Yummy Extensions Raw burma curly

I purchased 6 bundles of the raw Burma curly. It’s nothing like the bundles I’ve had in this curl pattern before. I got the hair installed and within 2 days I noticed it was extremely dry, brittle and shed a LOT and felt more like the raw Cambodian. I’ve purchased both from Yummy which is how I’m able to do the comparison. I asked for a refund on the bundles and volunteered to remove my sew in immediately to send the 3 used and 3 unused bundles back. The company asked for photos and videos and each time I sent them they claimed they never were attached and sent several “care” instructions for the hair.

After explaining I know how to care for the hair and that I wanted a refund I was told due to hygienic reasons they couldn’t accept the used hair but would take the unused hair back for a credit.

I’ve been going back and forth with this company for a month now via email along with one phone call I received after I threatened to write BBB and contact the TX Atty General and was able to finally get a return label emailed to my inbox to ship the hair back. I did send all of the hair back and contacted my bank.

The bank issued a credit and a week later Yummy contacts me asking about the chargeback stating now they’re willing to make this right and will condition the used hair to get it back to its original state.

The hair was only installed for 2 days and experienced issues the original state is the problem. Don’t offer med/high luster hair and send low luster. Some people may not know the difference which is probably what the company is banking on.

I’ve lost $300 on an install and potentially an additional $1000 if we can’t get this resolved.

But still hasn’t issues a refund, so I’ll let my bank handle it.

Claimed loss: 1300

Desired outcome: I’d like a FULL refund

Yummy Extensions virgin hair

I am a celebrity stylist and I was working on a location shoot/video for a very well known and famous female performer. I decided to try Yummy Hair Extensions and made a purchase in February 2018 for 3 bundles of their Virgin wavy hair. I made a wig for my client. The video was shot in the Seychelle Islands. To make a long story short, at the end of the first day of shooting, the Yummy Hair that I used to make the wig was a matted mess from the water in the beach. This was humiliating for me! My artist then told me that she would use the wig she arrived with and that everything would be fine. During the last 2 days of the shoot/video, there was a lot of time in the water. Afterwards she took the wig off and I washed and conditioned it with regular shampoo and conditioner. I have to say that the hair Never shed or tangled and stayed soft! I later remembered that the hair on that wig was from Superblackhair.com. Yummy never responded to my complaint and I am still in shock about that. Just be careful when spending your money and not getting what you should get.

Yummy Extensions bad hair extensions

I purchased hair from Yummy hair extensions at the end of May 2017, it is now July 5th and I cant tell you how disappointed I am in these hair extensions. I purchased the loose curly of two 28 inches and a 24 inch. This hair gets matted so easily and as the day goes on the hair gets bigger and bigger. I wish I could get my money back but I know they will not refund money. I just need everyone to know how this hair is not what they advertise it to be. The other person that did a review is most definitely telling the truth about this hair. I spoke to a customer service rep and she told me I need to deep condition for about 20 minutes and then rinse it out. I will never buy extensions from this company again, I am upset that I told my daughter about this hair and she ended up buying the deep curly but doesnt want to install it. We are both looking for alternate hair companies with better hair products. Buyer beware on Yummy Yarn Extensions. Do not purchase hair from this company! you will be disappointed.

Yummy Extensions Almost a bundle of shed after 4 months. Product mislabeling, misbranding, poor quality customer service

I contacted yummy end of october/november to notify them that I was experiencing shedding with the 3 bundle purchased I had just purchased four months prior... Not a little... A lot. Like brush loads. My full 3 bundles felt like a 2 bundle. Very noticeable. When I called yummy, I spoke to a young lady on the phone who took my information down and was promised a call back by a manager. I had unexpected health issues that presented itself & was back and forth in the er and drs. I was also expecting my first niece on the way, so I had a full plate. I waited a month... And got no call.

On dec 8th, I emailed yummy and got no response. I sent pictures of the before, after, the globs or hair on brush and explained to them how upset I was and asked them to accommodate me and that no one had replied to me. I waited 3 days and after losing patients, I went on their ig and vented. Suddenly someone from their team decided to reply... On dec 11th. The yummy rep, who I will spare and remain nameless, sent me a brief email, didn't sound humble at all nor apologetic for the lack of communication and went as far as to insult my intelligence and offered to sent & quot;tips and reasons why curly hair sheds" and since I kept the hair so & quot;long"... Would have resolved it sooner no? & quot; they would offer & quot;a discount towards the next purchase". Unacceptable, maybe then. Not at this point.

I sent a reply the next day on december 12th, asking about the discount I was being offered. No response.

I took the weave out cuz the shedding was bad and I looked crazy. The holiday were in and I had to bring my spirits up. I have a lot on my plate... Still do, as i'm a healthy girl under 40 and dealing with some heart issues at the moment. I don't need the additional stress. Hair was the last thing on my mind and I shouldn't be the one chasing a company once I already contacted them.

Once things calmed down I tried yummy again. I sent them another email this week on monday... Guess what? 3 days later and i've gotten no reply. I tried to resolve this amicably. This company is beyond unprofessional and i'm done. I don't ever write on these forums but I feel so violated, especially after my email to them in december and now. I sent them this same exact message and they have shown no regards. It speaks volumes on the type of business they are. After researching and seeing the various complaints I didn't take it personal. They have over 15. Six on one site alone. Not counting yelp. Come on yummy. It's about customer satisfaction, not just sending free hair to the youtube gurus to get a little online presence. All they do is talk mumbo jumbo, wear your hair for 5 mins on their instagram and swap to the next. We wear your hair. Where is the loyalty?

I've never been treated by a company this way. I didn't spend $50 nor $100. Like many, I spent about $700, in addition to 2 installations in less than four months... And that was thanks to you yummy as I didn't want to ruin the hair and asked them for a referall to a & quot;weavologist. I was better on my own. I had to return to her a week later to tighten the weave, and just redo the whole darn thing somewhere else 3 weeks later. Plus it was somewhere in the hood where I had to pay 2 tolls and a lot of gas. Wasn't even a salon... It was a rent-a-chair. Ugh. What a nightmare. And now I would have to spend almost $700 again plus another install? My experience has not been & quot;yummy" to say the least.

If yummy is going to brand their product on their website & quot;we're buying 100% raw authentic virgin hair" they need to comply with the quality of their product. Virgin hair should not shed in abundance, tangle nor matt and yummy should uphold their statement, reputation and their name and most of all care about their client relationships and customer's happiness and satisfaction as we are the root of the business.

Yummy doesn't label their brand like most companies with names like malasian, brazilian... Etc. But in the bottom of each product page they do the reverse the wording a bit and label their & quot;hair is not from china" and on another they label the hair is & quot;authentic raw hair sourced from several russian federation countries".

In various complaints many customers have asked for the certificate of authenticity (As product confirmation). After researching the past few days and trying to get understanding to & quot;tips on why my hair shed"... I realized many companies brand and label their hair extensions but not all companies have the authentication nor certification to back it up. Hrrrmm.

I have no proof that my hair is 100% virgin. I don't know where my hair is from as yummy has not identified where it's from. Usa? Japan? Italy? Like most ask... A certificate of authenticity would certainly help. They cautiously say it's not from china and say it is from & quot;russian federation... Where and which ones?

The fd&c act prohibits the distribution of cosmetics which are adulterated or misbranded and must comply with the labeling regulations published by the fda under the authority of the fd&c act and the fp&l act...

After 3 months, and repeated offensive behavior to many, I think this company's behavior speaks volume. No thanks. I'll pass. Karma always catches up and always cracks down.

Yummy Extensions Poor customer service

Very poor customer service! Multiple emails sent with no response. Called several times to be placed on hold for 10+ minutes, 3 times! Promised by Glenda & Katie that I'd receive hair 1 week after delivering. TWO weeks later, and counting, and no hair. Called to be told that they're sorry but NO type of compensation. Should've ordered from Sassy Mitchell like I normally do! So disappointed!

I had the same experience and posted yesterday. I will NEVER support this company again. Poor quality. My hair shedded from a 3 bundle to almost a 2 bundle in less than 4 months. They ignore your calls and emails and don't stand by their brand. I've tried to contact them to resolve this for 3 months. Ridiculous.

Yummy Extensions Their hair extensions and closures were bad

I bought hair extensions and closure from Yummy Hair Extensions. I have paid $400 for the whole order, but the company sent me bad-quality hairs. And the closures were bad, because it was difficult to attach them and they fell apart. When I complained, the company hasn’t reacted to my emails and other things, which I have told them. They simply didn’t care about my problems.

Yummy Extensions refused refund for defective hair extensions

On November 2015 i purchased hair from YHE based on the reviews on their website, you tube videos, etc. I totally think they stage those videos because I KNOW good quality hair as I have been purchasing hair for many years! I have hair that I have had for 3 plus years that still looks GREAT phoenomenal infact. I know that things can happen and batches may be bacd due to circumstances beyond your control when dealing with 3rd party vendors which is why I contacted YHE to inform them of my complaint and dissatisfaction. I then I had an even bigger problem... which is the way they handled my concern/complaint! I was very cordial and professional giving them the benefit of the doubt. We all know people are busy and so am I. But to let an issue go on for months is unacceptable. I emailed soley to have a record of the conversation and responses provided I needed to take further legal action. Their lack of attention to this issue shows more than I can say. Today April 17th 2015 they FINALLY emailed me to say they will not do a thing to resolve this issue satisfactorily.

I first contacted them the first week of Feb only 4 weeks after my initial install. They half a#$ed and barely responded to my emails... at times taking 2 weeks before responding even when I respondd immediately to them. Then the responses were vague and repetitive like it was coming from different people. Enough was enough!

The service sucks the hair sucks and I need to let the world know to be conscious of this and advise anyone to think twice before buying hair from them. I wish I had the opportunity to see an independent review like this from one unhappy customer or 2 max to make a better decision. I am upset because I feel taken advantage of and scammed. I think they delete reviews on their site to make them seem perfect. Problems arise in any business but it is how you deal with them that makes or breaks the situaton. I feel taken advantage of on 2 levels. I paid top dollar $720 worth of hair I ordered for my install all to be left with a rats nest. You should see this hair its insane!

I ordered Deep curl which resembles my texture and it was a complete nightmare. The hair matted up horribly. When I washed it it looked ok for that day then it matted more and more until it was unbearable. When talked to the customer service agent Teeto and then to Lauren after I finally called them on the phone... Lauren specifically stated the hair should last for 1 to 2 years minimum and clearly I am under that. I followed thier instructions to a T. I didnt cut the tracks during install, I purchased $45 worth of shamppoo and conditioner and followed their instructions to a T! I know good hair and I know how to take care of quality hair. I am not new to this. This is some BS! I offered to send the hair back, to send pictures to do anythig because I KNOW in my heart this is just plain WRONG!

At least offer a concession, some sort of a win win, meet me half way etc.! They refused to replace it or refund it. They said IF you give us more money we will offer you a discount? WTF? A discount? I dont want to spend another dime on this whack a##horse hair!

SO I am warning people to NOT buy from this company their service sucks AND their hair sucks! And I feel like I was scammed out of $750 for this suppose-ed hair! Dnt waste your time or your hard earned money. IF they would have handled it better this whole thing could have been avoided.

BBB is next and ALL hair blogs is next, as well as a letter from my lawyer. This is not about the money anymore its about integrity and customer service. So I will spend whatever amount of money needed to get them to pay attention to a customer and take care of a situation that they consciously chose to ignore.

Don't be fooled by them! Think twice and 3 times before buying ANY hair from them.

Their loose curly frontals are horrible! I've realize when people put honest reviews on their social media or website they remove them. I've saved up my hard earned cash just to purchase hair from this company and I was totally disappointed in the quality of their loose curl frontal. Now, I am a person who's been wearing weaves since the age of 18, so nobody can tell me that I don't know how to take care to hair! I followed proper instructions and used the products Yummy extensions recommended because why would I want to screw up a great product when I spend my hard earned cash? That being said, I never bleached the knots, only used a wide tooth comb and a Denman brush( I have 2...1 with 7 rows and another with 9) and I've only co-washed with products using their recommendations. I've had the product less than a year, and when I contacted the company for the second time they are trying to tell me that I'm using the wrong products 😒. Same products that's been listed on their website 😐. When I tell you that the loose curl shedded like a dog with mange. The hair was coming out in clumps and it was matting and tangling so much! After my experience I decided to give my wig a break for about 3 months. I stored it in the nice burgundy bag that they gave me with my purchase. Last week, when I took the hair out to co-wash it with the same products they recommended it was a disaster! My problem is why sell a product that you yourself know that no good? People work hard for their money and you are just being a scammer! Pull the product and recommend something else! That's just bad business! They advertise their product so well and when it's less that a month old it gives you more trouble than a 3 year old. I would no longer be purchasing hair from them ever again!

I totally agree! I'm in total disgust with this company! Never ever again will I support them. 100% RAW AUTHENTIC VIRGIN HAIR "NOT FROM CHINA"...so where IS the hair from? Til one of us blows the whistle on companies like these for all this abuse and have the FDA investigate that's when this industry will take a turn. No way hair should shed in 4 months and one have to respend double...worst of all be treated with such disrespect. I'm far from a ghetto chick trying to hussle free extensions. Seriously? The owner needs to learn how to run a tighter ship and someone who does better follow up as well. They should be staying on top of their clientele with a check list to ensure all outstanding problems have been resolve in a satisfactory manner. No way shape or form should it be the other way around.

Get it together Yummy

Yummy Extensions Hair

Please pay attention to this because I didn't pay attention to what others said and I was BURNED.ok so I decided after much research that I would buy from yummy hair. I normally buy from another online site which I won't mention because I don't need people thinking I work for them or something...I didn't order from my usual site due to the extremely long wait time..so I went with yummy(smh) they have mostly positive reviews..all the youtube gurus liked them as well...which dosnt mean much cause youtube gurus get their hair for free or even paid to give false reviews...anyway..I contacted yummy on fb in which they took days to respond..so I emailed them and they responded quickly...I asked them for a certificate of authenticity..which ALL REAL VIRGIN HAIR VENDORS CAN PROVIDE IF YOU ASK, ! Yummy claims they have no such certificate! Ok well I bought them anyway..WHAT A MISTAKE! It came quickly and looked great from afar..when I looked closer there was BLUE GREEN AND YELLOW hairs! This means they use fillers !the hair is NOT VIRGIN! After one week and shampooing with shampoo and conditioner it was brittle very hard..I wanted to cry..I spent almost 800$ on this hair! Look I'm not rich..I'm not poor neither now..lol..but 800$ is a lot of money to just throw out...look at the comments on these youtube videos about yummy hair..there you will see the truth..I believe yummy hair deletes all their negative reviews...hopefully you will not be burned like myself..smh

I have sent you an email...I want this to be deleted. Yummy hair extensions has gone above and beyond to make me a happy customer. The problem was resolved. It was my fault not theirs. I would highly recommend this company. The customer service is awesome! I should have contacted them before posting this.

Yummy hair extensions has sent me an email stating that they are apologetic for the bad batch I was given and would send me new hair. I'm truly kind of shocked at that. It's nice to see a company that actually stands behind their product 100%. Kind of eating my words now. Have not received the hair and will def update if I do

I agree with CurlsNWaves. I too live overseas and paid a lot of money for the hair, then add to that the price of shipping and when I received the hair it was not the correct length or quality that I expected to receive based on the reviews I read and watched. I am highly upset. When I received the hair I took pictures of the condition it was in as well as the length of the hair using a tape measure. It was clear that I had been ripped off. I was told to ship the hair back and they would correct the problem. Since receiving the hair that I shipped back to them via FedEX, they have not contacted me nor have I gotten any replies to my emails or phone calls. Currently the phone is on voice mail and the mail box is full. If you are reading this and live abroad this company has proven to be untrustworthy. I would not do business with them period.

I don't think this company values customers in Europe because they know they can get away with sending out bad batches. Hey who am I other than a customer who got their hair on a Black Friday deal who's currency ain't dollars.
I paid a lot in shipping
Then paid a lot in customs
Now I'm paying the price of bad hair
Beware of this company unless you live in America!
