Dry food and old
I purchased a breakfast burrito this morning at 5:20 am waited almost 10 min. And came to work eating a old dried up breakfast taco and hash browns look like they where refried dark in color. I have stop the plenty of times and every time it’s getting bad. My first few visits where great you can tell everything was fresh. Buy now not the case. The burgers were undercooked and unsafe to eat
We ordered curbside at the Whataburger, store number 1112. The Store manager is Maria Castillo. Unfortunately, this location is known to undercook their burgers. Because of this, we have made a point to eat there. This allows them to replace the burger promptly. Today on 07-27-22, we ordered curbside, and once again to of our meals (with burgers) were undercooked. It was so disgusting. We tried to microwave the meat, but decided not to trust it. I phoned the restaurant location and spoke with the manager on duty, Johnny. I told him the issue and told him I was not happy with the fact I spent over $40.00 dollars and two of the meals are not edible. He just asked for details if the meat was red or just chewy. He did not seemed surprised at all. I no longer trust this location and be warned Whataburger consumers.
Desired outcome: I just want my money back not a meal replacement.

I just wanted to let the manager know they made a mistake, but the manager was unnecessarily defensive and rude before we even got to speak about the problem.
In this case, the manager escalated the situation that could have been just "sorry".
I called the manager because I get so mant wrong orders from this location
Desired outcome: Please refund. I would like an apology from an associate. I would appreciate a respond from company ASAP.

My family and I have enjoying visiting Whataburger throughout the past few years. We visit various locations at least 5 times a week. We love the burgers (especially your Avocado Bacon Burger !) and in the past, we have been happy with the customer service.I was craving a Whataburger Avocado Bacon Burger. While payday being days away & on a strict budget, I decided to still stop at the WhatAbuger with only a couple bucks to my name. I stopped at the restaurant located at 211 West Rd Houston, TX 77038 store 601 . I have been a loyal customer of your stores for the past years, I have time and again received great service at WhatAbuger which is one of the main reasons I return. But to my surprise, on the date of July 12, 2022 around 8:45 pm I was at the receiving end of some very poor service at your location and would like to inform you about it.
On the said date, I went through the drive thur to place a order . While headed to order my food I notice a homeless women with no shoes on her feet in 95 degree heat walking on concrete outside of the restaurant. So I asked her if it was ok to purchase her some shoes. I went to the ROSS store near & got her some shoes. After doing a great Deed & in a wonderful mood . I came back and proceeded ordering my food I was craving. I then waited patiently in the drive thru for about 21 minutes before I even got to the window to pay. Which the cashier forget to scan my app, but I manually entered the order. Once I received my food , I then headed home. While driving home (almost Home) I looked in the bag and noticed my order was incorrect. So I get back to the restaurant to tell them my order is wrong .. immediately the young lady who was working the window said “here is your order” ( it was on the counter for over 8minutes ) I asked the the manger on duty name Jazmine for the inconvenience and the fact I just wasted my gas & time if it was OK if I just keep the burgers since I had already touched on them & I knew they would have to discard them. Jazmine said very loud and rudely “NO” you will not get anything “ FREE” as if I am trying to steal a burger. I am a hard-working law-abiding American Citizen . I’m a loyal customer & not trying to get anything “FREE”. I was going to give a burger to the homeless lady I purchased the shoes for earlier and the other one to my son. A very embarrassing situation.Almost in tears ,I was appalled at such behavior,and have a good mind to take my business elsewhere. Instead of helping she snatched the bag out my hand which had about 6 unopened ketchups and a large stack of napkins. In today's economic roller coaster, A company can never keep cost down by having extremely poor customer service and making simple mistakes like this and trashing unused items that I could have removed from the bag. After waiting 5+ minutes and very nasty looks from Jazmine she decided to replace my Fries shoving the bag in my hand. My Food was cold and absolutely horrible.I ask her for GM name or corporate address/number and she stated she did not know any of the info and walked off. As if I wasn’t talking to her. I know that mistakes can happen, and I would be more likely to patronize your business in the future should you correct this mistake. I felt so humiliated, all over because I ask if I could keep the burger instead of throwing it away. I understand policy’s and rules . But to lack compassionate empathy,during these trying times is sickening to say the least. I request you to kindly investigate and take action against the staff on duty for their negligence and rude behavior.

Well I had been on the bus all day job searching and was on my way home but decided to stop at Whataburger to order me a meal with an offer that I received on my Whataburger app to buy a med fries and drink and get a patty melt for free but because I hadn't been home all day too charge my phone it died on me as soon as I got to the Whataburger restaurant, and I hadn't ate anything all day it was hot I had a headache and I was very hungry I know this is no one's concern but mine, but I feel real disrespected and first I was havering a bad day I was tired and hungry and I wanted to retrieve this offer I was given on my app and because my phone died and in order to get the meal I would have to have the offer scanned in the restaurant so I asked the cashier if she had a charger box I could use for a second to get access to my Whataburger app long enough to scan the promo offer and she's was nice enough to ask a few of the Whataburger team members of they could been kind enough to help me with that minor situation but they were all busy working which I understand completely so I thought maybe I could asked to talk to the manager and the cashier went to retrieve the manager Stefanie and I let her know my small obstacle and she basically tested need like I was a bigger that didn't deserve to be treated courteously, I asked her if there was a way I could get a little energy on my phone just long enough for me to even my promo code for the party melt meal, now I understand that if she couldn't she couldn't but that it wouldn't hurt to ask cause some people don't mind going the extra mile too help someone , and I love Whataburger I believe that you're good is the best by far., but like I said I understand if she didn't have the means to help me but it was the way she treated need that I was genuinely hurt and embarrassed by how she handled me, she made me feel like I was a homeless begger she mocked and made fun of me in front of all workers and customers, I was deeply hurt
Desired outcome: I would hope that she would be addressed about the matter and that it was unnecessary to have been so cruel to me, in hopes of her not treating anyone else in that manner, it was humiliating and it genuinely hurt and embarrassed me

An employee name Jessica chapa who works there wasn’t doing her job and only looks for trouble. She messed around with a married man and she needs to be fired. She has no idea what she caused in my marriage. Not sure how long it’s been a happening but she says she’s known my husband 3/4 years. My husband delivers bread there to what a burger and she isn’t the one who receives she just goes to work to screw around with married men.
Desired outcome: I don’t want an apology she shouldn’t work there who else know what other married man she will screw.

Here in Dallas the Whataburger on Buckner at Samuels Blvd is a very rude employee store no curtious service their dinning is closed in the mornings with no explanations why when I order my food it’s usually 30.00 dollars I have not been able order food for a month I don’t have a car so I depend on going inside which I have not been allowed to do so I will not trade with your stores anymore because of the treatment I have received thanks

Placed drive through order for the first time jus moved to Texas. A nice young person took the order and ask for name for the order. After placing my order I pulled up behind the person who was in front of me. Much later someone asked for the order name. He returned promptly with the correct order. He the said I was in line B should have been in line A for future knowledge. By the time I receive the food it cold. Fries are worthless cold. I was never told I need to be line A. I go to this location and having problems with the heavy set Hispanic manager and one of the older women. The attitudes are way off any other whataburger locations. When these two are on duty the order is always off. Today 5/28 845 am the dark skinned Hispanic woman made ugly faces and basically threw the food tray at my daughter.
Victoria had taken the order and had repeated so we know it was correctly entered into the system and receipt showed it. When order was delivered by this hispanic person it was wrong. She just threw it and walked away.
The female manager is the problem. She encourages bad behavior by not being a leader. When the other managers are working, there are no issues. She chases all male and non Hispanic managers and staff. Corporate needs to get franchise owner to Pay attention. He is almost never there especially on weekends.
Corporate needs to train. Lot of stuff is going out the backdoor. They are even rude to the delivery guy. If the manager is helping stuff walk out the back door and padding time cards, every one loses. This is racial issue also
Desired outcome: Remove the manager. I know it's hard to hire good people but this person has chased many good people like Cody and others. She is going to ruin Ashley. Leadership change is needed before a lawsuit happens

First: my name is steve walters... And I have been a regular customer of whataburger in houston and surrounding area. I have complained about your whataburger dr. Pepper shakes in the past. (no satisfaction has come from purchasing this beloved shake from any shake I have purchased since you started it back: january 2022... Even recently on a purchase.) but that is irrelevant as to why I am writing. This complaint is concerning a truck driver-18 wheeler. I'm going to make this short and 100% truth. I drive home on hw 59 to i45 every weeknight at the same time for years after work. Many times I have crossed paths with this 18 wheeler and noticed it pulling into the gulf freeway-near woodridge. I have seen it near the store unloading while I was in line at the drive in after work. So they do deliver at night around 10 pm. I have seen them at the store on i59 near edloe many times around that time as well. What occurred approx. A month ago (and a few weeks) or more, is inexcusable for any driver and needs to have their license revoked. I am not a perfect driver and I have driven in houston at all times for 40 plus years... And all over the us. Nothing prepared for the assault by vehicle that your delivery driver mad against me. I was well in a lane after coming on to i45. Your delivery driver was on my right side. I was near his rear backside of the trailer. Cars come up quick in this area and I wanted to go all the way to the left lane. There were too many cars coming. Meanwhile, I am still beside this 18 wheeler to my right. It is in the furthest right lane. I am slowly getting towards the mid-section of the trailer of this 18 wheeler. Plenty of time to see me, check mirrors, etc. The 18 wheeler puts on its left turn blinkers. That means he wants to change right into where i'm at. I would have to hit the brakes hard to stop or cut in front of someone to my left. And I mentioned that the cars to my left were coming up fast. They were very close. We travelled like that for about about 30 seconds... It seems. My solution (since the 18 wheeler didn't slow down to get in the lane it wanted in) was to begin to speed up and pass the truck. As soon as I was starting to go over past him, he came over with a vengeance. I was totally committed to my lane and had nowhere to go. His big truck immediately filled my lane with me in it. I am sure you can picture this for yourself. He should've ran over me. I was there long enough beside him to get a good picture. I have great reflexes and locked up my brakes and swerved left into oncoming traffic in my left lane. I am use to driving in houston, but no 18 wheeler has done this to me in my whole life or I wouldn't be here today. I should've been run over. It looked like the driver just didn't want to wait any longer to get into my lane. After, I wasn't killed by him, I sped up along the 18 wheeler and tried to get his attention. The driver was talking to someone and smiling. Then he turned and stared at me. I would love to tell the driver exactly what he did to me. It was practically vehicle assault. I thought it was an h.E. B. 18 wheeler because I saw red and black on the sides of the trailer and truck. For sure, I saw a red stripe running all alongside it. I wanted to meet up with the delivery driver to tell him what he just did. I was prepared to travel along with him to galveston if need be. I got in front of him when I went to get a better look at him. I continued driving and calming down, but I still wanted to let him know what he did. That should've killed me. Otherwise, I would have chalked it up to crazy houston drivers otherwise, but honestly it looked deliberate from where I was sitting. I thought someone should know and I just thought of this complaint board today, so i'm letting someone know. And I am taking a picture of this long writing, so if that driver hurts someone real bad... You know that you've been warned! And yes, that same truck turned off the freeway and went to the whataburger on i45 next to woodridge. I went to turned around when I saw him go in and went to talk to him. There were many cars going around the 18 wheeler and he was mostly in the store delivering the whole time. There were some of your workers helping cars that were outside to make their orders. There was quite a lot of people in the parking lot so I would not have cared to go up and talk to the guy. But he stayed in the store most of the time. I waited for a while to talk to him and then gave up. Based on the fact that i've seen this truck delivering before, I made a mental note that the next time I see it, I will be taking pictures of his driving and then alerting hpd or a high level manager within whataburger with the documentation I have. Why... Because sometimes people could get killed by the actions of careless and/or reckless drivers. And who holds people accountable for their real horrible actions. Actions which closely resemble vehicle assault. Please address this before someone gets hurt. I would not write this if I didn’t think it was an extremely dangerous move on the part of the driver.

The manager sounds high, laughing, repeating themselves, rude
Whataburger in Georgetown Texas on D. b. Woods next to McDonald’s manager asked me for my order. Then I got about half way through the first one and I was asked to repeat the order. After the manager, paused, asked me to start over, repeat myself, and then laughed at me while I was asking what their kids chicken pieces meal is called. I asked if the manager was high. He then started to scream through the microphone at me. Told me to get out their line, I AM THE MANAGER. I responded with you should never laugh at your customers. And if you take orders, lay off the pot so you can remember them and be professional at work. We will never shop at that Whataburger location again.

bad service
the Whataburger 1372 in Burleson tx was just changed over to a corporate store is what we were told when we talked to what looked like a manger blocking the drive thru. he at that time told us the store was closed but for the inconvenience gave us two coupons for free burgers. on 5-3-2022 we returned when we told the cashier that we had the coupons she acted like it bothered her. now this store has been Newley remolded not to long ago and they always got our orders right. this time they acted like they tried to screw it up and they did. asked for extra onion got extra mayo the tomatoes were yellow instead of red. ask for large fries got medium and they were hard. please tell me this will be a norm from now on

Being a native Texan I have enjoyed Whataburger my whole life. It’s been a treat to go to and enjoy some good food. I’m not one to complain but wanted to simply inform who ever it may concern how crappy the employees are here. They took 10 minutes to take my order and then proceeded to mess it up while giving me very old gravy. They close the inside dining 2 hours before it should close (based off the time on the outside of the restaurant) but then also gave tons of employees free food. I saw one lady who I know works here get multiple entrees and meals for less than 3$. I love what a burger and the franchise and clearly wanted to inform management how poorly this one is being ran by the employees:
