I complained on 02.09.2011 (Complaint no. [protected]) to the districutor of videocon & to the shopkeeper from whom tv was purchased, about my videocon colour tv purchased before three months. My videocon tv 21" has been dead from 01.09.2011 but no action has been taken so far. Mob. No. Of complaint engineer was sent to me on 03.09.2011 but nobody has reached at my home & the mob. No. Of engineer remains switched off. Kindly solve my problem.

I, have to bring to year notice as under
1) complaint No, - NAG [protected] dt. Second week of july 2011, directing contract engineer mr. Usuf No, [protected]. contact on phone to [protected] dt. 22.07. 11 Usuf engineer take in out kit of T.V 23.07.11 without reparing sent to work shop,
2) Complaint No. NAG [protected] directly contact shri Deshmukh mob No. [protected] not attended my call . Again I received phone from shri Deotale surveyor and enquired above T.V. repairing his Mob No. is [protected] but, he did not attended my call, .
3) After the gap of 17 days he brought the T.V. kit with having fault in it .Again I lodged complaint to call centre & the complaint No.was NAG [protected] on 24Aug 11& again I complaint No. NAG [protected] on 26Aug 2011 but I did not received any response .While reparing the fault by Usuf engineer T.V. he did not come until 5 days on 6th day he come & did not repair the T.V. and said that he will come on the evening but he did not come.
4)Again I complaint no.NAG2708110323, on dated 27/08/2011
5) I have not understood the message sent to me .Is seen by above the T.V. is not repaired satisfactoly within the proper time. I request you to repair the T.V. immediatly at my home as fast because of your bad service .I want your to send your technician .Please do not give me mentally trouble, every time I got only complaint no but my problem yet not solved..Thanking You,

I have purchased Videocon TV in November 2010. and it was dead in May 2011 in warranty period. I called the service centre and they send the engineer. He took two parts of TV and changed after 1 month. (Please Noted He Took 1 Month to replace the parts). after 15 days the TV has same problem. It is not working and in dead condition. I caplaint again to service centre but nobody is attended yet. I am approaching continuously to service centre and they are always saying that engineer will attend you soon. My complaint number is CHA [protected]. I again request you to replace the TV or repair it properly. My TV is in Warranty Period.

We got VideoconD2h at home. All the time, the online recharge website does not work properly and before recharging successfully, it deducts 2 or 3 times the money of the recharge amount. We recharged for 300 rupess and it got failed for first time, so the total amount deducted was 600 rs. At the top of everything, they cut the services on the due date but money will be deducted for those days too . If they cut the services, why would the money be deducted for those days too. Also, immediately after recharging, the services will n ot resume. The services may resume only after half a day or a day ..

The service of Videocon is very poor.. There is no range at my home. Whenever I complain company for unnecessary detection of balance, unnecessary subscription of cricket services without my permission without solving my problem they asked its your mistake.They are giving excuse every time and not doing there job, they are purely unprofessional and untrained. The database of company updated after one week due to this there is no provision for customer to know details about their recharges. Customer care staff poorly co-ordinate with their customers. The scheme which are written are not provided exactly, they write that you have local free messages, but when i send any message, my money get detected. I suggest to everybody that not to take service from Videocon ( Mobile services) and take strong action against them.

Its been more than 2 and a half months that we are following up on our Videocon konzerve washing machine serviced for the noise it was creating while spinning. But to our utter surprize, its still the same even after following up constantly with the service centre, the engineers and the distributor here and even sending the Machine to the service centre, problem persists. Infact, something new has cropped up every time an engineer had tried to check it.
The Machine is still in the guarantee period but i guess that only exists till they want to sell a product.
I was using fully automatic WM since 20 years. There after I purchase a new machine from music center Surat on 23/1/08, but it did not work satisfactorily and hence I started giving the complaint to your SURAT people how are looking after service . At last the above machine was returned during February 2009. As I was using the above machine since many years, I have decided to purchase the above machine having capacity of 7 to 8 KG. I am making inquiry before your SURAT staff as to when the WM of above capacity will be available it is a matter of great regret that nobody here in SURAT knows regarding the availability of the WM with above capacity.

I would like to inform you that we have purchased a Videcon Washing Machine- Multie /Maxie 6800 (model) on 21.05.2008 & its creating problem of water leakage after 6 months of purchase & has been repaired 4 times till date.

I have purchased 21incs ctv (usb support) from Sree Pirgal Electronics - [protected], Kukatpally, Hyderabad on 9th Oct 2010. At that time Dealer told me that if I purchase the set today as its Dushera, they will offer me 2 yrs additional company's warranty.
When I asked to write this thing on bill he said very politely that it's not needed Sir as they register the products being sold daily and there (company's website) they will update it.
Recently few days back a problem ocurred and when I reported the same to dealer he said that he has told abput 2yrs extra warranty on Picture tube, then after taking a pause for 20-30 seconds he promptly denied for any assitance on warranty terms, responded very rudely suddenly and dropped the call. He now says that he never commited such things. :(
I have tried to contact the company on this matter but didn't got any satisfactory response. They say that the product only contains one year warranty not three. I was planning to buy LG-CTV that day but this warranty deal only changed my mind, I trusted this dealer that time but I think I made a big mistake.
Company is cheating customers through there dealers. I have came to know from internal sources that Company uses inappropriate marketing strategies to push sales for their poor quality products through there dealers and these dealers make false promises/commitments to sell it. I want my product refund and the compensation.
Buying anything from Videocon is owner's risk. Company will not take care of it.

1. Outside unit out of order when delivered. It was changed in 8 days.
2. Swing motor out of order. Problem could not be identified. On 29th April 2010 it was replaced after paying Rs.450/- and making innumerable calls.
3. Now display unit NOT WORKING with the REMOTE.
When call are made there is much delay in attending the problem. After that the problem is not properly identified. It is a great harassment.

Poor after sale service
We bought Videocon Air Conditioner on April 20th. They told us that it will be installed the next day. I took the day off but they didn't come, and the installation took place the next day. We forgot about this quickly and were enjoying our purchase.
It didn't last long. We were happy with the purchase for a month until the AC stopped working. I submitted a complaint and was give a complaint number. They promised to come the next day. It's been 3 days and the issue is not resolved.
My ac is not working from last 10 days and after launching the complaints and lots of reminders nothing has been done so far. Moreover i was being told to get my ac repair from some private electrician.
Now im seeing the complaints. Why not before!just yesterday i have purchased videocon ac and still now facing the problem of installation. The rate differs from one to another dealer. Dealer received the whole amount and they are least bothered about installation. Beware!

Undue delay in installation
I, sandeep naik resident of andheri (E) bought videocon lcd d2h, model 3201 vide invoice no. 03-an08-10s1aouf 2 on saturday, 1st august 2010 from vijay sales, andheri (W), near shopper’s stop. I got the delivery of lcd on monday, 3rd august 2010 evening. While purchasing this lcd, I was told about installation of the same within 2 days of delivery.
On 4th august 2010, I called up vijay sales to check about the status on installation.in response, I was informed that someone from videocon will come within 2 days for installation. They also gave me videocon’s office & their call centre’s contact number. I called up videocon call center & registered a call (Ref. No. Mum0408100393). They also mentioned that this request should have come from vijay sales office.
Nobody turned up, neither received call from any body till 5th august 2010 end of the day. I, then called up twice to videocon call centre on 6th august 2010 to check on the status of my call. They only kept on mentioning that we have raised urgent request to videocon. I also called videocon’s office on the same day & again they said it will take 2 days. I then called up vijay sale’s head office number & spoke to the manager about my concerns. He took me in conference with the manager of vijay sales, andheri (W) branch. He promised me to take care of the situation & said we will take care of your request.
I was waiting for a follow-up call from some one from vijay sales, however it was a total disappointment. I then called up vijay sales office & they said person from videocon will come for installation. Again, nobody turned up on that day too.
On 6th august 2010, I got another surprise from videocon person saying I was contacting wrong videocon office & they asked me to log a call with videocon d2h support. This was really disgusting. I then called up vijay sales andheri (W) office again & was very loud while talking to them. They then promised me that someone will definitely come immediately for the installation. After 4 hours of waiting, nobody turned up as usual. I then called up vijay sales office & they gave me mobile number of a person responsible for the installation. I called up a person & he expressed his non-availability for that day & promising for the next day.
After 4 days of constant follow-up, I got a strong feeling that vijay sales is just not bothered about customer satisfaction, service & support. It also gave me a feeling that they did not take any initiative at all in coordinating for the installation. This is not the first instance for me with vijay sales’s service & support. I had similar experience a year back when I purchased lg washing machine.
Does vijay sales believe in after sales service & support?
Is vijay sales least bothered about customers once the product is sold as they have name in the market?
I am extremely disappointed with vijay sales after sales service & support.

I purchased a fully automatic videocon washing machine from Next store Lajpat Nagar in April 2008. The water outlet motor of my washing machine got damaged around 1st of January 2009 due to some reason and it can be replaced as it is covered under one year warranty. I complained about it and an engineer from the Videocon's service centre made a visit and he took away the motor with him for replacement. He assured me of returning within 3 to 4 days with the motor as it was not readily available with the service centre and it was to be procured from Aurangabad. Since then I have enquired nearly 20 times about the motor with that service centre. Every time when I call they tell me to lodge a fresh complaint and when I do so, an engineer visits me just to tell me that the motor has not come from Aurangabad and his duty is over because his call is considered as closed. I have asked the company how many days does it take for a product to reach Delhi from Aurangabad but they don’t have any answer. My new washing machine is lying non-functional for nearly last two months and no one has any solution.

This complaint is with reference to the videocon 29" CTV. it has a color patch on the left top corner. This was brought to the notice of the manager of the showroom and also a complaint was lodged to the service centre. The tech from the service centre came to our place and did a color caliberation. later again the same issue persisted also it worsened. The second time again complaint was lodged and the tech saw and said that the TV needs a replacement as there was some problem with the picture tube. This was informed to the manager of the showroom. Its already 10 days since this and there has been no response till now. Everyday since then v r approaching the showroom for the same reason. The customer service is very poor for a international company like this...
If we cant have its parts available in the market then why are they making such models
I have a Videocon 29 " colour TV which i bought nearly 5 years ago. Suddenly it is having some problems and because of that the picture on the tv screen gets distorted after 1 hour . I have spoken to technicians from videocon service center and they are unable to repair it as they say that the parts needed to fix the problem are not available in market as it a 5 year old tv. I dont agree with such comments as after investing so much on a tv, if we cant have its parts available in the market then why are they making such models.
I need some assistance on this issue as the problem is not getting fixed and i have to go for a new tv (definitely not VIDEOCON) inspite of already having one.

I bought a videocon tv from a local dealer on 14/8/09.from day 1 i had problem with its speakers and there is a yellow patch on the screen. logged a complaint on 17/8/09 but till date my problem has not been solve satisfactorily. i have personally visited n called many times the service center but to no avail. please do the needful as i am now mentally depressed with them.
This is with reference to my complaint no.DEL0708090127 lodged on 7th august 2009, i was told to attend the complaint within 24 hours.despite of repeated calls made by me nobody is bothered to attend the complaint yet. I had purchased one color television in 1998, under the money back scheme launched by videocon international limited. As per the scheme, I was to receive rs.12, 990 after expiry of 6 years from the date of the security deposit receipt dated 27/06/1998, i. E. On 27/6/2004.
In this connection, I had sent
A) the original security deposit receipt duly signed, and
B) copy of my passport as proof of (I) my identity and (Ii) signature verification
To m/s videocon international ltd., mumbai vide my letter dated june 7, 2004 under registered post on june 8, 2004.
As further advised by videocon international, I sent the following documents :
I) copy of ctv purchase invoice & customer - counterfoil of money back scheme
Ii) copy of the warranty card
Iii) copy of the pan card
However, despite sending all the relevant documents, the company is yet to refund the amount due to me. More than 8 months have elapsed and the company does not even respond to the reminders sent by me. My letter to the chairman of the company has also not elicited any response.
I have come across similar cases wherein the amount under the said scheme has not been paid to the customers.

Hope this information would be helpful in saving the many job aspiring innocent candidates. I expect your stern action against such emails in future.

I have purchased videocon split a. c. 'eco-chill' which is not working. it is in the warranty period. many complaints have already been lodged with the company. even various e-mails has been sent to mr. dhoot, ceo & m. d. of the company, but he did not respond to even once. so, what is the fun to purchase the a. c. from videocon. the officials at chandigarh branch are also careless people who do not bother to solve the grievances of the consumer rather have connived with the franchie office to mint the illegal money on the behest of mr. dhoot for their illegal gains.

picture tube problem
sir, i had purchased a color tv set from ur dealer GIRIAS Electronics Coimbatore Showroom on November 20th, the problem starts at the day one from purchase.. i took my television thrice to ur service center as well as showroom but Ur service engineer promised me that he will replace new television and further he will assist me with some help, , actually tis is what happened to my TV the picture tube is not working properly and tv often gets switched off automatically and often does not works properly! Ur service engineer said that he modified the picture tube and changed the system
sir u wont believe still the same problem occurs and ur service station guys criticizes us more and troubles much
