I reciently received a number of phone calls from men, claiming to be from a company, winners inernational. They advised me that I had won a sweepstakes lotto, and was entitled to a large sum of money. They said to keep it confidential, so that know one would try to rob me. Funny, it was them who was trying to rob me. They were very persistant, and called me for a few days, before I started screening my phone calles. If you recieve any phone calls like this, it is a scam, also check out td financial for the latest scam, which I also recieved a few days after the phone calls. They want you to wire / money gram them money, to cover, insurance, or state taxes on the supposed money that you have won. They assure you that you will recieve your money immediately after paying. Don't do it, it's a scam.
Yes, we have been receiving calls from this company Winners international also stating we won 5million dollars. 1st man we spoke to was Mike Washington also AKA Tony Washington, Phone [protected] we believe it’s a cell phone. Another man called David Robinson, and his cell is [protected], stating what we won. When I started asking question he told me to claim office in Las Vegas at [protected]. Well these numbers due work but nobody answers. Then 10 minutes later they call back. Please whatever you do
Don’t give any information is a SCAM! Be aware save yourself some heart ache and tell them you have turned their number over to the police and FBI they won’t call any more.

i just got off the phone with these people expectting a routting number and so on they gave me the phone number of [protected] asking for 350.00 up front if any one has any comment please respond
These men have been calling me for the last four days. The first number was from Jamaica [protected], and the second number was a cell number from California [protected]. The first man got rude and offensive with me after I called him on his scam (repeatedly yelling "f-you!" after I told him I'd be calling the cops). But that didn't deter them apparently. They just keep calling. Now I'm screening my calls.
Would like to share my story. I am a sensible person but at this time I was having alot of trouble. Money wise. I wasd called and told that I have won 2.5 million dollars and all I had to do was send 580.00 to a person in Montego bay Jamaica. His name was Terrion Sterling. So (stupid) me sent off the money and texted Mr Charles Gordon from Winners International. That was 18 months ago and alot of money later I still have not recieved anything. Meanwhile I lost my home . My 2005 F15o 4x4. pickup. Just recently I had the idea to check them out and found all of these stories, but none with these names. I know I can never get thjese funds bnack or my truck but I just hope people read this and do not be stupid like me. The total lose is 65 thousand. Lock these people up. His number is [protected]. Call him and wish him luck in JAIL.
I have received same kind of call today from Mr. Michael Williams from Winners International Company in Las Vegas. Apparently I won 2.5 million and need to send $353 to some one named Robert Booher via Western Union. Right after that, I have to call Robert Booher and give him the receipt number. Once done, I will get a 2.5 million dollars - tax free - money to my door step. The only way I can collect the money is by showing the receipt as the proof that I am actually the winner. I knew it was a scam, but got all the details to understand how these guys are running the scam. Wow ... what a shame ? Sharing this with you all. Hope this will help.
Guy called my husband claiming we would be receiving a delivery today at 3 pm and he was making sure we were going to be home. I called them back and gave them a fake name, they told me they had called me to tell me I had won $375k cashiers check, $275k in cash, a 2010 mercedes (its 2011 for pete's sake) and a gift basket with a 42" plasma tv. I strung the guy along for over 15 minutes - told him I would go right away to the Western Union to wire the $375 processing fee. I kept him going until I asked if it would be a problem that I was a Federal Interal Revenue agent. I think he [censored] his pants!
Mr. John Green just phoned to tell me I am a winner of $2, 500, 000.00 from Winners International. Prize Number 665L. His phone number is [protected]. And, was I over 65 and an American citizen. No account of what I might have done or why I was selected. But, I was to send them $499.00 ( stated as 4 - 9- 9 ) by loading the funds onto a green.moneypak reloadable debit card, purchased from a CVS store. He is going to call me back in a few hours to get the debit card number. Once he get it, he will transmit the cheque for 2.5 million $ to me to be delivered by a FedEx employee. Of course he will. No doubt in my mind. I hope he is holding his breath.
My father got a call from Kingston, JM phone #[protected]. Winners International. They told him he had won 825k. All they needed was 99.00 so UPS could deliver the winners package. Sent Western Union. Sounded funny to me so I checked it out online. It brought me here. They said wire the money to Fabian Montique, #2 Mable Close, Spanish Town, St. Catherine, Jamica W.I. As soon I told him that he (he said his name was Monroe phone #[protected]) was being recorded he hung up. I am glad I was here to help my dad. Don't fall for this scam. Tony
Haha yea just got off the phone with "BRUCE" who said he was from the Gold Rush Casino that i won 1.5 million...sounded too good to be true and it was once i googled it. He was getting pushy and told me not to waste his time, then asked if i was religous for no reason..weird...then gave me the option to donate my winnings to a charity which i said sure to and he hung up :-D they must have gotten a lil smarter though cause my number was a Las Vegas number [protected]
I just received a call from "John Washington" at Winners International telling me I won some money, but said he couldn't tell me how much until I verified it with my "voucher numbers". He said I would've entered a sweekstakes somewhere. Of course I do not have any voucher numbers! He told me to call him back when I found them. At first a lady called me from a restricted number and told me I had to call Mr. Washington within 5 minutes. His number was [protected]. Be on the lookout for these scam artists! People like this make me sick!
my poor father had this happen to him, this guy "David roberts called, saying he won millions of dollars plus a car. all he had to do was go and sign for a pick up from a fed ex company, well needless to say my dad ended the conversation with, if you could just delete me from your call log i would not like to receive calls from this company anymore. they said no problem. a week later they called our house again at almost 10:00pm i said why are you calling so late, they told me their shift didnt start till 7:00pm. after listening to the same convo he had with my father i called up my father and told him, the guy called me right back after being off the phone with him for 3 mins. i said look we are not interested please dont call back. well in the am we got another phone call and i said look " we talked to you last night and do not want anything to do with this, and he hung up on me, so i called him right back and said look you call my house 1 more time and i will have the cops involved, , well for this so called professional company they chose alot of nasty words to call me. I ended up calling the police right after! the police said not to pick this call up anymore that it was a foreign # and they could not get through because it required a credit card! SO PLEASE BEAWARE THIS IS A SCAM! the names given were David roberts and john washington phone number is [protected]!
AKA John Washington, Michael Williams and Robert Booher, David Robinson, etc at Winner's International have been calling us daily for 2 years. He is rude and uses obscenity when you do not respond to his scam. Last number left was [protected]. DO NOT RESPOND. My elderly father-in- law has received 2 of these checks and the bank has warned him that he could get arrested for passing fraud checks should he try cashing or depositing them any longer. I am going to try reporting them to IC3@www.IC3.gov. These people go way beyond harassment. I hope you do not get caught up in their scam. They will NEVER leave you alone. It is awful. Tulelake, CA 5/13/11
i have already made a complaint to IC3 a few days ago. we stopped getting calls from the the number i reported now we are getting a number from los angeles, CA. [protected]. its not hard to see that these people are scamming. if they are so well known for scamming why can't they be caught? im sick of phone calls from WInner International!
I recieved a check today(5/7/09) from the winners co. inc. The check has a Mrs. Winners logo in the top left-hand corner with an address from Atlanta GA beside the logo. The check is for 4, 775 dollars and the letter with the check says i, ve won 250 thousand. this check is to pay the applicable taxes of 2, 950. It claims that i will receive the balance after the taxes are paid. the letter said to not cash the check until i called. I called and gave the claim # to a claim agent and she then said that I could go to the bank and cash it and then call her back. I did not go yet. What is the deal here?
Sounds like a scam. Did you buy a chance in order to win? Are you supposed to give them a receipts for the taxes paid? Whether you pay your taxes or not is not up to them. If you still want to deposit the check, do not withdraw any of the money until the check is actually cleared. It may take a couple of weeks to find out if it is bogus. Ask your bank. If you withdraw the money, you will be on the hook for it.
I received a call from David Washington stating he was from Winners International (Jamaica Call [protected]. Stating I won a substantial prize & when would I be home for delivery. He had called & left a message 5 days ago stating I won a prize of $1.5 million & left a number to call back, but it cut out, so you couldn't hear it. (We thought it was a friend playing a joke). So, when we got another call today, I was suspicious, he said my prize would be delivered by UPS & a lawyer. I asked where he got my info & he said I filled out a coupon somewhere. (I never fill out coupons/forms & give my correct phone#). He said he would email me with all of the information to verify, because I said I wanted to see it. He then planned a time to call me back after I received it & viewed it. I went to my computer & googled "Winners International" and came upon many complaints. He happened to call me back a couple minutes later to verify my email address again, I told him I saw the multiple complaints online & that I was going to call the authorities. And, guess what? He hung it. Please do not fall for THIS IS A SCAM!
lThis is a scam if you get a call from Winners International DO NOT send any Money you will be Ripped off
I would just like to share my story. I got a call from stephen "Corti", I won the useal 2.5 million and a mecerdas 2011, LOL it was to be delivered to me as soon as i pay the 599, they were even gonin to give me a break for the courier charges and just charge me 399, he called me 3 times trying to push me into doing this. He also told me that the courier would stay with the check until the check was verified at the bank. I have recently found out that because a check could be good today dont make it good tomorrow and if you use that money, you may have to pay that back. I have not got to that part of the scam yet. I will keep you posted.
My parents received a call from this... Winners International: A Mr. James Carter at 916/723-1342 asking for me. When I tried to call them so I can mess with them and get what info to possibly file a law suit against. The phone number came w/ this mess. **Could not complete the call as dialed...**, 1:15pm Pac Time, 6/14/2011
I was hoping to talk to them. HOWEVER! remember if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is.
these numbers are forgien numbers, , , becareful when caling back any of these numbers, they could charge your phone company! i would immediatly set up a trace on your phone, i have and they still call even though we tell them we are not interested. so far we have had winners internation, publisure international, and the latest one was united states treasuary, all sound jamican and all with different numbers each time they call, , and also chnaging the prize each time they call, i told them oh my prize amount went up from the last time you all called? and they pretend like they dont know anything. our police department is aware and have been tracing all the calls which have been dozens in the past 2 months. so beware do not call them back you could get charged for the foregin calls!
Ok I just got off the phone with this sucker and told him to call me back just so I could google him and his number. 4.7mil keep it to yourself he said I laughed and said ok his number now Is [protected] I told him to cAll me back and if he really wants that 2 hundred and something dollars take it from the check I got college to pay for lol
I got a call today about noon, but didn’t answer it in time and the answer machine picked it up. My caller ID said it came from [protected] in Kingston, JM. When I called the # a man with a Jamaican accent answered but he wanted to know my name to which I simply said he should know since he called me 1st. He said he’d check and call me back. When he called back 3 minutes later, the called ID said it was from [protected] but no location this time. He said he’s with Winner’s International and that I had won a $2million and a Mercedes. He said I should have received a phone call last week and a letter in the mail to that effect last week, but now I had only 3 days to reply whether I wanted to collect my winnings. He said I was automatically entered when I purchased something last month with my credit card. He didn’t know which one, BTW. He said his name is “Mark Yoger” and I was to call # [protected] if I had any questions. When I received the prize validation form, I would sign it and along with my $199 processing fee receipt I would present it to the prize delivery folks. He’d accept a personal check (with my bank acct, address and signature on it), a Western Union Moneygram (take the money and run), or a credit card payment (he’d then have my credit card #, exp date, and 3 digits validation code so he can then charge as much as he wanted). Since I told him I had no email, he’d fax the form to my email and then I’d have to send everything to “Kajorn Jamieson, Kingston, Jamaica”. At this point I couldn’t take it any more so I called him out on it and told him to find another fool to trick. BTW, he never did fax that “document” to my efax#. Humm.
I received about 50 calls in the past week saying I had won a whopping 9.2 million dollars and that I would. Receive the check tax free from. Donald Trump himself, oh. Joy, anyways all I had to do was send them a check of 400 dollars! Isn't that a deal! They said it was to pay off the shipping and handling? Well I sent them a check canceled it and later had the guys call me wondering why I canceled the check before they could cash it. Wellitold them "oh silly me of course I'll trust a complete stranger with my money. I recorded all their calls sent it to the police and now they are looking in to it.
These people tried to take me today, offering millions and a Mercedes Benz. I knew from the start it was a scam. They wanted $990.00 sent by Western Union. I told him to call back later. In the meantime, I contacted the BBB & did a personal search.
They should have to suffer consequences!
Today I was promised millions and a Mercedes Benz. I have less than $100 total & might soon lose my home.
I knew right away it was a scam. I told him to call me in a few hours. In the meantime, I called the BBB & did a personal search where I came across this. He did call back & was insistent trying to convince me. I told him I knew what he was up to & I had nothing more to say, then I hung up on him.
It is a shame that these people will probably get away with it.
I just received a call from a Bill Cooper with a very heavy foreign accent, he said he was from Brazil and had come to this country to start a new life. He told me he was from Winners International with the phone number of [protected]. He wanted me to send him $1000. cash by Western Union for 1% of the taxes of the $3.5 million dollars and a new Mercedes. After a long conversation with Bill I told him this was a scam and he should be ashamed of himself for trying to take advantage of an old person. I hung up, he called back and said I could send only $500. LOL...I told him to send the money and the car and the balloons to my home and I would give him his $1000. He said oh no he could loose his job, I told him I would give him a million and he wouldn't have to work there. He laughed and then he said they worked with the FBI and he could not get arrested. He said he would call back in a few days when I thought about it, I said I have thought about it and he had better not call here again that he should just send me my winning..., .., What a joke...I hope no one sends them any money...I was to send the money to a.
Mr. Howard Blackmon
713 Southwestern 2nd Place

My father received a phone call today and was told he won 2.5 million and all he needed to do was send in $200. My mother called me to come and talk to the man. Not only did the man get upset he was livid. He cussed me using language that was so foul I would never repeat
it and called my dad "stupid". This is about the 15th call that they have received about winning money and having to send them money to receive it. THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS! Please everyone contact the authorities and report this. They prey on the elderly members of our society and should be arrested and and made accountable for there actions.
I also have received numerous phone call from "Winners International" over the past 2 weeks. I just tell them not to all and hang up. There is no sweepstakes in the world thast charges you $750.00 to claim your prize. When you in a sweepstakes prize you pay your own taxes. THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM DON'T BE FOOLED

Sorry to hear that you took their call; because, unfortunately, now he will harrass you beyond belief. Police urge that people do not even answer their call. Just watch caller ID for numbers mentioned in earlier comments. I might also suggest an air horn that is VERY LOUD. Best solution I have for now. :)
I just got it too! the call back number they gave me was [protected]... Its all bogus. I'm a cop and I checked it out.
I just received a call saying I won $50, 000 just from shopping at local stores such as Target and Wal Mart.I never fill out anything not eve a credit card application when I go to stores so of course I am skeptical. As the guy was giving me the info I was checking it online. They do their research in the area where a person lives before calling apparently but funny thing is I moved out of the state. You guys should have heard the hesitation in his voice when I told him that I moved over a thousand miles away.I told him I searched their so called company online and it was a scam. This guy kept saying do not listen to that it is not real.I have experienced someone trying to scamme before so I had my eyes and ears open this time.It is just sad how far people will go to scam someone. He said the IRS would be involved but then said I had to get a money pack for $299 and send it to them.My words were get the f*** out of here.Needless to say I said enough to get them to stop calling.I hope no one falls for this. The economy is bad enough without others assisting with it from far away.
I got a call last night around 10:00 pm and could not believe these jerks were calling me again and so late. About two months ago they called everyday and sometimes 3 or 4 times a day. One day the call 12 times in an hour. I called the police and they said there was nothing they could do. So I called my phone service carry and they told me to change my number. So I went to Walmart and bought an air horn. Now everytime they call, I hold the phone as close as I can to the air horn and blow it for about 30 seconds. It seems to help, cuz now they only call about once a month. Maybe after blowing out their ears a few more times they will get the message. By the way the police seemed to think the air horn was a good idea. If can't afford an air horn, then get a loud wistle. We will then show these ### SCAMMERS whose in charge.
I was just called out of the blue saying I won 5 million from Los Vegas (08/14/2011 by a person she called herself Peter White and said I only could call back on a cell phone [protected]). She also said I would have to pay $88 to a money pack and give the man deliving the money tomorrow the tracking no: or I could come to Los Vegas. This is a scam maybe they are lowing the amount you pay so you won't think it is a scam and what is 88 dollars to lose. Well 88 dollar from 1 Million people is 88 million. So please do not fall for this scam. I live in Oregon
try scammer guard, they help with these situations... scammerguard.com
I just got this call but now he is using MegaMillions as his ploy .. "B.S.! Then I fond this post from Facebook dated 8/04/11... I just want to let everyone know there is a lottery scam going on. A Dave Foster at [protected] just called me and said that I won 2.5 million dollars and a 52 inch plasma TV, but I had to pay him $500.00 delivery fee first, he said my winnings was from the Mega Millions...
This dude is working hard!
My mom has been receiving these calls for about 2 weeks now! Their calling private now and while we were listening on speaker phone just now we heard kids in the back ground, so my mom says uummm didnt I just hear some kids so how are you at an office. He states oh that was the television, we laughed like yea ok! Today Mr. Bookman called then mysteriously Mr. Kevin Moore called stating he was from the I.R.S and that they had record of a check and this and that, eventually we hung up the phone please tell me why he called again I answered and hung up he had the gall to call back two more times! Last week it was John Carter, John Davis, and Joseph Sgavo. **************************WINNERS INTERNATIONAL WON'T BE GETTING MY MOMS MONEY! THE HELL WITH THAT 2011 MERCEDES AND THAT SO CALLED 2.5 MILLION SHE HAS TO PAY TO GET, WE THINK NOT...*********************************
Oh yea I forgot Mr. Bookman said their based out of Lay City, Illinois (NO... SUCH... CITY... IDIOTS)
Was this "gentleman's" name Jason jackson. Cause I had a similar call today
I just received a call from "gold rush international" and the guy on the phone told me that I had won 500k and a free trip for 2 to orlando, fla.
He then proceeded to tell me that i was supposed to receive a package in the mail yesterday... that's funny, because where i live, there's no mail delivery OR courier delivery on weekends. I told him that i work for a Fraud detection group for a major bank in Canada (which i actually do) and that what they're doing is a scam, and they were going to be reported... he swore up and down that it was not a scam, and that i won because i used my Mastercard at my local CVS (don't have that where i live) then it was Walgreens (again, don't have those where i live) then it was Wal-Mart... i stopped him right there asking him to provide my Mastercard security number on the back (I don't actually have a Mastercard) AND HE TRIED TO MAKE ONE UP! these people are very persistent, and unprofessional and it's really easy to tell that it's a scam. PLEASE BE CAREFUL!... THIS IS SIMPLY AN ATTEMPT TO LAUNDER MONEY. ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE ELDERLY PARENTS/GRANDPARENTS PLEASE USE DUE DILLIGENCE AND DON'T FALL FOR IT!
