poor service
So I started my evaluation with WES on April 27th 2017, paid a 152 US dollars(includes 7 dollars postal fee) to get my credentials evaluated and also because my degree was done back home where am from I had to send home 100 US to get my transcript and pay courier fee because I wanted it to get to WES on time.They received the transcript from back home the first week in may along with a copy of my certificate which I had to send them.Take me I sent the certificate here in the US, it cost me one dollar and some change to post the certificate from my location to their offices in NYC .They received it the first week in May as well.The evaluation was completed on May 16th 2017 and I have yet to received the evaluation.I have been emailing them and calling them and they have yet to respond to me.What I can't understand is why charge me a big 7 dollars for postal fee as to compare with me just paying one dollar and some change to sent the certificate to them which took about 4 days to get to them . This 7dollars is total robbery .Today marks the beginning of a new month giving a total of 16 days and I have yet to received the evaluation .If I knew I would have never use this stupid and unprofessional so called institution, it's a disgrace and pure robbery, my first and last.
So I guess WES saw this complaint about them which I wrote today and they finally replied to one of my emails.To add insult to injury they are saying that the evaluation sent to me was returned to them because it's either my address is wrong .What are you guys stating, I don't know my address, I am not perfect but i'm not dumb either .I got two theories, it's either WES never posted the evaluation when they said they did or the postmen where I live at is dumb and can't read and don't know their way around this place .I have taken a screen shot of the apartment address where I live at on Google and compared it to the address I sent to WES, I have had my friends compared the two themselves and can't find nothing wrong with the address except the letter "t" I gave in the address to WES is not in upper case form, take it the spelling and every other thing including the apartment number is correct.Don't see how this should affect a mail from being delivered if spelling and apt number is correct, ( What does the price of sugar have to do with the price if rice), dont we live in a modern time where phones with google maps exist?I must say I am very much disappointed in WES.I wonder if they had not seen this complain I wrote today, if I would have gotten a replying sayin about mail was returned to them and blahhhhh .Plus I won't be paying no extra money for all this new postal choice, it's a waste of money because I mailed my certificate to WES from my location and it was received by WES in 4 days, and it only cost me one dollar and change.This is my first and my last time and will never recommend WES to anyone I know who needs to get their credentials evaluated, NEVER!
Credential service
For 2 people with the same masters degree, same course, same year and same batch (even the same section) they assess one as bachelors equivalent (person with higher GPA) and another as masters equivalent! On top of that they are highly unprofessional, offering no easy way of communication, (no email, don't take calls, just put international callers on hold for 20+ minutes) and show no accountability. A secretive operation that claims to be non profit but charges ~$325 and then takes no responsibility when they get something horribly wrong. Canada, Australia immigration and various education institutes should stop dealing with such an organization in the interest of their applicants or till the time WES agrees to higher levels of accountability. How long will WES get away with this?

I wish I could give negative points to WES services. I have been struggling with them since 5months, when I call them, I have to wait in the queue for the in-definite amount of time.
I had sent 2 envelopes (on 12th May) for evaluation, a brown envelope with 3rd-year mark sheets, provisional and final degree certificates attested and verified from the University and a white envelope with 1st & 2nd-year mark sheets attested by my college.
They say that they have received just one envelope even though both of the envelopes had been sent together. They clearly misplaced/lost my documents and they are asking me to get the verification done from the university again which will cost me another $300 over and above the $500 I've already spent on this horrific experience. Moreover I have to invest days to coordinate with the university since it is in India.
WES's turn around time is very poor and they don't have, neither provide exact details or list of pending documents they need to complete the evaluation. Time and again they will direct you to their useless FAQs.
I paid $254 for the evaluation process + have spent around $300 coordinating (with university, courier & phone bills etc). Now WES is asking me to call for the documents from the university again that will cost me another $300.
I have another set of verified and attested documents with me that I can provide hard copies or scanned copies. WES is wasting my time, energy, efforts and money. It is not easy to coordinate with institutions if you live in different time zones altogether. I want them to find my documents and fix this in next 2weeks.
I am in need of the evaluation reports and I need this urgently.
delay in providing assessment
I paid so much money to get my transcripts assessed and then sent to two recipients. I received an email from WES that my transcript evaluation was completed. Now, almost two weeks later and the selected recipients have not received the evaluation report. Even after spending so much money I am not able to download a copy of the evaluation to at least send an unofficial copy until the official copy is sent as requested (and paid for). This delay is unacceptale. I have submitted an application to attend college and I am afraid I will miss the deadline if the evaluation is not received in time by the college. I sent an email directly to WES (because nobody ever answers the phone) and no response yet.

Greetings sir I write with regards to my document evaluation with WES Canada which is taking close to a year. I am Che Niba Wanibum Jude. WES ref no 3064672. I have been waiting for the evaluation for long to no avail that I finally used the international transcript request form to my department chair(head of department Administrative Techniques of the University of Bamenda) who is responsible for the transcripts. Together we filled the form and he later produced the transcripts and mailed to wes on the 24/02/2017. Tracking no EE002102740CM. Until we speak I have not yet seen the status of my account change as it is still showing awaiting verification from institution. Am worried because this is making me lose several opportunities. Please help resolve my problem. Thanks.

My Wes number is 2843300 and at this point, I am considering legal or disciplinary actions against WES for costing me my education. I paid for a copy of my transcript to be mailed to the graduate school here in the US, which I had applied to. I received an email verifying completion of my request and that transcript was sent to the school. I felt this is an institution of integrity and, so I relaxed and waited for my acceptance letter from the school. That letter never came, then I had to call the school to check on the status of my application, they said they did not receive my transcript and it's past the deadline so I was not accepted into the program. At first I did not imagine that wes would be so unprofessional as not to send my transcript, I argued with the school that I have an email verification from wes that says my transcript was mailed to the graduate school but the school said they only received the unofficial copy. I was confused, angry, frustrated and depressed. My blood pressure went up, and my nerves got the better of me at that moment. I started pleading with the school to please accept me while I try to get the official copy sent to them, but they strongly refused. This is one graduate program I really looked forward to and even registered for the same day registration opened up on the school's website in October. I paid tons of dollars to have my reference letter mailed directly to the school from Nigeria, and My dad was proud of me for taking that step to go back to school... but then wes didn't mail out my transcript, and thus shattered my dreams of starting school this fall... they sent an official copy via email to the university. Who does a thing like that? Are these people really professionals? Or just some roadside amateurs? I cried like it was over for me because I badly wanted to go back to school this fall and start earning a living. I emailed wes with information about the issue and they confirmed what the school had told me that the transcript was emailed. They offered no form of apology for their oversight and when I asked them to mail out an official copy to the school, they did not respond. I have since sent them 3 emails requesting for my transcript to be mailed to the school yet they still haven't responded. I just read some of the complaints here and I'm wondering how and why this organization is still allowed to continue doing business, when all it does is basically ruin people's lives. The unethical practices of wes need to stop by all means possible. And I am not one to take matters like this sitting down. This organization will not get away with ruining my chances. They need to be brought to justice.

Wes did a mistake in their evaluation and now after I expressed this they are reviewing my documents and I know I am right that the mistake is on their behalf. I have expressed how urgent I need the evaluation but after pointing out the mistake I am still waiting with no update what so ever. It has now been 2 weeks.
I have tried to call them and email them and they don't reply to emails and the waiting time on the phone is about an hour.
This is really unacceptable after the amount you pay you get no service.
I am so disappointed and this is also putting my school in a bad position because they need the evaluation already.

I sent wes an email yesterday and I got a reply that I requested my password to be sent to me and that was NOT my question.
I proceeded with all the application steps and entered my credit card details and then the amount (322.05 CAD) was deducted from my bank account and I received a message from my bank confirming the payment yet my application page remained the same as if I didn't pay. Now when I log into my account it shows that I still need to pay while I already did! I need an imediate answer

My application number is 3147010. I started my application for transcript evaluation November 2016. I received an email on January 12, 2017 that my transcript had to be verified so it was being sent back to my school. My university sent the verification back to wes twice. After writing wes everyday to follow up I received an email on February 15 stating that a further evaluation is being conducted that I should wait or pay for expedited service, which I had paid for and was never used. To my dismay I received a letter yesterday and the letter I received was the same letter I received on Janaury 12, 2017. That my verification process had been initiated. So starting afresh again after two months of transcript receipt with WES. What I need to understand is if WES is suppose to frustrate all applications. I also discovered that all my enquiries are not being received anymore I have been blocked from sending enquiries to wes as I don't receive the automated reply response so I decided to use another email and my message was delivered. So I was blocked from sending messages to WES on February 15, 2017. I have paid over $450 dollars so far and I am practically begging to be serviced. Is this how business is done?Or I don't fit into the criteria of evaluation Apllication. I have searched everywhere for an email to NACES to report this frustration but I can't seem to find one. I would send all correspondence I have had with WES to NACES to escalate this treatment. It's totally unprofessional.

The documents reached the Wes canada office on 5th January, 2017 and till now the evaluation is in progress. The time taken so far is almost double of the 20 day contract. On top of that there is no proper email or phone response.

I had sent the Mumbai University attested transcripts and mark sheets (Semester 1 to 6) in a sealed envelope which had the stamp and signature on its flap. I had sent the same set of documents twice but it seems there's some confusion regarding the documents sent. As I have a deadline of March 1, 2017 for the transcript evaluation to be obtained by two of the universities, I want you to rectify the error from your side as soon as possible as I might miss out on my aspiring universities due to this delay.

You have very poor customer service and support or none.

I initiated an evaluation of my transcript since November 2016. My transcript was sent to my university for verification. My university has since responded but the evaluation has not been done. I had asked for an expedited service but I got no response from WES. And they are asking me to pay $75 dollars extra for expedited service which has not been done and is not required anymore, as my university have since responded. The transcript was sent since January 12, 2017. WES are frustrating my efforts and are bent on ensuring that i don't get accepted to the universities I am applying to. I am ready to escalate this failure/breach of service delivery to the schools I am applying to. I wont let an organization use the power they have to frustrate my efforts. I need help and urgent intervention.

I went to my institution and they replied 2nd time in front of me to their verification email. Still WES told me they did not get the response. WES reference number 3106384. I have been trying to get my original documents back, trying to cancel my order/evaluation and trying to get a refund. I have sent so many emails to WES regarding these issues. All I have received is an email with incomplete instructions. I can not do anything with those incomplete instructions. WES is harassing me. I sent twice my Romanian documents for review which have been rejected "The document received was not properly verified in the
manner required by WES" .
In the process they followed your instructions, and the documents have been verified by the university and by the notary twice. There is no clarification in regard to rejection.
I am trying to understand how is possible to reject the Romanian documents and accept the English ones which have been translated and stamped at the same institutions as the originals.
The agency which has submitted them under my name has no clue.
Please, advise where can I obtain clarifications in regard to my rejected Romanian documents.
poor customer service and not returning my original documents
I started my evaluation with wes at 10/20/16 and the site says it will take 7 days for your evaluation but at at 10/24/16 wes service says that your documdnts are not valid for evaluation so i send them my original documents of high school which i need it back after evaluation.
On 10/28/16 they send me email that we cannot proceed your evaluation.
I said fine return my original documents back as soon as possible and cancel my evaluation and have my refund they haven't replied to me for anything

course by course evaluation for university admission purposes
I live in Canada for the past 20 years of my life. It took me 6 months to get my B.Sc transcripts attested from my home country, sent to WES Canada and their online status changed to documents received/approved. After this I started to get my secondary school and F.Sc certificates attested that too some time as the Boards in my country are all bureucrats, in any education country sent me the sealed documents and I sent to WES Canada immediately. WES online status now says:

for my secondary school and F.Sc not received.
As all the complaints above WES will not reply to emails or phones. I had to plan to enroll myself in MS this sept 2016. That does not seem to fulfill. What a company, sad part they are sitting on my $254/- and did nothing. Anyone knows the best way to contact them or its a virtual company with robots/dummies working. One thing is for sure they do not concern about students though they take money in advance.
I am in an urgent need for them to get this resolved. May be one day of 2016. God bless WES Canada.

I request a course-by-course evaluation for my high school grades, which is secondary education, and I paid about $200 for that. As soon as I submitted all my documents, at 4:26pm July 26th, which is the next work day, I got an email said "You requested a Course-By-Course Evaluation Report, but because you have not completed the equivalent of post-secondary level study in the United States, a Document-by-Document Evaluation has been prepared. A refund of $60 has been issued." I checked my account immediately and found my order has been changed to something I have never requested. I tried to contact them and modify my order, but they are not replying my email and the voice record said they only open from 9am to 2pm. The next day 6:03am, I got an email said my Document-by-Document evaluation is completed. When I tried to upgrade my order, it asked me to pay another $200 for the course-by-course evaluation.
There are a few things that make me feel very annoyed and confused.:
First, why they need grades from post-secondary education for a secondary education evaluation?
Second, why they can change the order detail of a customer without asking for their approval?
Third, I heard many stories about WES being extremely slow with evaluation process, why this time they become so effective and fast that I have no time to make any change to my order after it's been changed?(from July 25th 4:26pm to July 26th 6:03am is totally out of their working hours, so you cannot reach them by phone at all)
Forth, they said they are open from 9am to 2pm, but why almost all of my email are received out of their working hours.
Fifth, if I want to upgrade my order, why do I have to pay in full price instead of price difference?
Sixth, I never asked for a document-by-document evaluation and why I have to pay for something I've never requested?
If my school didn't ask me to get an evaluation from WES, I would 100% think WES are scammers.
