I am out on everything
The driver left an expensive package at my door and went away. Please tell them that they can knock or ring or call. Whatever they want. Don't hesitate. Because I was at home and wasn't expecting the parcel that day. Why are other services so different? They would never do that. What was so hard to just knock?
Don't want to do business with you anymore. I'm pissed.
truck driver
On 8/23/17, @ approx. 6:33 am, one of your big rig UPS trucks (Indiana plate P359415) did something that could've cost several lives; if not his/her own.
I was driving on 275 West towards 471 in KY. The lane for 471 Exit starts backing up around the Wilder exit. This truck stays in the lane next to the 471 exit.
I've already pulled in behind a car to take the exit ramp. Your truck driver stayed in the lane next to me, (these cars are bumper to bumper) then he drives directly in front of the cars onto the ramp. Where he entered that ramp is at the very beginning of a curve; if the car hadn't stopped he would've hit them.
I understand that the traffic is very bad due to the bridge construction; however, big rigs must be more cautious. I do understand how they feel because my brother has driven a big rig all of his life. This driver should receive some type of reprimand because of this.
lost package
I shipped a package (birthday gift) from a UPS Store and they said it would be delivered before the birthday. Several days after the shipment, there is no tracking info only that a shipping label has been created. The UPS Store tells me the package went out the day I brought it in for shipment. UPS can't tell me where it is and will not look for it. UPS is telling me I need to call the UPS Store and have the store call UPS with proof the package went out on the truck. Why do I need to call the UPS Store to have them call UPS? Are you kidding me? I paid for the shipping service, why isn't the service getting done? Why do I need to do UPS' job? At this point no one is helping me and I am out the $36 gift and the $10 shipping charge. UPS SUCKS and I will no longer use them. I will go to the Post Office from now on. All UPS does is deliver packages and they can't seem to do that so they should not be in that business.
customer service
I have a package sitting literally 5 min from me and UPS is refusing to do naything about it. And the lady at the UPS store on 14th street was seriously rude and nasty. When i said the USPS treats me better she responded, ummm yeah, no way. Extremly rude and unpleasent. All i want is my package which has all the stuff for the live animals that were delivered to early. And the window hours on Hammond are just sad a rediculas that everyone in town complains. UPS sucks and is rude and unhelpful. Funny thing is ive never had to depend on UPS and never again will i put myself in this situation. USPS is way more helpful and goes above and beyond when you need a package. There is always someone at the facility and if UPS cared at all about there customers they would find a way for them to get there stuff instead of having it sit in a storage room all weekend for no reason.
delivery driver
On August 18, 2017 at approximately 4:50 pm the driver pulled up in my driveway throwing my package onto the front porch. I spoke to the driver before leaving and told him he would have to back straight out. It had been raining for 6 days, the ground was very soft especially the yard portion. I sat on my front porch watching the driver as he backed out. The driver could not back out straight. He left the driveway into the yard. The driver got stuck making ruts and deep hole in the yard. He spun at one point into the yard beside the driveway. The truck was too tall as well tearing limbs from my pine trees. I got up for a closer view, the driver left his vehicle at the end of the driveway with a smart [censor] attitude. I told the driver, "See what you did?, you left ruts in my yard." He said you want me to pay for it and I said no I would take care of it, meaning I would call UPS myself. He said you must not think I don't make good money and he got paid well. He got on the phone to call a supervisor giving him my address and phone number. The driver gave a wrong address; he didn't even know where he was. I heard him speaking giving an incorrect address so I corrected him as he spoke. The drive also made a video of the driveway. What he included in his destruction I have no idea. He said you want us to leave your packages at the end of the driveway? I told him to park his truck and walk the package to the front door.
Previous another delivery the driver cut through my yard to turn around leaving ruts and deep holes in my yard. I purchased dirt to fill in the holes of my yard.
Your drivers have no respect for another persons property. I am sick and tired of your sassy drivers with no respect and common courtesy for another mans property. This time UPS will pay for the destruction they leave behind on deliveries.
driver
My family and I were driving on Will Clayton in Humble Texas (77338) around 7:30 am on Friday morning (8/18/2017) . My wife was driving in the lane next to a UPS driver (license plate GDP 7367) as we we turned from Lee Rd onto Will Clayton. She switched lanes and began driving in front of the UPS driver and proceeded to speed up and tailgate my family including our 2 year old son in the backseat. This became obviously uncomfortable so I waived my hand outside of my window to signal him to slow down and he threw his hands up and ignored my request. I told my wife to get over into another lane and he sped off going well over the speed limit . These actions really disturbed me because there are so many accidents, especially by company drivers, the school year has just begun and most importantly because my son was in the car. As we approached the red light I asked him if it was it necessary for him to be speeding like that and that my son was in the car and he replied we were in the damn way! At this point I'm furious and we began to exchange unfavorable words until he sped off when the light turned green.
next day air
Yesterday I shipped an envelope next day air from california to maryland. This envelope contained a passport someone had left behind and needed to travel. The envelope made it to the kentucky terminal in time but was never put on the plane going to maryland. It stayed in ky for entire other day. When I spoke with the customer service agent she assured my it was on the plane but weather was causing the delay. I checked the tracking, it only had an arrival scan not a departure scan. I know it was not on a plane, if was on a plane it would have the departure scan so it could be added to the flight manifest. I used to work for ups. The result, the person missed there international flight. I currently work for one of the big three defense contractors and we almost exclusively use fedex now because of similar problems with ups. Ups needs to get their [censor] together. I will never ship ups again.
delivery
On June 27, 2017 I purchased a recliner from the Gettington Co. It was shipped via UPS on June 28, 2017 and arrived in Oakland, Ca. on July 5, 2017 the first delivery date was suppose to be July 12, 2017 no delivery on that date so I waited until July 18th then I called the company I ordered from and they could not tell what happened to my delivery so they placed the order again. I waited to see if I received any e-mails from UPS which I did stating delivery would be July 24th I stayed home all day waiting even cancelling a doctor appointment no delivery. The next day I called customer service to see if they could tell me where my parcel was I was told that it was sitting in one of UPS's warehouse's but she could not why but that she said she seen a July 25th delivery date again no delivery. Well to my surprise on July 28th 2017 a month after placing my order arrived at 9:24 AM I watched the UPS man trying to unload the parcel he tried pulling off the truck but that did not work so got in the truck and pushed out of the truck on to the street he then rolled it across the street hand over hand up my drive way. I opened my door and asked him if that was for me he said yes and that he was glad to get it off his truck after looking at the box I asked him if it could be damaged he said if it was to call UPS and then ran to his truck and took off. We managed to get the damaged box up to the porch with my hand dolly. When I pulled the tape off the box the box fell apart the recliner had six scratches on it and a small slit on the back of the chair at that point even if I wanted to return it the box was so damaged there was no way. Why did your driver not use a hand truck to get the parcel off the truck. On August 2, 2017 the same diver delivered the second recliner the company sent out he took off the truck the same way he did the first one this time leaving it on my lawn. Again I used my dolly to get it on my porch. I called Gettington they arranged to have it picked up by UPS which they did on August 4th this UPS man used his hand truck to pick it up he was very nice. I can not begin to tell you how frustrating this situation was. I just do not know what to say UPS.
driver/delivery
I took off work to be avaible for my delivery on August 14th. 2017. I qatch the Driver park at the corner he got out with a small package for someone down the street. I was sure he would be coming to me next however he simply got back into the truck and drove away. I thought well maybe he had found a closer parking spot so I waiting. After a half hour passed by I decided to just check my online tracking to see if it stated by end of day. To my disappointment my tracking information stated (No one was avaible during time of delivery) which was clearly a lie. Not having my own transportation in order for me to retrive my package I will have to use public transportation to pick up my 39lbs package which is a different city because it was the final delivery attempted. I can not speak for the other 2 times but seeing this It's hard to believe that those 2 attempts were even made. There should be away to contact the driver during a typical route so this won't happen to people that are at home waiting for thier packages.
delivery driver/dispatch/customer service
"Really?... " was what the driver said to me, before he ignored my questions I asked him about what's wrong? What did I do? Apparently being handicapped and taking more than 30 seconds to answer the door is unacceptable to UPS. On the rude drivers way off he decided to call me a handicapped cracker beneath his breath, which totally shocked me beyond belief. I examined my package he so kindly dropped from 4 feet off the ground onto concrete at my door and it was shattered and broken. UPS won't deliver to my home anymore, packages get dropped off wherever and whenever the driver feels like it. The local UPS store, and sometimes they ride around on the truck for 3 days and get sent back to the sender. No sorry I missed you notices on the door, no delivery attempts made anymore. Calling to complain gets you nowhere! Managers at dispatch say they'll take care of it, yet I see the driver drive past my home with the same route. This behavior probably got this guy a promotion. Don't use this service. Fed Ex or even DHL will treat you like a human being, not just an inconvenience to the bitter, incompetent, and UPS(et) with their own lives. I will never use UPS again, a reasonable resolution would be to ensure the driver is doing his job correctly or fire him and get someone that will treat the very customers they serve with professionalism and respect. That's what brown can do for me.
customer service
I had shipped a package through UPS but I found out that the original address I had was wrong. I found this out by checking the tracking status that said that the company had moved. I then called up the company and they gave me the new address. I then went to the UPS website and found they have a service called “UPS Package Intercept” that will intercept the package if you need it shipped to another address. I called UPS and gave them the new address but they told me they had a different address on their database that they were going to deliver it to. I then called the company to verify the address and they told me that the address UPS had on their database was not the correct address (it was their corporate offices) and that they needed to ship it to the new address I was given. I then called UPS back and told them that the address they had on their database was the wrong address and that they needed to use the new address I had given them. However, even after they told me they would intercept the package and ship it to the new address, they decided not to listen to me and then delivered the package to the address they had on their database. So I once again called the company and they said that they had the package it needed to be delivered to the other address that I was given when I first spoke to them. I then called UPS again, and after having to explain the situation all over again (for whatever reason they did not keep any records from the previous calls I made to them), I asked them why did they delivered it to the wrong address after I told them that it was wrong. They apologized and said that they will contact the driver and have the package picked up and re-deliver it to the new address I had given them from the start. However, when I checked the tracking information on their website, I found that they shipped the package to another city (address unknown) that was different from the city of the corrected address that I was given them from the beginning. So, I once again called UPS (now for the fourth time) and, again, I had to explain the situation all over from the start since they don’t keep records (and this time I was told that they never had a record of receiving a call or the correct address) and that the package was refused by whoever they delivered it to and now it was being returned to me. I again asked them why and again I was told that they never had received another address to deliver it to. Now this has become pathetic. After calling them five times and giving them the correct address five times, how can they claim that never had the correct address? This now lead me to believe that, 1) they don't have a clue in what they are doing; and/or, 2) they are liars. I can't believe that a company of this magnitude can screw up something so simple as delivering a package since that is what they supposedly do for a living. So, I will go to the store and pick up my package and take it to FedEx to have it delivered. I will no longer use UPS for anything until they reimburse me for the original cost of the delivery. They have, in fact, lost a customer.
delivery time missed
I shipped documents from Fairbanks, Alaska, on Monday, August 7, 2017, paying for 2nd day delivery by 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 9, 2017. When I tracked the package it had gotten hung up in Ontario, CA. It did not arrive by the promised delivery time or date.
On Wednesday, August 9, 2017, I called for help on the [protected] number which gets a person to the Philippines. A supervisor there interceded and told me he arranged to have the package on the first flight out of Ontario that night at midnight and the package would be delivered by 10:30 a.m., Thursday, August 10, 2017. He also said he would call me by 9 a.m. to let me know the status of the package. The package was not delivered, he didn't call, and the scheduled delivery date is still 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 11.
When I asked to talk to someone in the U.S., I was transferred to a number which, when the person answered, I was told was in Overland Park, Kansas. I told the person I had a complaint. I was told he couldn't help me and but could give me the number where I could reach someone. He gave me the number to the Philippines.
I am sure anyone can see why I will NEVER use UPS again.
careless behavior and rude service
My fiance and I went to UPS to overnight a check for our new duplex we are about to rent. The customer service that we got was horrible! She slammed everything down on the counters and whenever I tried to ask a question she made it seem like the end of the world that I was even talking to her. After we got everything done and verified that she had all the information that was needed she left our package, which contains a check mind you, just sitting on the counter. I asked her if she was going to put it in the back and she was just like "oh it's fine there." Well today I get a phone call saying that I did not provide enough information and our package didn't get delivered overnight like it was supposed to. They had our package for over 24 hours and didn't realize there was a problem until after it should have already been delivered. When I called to give them the information the employee stated that it was my fault for neglecting to give them the correct information. This is the same woman who we delt with in store and whom I asked if that was all the information she needed. She said that "according to google maps my package cannot be delivered because that address is a duplex and packages cannot be delivered to those whithout A or B addresses." I'm sorry but I live in a duplex currently and I have had plenty of packages delivered via UPS without an A or B address. I told her this and I gave her the other information she requested. I asked if our package would be delivered on time and she simply said no and hung up on me. I'm sorry but that is unacceptable to treat customers like that. Just because you don't like your job or you have a problem that does not give you the right to treat or talk to me like I am at fault for your mistakes or problems.
ups driver refuses to deliver package at front door.
UPS driver refuses to drive through my gate and deliver packages to my front door.
I left a note on my gate instructing the driver to deliver at front door. I observed him go near the note and not even acknowledge it and proceeded to put package over the gate onto the ground.
That evening I went on UPS web site and requested on their form where I wanted the packages delivered and the code to my gate. I even spoke with a representative and she assured me it would be addressed.
8/7/17
Another package came and the driver again left it at the gate. It has been raining quite a bit and I don't want my packages damage by rain or by being thrown over the fence. I ordered a hoverboard and had to send it back the next day due to it malfunctioning. When I called the company they blame UPS for improper handling.
8/8/17
I contacted UPS again and spoke with Ms. John and was very dissatisfied. These are her comments.
The driver is new. My comment so he can't read the request.
The driver doesn't have enough time on his route. My comment I pay just like everyone else.
The driver can leave the package at his discretion. My comment, so he can leave it at the corner that's near my house.
UPS was given my code and now I'm concerned that the driver will either share my code out of spite or use it to get even because I complained.
Same thing happening to me...driver drops packages over a public gate that serves 2 houses instead of coming to my house. Then submits "left at front door" as the location online.
Multiple calls to local supervisor, who is always nice and never does a thing (apparently).
I also don't like the idea of this [censor], who clearly is doing this on purpose, to have my gate code.
Next step is apparently a 3-way call with Amazon...although really at this point i just want them to stop using UPS for my deliveries. I try having them all sent to a UPS store instead now, but still some end up at my residence instead...
Thanks for posting!
I am complaining about a woman that answered the store for the ups that says she was a manager rude very rude
I am complaining about a woman that answered the store for the UPS that says she was a manager rude very rude. I called to see if you would pick up my package and she had said she'd we don't do that which was OK with me but then I asked her would you happen to have a number of the action of the actual company who would come pick it up and she said" it's like the one 800 number !" So I let these comments a complaint to that store here to find out it was her so she starts texting me these things kind a like fighting via text how rude is that really that's your manager that's who you have running the store somebody needs to talk to her the store number is 2801 then she proceeded to send me these taxes which I'm going to copy and paste on here she says she's giving me information no she did not give me information I just said OK thank you which then I was a little pissed off so I wrote this little letter which was supposed to be to somebody else not herself again to get nastier with me .. I tried to upload the video of the text messaging but for some reason it wouldn't do it so someone needs to talk to the manager and tell her you do not speak with your customers like that and just because she put something to text doesn't make it so she just covered her but now makes me so angry and I'm usually not one to open my mouth but that was very rude and then when she started texting me these things stating that she could help me blah blah blah blah blah it made me a little bit more angrier was she supposed be taking care of us we are the ones that give her her job I mean seriously not being as rude as her she did not help me whatsoever I just want to let you know that that makes me angry that she tried to make it seem that she did

I have been waiting for this box since Saturday. We live on a county island and I have a business that receives 5-10 boxes a day for the the 12 years from UPS and now all the sudden they say my address is in correct. Why the hell the driver if he is new to the area can't call me since my cell number is on every shipping label box is beyond me. I watched him Saturday come down my dirt road and turn around 2 houses from me and go back out. I was waving my arms my neighbors had a roof company on there roof that was yelling at him to stop. I have had my Vendor that ships to me call them every 4 hours yesterday and last night (Monday) they put in the notes again for the 2nd day in a row that it is a wrong address. It a crying shame there is not more competition that I can use. My supplier only uses them. Very dissatisfied and you can't get a hold of anyone.
product pick-up
UPS customer service is a joke! They were supposed to call me to pick up a large deck furniture set I was returning but instead came out without calling and I wasn't home. They left the labels but when I called them said that I would have to pay them to come get the packages. Spoke to supervisor MARIA who said that it was my fault I wasn't home and nothing they can do about it. My choices are pay them, get the items to a UPS location or flag down a UPS truck driving down the street! To schedule a new pick-up I was told that I would need to be home from 8am to 8pm Monday through Friday! WTF? FED-EX please save me!

my tracking # k2315437728 was dropped off for shipment to Hawaii. Inroute, my package was destroyed and misplaced for 2 weeks while I desperately tried to locate it. then it showed up on my doorstep somehow. for the 5 days, we the vendor and the customer have tried to get ups to resolve there screwup to no avail. Everyone on the ups end is always very apologetic but the problem persists. All we ask is that ups pick up the package and deliver it without further burden to the vendor or customer. Take responsibility for your screwup and do right by your customers

my package being delivered to wrong address
I had a package that was supossed to be delivered to 2146 Hwy 2227, Somerset, KY 42503. It was not delivered to that address. It was delivered next door to 2370 KY 2227. (Leslie's Tires. Phone [protected].)
This package was from Cigar International and was $75.00 Value.
I tracked the package online and did not recognize the signature of WYATT.
I had to call Leslie's Tires and see if it was delivered to them. The tracking number is 1ZEW96780306530414.
Please make sure this doesn't happen again.
unauthorized delivery to wrong address
On July 11, 2017, I placed two separate orders for 5 items through Amazon.com. Both orders were submitted to have the shipments delivered to my home address: 5 Beehive Place, Apt M, Cockeysville, MD 21030.
Amazon assigned one UPS tracking numbers for both orders: 1Z21F58E0349485604.
Of the five items ordered, one was noted as being "undeliverable" due to "address cannot be found." This seems unlikely, since I receive between 3-5 packages a week through UPS. They know were I live.
For the other 4 items, Amazon noted that all were delivered on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, to Lexington, KY, US. This address does NOT coincide with the delivery address noted on the orders.
Today, I contacted Amazon about both orders. Where inventory remains available, Amazon is working to send me replacement items. They also confirmed that none of the 5 items was "returned" to Amazon - especially the one noted as being "undeliverable" to my home address.
I bring this to your attention because something is amiss at the Lexington, KY, address/location area for UPS delivery or distribution. Because I order online almost exclusively, I know the UPS drivers and regional staff in the Sparks, MD, location. I am convinced that these items never made it to Sparks, MD, and that someone in the Lexington, KY distribution center stole these items and chose to place any acceptable notation on the tracking log.
I would like to place a formal complaint and will seek possible criminal charges, if my complaint can be prosecuted in the applicable jurisdiction.
My continued trust in UPS is contingent on the company's ability to consistently and regularly deliver packages. Because of my work schedule, I rely almost exclusively on home delivery, and UPS has been, until now, a trusted partner. This example, while an anomaly, forces me to reconsider UPS as a choice delivery package company.
Sincerely,
Karen S. Park
