustpilot with similar experiences, see how often they may come from a particular person at the company? Especially if that person is a 'supervisor' there? The company has a chance to respond - they can if they disagree. Trustpilot needs to get out of the political arena and do what they are there to do, have users experiences shared with other users, period. If they have another agenda, then do not advertise themselves as a review site - because they're not - they are an advertising site then. Which I believe is fraudulent advertising on their part, isn't it?

Trustpilot is indeed deceitful. I left negative feedback for BuildDIrect.com, and the this company actually responded back to me apologizing for my experience. However, today I received notification that my review had been removed pending verification. Why should I have to jump through hoops to verify my complaint? How can Trustpilot be trustful when all reviews are not treated equally. Do the positive reviews also have to verify their review. NO, they do not, it is only when the company makes a complaint! Perhaps, we should all flag the positive reviews for verification.

Trustpilot is fake. They will harass you a million times until you remove negative reviews. They will come up with bogus reasons for removing them. I very recently wrote an " Unfavourable " review about a company called Fireplacemegastore" this review was an honest one and referred mainly to their "Terms and Conditions" a warning to would be buyers to read them before making a purchase, I didn't realise that the cooling off period was only Fourteen days, The company will, at their discretion, take an item back after this period, but the buyer has to pay 30% of the total cost of their purchase plus cost of the return, my review was removed by Trust Pilot because the company didn't know me, therefore Trust pilot needed proof of purchase. I have sent the order number, customer number, photograph of the delivery note displaying my name, company name, customer number and date of shipment, and an email from the company saying I had past the cooling off period of fourteen days, plus photographs of these documents, but Trust Pilot just keep emailing me telling me " not enough". My conclusion is "Yes" I agree with all of the comments I have just read, that they only publish good reviews and I too suspect that they being paid by some company's to remove "unfavourable " reviews, and may be as many people suspect fake many of the " five star" ones themselves.

Joakim - Trustpilot, Trustpilot is crap, therefore you are.
Here is my story:
I bought a online service, and turn out it was a scam, I was so mad about that, therefore, I wrote a review from TrustPilot.com. After a day, they(TrustPilot) sent me an email and said that they need an evident from me that I was doing with that scam website. I sent them a copy through email(copy and paste) that I have do business with that website. Next day, they sent me another email and said they cannot read it and tell me to send a screen shot. I did as they said, next day, they send me another email and ask me to forward the email that I have doing business that scam website, and I did as they said and next day they asked me to send the screen shot(I have done it as said above). To this point, I actually lose patient with them, I'm sure I have done anything they have asked for but they keep asking for more and more to make me lose my patient. Finally, I review has been archived.
I have read on "the guardian" that TrustPilot is where the scam service use paid review to write good about them, therefore, in my opinion, they got paid from scam to prevent from bad review.

This is where I think that Trusted Shops makes a big difference. Trusted Shops offers reviews for companies with a closed platform and the company is certified. This certification means that the company has to follow the regulations in place in order to be an online shop.

I filed in a review about a company called Pobjoy Mint, they had taken money then decided they had over sold their product and returned the fee for those who had ordered one product as opposed to those who ordered multiples . My words were critical of the marketing strategy and how they handled customers . This was deigned unacceptable with Trustpilot claiming my report was not accurate so my review was removed. I offered to show evidence that that proved I was right but this was declined after all why would they want my evidence when I am not paying them? There were two other 5* reviews which suddenly appeared both of these written by employees but that apparently is ok. Trustpiliot aka Trashpilot is manipulated by them to show the reviews they want rather like paying Google to have your advert first in a found search. Nothing impartial or trustworthy about them at all not to be trusted in any way shape or form. I will only leave my reviews reputable sites.

TrustPilot does nothing - absolutely nothing - when fake reviews are reported to them.

They delete genuine reviews all the time. I had a genuine issue at a UK skin clinic called DestinationSkin with the chemicals they used; and Trust Pilot just deleted it. They favour the companies obviously, but in that case there's no point us believing the ratings. They're not reliable. I would rather use another platform like google reviews / facebook.

This company takes down honest reviews. Companies that pay them have reviews removed. This is a terrible company. They use algorithms to remove reviews.

Trustpilot Content Integrity software deleted my last review automatically.

On their request I uploaded documents to prove it was a false postive. No response.

I reminded them after 11 days. No response.

Reminded them again after 18 days. All together, three messages and documents were sent.

Trustpilot still has to answer.
