Yandy.com Review: Disappointing Pre-Black Friday/Cyber Monday Sale Experience
I recently made a purchase on Yandy.com during their pre-Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale on November 25th, 2021. I was excited to receive my items, but after a week had passed with no delivery, I decided to contact Yandy to inquire about the status of my order. They informed me that due to the high volume of sales, they were working around the clock to fulfill all orders and that mine would be shipped out by the 16th.
However, after checking the Yandy website on the 16th, I saw that my order was still unfulfilled. I contacted them again, and they told me that it would be shipped on the 24th. To my disappointment, they sent me an "Apology Letter" on the 22nd, stating that they had systemic issues that caused the cancellation of my order.
What's worse is that they are currently showing availability of the majority of the items I ordered on their website at regular price, but they refuse to send them to me at the sale price I originally purchased them for. I received an email from Ashley at Yandy.com on December 23rd, 2021, stating that they could not recreate the order, ship it at a later date, or honor the pricing offered on the order.
They did, however, refund me in full and offered me the option to purchase an e-gift card to replace any gift that was canceled. They also provided me with a unique promo code for 40% off, which I can use on a new order early next year.
While I appreciate the effort to make things right, Yandy's business practices are questionable. They had no problem charging my credit card in full for the purchases back in November, even though they had no intention of fulfilling the order. It would have been better if they charged my card when they actually fulfilled the order.
Overall, I am disappointed with my experience with Yandy.com. I hope they can improve their business practices and fulfill their customers' orders in a timely and efficient manner in the future.
Yandy Review: Terrible Sizing & Return Policy - Don't Waste Your Money!
Yandy is not a good place to buy costumes. I tried to buy a Hello Kitty costume in a size small, but it was too small for me. I am only 100 pounds, so I thought the size small would fit me. However, when I got the costume, I couldn't even fit it over my head. It was too small for me, and it would only fit an 11-year-old. I called customer service right away, but they were rude to me. They argued with me about the measurements, and I had to put my mother on the phone. They wouldn't talk to her because they needed authorization from me. I couldn't believe it. I had to authorize my own mother to talk about a Halloween costume. They eventually told me that I could send the costume back, but they would only give me store credit. They wouldn't let me buy a new costume and then credit my card when they got the other one. They said if I wanted to buy the costume now, they would only give me store credit. This meant they got $60 out of me. I needed the costume by the 26th, so I had to pay to ship it back to them and pay for a tracking number so they couldn't say they didn't get it. Then I had to pay for next-day shipping on the new costume so that it would get here in time. I decided not to send the costume back and eat the $36 spent. It wasn't worth the money, time, and aggravation. The customer service rep wrote in an email to me about sending the costume back, "I have made a one-time exception for your order for Store Credit Only as long at the item(s) is in its original unworn condition. Keep in mind your mother's comment was that the costume was for a child. This costume does not get ANY longer; it only gets wider." The length wasn't the problem; the width was the problem, which was 27 inches at the bust when I measured it. What adult is 27 inches? I'm not even a full-grown adult, and I'm more than that. Don't buy from this site. You might think you're getting a great deal, but their return policy sucks, and their sizing charts are wrong! So now I'm out $36, and I have no costume for a Halloween party all thanks to Yandy.
Terrible Experience with Yandy: Late Delivery, Poor Customer Service, and Privacy Breach
I had a terrible experience with Yandy. I ordered two items from their website and it has been three weeks since I placed the order, but I have not received anything yet. I was hoping to get the items before Christmas as they were gifts, but it seems unlikely now. I contacted their customer service on December 10th and they told me that I would receive the items 5-6 days after my original receive by date due to delays. However, on December 12th, the items had not even shipped yet. I emailed them again asking for an accurate date, but they just gave me a copy and pasted response. I was frustrated because I wanted to know if I would receive the items on time or if I should get something else.
I emailed them again on December 16th, asking for an update, but I did not receive a response until December 19th. They told me that I would still receive both packages by the 24th, but I had not received a shipping notification by December 21st. I emailed them again, and they said that I would still get my items by the 24th, but one of the two orders was refunded and cancelled on December 22nd. I was so disappointed with their service.
To make matters worse, when I asked them to cancel the other order, they merged my request with someone else's request, and I could see all their emails with customer service. It was a complete breach of privacy, and I was shocked that they could be so careless.
And now, they have cancelled my refund! I cannot believe that they are trying to keep my money. This business is a scam, and I would not recommend anyone to do business with them. Their customer service is terrible, and they keep lying and giving false dates. They blame the delays on the large amounts of orders for Black Friday, but they keep having sales and spamming my inbox with sales ads. It is clear that they do not care about their customers, and I can only imagine how they treat their employees.
Terrible Customer Service Experience with Yandy: Refund Delay and Insults
I've been waiting for my refund for almost three weeks now and it's been a frustrating experience. They told me that they've already processed the refund, but the email I received said that it could take up to 3-4 weeks for my bank to process the fund to my account. I called my bank to clarify and they said that it would only take 2-5 days. I called Yandy back and spoke with someone named *, who was defensive and argumentative with me for no reason. I asked to speak to a manager and was transferred to *.
When I spoke to *, I explained my concerns about the poor customer service I received. However, she wouldn't let me finish my sentences and kept interrupting me. I told her that my bank and had both confirmed that it would take 2-5 business days, but she kept arguing with me and saying that they couldn't guarantee it. I was simply trying to tell her about my conversation with and why I felt the service was bad, but she wouldn't listen.
Eventually, I got so frustrated that I said something not so nice, and instead of just hanging up, she responded with an insult. This is not how you treat customers. They have no interest in engaging with customers or resolving issues. They just poke at you until you get fed up, and then they act like they're the victims.
I spoke to again and she tried to say that she was hanging up the first time because I used language, which is a lie. Eventually, she admitted that I didn't say anything mean until she wanted to hang up for no good reason. I'm never shopping here again. It's such a mess and a waste of time. If they had better customer service, this would have been so much easier.

Sizing chart wrong and customer service terrible!
I purchased almost $800 worth of gear, including almost $80 for shipping.
When the gear finally arrived it was bad quality and worst of all the sizing was not even close to what they stated on their website, I don't know where they got this chart from but its not remotely close to being right.
I did complain but was told its my fault and their chart is correct, when I replied and said they should fix their sizing chart, I received a rude reply from a Pam just saying have a good weekend. Beware of this company! Better still shop around or read the feedback on some of these websites before you let them have your hard earned money..
Order not delivered!
I have ordered several pieces of lingerie from www.yandy.com and was supposed to get my order in 14-21 business days. I wanted to make a big order, but decided to order only few things to see was Yandy trustworthy or not. I'm really glad that I did not place a huge order! My items did not arrive even after 30 business days of waiting! I guess they decided to keep my money. Emailed customer service and asked them to refund my money and still no response. I'm so frustrated and disgusted and the same time and have no idea what to do now. Will never order from them again!

We returned the dress and didn't get any email from the seller
My boyfriend ordered a dress from www.yandy.com for me. He said that the seller overcharged him for the shipping, because he chose the express delivery. As well as the size of the dress was wrong and the seller didn’t respond within couple of days. When we finally got the response, he said that we would pay for the return. My boyfriend returned the dress and the seller stopped to respond.

Don't waste your time ordering from Yandy
If you want a costume just go to a Party City and spend the extra money on it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ORDERING FROM YANDY. I bought a hello kitty costume in a size small because the measurements on their site matched mine. I got the costume and I could not even fit it over my head ! I am not a big girl, only 100 pounds so I was not trying to fit into a size that wasn't mine. The costume fits an 11 year old ! Their exchange policy made me really frustrated
Their exchange policy made me really frustrated because I couldn't exchange something for a different size. They have a rule where sale items are excluded from returns or exchanges, which makes no sense. And this item wasn't even super cheap, it was close to 30 dollars. I just made my first and last purchase.
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. Among the worse ever. And although it's posted, it shows it was built by someone who has no business background.
14 day return policy is enforced like a cop. So the item takes time to arrive. And so after 10 days of receiving it, it was determined the item was not what I needed. I wanted to return it. Unopened.
I was told the return time has elapsed. And I told them you could charge me a restocking fee and give me store credit. I was denied.
So they would have lost no money. I would have returned as a customer. And they denied that?
Terrible.
So they lost me as a customer. And I am writing this review. And I am telling as many people as possible about my experience.
I am not sure how much I would spend there in the next year. I loved the site, so maybe $300. And because of their return policy, they miss out.
And imagine if only 10 people believe what I do? That's $3000. And if they keep doing this, they are just losing money by the day.
I will not utilize their site ever again
I normally shop in stores, but sometimes I like to stay inside and do the shopping online. I stumbled across Yandy.com, and used it several times. I was later stationed Overseas and decided to order something else for an acquaintance. The order kept saying "declined", but I always have sufficient funding in the checking account. I used the "online chat" option and was greeted by a clearly disgruntled employee. She had told me that since I have an overseas I.P. address, she will not approve my order. I have ordered from them several times before, but I can't stay in one place - I'm military. I tried to ask what is the problem, but she replied with "Sorry, Bye".
They have lost a customer here. I will not utilize their site ever again.
I have to agree. Their customer service is among the poorest I have experience. And they return policy is probably worse. Depending on the time you order an item, you could have 14 days or 70 days to return an item. And if you want to return it after 20 days, you are denied. Even if you only want a store credit. So in an environment where they would lose $0, they would rather lose a customer. They do that enough, and they'll be out of business.
I suggest to all not to bother with this company. It may be an experience you'll regret.
