I purchased 5 pine trees in October. They arrived Dead. See pictures, Asked them to please replace. They said to send pictures, I sent pictures. Today they said they will give me in store credit (fine with me) But I need to send the dead ones back. I am not paying to send dead trees in the mail or I could send them COD I suppose. Not good customer service.

I ordered 20 plants online and it took TN Nursery over a month to ship. I only received half my order. When I called to notify TN of their error, it took another 3 weeks to ship, at a time when it was probably too hot to ship and the plants were poorly packed. Four of the plants died within a couple of weeks.
I notified TN y email on July 16, 2019 that four plants had died and I wanted a replacement. I was told I had to dig up the dead plants, ship them back at my own cost, and that I would be given a store credit! ...Just unbelievable! Poor customer service, inferior plants, and they are dishonest about their "guarantee." I would never purchase from TN nursery again. Buyer beware!

I ordered 3 items totaling $98.00. The blue wisteria bushes .. I received 2 dead sticks no roots, the pink mulchy grass I ordered I received small baggy of wet grass no roots about 10 and the for the ground cover mix, I receive clippings not rooted clipping but just clippings from some sort of shrubs.
When I contacted them, they asked me to send pictures, when I did they then said to read their return policy and that I will have to send back the bags of garden trash, use my own money and time to send back crap.
All I can say..is STAY AWAY FROM THE NURSERY SCAM ARTIST... TN Wholesale Nursery is NOT REPUTABLE! THEY ARE THIEVES AND LIARS!

I ordered $740 worth of trees and plants. They shipped me about 25% of my order, but because I didn't open the box within 24 hrs of shipment (A hidden clause on a back page of their website), they claimed that they were not liable. The trees I did receive all died fairly quickly. They took my money. Congrats! But I hope others don't fall for their scam.
I would think it important to immediately open the package and care for the plants.
10 elderberry plants
i ordered these shrubs in march of 2019 as bare root plants and order # is 5121 with a years warranty. when i received my plants there were buds and small leaves that were dried up so i called and Tammy said give them until May 1st which i did. i told her they were dried up with no moisture at all and she said they were guaranteed for 1 year so i gave them the time to come back. it was then i decided to check on their reviews and it was 60+ % negative so i was worried but gave the plants everything they needed to survive. they all died but maybe 1 which has a sprout directly off the root in just the last few days so i might have 1 that may live. the rest are dead with the outer bark peeling off yet i will continue to water as needed just in case for a few more weeks. there is no refund instead a in store credit and then you have to pay to ship the dead plants back so instead of wasting more money i decided to just lose my money and shipping. these plants were shipped with no moisture and buds/leaves already out so it was to late to ship as bare root. the warranty is a joke and they are rip offs who need to be reported.

I placed an order (order #26663) on Aug 9th 2018 to be shipped out fall (mid November). I received my 25 plants (plugs) 10 days later. I called them and they said it would be ok.. #1 I wasnt ready to plant in mid August- which we did- cause we had too. #2 I wanted them in the fall. #3 it was too hot to plant them. These plants come pulled from the ground in a baggy. I got them on sale with a coupon. I paid $41.25 total with shipping and all. I ordered 25 Pink muhly grass plugs. I have NOT one plant what so ever in my yard. They are all gone and dead. I have pictures of every thing and emails from the last 2 days. They want me to resend back all the dead plants. There are NO PLANTS they are dead and gone. I told them I can send back roots of something that is in the holes. Brittney said ok.. Needless to say I will only get credit back- then I have to reorder my plants.. I wanted and even exchange and she wont do it.. They are more expensive now- I had a $5 coupon. To ship the 25 plants/root it will cost me $14.95. Then to reorder them I pay the $8.95 shipping once again. For these 25 plugs I paid $32.29 and by the time I get done these will cost me a total of $72.15! That is shipping @ $8.95 2x, $14.95 shipping roots back, increase of price and no discount. I should get an even exchange.. I ordered $836 worth of trees from this company sunday 24 feb 2019 at 11:58 p.M. Mountain time. A few minutes after placing the order I got into my email to look at the order confirmation. I found a mistake so I got back online to correct it. When I typed tennessee wholesale nursery in my search engine all kinds of bad reviews and lawsuits against this company came up.in a panic I immeadiately called my cc company trying to stop the payment. I filed a dispute. The next morning monday 25 feb 2019 I called tennessee wholesale nursery (all 4 numbers) trying to get ahold of a human being (about 15 calls over 2 hours). When I finally got ahold of someone I said I wanted to cancel the order. They said they couldn't cancel the order because the trees were being dug. I said what! The trees aren't suppossed to be shipped until april. Please, please, please save yourself a ton of grief & do not order from this company.
My elderly step father just got scammed by them. Terrible company. Avoid like the plague! No cancellations if you read the reviews and change your mind. They don't care about ship dates: you request them, they ignore them.

dead hedges sent to me
Contacted this company late last year. They said they would ship out my 25 Bridal Wreath Spirea plantings in November and that they would be dormant until Spring. Note that it is now July 4, 2017. The plantings were all dead through spring. I re-contacted them months ago and for an upcharge and a new delivery fee, they shipped me 25 more. Yes, I followed all planting instructions to the letter. The new plants are also all dead with nothing sprouting on them and you cannot scratch the bark with a fingernail. I have contacted them within the last few days and asked for a full refund of the approximately $160.00 I have paid them so far. Their response was blunt and rude. They said they would not be giving me anymore free plants. I don't want anything free, I want live plants so I can have a privacy hedge. I let them know that if I don't receive a full refund, I will be posting negative comments about their customer service. Their response was that if the owner sees a response and it is a lie or false, he will sue me for liable. Nothing I have written here is false. It has been a horrible experience with this company, an embarrassment to me from my neighbors, and total lack of caring about customer service on the company's part. I even offered them to have the owner contact me over my issues if he/she is so concerned. I have heard nothing. i would never consider using this company again. What you do is your business.

On March 30 I ordered plants from Plants-Trees Nursery. The FAQ & the About Shipping link had the following statement
"Fast Shipping USPS
All orders ship within 7-10 days after they are placed. If you'd like to
order but not have plants shipped until a specific date, simply put in
comments section of order form when you'd like your plants
shipped. We will dig and ship the day requested"
I planned to be out of town several times in the last two weeks of April to the middle of May the date of shipment was important. I went ahead and placed an order for $42.13. On April 3 I ordered Justicia americana for my pond from the website. In the comments section I requested that if they had not shipped my other order could they ship them together. I sent a email on the 3rd asking about possibly combining the two orders and if I could get an idea for the ship date. I also mentioned a 15% coupon they sent by email for signing up that did not work even though it was supposed to be good for a week.
On April 4, 2017 I got a reply from Hollie:
"Hopefully another week or so. There are no shipping guarantees.
Just the month of April. So sorry I cannot get you an exact date.
Thanks"
Their website clearly stated they would ship within a certain time frame and in fact, they would accommodate a specific shipping date if requested. I called the company on the morning of April 6 and spoke to an employee named Julie. She could not tell me when my order would ship because, " they were running way behind schedule." She informed me they do not combine orders and the coupons they send are only good until the next day. At that time I asked to cancel my order and was informed they do not cancel orders, but the manager Susan could call me back. Never got a call so I called back & spoke with Tammy Sons, the owner. Right out of the box, she was rude, hostile, & defensive, she told me that..." under the link "One Year Guarantee" it states no refunds, no cancellations, and no ship date time frame is promised. Also If I am going to call & "raise cane" about a measly 1.50 off on a coupon she will give it to me." I asked why would you put your strict terms and conditions under a link that says, One Year Guarantee, instead of somewhere it would be easily seen by a customer. Then have information that directly contradicts it under the link for FAQ & shipping? Since it was impossible to speak with Ms Sons I got off the phone. Immediately I Googled this company and found bad reviews and complaints all over the internet & an F rating at the BBB describing exactly the same experience as mine & worse. At that point I sent her an email telling her she was one of the rudest people I have tried to do business with and canceling my order stating the reasons ie: the conflicting information on the website, all of the complaints, & her behavior. Her return email became increasingly hostile & bizarre. She sent me an email threatening to sue me if I contacted my credit card co. & for slander.

was a mis-truth. Then another tall tale arose when you you said your
going to be out of town.
Then from that you wanted a refund and didn’t want the plants. Why on
PLANET EARTH couldn’t you be Honest and tell the truth (and you’re
the only one committing libel actions here) and say “ I want a refund”.
If you’ve went so far to call your credit card company, ask them can we
legally deal with you now. All you had to do is tell the danged truth, now
had hard is that? You thought you were being clever when you called
your credit card company but I got some awakening for you. Out of all
these year’s I have NEVER had one charge back ruled in a
customer’s favor, ever. So If you’d acted right and decent, I could
helped you more. You honestly don’t know what
you want. Now, we will deal with the credit card company, by law we
must consider you obsoletes you’ve chosen them as a mediator. Also,
let me further say, It’s dangerous calling people liars, that could take
everything you own in a defamation lawsuit, especially since
I have your email ( I highlighted it below so you won't have to call me
to show you where it is) with your ip address proving you called us a
lair and we can prove nothing we said or done was or is a lie, that’s the
perfect recipe for committing a libel and defamation case. You can
also check in our small town of Altamont in the Grundy County Tn
General Sessions Court docket and see, we do not take being lied or or
de-famed lightly. All we want is to get past this and stop
communication. If it’s not, we will take action for it to stop otherwise.
I never screamed at this woman nor did I start out wanting a refund. But after speaking with Ms Sons and checking them out I did not want to do business with them. As for libel I found numerous negative reviews & complaints, 117 on just one site, as well ten (10) active websites/domains they state they are affiliated with Tennessee Wholesale Nursery. And in the last 10 years, a total of 15 different company names they have sold plants from the same address, under the Tennessee Wholesale Nursery affiliation. I have documentation of these facts as well as additional information that support my claims. I can provide screenshots from the site of the FAQ & shipping information that supports my claims This is on the site I bought on as well as most of the other active sites Tennessee Wholesale Nursery is DBA online. No reasonable person would look under a link located at the very bottom of the page, the last item in a footer, that says, “one year guarantee, ” to find the terms and conditions nor would a company put such strict conditions of sale in such a location unless it was to make it hard to find. The term guarantee is a promise or assurance, especially one in writing, that something is of specified quality, content, benefit, etc., or that it will perform satisfactorily for a given length of time ie: as in a money back guarantee. Ms Sons asked me, “You agreed to our terms of warranty, yet you want to make your own warranty. Will Walmart allow this?” My reply is, “If a company has a policy of no refunds, cancellations, or other strict terms, they are legally obligated to put it in plain site so a customer can easily see it prior to deciding whether or not to make a purchase. Especially if they have other assurances of prompt performance posted elsewhere. Now it comes to the rest of the problem.
My second order for the Justicia americana was not disputed the 17.00 with a different card company & since my husband could take care of it if I was not here I did not cancel. Yesterday I received notification the first order is shipping even though Ms Sons knows it is disputed and I do not want to do business with her company I sent her several emails saying it would be refused. She replied that it would shipped and if refused, returned to a dead mail address. Also she would take legal action if I contacted them again. I want my second order refunded and no more plants shipped to my address, they need to remove my email from any marketing so their emails from them will stop, my credit card dispute stands on the first order and the plants they will be returned if they actually shipped them after being canceled. Since there are numerous complaints about misidentified & poor quality product especially after a customer complaints about inaccurate information provided prior to the order, if I kept anything they send I have no confidence it will be the plants I ordered.

I ordered plants that were to ship at the end of October and were to be 4-5' tall upon arrival. Their website has a page dedicated to photos and descriptions of how the items will be packaged for safe shipping and how they will look upon arrival. I felt confident that I would receive a semblance of what I ordered and at the promised arrival time. About 1 month after my order was placed (received an email reciept of charges - but no order confirmation) and a few weeks after the end of October had come and gone, I left voicemails for the company. No reply. I finally emailed the company inquiring about my order (November 21) and said I had not received a call back, nor received my order, weeks after the promised date. I received an email reply with no acknowledgement of my concerns, stating the order should ship soon. I received the order November 27 (about a month after promised delivery date). The bare root shrubs arrived unprotected and unbraced, in an oversized thin cardboard box. They were bone dry and had one dry, thin piece of paper wrapped around the bases (they were bunched together) with no moisture, no protection and perhaps a tablespoon of dry, loose soil granules. This was not as advertised. One or 2 arrived DOA with zero roots. The others were dry twigs with a few wispy, young, fragile, stringy roots. Their website depicted lush, moist, soil encased plants with an abu, dance of healthy roots. I was also promised 4-5' tall plants. I measured and the tallest plant clocked in at 43" with the shortest in the 30" range. I contacted the company via email and expressed my dismay, including photos of the items and asked for a full refund. I received a short, terse reply that a refund was not going to happen and I could ship them back for store credit. I paid $96 for 5 bare, probably dead twigs that were not as advertised and arrived a month after promised date - why would I spend 16 bucks to return their twigs and get store credit to shop with them again? I replied that the only solution was to give me a full refund. I received a quick response that my only 2 options were to return for store credit or have them send new ones. Again, I do not want to do business with this company nor give them money. Not once did I receive an apology. or acknowledgement of their misrepresentauon, just short, unprofessional emails. Very bad experience.
I wish I would have read the reviews on this business prior to ordering from them. I ordered over 600$ worth of trees and bushes. They shipped them later than the stated date. Trees appeared to have come out of dormancy then died in shipping. Shipped in small thin box, not long enough for the 'sticks' bent inside it. Roots were dry. No green visible with scratch test. Dead on arrival. Followed planting instructions anyway. Sticks still dead. Total scam.

Company said that plant would grow in Ohio but several others have said otherwise. Did not receive any information on their cancellation policy. Says on website that they will not dig plant until the day specified in the comments section of the order. Tried to cancel order within 24 hours of order but they said they had already dug and shipped the plants. Pointed out that I did not want the plants until March 10th and had specified in comments section as instructed. They admitted they hadn't shipped yet but still said they had dug, even though they were not supposed to until March 10th (as specified on their website). TN Nursery refuse to refund my credit card money back and are still planning to ship. Also, it says that they have a BBB A+ rating on dandb.com but I see that they have a D on your website.
Asked for cancellation and refund and asked them not to ship trees and have informed them I will refuse the order. Contacted credit card and am currently disputing the charge.

ZERO STARS. Absolutely horrible business. Good Lord...reading these reviews...all so familiar. I experienced the exact same level of non-service as others here... just a different flavor. I basically had to threaten action for them to ship and when they did, I received dead plants with rocks and weeds and it was half of what I ordered.
The tone and anger from other reviewers is a constant... this is third world scammery and so blatant it's astounding. Please don't take my word for it.. google for yourself. It's incredible the sea of negative reviews they've received.
They've set their warranty and return policies set so it's a lose, lose situation for the consumer and it's their word against yours in the end. You might get your order if you hound them enough, but then if you finally do, it will be sub, sub par and then...welcome to the sucker club. Try and return something and you'll get a credit... You might even get to pay for return shipping... Great. Just what you want, another opportunity to get swindled... AND they ABSOLUTELY could care less whether you are satisfied or not and I think that's what really sets people off; certainly did me.
They've used different DBA's when they get too many negative reviews, they will spam you and offer discounts if you give them a positive review...go figure. They have even gone as far as litigation for negative reviews...

Ordered 10-Arborvitae-Emerald Green Pine Trees for privacy at my home, and received 10-lifeless spruce trees. I also ordered one redbud tree and it arrived dead. I requested the trees to be replaced. They responded: "We have the right to substitute the trees" I requested to speak to the supervisor: They responded: "Did you plan the trees? Thank you! It's clearly they don't care about the customer after you make a purchase. Therefore, my only alternative is to dispute the charge with the credit card and BBB.
I wish I had checked these reviews before I dealt with Tennessee Wholesale Nursery. I ordered 10 shrubs in early March 2019, received my order 6 weeks later only to discover it was the wrong order and what's more, everything in it was dead. I notified them, received the correct order a week later, but again, everything was dead. I no longer wanted anything to do with the company and asked for a refund. They insisted I had to send my order back at my own shipping expense. I did so, sent them the shipping receipt, and asked for my money back plus my return shipping expense. They issued me store credit for the amount I had paid them and refused to cover my return shipping cost. Since I'd never do business with them again, store credit is of no value to me. Why is this place still in business? Like others here, I'd give zero stars if that were an option.

They will not honor anything because they are not honorable.
Wish I had searched for reviews about this company before buying anything from them. Everything stated by others about this company is true. Hidden in their "warranty" page is clause that they can send you anything they want essentially. They claim equal or grater, but what I received was a common grass plant rather than the more expensive plant I ordered.
They will only offer store credit, but if you buy anything from them with such credit, you would have to keep in mind the substitution clause.
If you read their reviews and their reply across the net, it is painfully obvious that this "business" is just scamming people out of their money.
They took one customer to court for a review years ago (and lost) and have threatened people with ruining their credit by filing false unpaid debt claims and using collection agents to hunt them down and harass them. Both of these are violation of the law.
I m in Texas, I bought 25 pine tree and 25 ivy, they arrived in a cartboard with no case an no ground, just the roots, they all died in three days, they have no warranty.

TN Nursery’s business model reminds me a lot of that movie. They make their business appear legit by having a nice looking website. But when your shipment comes, it’s a lemon. Here’s what happened in my case. I ordered one tree. It was shipped wrapped in some burlap (no box) with a shipping label taped on. The tree had no roots. The root ball had been broken off before shipment and it was shipped as a stick. There were no roots at all in the package. So for my money, I received a dead stick.
I called and was instructed to email them pictures which I did. They answered that email saying that per their warranty policy I needed to send the product back to get credit for it. Pictures aren’t sufficient. So their business model is to mail out very poorly packaged garbage (it’s garbage so why package it nicely) knowing that the customer likely will not spend $10 to $20 of their own money to ship back that garbage in hopes that he gets a replacement (worth less than he paid for in shipping) that is not garbage.
“Don’t people need good trees. Can’t you sell good trees, Dad?” Why anyone would want to base a business where they have zero chance of a return customer is beyond me. I guess they think there is an endless supply of people that they can fool once with their website. Then when they’ve burned all those bridges, start the business under a new name.
I wasn't sent what I ordered, quantity or value. I called to correct the situation 3 times. I was told my order was being shipped. I never received it. After I sent multiple emails, I was finally responded to. They said I should send back the wrong plants. This was 2 months after they were shipped to me and they refused to pay for shipping even though it was their error. I tried to reason with them and work out a solution. I was told to call back and get the person on the phone that told me they shipped. Horrible to deal with.
