return policy and exchanges
I have placed a order with venus and really check sizes... Ok so i get my items and of course they are the wrong size! So then i thought ok i will do a exchange. I sent the items back. Now mind you i was getting the items for my vacation. Anyway i sent them back in one package they came in two different packages... Thinking that it was gonna be a easy process on getting the correct sizes. But it wasn't they put the exchange on my card and tried to charge it again which is completely stupid... So i do not recommend venus what so ever.. It is a ### backwards company in my book
poor quality and shady shipping return policy
Placed my first order with venus recently. Two of the items were such poor quality i sent them back. On the return shipping label if you are not exchanging... They charge you $6.95 for the shipping label... I was ok with that as i had gotten free shipping when originally sent, as i had spent over $100. Well they not only charged me the $6.95 for the return label, but an additional $7.95 for returning items and having the orginal order go to less than $100.00
What a bunch of ripoffs... I will be passing this information everywhere!
rude and nasty customer service
Ordered a bathing suit from venus online store and did not get it on time. Their customer service is extremely rude and every time i called to ask about the status of my order they were very nasty and sarcastic. They did not want to help me and they literally told me not to call! I only wanted to ask about my order and it was their responsibility to help their customer! I still haven't received my suit and they refuse to answer my questions! Never again i will order anything from these people!
horrible quality! items look nothing like pictures!
I've purchased two skirts from venus and when they arrived they looked nothing like pictures on their website! Their pictures are really beautiful and clothes look gorgeous, but when i received them and saw them in real life i was shocked! Quality was cheap, material was extremely thin and see through. After first wash one skirt just fell apart! Items looked really cute, but the quality was way off! Never again!
rude representative and manager
Ordered some venus products but never received a confirmation email. So i called their customer service and asked what was going on with my order. Their rep was very rude and impolite, so i asked for a manager. The manager was a total freak, he didn't even apologize for rep being rude and said they had more important things to do. I was also told not to call again, because they all were very busy. I'm so extremely disappointed and i've never expected something like that from such a reputable company!

I will never purchase anything from venus again and will never recommend them to anyone. I've made an order and paid over $400 and received a completely wrong order. There were some shoes that i didn't even order which cost me more in shipping and duty fees. I contacted their support and returned everything back. I was expecting to get a refund, but that never happened! Every time i call they claim they never received anything! They lied and stole my money! Absolutely terrible. Worst experience i've ever had! Avoid venus at all costs!
very poor customer service
I've ordered a bathing suit from venus online store in mid january. I was really excited about my purchase. I even got a confirmation email and was told that i would receive the product within 7-10 days. But weeks passed and my bathing suit never showed up. It is now march 1st and i still have not received anything! When i tried to contact venus customer service no one ever replied. They are ignoring me and i have no idea what to do. I have ordered from many sites and never had any problems. I'm very disappointed!
slow return process
I ordered some items from venus, but decided to return everything. So three weeks ago i returned two products and haven't received a refund yet. I got a message stating that the return was approved and refund would be provided within 7-14 business days. Three weeks already passed and still nothing. The reason i returned the products was poor quality. This is a sign of disrespect with the customer. Venus customer service is unprofessional and beyond ridiculous. I'm very disappointed with this company. I want to warn other ladies about how dishonest venus is. Don't order anything from them and save your money.
don't waste your money
I purchased some items, but decided to return them. Venus rep told that i need to pay $7 for the return label. I knew about that and wasn’t surprised when they charged my credit card. Later i noticed that they charged my card again and took additional $20 for who knows what. Well, the reason i returned everything was because every single item looked extremely cheap and everything i ordered was too small for me. I’m very disappointed with the quality and it is very sad that they took extra money from me without my permission. Shame on you venus! I will never order from them again.
poor quality
I wish i read the reviews about venus before placing an order. I ordered 7 dresses and 3 skirts from venus. I was so disappointed when my items finally arrived. Dresses and skirts looked nothing like the pictures in the catalogs. I never been so upset. Quality was horrible and clothing material was extremely cheap. When i ordered i expected something else, but not that trash. Venus catalogs are so beautiful and display very nice quality clothing. Thing i ordered looked very cute, that's the reason i decided to purchase. All my new clothing was unwearable. Everything just falls apart. I wish there products were as great as they look. One skirt had these huge pockets. But when i looked at the picture again, i noticed that there should not have been any pockets at all. Also, two dresses had some strange stains. That was disgusting. I think i will tell them to stop sending me catalogs, because i will not order from them anything again. A waste of money.
fraudulent activity during billing process
I ordered a dress for my relative in the USA, I am in the UK.
Well the first issue, their site has a field to select if the billing address is different, this I did as it was a birthday gift purchase.
Only after check out did the address come up as the same as the delivery address (the USA address)I immediately contacted them and was assured that this would be dealt with after chatting with an online agent named Fendi. And I requested an email confirmation that this was being done.
The following day I checked and it was the same - nothing was changed and no email confirmation received. I went into the change information area and changed this, thinking it would reflect immediately, this did not happen.I sent them an email complaint relating that the Billing Address is a London address and the Delivery address is a USA address.
This is the response I received: ''Good Morning, Thank you for your recent email. We apologize for any inconvenience. At this time, the order has not shipped. All International shipping information must be entered by a supervisor and not the chat representative. This information would have been hand written and submitted to a supervisor to complete the International shipping information. I am happy to take the information once again and resubmit to the appropriate supervisor.''
I emailed again stating that I do not require International Shipping and a gain repeated the issue, I have not received a response.I then went to chat with their online advisors where I repeated my issue again, and how irate I was and disappointed as this was my first time experience with this company.Lani - the advisor then stated that for international orders and shipping, I again told her it is not an international shipping it is being delivered to a USA address.
She then said to me that - and this is where I think this company is not secure and can be replicating customers credit/bank card details - she says to me I must provide her with the billing address again AND, provide her with the name of my bank, the address of my bankers, their telephone number and some other bank related number and they then have to call the bank and then call the deliver address to make verifications? They cannot authorise any payment until they make all those checks.
While talking to her I checked my bank account online and therein my pending transactions is VENUS.COM. REALLY...this is the first time in my online shopping that some one has requested all of this information.So if you needed all that info and you can't request funds until, why is there a payment request pending in my account and why is the billing address on their systems still the same as the delivery address?
I told her that is was sounding fraudulent and dodgy and I would like to cancel, she got very defensive and then stated I need your billing details again to clear it up and your bankers information otherwise can I go ahead and cancel and disconnect this call.I said to her please cancel my order.
Guess what my order is still NOT CANCELLED. I've sent them an email to this effect that they are basically doing fraud.
Still waiting on a response.

I will never buy from this page again! i bought 4 items from site they were all biger than true size so i returned them, used sticker and now i have refund 17$ less cus they charge for everythng, besiades clothes are not as that cute like on site the run really large and that is it, i will never ever ever buy from this store again! unfortunately they run a shady business
First of all they have awesome clothes. That being said unfortunately they run a shady business. I have ordered several times and The last time I got something, it had to be returned. They charge 9.95 shipping on the return and 6.95 to use their return label. So if you are returning an item worth 30.00 you will get a return of 13.10. Just because their product doesn't fit they aparently reserve the right to keep over half the refund. Go elsewhere!
I've ordered lots of clothes from them very good selection but half of everything I've gotten have been ruined it is poorly sewed together I've spent over$100 getting them fixed some are unfixable all the tags say do not dry clean this is cause so you would spent more $ on replacing ruined items.
I completely agree with Venus being a shady business. They did the same to me when I had to exchange a bottom for a smaller one. They don't say that their going to rip you off with shipping prices. So, I bought a $32.00 bottom and got charged $16.90 to exchange it. RIDICULOUS. HATE THIS COMPANY. NEVER WILL BUY FROM AGAIN.

I ordered over $200 worth of stuff a loooong time ago. In fact, three weeks ago and it hasn't arrived. I called several times asking what was going on, and they said since I'm in Canada sometimes it takes a while to get through at the border. I've ordered online from so many different places and never has a package taken so long to arrive. Shipping was expensive, and as far as I'm concerned putting the package on a donkey would be faster than the shipping method they use. There isn't even a tracking number so I can see what's going on. I was told it could be another three weeks til my package arrives! That's outrageous. Unless the items are beyond stupendous I will never order from here again!

"Right now I am having a poor experience with venus. I ordered some items and considering the cost, I was surprised that it took almost 2 weeks for my items to arrive. 3 out of 4 items did not look like the catalog and sizes were off. So I decided to exchange 2 and my exchanges still haven't been processed, plus being charged and exchange/return shipping fee is ridiculous. Customer service say it can take up to 10 business days! Then venus pls don't advertise that returns/exchanges are fast and easy! Basically, I ordered items 7/3 and will probably not get to use them till August, over a month later, because of how slow and inefficient this company is. Pls avoid them... will never Venus from here again."
excessive shipping charges
The company charges excessive fees for shipping. I purchased a bathing suit of very light material weight and was charged $9.95 for it to be shipped to me. I mistakenly used their return shipping label and was charged an additional $6.95 to ship it back. In the end, a $62.00 item cost me $16.90 (figure out that percentage!) in shipping and handling charge...
