I purchased of Vanilla gift card for $100 from Walgreens. Upon opening the card it was literally missing the security code on the back. Walgreens refused to refund our money and suggested we call the Vanilla gift card line. We did as instructed and we're told after all kinds of information being requested personal information even a social security number that they would have to investigate it and look into it in order for us to receive our money back. It has now been one month and they are still in the process of investigating it but yet sent me a replacement card with a balance of zero on the card. I called again asking why a zero balance they were to have put the $100 back on there and it was stated to me that she would have to give this to the management team in order to find out what happened. Well nothing has happened they have told me to call back in 24 to 48 hours now two times for a resolution and so far nothing. I would like to file a complaint with who matters in a case like this as I have been ripped off for $100 and don't appreciate it.
