I'm really frustrated with WellMed right now
I'm really frustrated with WellMed right now. My doctor is away and nobody in the office can give me a refill on my pain meds. I'm going to run out over the weekend and I can't even contact the office directly without going through WellMed. When I start going through withdrawal, I'll have to go to the emergency room for help. And to make matters worse, my doctor won't be back until July!
I had an appt and was refused service cuz I didnt wanna take a Covid test
I had an appt and was refused service cuz I didnt wanna take a Covid test. I had no symptoms of Covid or a fever. They couldnt show any written policy showing I had to take a test to be seen. I was refused service. They was unprofessional and it is unconstitutional of my rights.
Wellmed is not good
Wellmed is not good. They don't have any real doctors, just a D.O. The people at the front desk were mean and they don't know anything about insurance. They tried to use the wrong insurance first instead of using ***. It seems like everyone there is new to working in a medical place. They lost two really good doctors and a great P.A. because of how they do things. This was my first and only time going there.
to WellMed again
to WellMed again.
WellMed is all about the money. They don't care about their patients. They want you to keep coming back every 3 months to get your money. You see a doctor for 2 minutes and they charge you $70 for an office visit. My other doctor would give me a 1-year prescription for my cholesterol medication, but WellMed won't. They want me to come in every 3 months and pay $70 to get a prescription. They're a big rip-off. I ain't going back to WellMed ever again.
WellMed took over my doctor's office and at first, I thought it was the government taking over
WellMed took over my doctor's office and at first, I thought it was the government taking over. Since then, things have gone downhill. I received a letter from WellMed saying they won't prescribe certain pain meds that I need for my back and joint pain. It seems like they're making doctors spineless and just want old people to die.
I'm really bummed out about the service I got from WellMed
I'm really bummed out about the service I got from WellMed. I've been trying to schedule an appointment with *** for a whole week now and nobody has called me back. Every time I call, they tell me that someone will get back to me in a few hours, but nobody ever does. It's hard to trust this doctor if they can't even return a phone call. Nobody deserves this kind of treatment. Review for: WELLMED AT *** HGT & NORTHERN HILLS
WellMed won't take patients without insurance, and even those with insurance get treated poorly, especially minorities
WellMed won't take patients without insurance, and even those with insurance get treated poorly, especially minorities. My appointments have been cancelled twice on the day of my visit. They've given me the runaround about my prescriptions, and the phone service is terrible (except for the nurses). They only accept a few insurance companies, which seems like insurance fraud. They're taking over all the medical centers in ***, and it's all about profit, not patient health. This is supposed to be a healthcare center, not a money-making scheme. Something needs to be done.
WellMed is a total waste of time
WellMed is a total waste of time. My head is numb and I can't move from my bed. They didn't fill my prescriptions and didn't answer my calls. I told the assistant and the doctor that I needed a refill, but they didn't listen. I emailed and called them twice, but they didn't respond until weeks later. When I asked for a z-pack, the doctor said okay and added one refill, but they never called it in. I feel like half of my head is dead and WellMed won't even answer the phone. I called them 20 times and was on hold for 30 minutes once. After being with them for 20 years, I'm done. I'm going to see a new doctor.
I went to WellMed for a checkup and to get my meds
I went to WellMed for a checkup and to get my meds. My doc was okay, but they made me do a weird test on my ankle that hurt like hell. They didn't even ask me if I had any problems with my foot before doing it. They said it was required by my insurance, but I called United healthcare and they said it wasn't. Weird, right?
Wellmed is a scam, they always try to avoid paying claims
Wellmed is a scam, they always try to avoid paying claims. They give virtual gift cards instead of paper checks, and even when I give them my correct address, they still manage to mess it up. I'm done with them and with *** altogether. The doctors don't get paid enough and now I have to deal with Wellmed's nonsense? Good luck to everyone still using ***, I'm out. The whole system is a sham, with incompetent nurse practitioners and midlevels. I feel bad for anyone who has paid into ***, when most of the money goes to fraud contractors and administrators like Wellmed, big pharma, and device manufacturers who bribe politicians. Enough is enough!
This place is a real nightmare
This place is a real nightmare. I'd give them zero stars if I could. They don't care about your health, only about money. They sent a letter saying they won't see you anymore if you don't have insurance through work. I've had the same doctor for 22 years, but they don't care about that. It's the only doctor's clinic in town, so if you want to use your insurance, you have to drive 20 miles or go to the *** and pay a $900 co-pay. They don't care about the elderly on *** either. They're just another company trying to make money. A friend of mine went there last week and said they have an armed security guard at the front door. You have to be on a list to get in, and if you have paperwork for the doctor, you have to leave it with the guard. I'm not leaving my medical information with an armed guard. I hope they sell out and disappear.

Read full review of WellMedI went to WellMed and it was pretty good
I went to WellMed and it was pretty good. They got a lot of doctors and nurses there and they all seem to know what they're doing. The place is clean and they got a lot of stuff to help you out. The only thing is that sometimes you gotta wait a while to see the doctor, but that's just how it is I guess. Overall, I'd recommend it if you need to see a doctor.
I've been trying to get off WellMed's mailing list for years now, but it seems like they just don't want to listen
I've been trying to get off WellMed's mailing list for years now, but it seems like they just don't want to listen. Every time I call, they tell me they're sending my request to their marketing department, but I never hear back. I've even tried emailing them through their website, but no one ever responds. It's been three years of this and I'm beyond frustrated. It's so annoying to keep getting their mail when I've asked them to stop. They keep telling me they've put me on their do not mail list, but clearly that's not the case.
