I finished my installments last month which was R665 even that installment I don't know where it was coming from because I finished my installments in April. And now I'm getting an sms saying I'm still owing R500 I've been overpaying you for months. Something is wrong here

I have made a payment to settle my account with Vodacom. I provided more than 21 for the paid up letter to be emailed to me as instructed by one of VVM reps. After 30 business days have passed I asked VVM where is my paid up letter. They directed me to deal with Vodacom directly as they no longer hold the account, yet I had a verbal and written agreement with VVM to make payment. It does not make sense as to why they would take payment and not provide me with the letter that we agreed upon. When I sent them an email asking them what is to stop me from going to ombudsman with how my file has been handled, i received the paid up letter same day. This made me feel extremely uneasy about continuing paying VVM for other accounts.
I asked VVM if I should rather deal with Game directly considering how badly they handled my Vodacom account and they stated it can take up to 7 business days to get a response. It has been more than 7 days and there is no response.
I have made multiple payments to VVM as agreed with VVM, but I feel uneasy in doing so as they seem dodgy as hell by passing the buck and dodging questions.
Desired outcome: I want an answer if I should pay VVM or Game directly, since VVM seems shady AF and I do not trust VVM in the slightest.
Account is being paid but VVM persists with calls
I am registered under Debt review and all accounts are receiving money - this VVM calls me at unusual times and demands that I confirm my ID number. They are useless and have been given emails from my Debt Counsellor but they still harass me every week.

Good morning I had an account with Edgar's that was handed over to vvm. In July 2020 I received a settlement letter from vvm and made the payment. It's almost one year later and I have not received any response with regards to a paid up letter

Makro account
I had a Makro account which was paid up in July 2020. In September 2020, this account was handed over to VVM attorneys and unknowingly I paid the account up again. When I called in in January 2021, requesting a paid up letter I was told on numerous occasions that the letter was sent through however it was not...maybe because the account was already paid up previously. I advised and sent through all the proof to both RCS group and VVM on numerous occasions requesting my refund of R4500 and have been pushed from pillar to post. I am promised call backs which never happens and most of the time my emails are ignored. I am given different stories and false information time and time again. Initially I was told that their client which is the RCS Group advised that no refund was due however after contacting RCS Group, they advised that a refund was due to me and instruction was given to VVM to refund me. Two and a half months later and this matter still has not been resolved and I am still being shoved around. I have reported this matter to the ombudsman and now I'm going to refer this matter to the council for debt collectors - i have had enough

I mistakenly paid an amount into their account because i previously had an account with them and it was loaded as a beneficiary.
I requested a refund a week ago with all instructed documentation advised by their consultants who know nothing about whats happening in the business.
I've tried to follow up on this refund because i have not recieved any feedback to my email, and yet the consultants say that they don't know i just need to wait for feedback. Now that is pathetic service.

You guys need to train your call center agents to talk more decently to customers as they are rude sometimes sarcastic and have no way of addressing clients. No one wants to talk to an unpleasant person on the phone. Also I don't see why they should call every day to tell people that are making payment that they need to pay yes its their job but its an irritating reminded that no one needs . not all of the are like that but a lot of them need better telephonic manners

Settlement letter & update on national inquiry
On the 30/11/2020 a sum of R3478.73 was debited from my account as arranged for the settlement of Makro account with the reference number:[protected].
I was not sent any settlement letter and the full amount is still appearing on credit beaurox. I phoned VVm and a very rude consultant instructed me to phone Makro because apparently there was no such account appearing on her side.
Kindly send me my proof of payment and update the credit beaurox(s)' status

I have been struggling with your call center agents that's giving us poor customer service and making empty promising. I paid off my wife's Jet store account in November 2019. We have been promised that we'll get paid up letter within 21days then that SLA expires. We follow up again and get promised 40days waiting period. This is all from December 2019 till to date nothing. On the 15 April 2020 I called and was given reference [protected] and Ticket#[protected] and was again promised to wait 21days by Zandile, Nokphila, Dipou and Gerald after several follow ups to date. Gerald was very rude and even hung up on me. PLZ SENT ME MY PAID UP LETTER SO THAT I CAN HAVE MY NAME UPDATED AT TRANSUNION.

On the 25th May 2020 at 12h48s I received a call from Goitsemang Malebo from MBD Attorneys and looking for a certain individual. I informed him that 'this is not her number' to which he replied ' I didn't ask you if it's her number' and dropped the phone. I complained to the next caller and was promised that Melisa Reddy, a supervisor would contact me.
I have received many other rude calls but this one takes the cake and I've tried calling the attorneys, sent email to VVM but nothing works.
I want someone to contact me and explain to me why this keeps happening and how are they fixing it.

They simply reply that you have been handed over and that you should refer to the contract as you never called.
I attach the so called contract and confirm that nowhere does it states that you need to call MTN and advise them that the contract is now finished.
All contracts come to an end and both parties are aware of the termination date thereof.
She has paid the full instalment for 24 months so you have no right to continue debiting her account and telling her that she did not call in.
According to us this contract was paid in full and is expired.
so stop forcing people to support you, you do not deliver a quality product and your customer service is poor, the above is an example of that.
So please stop calling and harassing her or I will published this on Social Media, Hello Peter, and report it to the NCA.
vvm cannot supply proof of their claims!!!
Since Monday 15 July 2019 I have been threatened to the point of harassment by VVM about an insignificant amount which according to them is due to Vodacom. On numerous occasions I have asked them for details (Invoices/Statements etc) but they refuse or don't have any documentation?
Are these people for real? Is this the way I am being treated by Vodacom after many years of being their loyal customer?
I simply ask proof of what they claim to be in debt...nothing more, nothing less.

3 weeks I have been trying to change my debit order date. 1st Call: Wednesday 25 July 2018: change my debit order date to the 5th(fifth) of each month, the male consultant did nothing. 2nd Call: Friday 27th July, sms I received stating my debit order will go of on the 31st July, the lady said she changed it but the debit order went of on the 31st July. 3rd August: Sms stating that my debit order will go of again on the 6th of August? 3rd Call: No luck, got a call this morning from a very clever, rude lady! She wanted to make sure VVM gets payment on the 15th! WTF!

Last week someone called my parents house phone and my mother answered it was a lady by the name of Nompumelelo. My mother then gave me her details when I did call a guy answered and I had given him my ID Number he then told me it was about my vodacom account. I haven't paid this account over two years as I am under debt review which I did email him proof off.
The next day my father called in to find out what the call is about and according to my knowledge with regards to the POPI act you are not allowed to give anyone a clients personal information without their consent. The person who spoke to my father gave him all the information about the account which is so unprofessional as they could have checked with me first as well as the statement and how much I owed.
They had also given him an email address as well. I had lost my job I could not afford all my accounts and therefore went under debt review which my parents are not aware off. My parents are old and don't need to be worrying about me. I requested that all correspondence with regards to my account should only be made to me and not to any third party I ask that you guys respect that. My father is a strict man so my brother had to lie and tell him that the account was paid up.
Please can you contact me on my cell phone for arrangements to make payments via a debit order and again anything that has to do with this account must only be communicated with me.
sabc tv license paid but not reflected
I paid my tv license in november 2017, after receiving the statement in september 2017. I pay my fees every year. However, this year, vvm have been harassing me by telephone and e-mail to pay the outstanding account. I have e-mailed my proof of payment to them and sabc but to no avail. I have doubled checked the account number used and the reference number and all is correct. The people at vvm do not listen and are not doing their jobs correctly, now they are charging me interest on an amount which was paid.
