customer service - lack of - no ticket information - no help
I paid £273 for ONE ticket for Phil Collins at Sheffield Arena on 24th Nov 2017 - I was not aware that there was not an actual ticket until i had paid the money by credit card. Apparently I have to meet a total stranger OUTSIDE the venue at the time of the event and they have to accompany me into the venue to collect the ticket? I then realised that I am unable to attend the event and I am unable to relist the ticket on Viagogo due to them NOT accepting their own proof of purchase! I do not have a ticket, I do not have a seat or row number -
I have only been given Upper Tier by them and yet I cannot relist the ticket WITHOUT this information!? I am going round in circles - I cannot get an y response via email from anyone at Viagogo aside from a standard response telling me nothing! No phone number and i called my credit card company thinking i had a guarantee by using that but oh no, they cannot raise a chargeback because apparently Viagogo do not do refunds? What on Earth am I to do> Just allow someone to rip me off for nearly £300? This is utter insanity! Is this legal? Why can't Capital One help me?
I am so stressed and so upset.
Please can someone help me? Even if i could get hold of the actual person who physically bought the original ticket?
tickets not given back.
My daughter bought 3 tickets for Sunday 10th September 2017 at Hyde PArk, London. She couldnt go so spoke to your company and sent them to Viagogo who agreed to try and sell them on her behalf. She posted them first class signed for on Thursday7th September. She spoke to your company on Friday 8th September who said they had received them and would try and sell them for her.
On Saturday she logged on and found they were not on for sale so she spoke to one of your staff who apologised and said they would list them immediately. They did not sell so my daughter spoke to your staff and said she was now going to go to the event and would like her tickets back. The viagogo staff said this wasnt a problem and sent her an email telling her to go to MBE Soho on 10/09/2017 between 9.30 and 12.00
She arrived and was told that they had not got her tickets, they had not received them and were not on your system and she could not go to the event.
I phoned your help desk to try and sort this out but was told unless I had the tracking number they could not help. My daughter and her friends were devastated that they were at your offices, as per your email, to be told they had no tickets.
I have got the email from your company telling her to go to your offices for the tickets, I also have proof of delivery and a signature from your company accepting the tickets.
I am giving your company SEVEN days to re-emburse the value of the tickets otherwise I am passing this on to my solictors with instructions to recover this amount, together with any costs incurred.
I await your reply.
Kind regards, Tracy Cannell

I ordered 2 tickets to see the Psychedelic Furs at the O2 forum Kentish Town, paying £182.95 to the viagogo website.
On 9th September I went to collect my tickets from the mbe building in soho, as shown below, the email instructed me to get there between 17:00-19:00. I arrived at approximately 18:00 to find the mailboxes closed and the opening times on the door showed that they closed at 16:00 on a Saturday, despite the email instructing me to arrive in between 5pm and 7pm
Due to this my tickets could not be collected and therefore resulting in me missing the concert.
I would like a refund as due to the viagogo company I could not attend the event.
Avoid at all costs
Obviously, they are scammers and use customers who don't read terms and policies. Shady business with customer service that doesn't really exist. If you want an assistance you better go to another place.
I think their company consists of maximum 5 people who change each other sometimes, they work in the smallest office in their district and it looks more like a basement than like a real office. That's what I think about them. Don't trust the and buy stuff from official places, if you don't want to be robbed.
ticket prices
I've recently brought some tickets for NOS primavera sound 2018 the tickets have come & they are 105 Euro each on the ticket, yet I've been charged over £350 for two. It's a joke. Also whilst purchasing these tickets I was told there was 1% of tickets left & that it's about to sell out. It's clearly false as over a month later you've still got tickets. I don't think it's right that you're pressuring people into buying tickets which over over the odds
ticket prices changing
We found 2 tickets for Barcelona vs Malaga for 130 euros each, we were ready to pay that amount so bought plane tickets while continuing with the ourchase of these game tickets, once i got to the final confirmation of the tickets the prices had gone up by 45 euros each! By that time we had plane tickets booked so went ahead and confirmed. The last time we'll ever use them.

unethical behaviour and overpayment
I googled The Russian ballet company to buy tickets and the first site that came up was Viagogo. I purchased 2 tickets for the ballets show in New Zealand. The premier seats were $135 each. I wanted good seats as they were for my Mums 80th birthday. I then had to pay $34 per ticket handling fee, plus $9 per ticket booking fee. I paid in total $354 . I received an email stating I could print off my tickets 2 weeks late. I did so and discovered I had tickets for $89 stall seating. I contacted the ticket company who said Viagogo are an un licensed sellar of this and any other events. I ended up paying $174 over the ticket price...what a scam. I am so angry and disappointed as it is my Mums 80th present. How are Google letting them advertise on their site...and how are they getting away with this?
rip off tickets
I recently went to see Miss Saigon at Birmingham Hippodrome (30/08/17)
I bought the tickets via your site and the cost was £88 each, I thought this was a little expensive as I know of people who paid alot less. My bill came in at £241.95
Payment Method: VISA: ************4004
Number of Tickets: 2
Price per Ticket: £88.00
Total Charge: £241.95
I then downloaded the tickets the day before and they were priced at £52.50 each and 2.63 transaction charge.
This is disgraceful I wouldn't mind but there was plenty of tickets left as the row we sat on had 6 seats free.
I have since looked up on line about Viagogo and noticed I am not the only one who has been ripped off in fact there is hundreds of complaints.
I look forward to hearing what you can do to refund me.
ed sheeran tickets
Hi, I have spent over £400 on tickets for Ed Sheeran in Amsterdam. I use your services often and I am extremely angry and disappointed. I have been informed that Ed Sheeran has announced that any tickets that are sold on any other site other than Twickets will not be valid and will not be let into his concert. I have booked my accomodation for Amsterdam already and now have to cancel all of this and loose even more money. I am not requesting but demanding that I am refunded for the full £489 that I have spent on these invalid tickets.
unethical behaviour
my partner booked x2 tickets for depeche mode concert 19/11/17 @ barclaycard arena, birmingham...cost £236.39...on receipt of tickets i saw that face value was £65 each (£130 total)...on checking other sites costs ranged from £140 - 180 ALL IN...ie a difference of between £56 - 96 LOWER...on querying my partner why she didnt look at other sites to check prices, she said that your system was very 'bullish' in making her buy there and then...ie 'only 2 tickets left'..etc etc..AND did not specify that extra charges would accrue until paying...Therefore i query what these extra charges are for and request a refund of a proportion of these excessive charges as i deem the whole buying procedure unethical...Anthony J Boyce...[protected]...ps i have phoned all the various tel no.s you give for cust service contact but canot get through to a human being!...order id = [protected]
unethical sale of concert tickets
I bought tickets for Paolo Conte's concert on 17th August 2017 to be held at the Royal Festival Hall on Nov 13th (Order ID: [protected]). I registered immediately on the Viagogo website that I requested a refund which was refused. (the reasons are irrelevant however the tickets were being sold at nearly 4 times their market value plus an enormous and unethical booking fee which is not made clear until the sale is nearly completed. To boot the ticker timer, forces you into completing the sale quickly - while informing you that the concert is nearly sold out, gives the number of tickets available. This is actually untrue as there were more tickets available than you are led to believe). I paid £205 per ticket (originally thinking that this was the price for 4 tickets) but then was not banking on the huge booking fee. When I requested the refund I was told that my only recourse was to resell the tickets on their site and that there was no charge to do this. This was patently untrue as when I listed the tickets on the site a 'sellers' fee was immediately applied amounting to over £100. There is of course also no guarantee that my tickets would sell.
In the Viagogo Ts and Cs it is stated that they do not give refunds however under the EU Consumer Directive a customer may withdraw from a service contract within 15 days from the date of its conclusion stating no reason. I did request to do this immediately therefore within the 15 days. I have been informed by the EU Consumer Directive now that I should communicate my wish to cancel the contract to VIAGOGO.AG of Switzerland through the contact form (which I did on the Viagogo website on the same day of purchase on 17th August), and file a dispute on the grounds of being charged for a cancelled purchase. EU Consumer Rights Directive applies to ordinary residents of EU, especially when the purchase was made throught a national domain, like .CO.UK, or .ES., or .IT.
Even though EUCRD provides that ticket sales can be final, it still applies to the case of Viagogo, because it is NOT, as it is explicitly claimed in their Terms and Conditions, a sale of a ticket, but rather a service that connects a buyer with a seller. A service one can withdraw from within 15 days from the date you have contracted it.
Furthermore the Viagogo website does not allow you to communicate your issues as the 'Help' menu only guides you towards the answers they want to give and there is no phone number to talk to anyone
tickets to george strait in las vegas
We live in the path of hurricane Harvey, got flooded in so we couldn't go see George Strait in Las Vegas. Tried to sell our tickets on their website, always came back undeliverable . So we are going through a natural disaster losing everything and they won't help at all. Will never think about using these heartless souls. They make sure you can't get a refund on tickets.
promised refund remains unpaid
Event : Don Giovani Teatro Alla Scala 3/06/2017
Order ID :8446785
Dec 2016 2 tickets for Galleria purchased for 349euros including VAT and booking fee.
I was then offered an upgrade
I was then told my tickets were not available but they are to be replaced by 2 tickets for the cheapest and worst visibility seats in the theatre (stool seating)
I was then told I could print out my original tickets for the Galleria but when printed they were for the inferior seats.
After paying for flights and a hotel we were turned away from La Scala because our tickets weren't valid.
Viagogo customer service agreed to refund my 349euros when contacted on our return from Milan.
My Viagogo account says I have been refunded but I haven't !
Viagogo has been holding my money since December 2016 and the whole experience has been extremely upsetting and costly.

not allowed to sell a ticket for concert
The concert is on 15th September in Hamburg and I and the ticket are in Germany so I want to resell the ticket but Viagogo don't allow me to do it, there is written the listing is undeliverable and the listing won't be shown on the official site . I want to sell this ticket because I bought other ticket for munich because is closer to me. they say this: Sorry! We can't guarantee delivery of your tickets in time for the event. Your listing will not appear on the website. BUT theres enough time to sell my ticket if they allow because like isaid am in germany right now so it would need few days not more than 3-5 not like from macedonia, few weeks. what goes on my nerves the most is that I can't be in contact with them imediately
ticket fraud
Completed transaction for concert tickets to alice cooper brisbane 2017 concert. Tickets are fake . Confirmed with ticketec office in townsville qld australia, No customer support at all from Viagogo complete scam site.Have seen many similar cases concerning Viagogo.Out come always the same, no refund or response from them, For such a large company they act like a two bit scammer from nigeria
Unethical behaviour
The issue that I have experienced was: The overall experience is very bad and frustrating
1. The ticket price listed on the website for nooran sisters concert was 67 gbp, but by the time total price was shown, I ended up paying jus under 200 gbp for two tickets
2, at each stage there was pressure, quite unnecessary and very aggressive. I was shown there are only one percent tickets left, which was not correct. There was unnecessary screens to show queues and price updates etc
3. When I have received the tickets the face value is shown at 30gbp, total rip off
4. I called the call center and they did not give me any process of how I can raise a complaint. They said the manager will call me, but nobody did
I would like a refund of all my money minus the cost of tickets
It occurred on: August 29th, 2017, Order ID - [protected]
Refund all the minus the face value of tickets
I look forward to your prompt response on this matter. As recommended by Trading Standards, I would like to keep a complete record of my case, so please reply back via this email account.
Yours faithfully,
Sanjeev Kumar

unethical practices
I ordered 3 Edinburgh Tatoo tickets. I paid a total of 623.54 USD for premium tickets To Viagogo. My order #[protected] was for 3 tickets with the face value of 47 Pounds. I'm willing to pay a service fee but twice the face value of the ticket is RIDICULOUS. The tactic of saying the tickets are selling out was used in the website and for someone that has bee to the Tatoo before, I felt this may be true. Because I had been to the Tatoo I thought I was going to be sitting in the "red seats" under the announcing booths. Row X middle of the row was far from the "red seats".
belgium grand prix tickets
Hi
I am trying to claim compensation on trying to sort out my WRONG Grand Prix tickets the day was Saturday 26th Aug 2017 when we booked for the Sunday race firstly we thought we were buying tickets £300 each only to be charged £600 per ticket. When we realised ticket was wrong we was asked to send back to seller took to post office to get it sent signed and tracked costing me £44.28 then after sending them back and primed seller would post to our hotel I get an email next day the seller has sold our tickets again more phone call to your company all in all £45 worth of calls. Although you then told me we could get another set of tickets but only somewhere near Grand Prix.after all we had been through we certainly did not want to chance going over there and they weren't there! We paid £14.81 on Grand Prix car park and eurotunnel £242.25 which we couldn't cancel as all this happened night before we went. I have proof of all these monies paid and therefore don't see why I can't claim back everything I've paid out for and it wasn't even my fault! Your financial dept have offered me 100 euro voucher after all we have been through why on earth would we book anything with you again. I do not think it unfair to ask for what I paid out for
Look forward to your speedy reply
