I ordered a 6 book series. One of the books was defective - missing some chapters and other chapters doubled in their place. Not something you could tell by casual inspection. They would not replace because they said I contacted them outside of 3 months. I contacted them in 3.5 months, and again, this is a 6 book series. Very inflexible company and not customer focused.

Ordered and paid for book by PayPal on Aug 3, 2018 on Aug 10, 2018 got email that they had just processed my order and it was going out for dispatch. Dispatch! You mean you haven't even SHIPPED it yet? Supposed to be delivered on Aug 27th. It is now Sept 3. They show it was delivered on the 27th according to THEIR tracking #. So where's the book? It hasn't been delivered here. If I don't get it by Sept 8 I'm appealing to PayPal and requesting reversing the payment for non-delivery.
Do not...I repeat, DO NOT deal with this company. There are better book sellers than Wordery. (I know, I have dealt with them.)
1st and last time I deal with them. They haven't even tried.
textbook delivery delayed compounding by lies from customer service
Placed order on the 18th where they indicated it should arrive in 3-4 business days. Still has not arrived a week later on 25th. Not the end of the world but frustrating because I need the book for school. The kicker is the company tried to claim I placed my order on the 24th and that it, therefore, wasn't late, which is patently false and simple to prove through my emailed order confirmation from them on the 18th! Unreal. Steer clear of this business if you have any expectation of customer service.

Ordered these people some sarah said I can replace my book or have a refund.. Somehow I've sent them 8 emails in order for them to reply and move on to the next process. I'm not mad for the book, I'm just mad at the mere fact they take us for idiots. One thing I know for sure I am most definitely not ordering from this company again! Word of advice ; don't be fooled because they have most of the books you want or the rare ones... Order from a different site even if you have to pay extra

I was promised a reimbursment of postage from your staff member sarah on 07/1/2018 if I sent in a copy of my receipt. Your customer service agents keep denying me this reimbursment due to your company policy. While I realise this is your usual practice, I believe if your staff have wrongly given out inaccurate information then some training issues need to be addressed and my postage refund should be honoured. I would also like to complain about the handling by your agents as it seems they haven't read the email trail and email evidence that has been sent in. Leading to unnessacary emails when this matter could of been resolved days ago.

I am looking to file a complaint regarding the handling of my refund. I was offered a full refund of postage and packaging on 07/01/2018 by your staff Sarah. All your staff refuse now to reimburse the postage/packaging due to your company policy. Due to the error made by Sarah, I believe you should honour the mistake made and reimburse my postage and packaging. I also believe further training should be given to the staff replying to my emails as it is clear the emails have not been read as fault on the part of your company would of been picked up and an apology would of been offered however this hasn't happened.
damaged book received
Received a damaged book in Nov. Was bought in Nov for a Xmas present, didn't open till Dec when I did I realised that the gum on the envelope had been stuck onto the book so the front is damaged. Filled in the online form on the website @ 22nd Dec, as it was Xmas didn't expect a response straight away. Still no response by the 7th Jan so emailed them so I could keep a record. It is now the 10th Jan and I still haven't heard a thing. Looked for a phone no and no joy with that either as they don't seem to have one.!? Have ordered quite a few books in the past and never had any problems (then again never had to contact their customer service before)
Had to give the present and have promised a new one will be here soon. Will it ever arrive?
Why can't companies in this day and age get their **** together? Customer service is so important as without customers no business can survive. Its not rocket science.

They promised to send my boo within a couple of business days but made me wait for several weeks instead.
I want to tell Wordery something: if you're not sure about shipping or delivery, don't promise anything then. I think it's so easy to remember.
Because of your promises I had nothing to give my friend as a Christmas present. No, of course, I found an alternative, but the book I ordered was the book he always dreamt of, but couldn't afford as it was very expensive.
You let me down and ruined my surprise.

This website is a complete mess. I only wasted my time and money.
My book has never arrived and the website blamed me for that. They said I gave them the wrong address. How can anyone be blamed for this if this information is usually easily checked? Ok, a little bit later they figure out it really wasn't my fault, but they did nothing to help me.
I have no idea where my book is, why does it take too long to get it delivered and if it's possible to refund.

Terrible service...!
I have been looking for a number to contact and call on but found nothing yet. It suffices to say that it makes me wonder if wordry is genuine and need to be reported to the trading standards ombudsman. It is applauding to part with money, waiting eight long days even longer now and still be none the wiser as to when what I have paid for will arrive or even to have been contacted at all.
This is very poor, unprofessional and unacceptable. This actually requires nothing less than my book with compensation and it goes without saying apologies.

I paid for 1st class delivery and have now received the wrong book. This was a very important birthday gift with a deadline which is why I paid for fast delivery. I am very upset and you have no phone number for me to call you?! Disgraceful service.

Is it normal that the delivery takes more than a month? Moreover, they didn't send me any tracking number so I have no idea where my order is. Actually, all serious companies provide tracking numbers, why was it so hard for them to do the same? They said they don't provide anything like this and the only thing I should do is wait. Oh for real? That's how you talk to me? How long should I wait?

my book arrived a month late... but it's not even what I ordered!!
I ordered a sketchbook a month ago for my class and since I am a prime member on amazon, I thought I would get it in 2 days because that's what it said. It didn't arrive so I called amazon and they said that if they don't contact me after a claim in the next few days, they could give me a refund. Wordery contacted me a few days later saying that it will arrive in just one more week. It said it would get here on September 23rd, but it didn't so I waited one more week. After that, I called Amazon today to ask for a refund. I got a refund but when I went home, I received a package. I was so excited because I thought it was my sketchbook, but it was actually another book about CODING. called express in action. I am so mad.
customer service and general legitimacy of the company
I created an account and several days later I placed an order. I never recieved my confirmation email regaring my order nor was the order listed in my account info; however, my paypal account was charged. I sent multiple emails to customer service clearly explaining things, giving them order and invoice numbers from my paypal receipt and I have recieved multiple emails telling me they cannot find my account and giving absolutely no information regarding my order. They are either unwilling or too incompetent to help me.

I receive the above book on the 30th of August 2017.
First impressions was good, the book was brand new and in good condition.
After a more detailed observation, I found that pages 135, 136, 137 and 138 have been damage by the printing process with folds across the pages, also pages 135 and 138 could not be read as the pages had been double printed with mis-alignment.
The advertisement on Amazon did not indicate that this book was a "second".

Have not received my books
I bought two books from Wordery over two months go and still haven't received them. I paid full price and they took my money right away and promised fast shipping.
Unfortunately they did not give me a tracking number so I have no idea where my order is. I tried to contact Wordery numerous times but failed, they never replied.
There are many reviews where people face the same problem. This company is the biggest disappointment! I sent a refund request but I don't expect them to reply.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
Cancelled my order
I bought a book from this company and one week after my order was placed I received a message stating my order was cancelled. When I contacted Wordery support service they said that my book was no longer available, but it was still shown on their site that my book was in stock. They offered me a refund but I decided to pick something else. So I paid some extra money and made another order which was also cancelled several days later. After that I agreed for a refund and I'm still waiting. Seems like a scam.
Total scam!
I regret that I did not check the reviews. I was scammed by Wordery like many others. I placed my order and purchased three books from Wordery website. I paid for my order and received a confirmation message, later they sent me a message stating that my order was pending.
I was supposed to get my book in max two weeks but three weeks passed and there was no sign of my order. I contacted Wordery but they did not reply. Another week passed and I received a message from them saying that they were not able to deliver to my address so they cancelled my order. They also asked me to contact them as soon as possible regarding my refund. Tried but they ignored me. Total scam!
Stay clear of Wordery. They sold me a book but never delivered, when I tried to contact them to get a refund they told me too much time had passed so they wouldn't issue a refund. Really? I asked amazon to blacklist them.
I paid £96 for my book. It was clearly a counterfeit fake. Poor quality, no silver gilding on the page edges (instead ugly green), poor quality print and paper - the pages have not even been cut straight, poor quality stitching and binding, no isbn inside, the cover/box was a different colour than the picture used on the sellers website. Very disappointing. I can't believe this company are allowed to trade. I have reported them to the books publisher, PayPal and trading standards.
Ridiculous company
I have made an order and bought five books from Wordery website. Later after they received the payment they contacted me and said that one book was no in stock. I said that's ok if I'll get the other four and a partial refund. They said yes of course.
Waited patiently but nothing showed up so I contacted Wordery and asked about my order and refund and they said that my order was not even shipped yet because all of my books were not available!
Then I asked them to cancel the whole order and they promised I'll get a full refund within a few days. Well it seems like they've decided to keep my money. Scammers!
The second order hasn't arrived
My friend placed two orders on the website www.wordery.com. The difference between orders was 4 days. She got two emails that the delivery of both orders would take 4 days. Ok, she got the first order after 5 days and waited for the second one. However, the second order was lost somewhere. She emailed the seller and the guy promised to fix the problem, but after this situation she heard nothing from them.
