Billing
Valley Veiw Medical Center in Bullhead. Az pretends to be all caring, but is anything but...
We got one bill, 1 bill only from them. We immediately paid it - before we even received the medical statement from our insurance, which you should NEVER do.
Then a month later received a notice from a collections agency we are part due.
NPAS, Inc from Louisville, Ky and their collections agent, are rude and VERY unhelpful.
We called as soon as we got their notice to verify whether Valley View Medical Center received our payment we sent in June. We do not want to double pay because it is nearly impossible to get refunded.
All the agent said was she could not tell us. We had to pay. We then asked who we can talk to to find out if our payment had been received and she said, "No one!"
And hung up on us...
What?
Guess they don't get many people calling wanting to confirm their bill before paying it.
Desired outcome: Find out if Valley View Medical Center in Bullheadcity Az has received our payment of June 5, 2021.
dr. shaker saad
My Husband (Jon K. Evans) was admitted into Valley View Medical Center for Breathing Problems on June 24-29, 2019 for Pneumonia and released. Dr. Shaker Saad told my Husband Jon Evans that he should go to a VA Hospital. Then the other incident was on September 10-12, 2019 my Husband Jon Evans was back in the hospital by Ambulance to Valley View Medical Center for Pneumonia plus Carbon Dioxide in his Blood. Dr. Shaker Saad's Bedside is manner beyond any of a So Called Dr. that I have ever seen. He told my husband that "What kind of con game are you Playing now" It has come to my knowledge that this Dr. Shaker Saad does not even have an office of Business. The nurses call him on a cell. I am going to Request that this Dr. be questioned on how he runs his business. My Name is Martha Jennifer Evans the Wife of Jon Kevin Evans. My husband was so upset over this Dr's bedside manner that it is just unexcuseable in any way.

Valley View Medical's billing department is incompetent. I am an Edison Co. retiree and have standard medicare with Blue Shield of California's medicare coordinated policy. After Medicare pays, the bill automatically goes to Blue Shield of California medicare coordinated. They cover the 20% copay for medicare. It's a simple process. The billing department billed both as primary insurance and created a quagmire. This resulted in them receiving much less from Blue Shield and the difference they billed to me. All they had to do was bill Medicare. At this point, you need a health care advocate to help you because, as a patient, you have no credibility.
