Walgreens Prescriptition they won't mail

I have tried for over a week for Walgreen to send the Rx trelegy and they still haven't done it. I just talked to a pharmacist & he thinks that it my be because of the merger of Alliance & Walgreen. don't use Walgreen. This has happened before and instead of it being mailed to me I had to pick it up. This is not a good idea and is a waste of gas and time. I know others who use mail order for their prescriptions and have no problems. From what I am being told is that Walgreen is having problems since they merged with Alliance. It's a shame because I used that pharmacy for when I picked up, but it is not good to have the prescriptions sent to me.

Desired outcome: I have given up on Walgreen & am will use another pharmacist.

Walgreens Prescription overpay

I paid full price for a prescription, rx [protected] on 7/27/21. Then my insurance also paid. I was told I would receive a refund which I have not. I have spent several hours on the phone getting put on hold and being transferred from one department to another without satisfaction. I was given a case #[protected] by customer service and was told I would be contacted by the billing department, which I have not. My refund amount would be $244.99

Walgreens The wait is ridiculous

The amount of time waiting in line at the drive thru pharmacy is ridiculous. Been here an hour already. One car sat at the window for 25 minutes. I don't understand what the problem is. Shouldn't take that long to pick up and pay for a prescription. Terrible service. Inside not much better.
They need to seriously work on getting people through the line faster. Who has time to sit in line for an hour or more?

8/24/2021 Good morning, I contacted Walgreens in Freeport, NY to inquire about donations for a back to school drive my church would be conducting for children and families who have been impacted by covid. Walgreens COVID Vaccination

I had my first shot completed on 8/2 and the second one was schedule fo 8/23. My appointment was at 7:30, I arrived at 7:11 and check in by 7:14. At 7:35 I asked if I needed to reschedule, the answer was no the pharmacist will be with you soon. At 8:00 she indicated the pharmacist was drawing down the vaccination. However, the lobby not was fill with four others for vaccinations and three other for other various reasons. But the pharmacist had time stop interject if you don't have time to wait you can reschedule, I'm trying to do three jobs.This was my question I asked at 7:35. At 8:05 she administer the vaccination, and now says wait 10 to 15 minutes, why she had already indicated she did have time. I rather be home then have her keep an eye On me.

Walgreens Complaint against Pharmacist

Doctor called in a new emergency medication. I called to get directions. Not given! Sat on hold and finally Lady answered transferred to Pharmacist who said "Call in the morning because store is closing! OMG! NO, I said I want to start medicine now!" He actually told me to take them all If I want ! Said he didn't care! " I had to call the hospital for instructions.

WHY would I waste the ER time during Pandemic? It was the Idiot Pharmacist job! I found out he is a substitute and hope he gets fired! If I listened to the Stupid Pharmacist I would have ended up on the hospital. Telling me to take ALL the pills! You aren't" representing Asians "very well. I always thought they were brilliant!

The company has been notified directly by a Medicare agent and myself on a party line. They were informed that I was eligible and my insurance was active, along with my endocrinologist sending them a prescription directly to the mentioned pharmacy. Walgreens Service getting Medicatikn

8/18/2021 -Arrive about 2:30 for 2 medications. Waited about 20 minutes. I tell the Rep 2 Meds to pick up. She tells me only 1. I tell her impossible. The automated system called me Saturday or Sunday and asked me if I wanted to refill my Prescription and I said yes. Then called me back to say it was ready. I purposely waited 2-3 days because I "know how Walgreens is". She said she's putting in for the medication Now. You can't call and check on you medication because you just get a recording after 25-45 min.
JUST HORRIBLE.

On August 17, 2021, at 9:30 pm I called the pharmacy and was put on hold with a message that stated that there were 2 callers ahead of me. I stayed on hold and when it was finally my turn, the call was disconnected. I am assuming that this is because it was 10:01 pm and they closed. No problem. Walgreens Pharmacy

I would like to transfer all 18 monthly prescriptions to a different provider however I came across this post and I am doing my own research but would like to know if this is what your pharmacist's are doing to cancer patients? Please answer honestly!
Because of my brain disease & past cancer history, this answer is important! I know the laws and apparently either this pharmacist is uneducated or being a bully, both of which I do not want to do business with. Again… I am doing my own research so please, on your end, please be honest with the reason

A pharmacist should NOT be allowed to make a decision on how my mme is too much daily on a script! That is what the dr does and then it is creeped by insurance. If there is no insurance a phone call from or to the dr office can be a stipulation placed by a pharmacist however a patient waiting for much needed meds should not have to be screened by a pharmacist, until they go back to school for those extra letters, MD.

I was refused the vaccine. I was discriminated against. A couple of Middle Eastern young women had a horrible attitude being demeaning and condescending to me. I was just questioning why I should have fill up a form to get a vaccine. The young woman yelled at me being mean and condescending. Just turn around and walk away leaving me there. Another employee yelled at me too.

Walgreens Pharmacy

I have been a pharmacy customer for several years and I just changed to CVS. They never have my medication on time. They don't order it so I have to wait for the shipment to come in. This happened the last 4 months. Because it is a pain medication, they advise me that I cannot get a partial order or they will have to cancel it. I suffer from extreme pain from several illnesses including RA, Osteo-Arthritis, 2 recent hip & knee replacements, back problems, etc. The last 4 months my medication wasn't ordered and I was out of pills, so I had to wait 3 days after I was out for them to re-order. Another problem I had was that they told me my medication was ready to pick up and when I got there, they advised me that it was a day early and the woman told me they called my physician to see if it was ok to pick it up early. I would never have wanted this. Then my doctor thinks I am abusing them because I wanted to pick it up early when they were the ones that told me the medication was ready. There were 2 nice women that worked there but, with all the issues I had, nobody once apologized and even one said to me, "how can you not have any left?" How unbelievably nervy is that? Because I kept forgetting to tell my doctors to change my pharmacy, I had to keep having the same experience for 4 months of the last 5. So many bad experiences, I won't be getting my medications there and I won't be shopping at Walgreens anymore.

It doesn't matter what time of the day it is this is absolutely the worst pharmacy in my area. Slowest pharmacy I've ever been to kinda reminds you of going in a McDonald's drive thru line I will be changing my drop off place from now on.

Walgreens App coupons never applying to my orders

I take the time to go on the app a d select specific coupons and purchase these items and at checkout they never get applied and when I've mentioned it to the store they say that they can't do anything about it to contact customer service . I shop usually everyday to every other day and every time I select app coupons and they never are automatically applied like there suppose to . Just tonight I should've had a total of $10 taken off my order with $15 in rewards cash applied to my acct and not either of these were applied and this is the first time I've emailed to let u know bc this is a lot of money I keep losing especially to continue to keep shopping at Walgreens when I can go shop elsewhere so I'm hoping you guys will fix this and give me back my money snd apply my rewards to my acct. my email address is [protected]@live.com & name is Shea Schlander & phone number associated with acct is [protected]
