I have been approached by this company and am unsure as well. They said they will find the discrepancies in my loan (for 1% of original loan amount) and give to their law people who will then assign a lawyer at $1000 per month (for about 9 months). I have researched the lawyers, the Founders and everything I can. All seems OK...but they are a newbie company. Basically not enough data to determine. The Rep I talked to was knowledgeable and explained well and answered my questions. I would go for it for sure except for...I am afraid of the process where I am not supposed to talk to the lender once the TRO (temporary restraining order) is filed, which means I'm not supposed to be sending the lender money, correspondence, nothing. That is the only part of this whole thing I am holding back on because at this time, I have never been late in my payments. Problem is, everything is going to change and soon--so I have to do something. Also, 9 months (10 if you include the audit the first month) is a long time to wait to see if you are a winner...almost like having a baby! I was told things would get worse before they got better--but they cannot guarantee that we will win. So what to do...what to do.
Thank you everyone! I have been holding off becoming a customer of these guys and am glad I listened to my gut. They were too positive I would win my case, they kept lowering the cost of the audit and raising the cost of the legal services. George Pulvino keeps trying, but the next time he calls, I am just going to tell him we went with someone else (and I did... me!). I've figured out how to make it all work without losing my home or even being late on one payment. By the time trouble comes-a-knocking, when all is said and done, I will be paying less for my house than if I went with US Loan Auditors/My Legal Service.

We just wanted to say, that we are totally unsatisfied with everything about USLA and my post are based on actual business that we have had with USLA. What we have posted are facts and truths. There is so much more that I can say, but will wait.
We really wanted to have good things to say about this company, but we are experiencing the same, exact things, that everyone else here is posting about, "VERBATIM."
There are just too many unrelated and people whom dont know each other, posting the same exact things here.
This is no coincidence at all.
We, like so many others, were desperate to save our homes(s). We relied upon the sales rep and his supposedly, inside knowledge of this company and all fell victim to their lies and untruths. I blame a lot of it on the sales rep(s) as they as they are greedy and only look towards the commission.
They are like a bad, used car salesman and will tell you anything. On the other hand, the partners of USLA have a legal liability and responsibility to ensure that the sales reps are correctly informed, trained and are representing the company in the most truest, professional and ethical way possible. That has never happened. In fact, it just may be to their advantage not to! (At least for now)
We were really hoping that USLA would correct their mistakes, make amends to the wrong doings and move forward with what they supposedly set out to do in the first place, which was to help people sue their lenders and recover money and their homes. We have searched court files and cannot find a single case that USLA has won. If they have won cases, then why cant we find even just 1? That's all any of us have asked for, just 1 case?
Our opinion is that there has NEVER been any case or cases won by USLA, or their attorneys that they assign to these particular cases. My background and personal friendships, spread far and wide into the judicial system. It is not to say that what they claim (winning cases for the homeowner/clients) is not true, it is just that after extensive research, we were unable to locate any such cases. We will continue to research and report back.
If USLA could inform us of just a few case numbers, District or court code, or even attorneys names whom have won these particular USLA client cases, this would be greatly appreciated. We will report back to this board in a fair, truthful and professional manner.
We are assuming that the response will be that "USLA cannot divulge case information" (or something to that degree.) There is no attorney/client privilege consent form ever signed by any party, either client, USLA, or the representing attorney for the client. Therefore, USLA or the assigned attorney, may divulge this information. Additionally, it is public record. Record concealment of case information & facts is very rare in such types of cases such as these.
We may also hear from USLA that upon settlement of the case, that the client and lender have agreed not to make public, any of the settlement terms. This can be construed as a way of saying that there are no settled cases.
We ask that USLA provide any information for ANY cases that have been resolved. This will show the average length of time a case has taken to settle, and that a case actually has been settled and settled in favor of the client, not the lender.
MOREOVER, WHERE ARE ALL OF THE COMMENTS FROM SATISFIED USLA CLIENTS THAT HAVE WON THEIR CASES?
We feel that if USLA could show the people here on this board, actual proof of satisfied customers, that this negative situation of the comments on this board, unsatisfied customers, protesting at the office parking lot and so on, might just result in the opposite and make their business prosper.
If it is true, then, USLA, lets be fair! Show us the proof. Make believers out of all of us and provide us concrete proof of your companies positive results for the clients of USLA. In fact, additionally show us any cases that have gone all the way through the legal court system that have been lost, but that were completed. This would show some type of credence as well. We look forward to your reply.

If you read the first page, there is a J LaMar that posted his phone number. I have called him several times in the past, he is a Barker Goon, repeats the company lies. Fast talker like he knows everything going on. Acts like what they are doing is legit. I'm assuming he and JL-83 are the same. Says they have helped thousands of people, It was hard to stop laughing. Says the same response that alethia said is the company response, that it's illegal for those that won to post anything about their case. He told me it's normal for a company to have some that are not happy, that they refund those right away that are not satisfied. Another moment to hold back my laughs. I say let's all call him and try to educate the smart [censor] how wonderful this company is. Make sure the CA Bar and DOJ know his name and phone number, another name to make public when they make the front page news. US LOAN and MY US (US LEGAL) are a scam! TOO many promises and no results-this company has not won any cases and/or settled, it is a sales pitch! The only way they can be stopped is by having us the consumers contact the State Bar, DRE, AG, and BBB. Do not pay the monthly services in lieu of your mortgage... Many of their attorneys have stopped using the companies services. One of the attorneys that was going to take my case was Ms. Lapin, just research her cases in Federal Court-nothing against her, but the services she used to have these lawsuits prepared are horrible. I believe she was a victim too.
The only way to stop these folks is by us clients coming forward!
When I drove by the business today I thought it was pretty interesting that they have their big green truck trying to block the sign that is on the protesting truck. If they say they are not doing anything wrong then why go to this extreme? Sure looks like USLA has something to hide. They must not want people finding out that they are not a good company! Us Loan Auditors are scam! Their sales agents don't know a thing about the mortgage industry. They hire investigators who are not skilled in this field. I was told my loan papers were the incorrect documents, yet my fraud investigator shoud have gone throught the loan papers s to make sure we had the correct loan documents before he turned them in. He did not know what the hell he was doing. Now my file is sitting in Limbo. I paid all this money. I received a call from a lady who is in charge of my file. She did not know anything either. I want my money back!
I agree, by bringing out the green truck, shows how desperate they are. It actually helps to bring attention to the protest. It seems like usla doesn't think, they just react. Homeowner and employee “Fraud Investigator” Pat Lourim (He must be a friend of yours or he’s in debt to you and paying off his forensic audit fees from all his properties that were in foreclosure)...this story is a BIG FAT LIE. Pat’s property at 3901 Kings Way where he claims one of USLA’s Top 100 attorney saved his home and stopped the harassing calls from lender American Mortgage was taken back by the bank by the investor DEUTSCHE BANK NATIONAL TRUST COMPANY in April 2009...this is why the harassing calls stopped, he doesn’t own it anymore; Pat owns another property at 4833 Robertson Ave that was taken back by the lender in March 2010; and Pat owns another property at 2835 Becerra Way which has a foreclosure recorded in July 2009. This is ALL PUBLIC RECORD. Everyone’s loan is public record, anyone can go to the recorder’s office and check it out for themselves.
So WHO is the top 100 attorney? If you had a top 100 attorney, why didn't you mention his name on your site? You think you would want to publicize the attorney’s name if in fact he saved Pat’s home and he was so good. I’m sure the attorney would have appreciated it. And you state Pat has helped over 50 other families. Where are their testimonies? Did they not get a settlement, a reduction in their interest, principal or change in their term? Or are you still stringing them along and paying the so-called paralegal fee...until the case settles in 10 years?
Homeowner Wendy Holbert is not stating she had a successful outcome. She stated she met with the sales rep and he sold her on the lie and paid $6, 247 for her forensic audit...1% of her loan amount. The outcome of his case was not reported on your site. She NEVER claims USLA helped reduce her payment, term, interest rate, etc. (definition of loan modification) or save her home. Her loan is public record.
Homeowners Adrian and Gloria Pillado just says that USLA filled out his paperwork. So what? Big deal! What paperwork was he referring to... USLA's contract. The outcome of his case was not reported on your site. He just allowed them to charge $6, 500, 1% of their loan amount for their forensic audit. Their loan is public record.
Homeowners Fred and Cookie Blomquist could've called the lender themselves and told them about their hardship, medical, income, etc. the lender would've done the same for them. They didn't have to pay $6, 500 for the forensic audit. 1% of $650, 000. His loan is public record and stated on your website.
Homeowner Jack Corry could've worked with his lender. Wachovia was one of the first lenders to modify the pick-a-pay loan. He could've done this on his own. His 1% is $3, 280. His loan is public record and stated on your website.
Just from the people that appeared on your website you collected in access of $22, 527; not including what you collected from Pat’s properties. This is an insane fee just for doing a forensic audit, that normally costs $500. Check it out people, you can call any forensic audit company and the most that we found was $500. And they charge for a forensic audit no matter how much your loan amount is and no matter how many properties you own. There’s no difference if it were a $90, 000 loan or $900, 000 loan, other companies charge a flat fee of $500.

None of the cases on your myuslegal site was a successful outcome. And it appears on your website as if there are several cases your fighting but if you closely they are duplicate cases. They were all dismissed for various reasons...attorney no show, no cause, etc. You are charging a monthly for this and wasting taxpayers dollars for these frivolous lawsuits. This is probably one of the most egregious cases of fraud in the Sacramento area. You people are unbelievable.

On the video, The attorney's name that Jim Lourim was referring to was John Stein. There are only 2 John Steins on the Cal Bar that are listed. One practices family law and the other does Trusts.
I spoke to each attorney myself. Neither one knows anything about USLA and has never done any work for them at all. Additionally, neither one is listed as a "Top 100 Attorney" in California or the Nation.
Jim Lourim has been working there for about 1 year and now he is a SENIOR FRAUD LOAN INVESTIGATOR?

We believe, this is the Jonathan Stein located in Elk Grove that's contracted with USLA. He is a personal injury attorney, not a Real Estate attorney. He was listed in the following article in Business Week. NOTICE THE DATE IS AUGUST 7, 2008, BEFORE USLA WAS BORN. USLA WENT INTO BUSINESS IN 2009.
So if this article is true. Mr. Stein was rated on his clients at the time...not clients that were given to him from MY US LEGAL.
We will contact Business Week and ask how Mr. Stein got this rating? And of course check out public records of his cases since January 2009. It will be interesting what we find in State and Federal records under his name. We will report back.

Greetings people I have been out there every day protesting against this company I would appreciate it if other people would come out and support what I am doing. I drive from auburn everyday. This company has tried everything they could think of to get rid of me except give me my money back as I have requested. They have called the police numerous times ---code enforcement--they served me with a no trespass so I went out on the street each and every day they bring that stupid looking green van up and try and block my sign. I get great exposure from the freeway and the street. Last thursday Jeff Pulvino approached me on the street and said he had a compromise offer to make me.
If I would stop prostesting he would continue my case at no charge except I would have to pay $250.00 per month to the attorney for misc. expenses. He said I had until tuesday to give him an answer and to e-mail him. I asked him what are you offering me? You don't pay the attorneys they work only on a contingency so what are you offering me? What is to prevent you from just putting my case on a shelf like most of your clients anyway?
He stated that he would never refund my money because it was a question of principals with him. I then asked him what about ethics, if by some miracle what this company was doing was legal certainly this was totally unethical. I told him I would e-mail him later and I did thursday at 4:30pm.
I made a compromise offer to his offer and that was keep $1, 000.00 for the audit and return to me $2, 000.00 and he had until tuesday to respond. I also explained to him that if he agreed I would sign a statement not to continue to protest and drop all complaints against his company. Of course he never responded to my 3 e-mails to him. During our conversation on thursday he stated to me you know I know the owner of the casino and I could have you kicked out.
My response was and your point is. He stated that he had $3, 000.00 in cash on him and if he wanted to he could just pay me then but because of his principals he would never ever return any money to me. I then suggested to him he look up the words principals and ethics because he had neither.
I am banking on this company's ego's because each and every person that does not sign up or continue to pay this company I win. If my money is not returned I will sue this company in small claims Court, I have no problem with that. You would think as smart as these guys claim to be they would have just refunded my $3, 000.00 . Apparently the only way to make this company understand is to hit them in the pocket book. I will continue to be out there until as I have stated in the past they either refund my money or the companyis no longer in business.
Donald, do you have first hand knowledge of this? Have you spoken with any of the attorneys? We would like to post the names of every attorney that contracted with MY US LEGAL. They are partly to blame because they are the attorneys. They are probably part of Sandison's cronies. See Sandison's license below.
Why would they take on a case..if they don't have the experience and there was no cause to begin with? Come on...they knew MY US LEGAL's goal was to help the attorney stall the process of the case before it went to court so MY US LEGAL can make as much as they can from the homeowner.
Basically, the attorneys stall the cases from going to court, while MY US LEAGL takes our money and let the lenders take our homes.
What a friggin scam? We need to revolt. We need to hold the Dept of Real Estate and the Bar accountable too. They are the agencies that were suppose to listen to our complaints, earlier on. The Bar oversees attorneys and Dept of Real Estate oversees 'LICENSED AND UNLICENSED REAL ESTATE' people. If these agencies did this last year, many more homeowners would not have fallen victims. SO ANGRY!
Neither Pulvino, nor Shane Barker are not Real Estate icensed in the state of CA to work with the public in regards to loan mods. Yes, Sandison has a Broker's license but that doesn't mean he's allowed to have unlicensed personnel doing loan mods under his watch. See his license below...Jeff and Shane are not listed under his license.
Furthermore, if you review the video testimonies of their clients www.usloanauditors.tv you will notice NOT ONE of them went to court. A few of them got their loans modified...KEY WORD "MODIFIED." So they do in fact, do loan modifications and according to SB94 IT'S AGAINST THE LAW TO CHARGE UPFRONT FEES.

I went by the protest today as I live nearby. I am green to this company and didn't know the protester until today. I will say the company is using rather intimidating tactics to discourage the protester from exercising his 1st amendment rights. They called the police for some alleged traffic collision, but the damage to the USLA employee vehicle was determined by the officers not to have been caused by the protester vehicle. Being a spectator, I'll say that the employees who were acting on the company's behalf thought they were intimidating me by taking my picture and such.
Anyway, I feel the protester is entitled to continue his effort, and our organization has initially offered some help to him via our website and some of our equipment

I drove by and wish that I could stop and talk to the protester, he was sitting in his truck surrounded by USLA, including the media guy, owners, and employees. Some that I know, others that I didn't recognize. I used to work for them, most of the employees don't know what is really going on. If they did, they would be finding another job like I did. They cannot blame you if anyone sees your sign and decides not to do business with them. Consumers have the right to do their due diligence on the company, including talking with other clients whether satisfied or not satisfied.
They have ADS ALL OVER California. They put themselves on billboards, commercials, radio ads, newspaper ads, mailers, solicitation by phone, they made themselves public.
If anyone was contacting by this company via a phone call, while your home was in foreclosure, you may want to call the DRE and AG ASAP. It's against the law to prey on homeowner's especially in foreclosure...
I have absolutely no faith in the Attorney General's office. None whatsoever. The AG's office is where claims of fraud, corruption, and similar things go to die a silent death, or be slowly strangled so there is no prosecution of the individuals. I am not saying that just as a reflection on Brown either. It's been several regimes. It's not the office holder in general, but the office itself. It may have had a noble purpose in the beginning, but it has morphed into something different and not serving the citizens of the state much anymore.
I don't know anything about the DRE, but hopefully it is not run like the contractors board, because if that's the case, it only serves the industry and the employees primarily, and only slightly the public.
Greetings whether or not the State Bar or AG does anything is one aspect. If by some miracle they are within the law what they are doing is totally unethical. Where I come from principals and ethics mean something. I will be out there until they either use some common sense and refund the $3, 000.00 to me. Or people will continue to find out how this company operates and it will hit them where it is most important, their bank account. Of course in these Audits that are performed especially in an arm option or pick a pay loan you will always find violations so there 100% money back guarantee if you decide not to move foward is worthless. To pay Thousands of dollars for an audit that costs them several hundred is unethical at best.

Local law enforcement arrested Edwin Hetherton and Peter Scalise for six counts each of real estate fraud and six counts each of identity theft as part of a two year Sacramento Police Department real estate fraud investigation.
Hetherton and Scalise worked together under Hethertons company, Azzure Financial, and neither of them were licensed with the Department of Real Estate. They were using another brokers license information without permission, under which they collected loan commissions. At least six fraudulent mortgage loans were facilitated by the two suspects, totaling over $2, 000, 000 Some of these loans ultimately defaulted.
Warrants were issued for both suspects. On June 9, 2010, Hetherton was arrested for his outstanding warrant by the Roseville Police Department. Later that day, Scalise turned himself into the El Dorado County Sheriffs Department.

A suspect in a nationwide mortgage fraud scheme who fled the country was caught at the Canadian border with $70, 000 stuffed in his cowboy boots and nearly $6, 000 worth of platinum, authorities said Wednesday.
Christopher J. Warren, 26, was arrested early Wednesday while entering the United States at Buffalo, N.Y. After he disappeared Feb. 3, Warren was charged with conspiracy, fraud and conducting a continuing financial crime.
If convicted, he faces life in prison.
Warren is the second of three fugitives to be caught in the ongoing fraud investigation of Loomis Wealth Solutions, a Roseville, Calif.-based investment company, and several related companies.
Court documents alleged they defrauded investors and mortgage companies of $100 million since 2006. The fraudulent deals involved 500 homes and condominiums in California, Florida, Nevada, Illinois, Colorado and Arizona, according to Internal Revenue Service affidavits.
Warren flew to Ireland on Feb. 3 on a chartered private jet, then traveled to Lebanon and Canada, acting U.S. Attorney Lawrence Brown said. U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents were on the lookout for him when he took a taxi from Toronto to the border at Buffalo.
Prosecutors said Warren had photocopies of assay certificates showing the weight and purity of $1.1 million worth of gold, but it was unclear if he actually had ownership of that gold. They earlier had said he was carrying $1 million in Swiss bank certificates.
Authorities believe Warren also had brought to Lebanon $4 million to $5 million in gold, which he had shown some of the flight crew, but that has not been recovered

On Friday when this whole ordeal was going on the owner of the company Jeff Pulvino was showing anybody on the street Mr. Jackson's audit, telling them that it was indeed Mr. Jackson's. Would'nt this be a breech of privacy? People are going to look at Mr. Pulvino and think what is this guy doing? Nobody in their right mind, after that, would even consider doing business with them. Afterall, would he walk up and down the street showing anybodys audit? I really hope that Mr. Jackson takes legal action agianst this company! I urge you to seek a Civil Rights Attorney. There are many firms based in Sacramento that handle this kind of harassment and privacy issues. They cannot do the things that they are doing and get away with it.

I'd like to add signs around the city, maybe have a vehicle parked on the Folsom Blvd or somewhere with a sign exposing this scam. Park one downtown in front of Jerry Brown's office. Have a protest in front of the AG's office. Maybe one in front of Barker's home or his parents.
