XHeli.com XHeli Review: Terrible Experience, No Delivery, No Response, Total Scam

I had a really bad experience with XHeli. I spent $155.00 on their website and I never received my order. I tried emailing them multiple times, but they never responded. I even submitted a ticket through their website, but still no response. Their phone number is a complete joke, I tried calling multiple times and could never get through to anyone.

Overall, I feel like I was completely ripped off by this company. It's really frustrating to spend that much money and not receive anything in return. I would definitely not recommend XHeli to anyone. It's a total scam and a waste of time and money.

XHeli.com Disappointing Experience at XHeli: Not Worth Your Money or Trust

I gotta say, I ain't too happy with my experience at XHeli. I spent a good chunk of change on their products, but I ain't feeling satisfied at all. I wouldn't recommend buying from this place, no sir. If you do decide to take the plunge, make sure you get a written guarantee and be ready to stop payment if things go south. Trust me, they're only after your money and nothing else.

XHeli.com Terrible Customer Service: My Experience with Xheli.com

I recently bought a Syma 9086 RC helicopter from Xheli.com and was pretty excited to try it out. However, when I took it out of the box, I was disappointed to find that it didn't work at all. I was pretty bummed out, but I decided to contact their customer support to see if they could help me out.

Unfortunately, I had to wait for three whole days before I heard back from them. When I finally got in touch with a tech rep, I was told that because the unit was one day out of warranty, there was nothing they could do to help me out. I tried to explain that I had contacted them before the warranty was up, but I didn't get a reply in time. However, they didn't seem to care about my situation and just brushed me off.

I was pretty disappointed with the poor customer service I received from Xheli.com. It's clear that they don't care about their customers or repeat business. I was so frustrated that I decided to take my business elsewhere and go to Bananna Hobby instead.

Overall, I would not recommend buying from Xheli.com. Their customer service is terrible and they don't seem to care about their customers at all. It's just not worth the hassle and frustration.

XHeli.com XHeli Takes Advantage of Elderly Lady's Diminished Capacity

My elderly mother who is suffering from suspected early onset of Alzheimers wanted to purchase a toy helicopter for her great grandson for his birthday. She stressed to the XHeli sales rep that her great grandson was 5 years old and purchased the remote controlled helicopter that they recommended. When my mother received the delivery, the toy was clearly marked for ages 14 and above. When I brought the matter to XHeli's attention, they refused to credit my mother for the exorbitant shipping charges ($14 for a small $18 toy) or to pay for return shipping charges. So my mother was looking at spending approximately $25 in total shipping charges to return an $18 toy that never should have been ordered in the first place. Instead of just telling my mother that they don't carry toys for 5 year olds, the sales rep took advantage of an elderly woman's diminished capacity to sell her a product that clearly wasn't appropriate and and then management refused to rectify the situation. PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

Totally concur. XHeli sucks. Their helo didn't fly right out of the box. The piece to connect the lower rotor to the shaft is of inferior design, quality and tolerances. Wrote to XHeli - they just don't care and wouldn't help in any way. Strongly suggest customers boycott their company and let them go broke. I won't buy from them again.

Agree. XHeli sucks. I purchased a helo that didn't fly out of the box. Worked for 30 minutes figuring out that the lower rotor blade was not secured well to the rotor shaft. The design, materials and tolerances are absolutely inferior quality. The charger overcharged the battery and will ruin it if used for long. When the helo finally flew, it was highly unstable and a puff of wind blew it 15 feet away into a couple of wispy branches. Then, the lower rotor problem returned. XHeli's response - no assistance at all - since I had flown it into a tree. They really suck and are of no help whatsoever. Highly recommend not purchasing from their company.

XHeli.com Wrong items received

Do not buy at this store! Ordered blades for my Syma S012 helicopter there... they sent me the wrong parts. Not a big deal usually. Have been trying to contact this company for 2 weeks now. Phonelines always busy, sent many mails to arrange exchange... no answer! Then sent many emails to ask them for the return address and a refund since I did not want to deal with this company any longer. No answer! Sent them a final notice of chargeback via mail and fax and gave them time to answer my email by today 12PM PST. Guess what happened...no answer! Called American Express today, asked for the chargeback and got my money back. I ve never had to do this and Im used to buy merchandise online. WORST STORE EVER! DO NOT BUY THERE! WORST STORE EVER! DO NOT BUY THERE!WORST STORE EVER! DO NOT BUY THERE!

XHeli.com defective merchandise - no refund

We recieved a defective apache helicopter. worked with Xheli customer service to get it going. Recieved replacement battery and replacement controller. Nothing worked. Returned everything to them in Nov 2008. Got confirmation of return receipt. Phoned and emailed Xheli several times. Each time they claim the refund will show up within 10 business days. It never does. It is now March 2009. All hope is lost. Xheli is an unreputable company and is not to be trusted.

I am having the same trouble. For one thing I had a lot of trouble contacting them thru their email service which is complicated to use. I got no response from them and am past the statue of limitations now I guess. I wonder what we can do to get a solution? I was considering ordering another one of the same heli, for the same cost as the parts but then if I get another bad one I am no better off. I have about twelve of these little helis on the shelf now. I just want one I can enjoy.

XHeli.com Online scam

A few months ago I purchased some propeller blades and batteries for my radio controlled helicopter from xheli.com. My package arrived about 10 days later. Imagine my surprise when I opened the package and found just a small nitro engine (later found out that it's for a radio controlled car).

Their customer service (actually [protected]@xheli.com is where their emails came from) said they would send me my correct order when I returned the engine, AT MY EXPENSE! They took no responsibility for their shipping department mistake.

Thinking that surely since I did nothing wrong, and shouldn't have to pay for their mistake, I asked my credit card company to cancel the charge. They did, but later put the charge back on.

So now I have paid $83 for my original order, which I never received, and have a $150 (as listed on xheli.com) engine that I can't use. I guess I'll get on ebay and see if I can at least sell the engine for what I had to pay for it.

I will never purchase from xheli.com again!

I ordered a helicopter from xheli. Right out of the box it was defective. So, I was told to send it back and they would replace it with a new one. ONLY I HAD TO PAY THE SHIPPING TO SEND IT TO THEM 30.00$ They emailed back to say they received the returned heli but were out of stock of that particular model and I needed to choose something else. Well, I tried to select something but everything I was interested in was out of stock. I emailed them back and asked for a refund. I have yet to see one. It has been 3 months and many ignored emails and no $ returned. They are awful. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE FRAUDS.

XHeli.com Defective product

I made a purchase online at XHeli.com and when I got the product, I found it defective. I have been unable to get a response except an improper one. He told me to write an rma # on the box and send it back however, ups only accepts printed labels. I signed an affidavit at my bank to reverse the charges and am still waiting. this is a website on yahoo. It is xheli.com. Am I stuck with unusable junk? Will yahoo do anything?

I purchased an erazor from them about a year ago. Never should have got that model since it's an expert level and I have never flown one in my life. But live and learn. Never could get the thing to fly but would just spin wildly out of control. I was in the process of moving so I put it away and just recently got it out again. After some investigating I found why it doesn't fly. If I move the right lever up to lift off, the copter tries to roll hard to the left. It appears the remote that came with the copter doesn't run the servos correctly. Then the lever that controls the tail rotter would no longer remain in the middle position but was being forced to the left position. I took the remote apart to see if it was a broken spring and was surprised at what I found. 1. Someone had taken a razor blade and removed the etching from the IC on the main control board. 2. When I removed the control mechanism for throttle and yaw, I found that most of the screws holding the box together were stripped, so someone had taken it apart. (It was sold as new in the box). 3. The plastic mechanism had broken and been glued back together. Since plastic doesn't glue well, I eventually broke. So I am trying to figure out exactly how a brand new remote got in this condition, or how a damaged/shoddily repaired remote got in the box. My guess is that someone returned a defective remote, xheli replaced it with mine, glued the piece to fix it and even perhaps put the wrong remote in the box. The darn thing could have seriously injured someone when I first tried to fly it because it tried to flip instead of lift off. I bought the remote that connects to the computer and got so I could take off and land the virtual heli, but the real thing doesn't react the same way. Fortunately the only casualty was an avocado tree. Definitely won't be doing any more business with xheli, or any of the other company names they use to run their scam.

I agree, I bought a S301G heli from XHeli about a month ago. It flew good when I first got it. And then it started cutting out and dropping out of the air, crashing to the floor. The blades got beat up from the number of crashes after that. I took it outside so that I had a higher ceiling and a better chance to recover it. It would shoot off like a rocket, I would respond by throttling back to get it down from the high altitude. It didn't want to come down so I would back off on the throttle more and then it would drop out of the sky not giving me much time to recover before just hitting the ground. I tried repeatedly and got the same thing again, and again. I gave up flying it after a number of these episodes. After much frustration trying to contact XHeli, I was directed to their email service rcduss. I found this service complicated to use. I did get a private message to them, but they never responded to it that I know. I am frustrated with their service. The trouble is I am crazy about flying these things. Their heli sits on my desk and I stare at it and wish that I could fly it even though I have twelve other smaller ones on my shelf that I could fly.

Purchased an Eceed RC Classima 300 back in April, flew it several times until one day the motor stripped the main gear, fixed that up, then the landing skid broke even though I did not land all that hard, got that fixed up, next thing the tail shaft starts making noise and then the chopper decided to not remain still while I was hovering it, besides the blades are cheap garbage, broke the blades still from landing soft, I will not be buying from these guys again, a main gear is 4 dollars, along with other parts and they don't have them in stock when you need them, shame on them:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

Xheli's customer service is about as bad as it gets. No one answers the phone, 20 minutes to chat with incompetence, and good luck getting an email reply. The battery was defective on a helicopter. I can either pay to ship the item back for a replacement or I can wait 8 weeks for a battery because they are out of stock. 4 months later, no battery and no response. Good luck with the item if it has any issues. I say find another company. This is my first negative post ever and I've been shopping online since the year 2000, this place gets my once a decade bad review award. Oh and if you chat with anyone the manager is not in to make a decision on what should be a standard customer service process.

purchase a warhawk co axial helicopter from them. after a month or so the top blade does not spin correctly. I figured that since it had gone through the trials of a new pilot, that I may have damaged the receiver. After some internet research, I discovered that this is a common problem with this heli. Then I find out that the replacement receiver has been out of stock for at least 3 months and their phone line stays busy. Thanks xheli for nothing. You guys are the worst and I will tell everyone I know. BEWARE! THEY ARE PROS AT SCAMMING PEOPLE.

xheli is the worst shop online they have cheap stuff listed

I got suckered by them twice both time the electronics were fried when they shipped them to me.

Think when something failed inspection they put in on sale at xheli

Neither time would they do anything about the broken parts stall me for 60 days and then say sorry warranty is over cant help. I tracked down an employee on Facebook and he was cool and said goto the RCdiscuss.com chat room and ask for help from some guy named Andy thats really the best response I got from them.

Never purchase anything from this company they are a scam ! at least with stuff on sale they scammed me twice I have two not working helicopters for decoration.

Useless!
I just bought a helicopter & when I turn it on, the blades spin for all of 2 seconds, then it stops, & there appears to be a peice missing from it. I had this same brand/model of helicopter before, but I destroyed, difficult though it was. I suppose my first hint was that it was something stupid was that the directions mention that it is not suitable for children under 14yrs due to choking hazard.
Their stuff is just expensive junk. The only thing that made it worth it were the idiotic directions- to fly. put the helicopter in the ground & face it away from you
