I had a really great time buying a used car from Volvo Cars Winston-Salem this week. And no, nobody told me to write this review. My salesperson was super nice, helpful, and knew a lot about the car we bought. Their Family First service plan and customer care plan is like nothing I've ever seen before. We were getting a car for my daughter, but my wife and I left feeling so happy with the deal we got that we both want to buy our next cars from there. I'm not kidding when I say this was the best car-buying experience I've ever had, anywhere. I hope I can find a way to tell the owner about how great our salesperson was and make sure they take good care of him - he was amazing.

I been thinkin bout buyin anotha Volvo for like 2 years now. But I been avoidin it cuz the car buyin experience wit my local dealer is just terrible. They act like they expect you to buy and they wanna sell it at their price. So I went to Volvo Cars Winston Salem instead. It was worth the hour and half drive from Charlotte. They were more competitive on the price and made the whole thing enjoyable. They gave me all the info I needed bout the car and its features. The whole place was friendly from the service area to when I picked up my car. I wanna give a shoutout to Abby and her team for makin it such a pleasant experience. It's rare to feel like a valued customer at a car dealership these days.

I recently bought a car from Volvo Cars Winston Salem and was disappointed to find out that it had been in a minor accident. I discovered this the day after I bought it through an autocheck report. The car had been sold at an auction with frame damage. I called the dealership on Monday and spoke to Dennis. He had the sales manager, Les, call me back. Les was very rude and hostile. I told him that I wanted them to take the car back because they didn't disclose the frame damage. He said that he didn't know about it and wouldn't take the car back. I threatened to file a complaint with the DMV theft bureau and ComplaintsBoard.com, but he didn't seem to care. Overall, I was disappointed with my experience at Volvo Cars Winston Salem.
This car place ain't no good
This car place ain't no good. They still ain't give me the title for the whip I paid cash for. They said the car was all good with a 200 point check, but it leaked fluids on my driveway. Then the fuel thing went bad and now the nav don't work. They lost the second key and gave me the wrong one. They also lost the mats and the new ones don't fit. They was supposed to transfer my tags but they didn't and I got pulled over for it. Don't waste your time here.

I went to Volvo Cars Winston Salem on June 9, just before they closed. I was interested in buying a car with certain features and told the salesman. I couldn't buy the car that day because it was too late. The salesman asked me to put a down payment on the car and I signed a form called "Acknowledgment Form" to show that I made the payment. Just before I left, I realized that the car didn't have a feature that I really wanted. I told the salesman right away, but he told me to "sleep on it." I sent an email that night saying I wasn't interested and called the next morning. The dealership won't give me my deposit back because they say the "Acknowledgment Form" was a contract and that it's non-refundable. But they didn't lose anything and I didn't get anything for my $2000.

I bought a used car from Volvo Cars Winston Salem on 11/11 for $25,500 with a check. After 30 days, our temporary tag expired and we still hadn't received the title. Our insurance company told us they couldn't match the title to the information we gave them, so we found out there was an issue with the title. They said they'd only cover the car temporarily as long as we had a valid 30 day tag. But if the car was totaled, they couldn't compensate us since there was no title. The dealership said there was a lien against the car from the previous owner, so the DMV was taking a long time to get us the title. They agreed to send us another 30 day tag, but it took almost 60 days and the issue still wasn't resolved. I met with the owner, Rob S Sr., and asked for a refund, but he told me to "get in line and wait." We tried to get help from an attorney, but the dealership wouldn't respond. It's been over 4 months and we still don't have the title. We're on our 4th 30 day tag and our insurance company told us to park the car. We just want the title or a refund.

I put down $2000 for a car that looked great in pictures and the salesperson said was in good condition. Drove 3.5 hours to buy it and found noticeable paint work and scratches on the passenger side. They didn't disclose this despite it being obvious. Contract says I can get a refund if the car isn't in promised condition. There were many scratches and paint work that wasn't visible in the website photos. The salesperson offered a facetime call, but this wouldn't have shown the poor paint work. The general manager only admitted to the poor paint work after I declined to buy the car. They either have incompetent staff or are intentionally deceiving customers. I can't trust this car or any other cars they offer. They were either hiding the truth to get our money or have incompetent staff.
