First they show you 2 and three bedroom places and tell you that you can rent these for $199 a week and give you a paper showing other prices and that points can also be used to cut those prices. They promised to call 7-10 after January 1, 2020 when we made the purchase to give us the website and tell us how to make reservations. Jacqueline Holmes the Sales Manager called and I was at work, so I called her back. I told her no one had called. She said she would email our account number and have new member services call and give us the website and walk us through. Neither happened. I kept calling, I left a message, no one called, then I called again and finally got someone. This person was rude and acted like I was stupid and told me they would call me on the 30 days after the sale to give us information after everything cleared. Today is the 31st and still nothing, no account number, no websitee, but we have received a bill. We just want to cancel and be done with this company.
My advise to not listen to anything Sappire Resorts has to say and do not sign anything. Better yet DO NOT GO TO THEIR OFFICES FOR NOTHING! They are scammers and the Government should shut them down. Others said they haven't been able to use the service they say they have no vacancies.

GeoHoliday Vacation Club - Timeshare Fraud
I have owned real timeshare since 1990 and have had wonderful experience with it. I have a week of red time which means it's in high demand all year long. So, i know what timeshare is however, i was told i was getting a week in las vegas which everyone knows that las vegas is the #4 destination in the us. The sales folks lied and said you can will it deed it because you own that week. That was never ever the case you are buying points that are useless! And in my case they lease me points for 40 years and said it wasn't a lease. These people are trained to lie and be rude and hateful. They don't care about nothing but gettting you to sign that contact. So i sent in a cancelation letter and they swear they never received it! Wow and now they continue to harass me with these phone calls all day and night. I have read so many complaints against this company and i'm willing to help get a class action law suit against them so folks want lose their money to this fruad company. Everyone please stop paying them! Don't give these dishonest folks your money. They don't care about you and 5000 points is going to get you nothing! Beware don't do it! Don't ever sign nothing!
GeoHoliday Vacation Club - Scam can't use
Very true the complaint GEOHOLIDAY/ STARPOINT are nothing but scams. We fell for it as well and can't get them to buy it back. One week in Vegas every year, can't get there with GEO. May 2013 went on owner teach to use only to be told you have to buy more to use but you still can't get to Vegas with GEO.Well surprised got call to come for another owner teach how to use only for them to try sell us more because as Thad said you can't go anywhere with what they sold you in the first place. This Aug.2014 all Thad wanted is for us to buy more like I told him why would we buy more if we can't use what they sold us in the first place to go there and he keeps telling us on top even if we did buy its really hard to get Vegas. There should be a Law that these Timeshare places can't try to sell to people that have been drinking alcohol before these meeting, this was a bad wake up for us and just wanting them to hurry after being there for 5 hours. I can say had we not had a couple we would not of agree to buy that first visit. Because this doesn't work and there is no way it ever will I told Thad everything they said was a lie they should buy it back we want out of this now. Looking at the book we will never get to use Jockey Club with the point they sold us, why do we have to go through RCI and pay more too. This is nothing but a scam we want out.
GeoHoliday Vacation Club - Timeshare
We stayed at the MGM Grand when we went to Vegas. We decided to go for a stroll at Fremont Street around noon for lunch and we headed off for a walk we were approached by a guy who is offering a good sale ticket to a show and buffet for 2. First he approached as in a non threatening manner very friendly and he asked how long are we still staying in Vegas and offered to speak to another person sitting infront of a stall with all his albums of shows. Very organized and well practice presentation and they are used to this kind of approached and explainations are fast and if you don't catch it you will look stupid. We agreed to even pay $36./each for the show & buffet and really that's a good deal but after explaining we need to listen to a presentation a very short one then we will be given are ticket & buffet voucher. The worst part of this is when we were at the presentation all was easy, glamourous and friendly approached. I didn't even feel pressured during that time as presentation was designed with family approached in mind & when they were $10, 700 i replied right away NO, then another person went $1070 down & $202./mo didn't say any specifics like for the next 84 mos. with an interest of 21% . Everything has no specifics but the other guy who is a Notary Public just went on and on with all the paperworks and I didn't even pay attention bec he has a monotonous voice. The other guy who walked us to the parking garage even reminded us to put the paperworks in a safety deposit box. When your on vacation everything is so relaxed and i got bitten with a venom and i didn't even know it. When i first said No to $10700. they offered me a trip to Hawaii then the payment plan. I wasn't still saying yes and they won't even let you think even for a few seconds they're already offering another 3 night stay on them at the Jockey Club in Vegas good for the next year if i take the offer today plus the guy said but i must have your husbands hat (Bon Jovi). They were very friendly but everything they offered was a lie and after 30 days of on and off reading of all legal documents of about 500 pages i finally realize i can't cancel on the contract and there's really no savings and i'm not special because there's so many restrictions in using your points for a vacation and the maintenance fee is the killer. In any Timeshare presentation their are no specifics its all full of empty promises.
