U.S. Truck 831314 in El Paso Texas at 12:07 pm on I10 west
The truck driver was driving recklessly, despite being able to see me in his side mirror. He forced his way, causing me to slam on my brakes and honk, as did others. He showed no concern and continued driving forward, even though there was no one in front of him in his lane. This took place on February 8, 2024 going West on i10 around 1207 pm in El Paso Texas.

Hit by a US Express truck
I was on my way home from work. The driver of the US Express truck was in the straight lane and I was in the turning lane. He attempted to make a turn without a signal and began pushing me out of the lane up on a curb. There was a truck behind us who began blowing their horn hoping to get his attention. The driver of the US Express truck took off and I pursued him while blowing my horn. This continued for about 3 minutes. I finally caught up with the driver and pulled in front of him. I walked up to his truck and he said the accident was my fault. When I advised him I was calling the police, he went around the traffic and drove off. I called 911 to file a report.

Truck #33329
8/1/2023 - Livingston, LA on Interstate 12 around 6:45PM. Driver of truck #33329 almost ran my husband and I into another semi. We are hauling live cattle. As he was impeding traffic in the left lane, we were in the middle lane. He turned his blinker on for maybe 1-2 seconds and started forcing himself into our lane. We had to attempt to go into the right lane, almost running another semi off of the road. We were barely able to make it through without being hit, or hitting the other truck next to us. Potentially killing us, our live cattle, and the driver next to us. Extreme safety risk! As we drove by him, he didn’t even know he had done anything wrong.
Desired outcome: Termination of driver, or extensive amounts of training to educate them on how to use their mirrors. Along with proper use of the left hand lane.
Nearly hit by distracted truck driver
Date: August 1st, 2023
Time: 8:10am - 8:20am (range)
Location: I-495 South (Just Past Exit 47)
Trailer #: 202262
Semi truck driver avoided debris in the road (uprooted bush) by changing lanes. I avoided the same debris by driving on the shoulder. After passing the road hazard, I ended up parallel to the US Xpress truck (#202262) who, without checking their blind spot, began merging into my lane. The driver was unresponsive to honking and headlight flashing.
I later was able to see the driver, who had headphones in while driving (which is illegal on it's own) and surmised that he could not hear my car horn because of his headphones. This driver is clearly a hazard on the road. This incident could have ended in loss of life had the road not been as clear as it was.
Desired outcome: The driver should be reminded that driving with headphones is illegal, and should be made aware that he is driving a deadly vehicle and he should treat it as such.
Driver of truck
Driving down W I-69 in Michigan, I was cut off very abruptly (in a construction zone no less), requiring me to slam on my brakes and almost rear end this semi in front of me. I was only going 62, so I'd hate to see what they were going because they were trying to pass another semi but it clearly stated not to in that area due to the construction. I don't know if the driver did not look or just didn't care if I was there because I had been coming up on his left side for a good amount of time where it was a line of traffic anyway in the left lane and he should have realized not to have gotten over anyway. Then after he moved back over in front of the semi he cut him off rather close I thought and decided to dart back over again to pass the semi that was now in front of him, almost hitting another passenger vehicle. I don't know what kind of training this guy has but obviously endangering other vehicles so he can play LeapFrog down the highway in a construction zone doesn't exactly seem like a great idea. I took pictures got his license plate number and his vehicle number. He flipped me off when I passed by him which was uncalled for.
Desired outcome: The driver be reprimanding for endangering other people and their vehicles.
Truck driver high beamed me blinding me to see the road
License Plate: 0413641
Truck Number: 004419
On May 4, 1994 around the time between 8:45-8:55 I was driving with 9 year old nephew (he’s the one who took the photos for me) when the driver was speeding up behind me and honked his horn wanting me to move over but I couldn’t because the driver on my right lane wasn’t letting me switch when all of a sudden they turned on their high beams blinding me and causing me to almost drive off the road. I tried moving out of their way but the the car to my right was still not letting me in and I didn’t want to slow down and get behind for fear of getting hit by the trucker considering how extremely close he was to me already and high much he was speeding up before getting behind me.
Desired outcome: I want the driver to be disciplined and punished accordingly to the crime so the driver doesn’t do anything like this again to another driver minding their business
Truck driver driving in a reckless maner
5/3/2023 This was on I85 in Greenville SC at about 8am. Driver # 202319 Tennessee license plate: 160530T Would not slow down to merge into I85 traffic. He just kept blowing his horn and merged into traffic causing me to almost hit another car to avoid being ran over by your driver. The driver would not slow down. Very reckless, this driver should fired before he kills someone!
Desired outcome: Driver termination!!
Driver almost killing my family and I
On March 4 my family and I barley escaped being completely smushed by a u.s xpress driver who was trying to get over in a lane he was not suppose to be in. I blew the horn several times trying to get the driver attention to no avail he continued to get over forcing me to have to slow and try to stop without being hit from behind by another car. The Tag of the truck that almost killed us number is U982249. This could have ended so badly with our lives being taken. I have a picture of the truck who forced his way into our lane as well.
Driver
The driver assaulted my mother who was parked out front of a Dollar General Store on 1/9/2023, in Wayne, WV, 25570. Name is unknown but the truck number is USDOT303024 / 05050. He failed to respond when confronted and closed the door on his truck and refused to apologize. I really do wish that the company will acknowledge this and help train their employees better so this cannot happen again, We are so lucky she didn't have a breakdown and need medical attention, however this has left her traumatized and will no doubt lead to further issues.
Desired outcome: This man needs to be held accountable for this my mother has a health condition that cannot put her under stress, and now she is afraid to leave her house due to this mans actions.
Driver
On 10/09/22 driving on 58 west near Franklin VA towards Euphoria at 3:00 PM driver of Truck #LP94579 with Trailer #811106 almost rear ended us he then got in the other lane then cut us off and we had to slam on brakes to avoid getting hit. We switched to the other lane and he cut us off again. He kept swerving from lane to lane so we couldn’t get around him. Finally he saw another vehicle coming up and got over so they could pass and we went behind that car so we could pass and as we were beside him he came into our lane and we had to go down the emergency lane to keep from getting hit
Desired outcome: Should loose his Class A License for erratic and dangerous driving as he could have killed us. I know about Class A due the person driving the car I was in is a Class A driver
Driver of truck #910083 US Xpress nearly colliding with me today.
Today, Wednesday September 7, 2022 just before 4:55pm I was driving eastbound in the passing lane on I-44 at about mile marker 171 just before the Jerome exit on my way home from a lengthy road trip for business. I was in the passing lane in the process of overtaking a tractor trailer and my car was about at the back axle of the trailer when the tractor trailer just drifted across the center line and then into the passing lane with no signal engaged. Thankfully I have very good brakes on my car that were working today. Let it be know that this location of I-44 is part of a stretch of I-44 that has countless accidents. Majority of those involving tractor trailers. I’m a strong, independent woman but a lot of women might have a hard time getting behind the wheel on the interstate again after todays experience. I took a photo of the back end of the trailer. The trailer number is 910083.
Desired outcome: Unsure of your policy and this individuals record or lack thereof. Individual refresher classes regarding safety. If this is the first offense. If not the first then maybe this person should not be allowed the privilege of a CDL.
Truck Driver Running Me Off Of The Road
On Friday , September 2 2022 , around 12pm on Route 2, Fremont Ohio . US Express driver with trailer #11624 ( Dollar General) . Driver of the semi wad not paying attention , or didn’t care, came over into my lane and ran me off the road causing me to swerve off the road to avoid getting hit . I ran off into the gravel about running in to the railing of the overpass ! My tires spun out and my brakes locked up .
*was* not wad
dangerous driver
At about 5:30pm, Sept 1/22, I81 VA ~MM240 one of your drivers ran me off the road. They came into my lane on top of me and didn't stop when I repeatedly hit my horn. I had to drive onto the median to avoid a collision. I got back on the road and caught up to them to take a picture of their plate and I saw them continue to drive recklessly by weaving through traffic and cutting off two other drivers. Both of which were forced to slam on their brakes and almost rear ended.
I have also filed a report with the police who said they were going to send troopers out to look for the truck but I don't know how that turned out since I stopped following them after that.
Plate number: Tennessee 157883T
Trailer number: 202201
Desired outcome: Better driver training
Dangerous Driver
While driving on i-4 towards Orlando on July 29th around 1:15 pm, a truck with TN plates #042187t, USDOT 303024 was driving extremely recklessly. He was tailing a number of small vehicles and switching lanes without caution to other vehicles. He ran MULTIPLE vehicles out of their lane, or he was going to hit them- us included! He was also visibly angry while driving. It was obvious that he was impatient, as he would switch lanes frequently- despite it being an extremely congested road.
Desired outcome: Please hold your drivers to a higher standard when driving. We respect truck drivers by not crowding them or cutting them off, and ask the same curtesy.
Irresponsible DANGEROUS Driver
Driver coming out of Parkway Blvd in Robert Louisiana RAN THE STOP SIGN sending me and another car sliding so we didn't die because we hit a wall at 55mph. That driver NEVER stopped or even slowed down. I do not know what it is going to take for Walmart DC to make that road difficult for drivers to race down but I guess it's going to cost someone their life at this point since NOTHING gets done. The trailer number he's pulling is 311046 and just happened in Robert Louisiana about 20 minutes ago. It took everything in me not to chase that driver down and let him know that by him running a stop sign, my family and I almost died! What is it going to take?!?!? PLEASE FIX THIS ONGOING ISSUE WITH THESE DRIVERS!
Desired outcome: Desired outcome? Really? My desire is to be able to drive past Parkway Blvd and have these trucks obey traffic laws and not have to decide in a split second if I want to take the truck out or the ditch out!
Driver complaint
I was driving on beltway 8 Houston Tx at around 5:07 pm when a semi trailer of u.s express inc started to merge while cars were still in the lane in the middle of traffic the other cars had no where else to merge and the semi driver kept merging and grazed 3- cars and even bent someones mirror they were all honking their horn as well i decided to stay back and witnessed this driver keep on driving and not stopping i did not get a tag number but the back of his semi had number #831898 . This is very unsafe and unprofessional of your company to have drivers that put many lives in danger because of reckless driving .

Your driver for truck 910512 TAG #

I drive behind him and as he pulled on W 4th St he pulled out in front of another car. Please handle this. I had my 2 month old baby in the car and this incident made me fear for our safety. Lease Operator Payment Program
My family member is a truck driver for US Express. He has been driving for the company for over two years, and he has experienced numerous issues with his truck, which appears to be a common issue with the US EXpress trucks. However, their truck goes to the shop at least once every two months for minor to major issues. Remaining in the shop for weeks at a time. As a lease opreator, payments are the driver's responsibility which is not the issue because they are aware and understand that, the issue is that at one point they was allowed to make payment arrangements on any past due truck payments when the truck was being serviced. However, due to a change in the company's policy, they now have to make a full weekly and regular payments, as well as a portion of their maintence fee.For the last three months, their family have been experiencing this situation. It is very stressful and hard for them to provide for their families due to the lease opreator policy changes without any notice, I don't believe a contract was even updated about the policy changes made. In addition, they have reached out to US Express regarding the financial stress of trying to make three payments and not receiving a physical check because all the money made goes directly to truck payments and maintenance fees.
Desired outcome: It is very important that the leasing company allow the drivers of their trucks to create payment arrangements or allow other types of payment alernatives on the trucks.
