Used 24 7 Logistics to move from NJ to NC December 29
Used 24 7 Logistics to move from NJ to NC December 29. I was given a low estimate right out of the box, so I sent photographs of most of the items. I stressed to their employee *** that I really hate getting ripped off. I wanted 24 7 to SEE the armoires, the beds, the shelving units. The price went up roughly $1300. Just before the move, someone from 24 7 suggested I 'buy' some extra cubic feet. If I didn't use the space I wouldn't be charged. Well, the two large armoires didn't go... the refrigerator didn't go (the movers didn't have the right hand truck)... a twin bed didn't go... some shelving didn't go (the crew broke OUR rubber mallet, and that was that)... a dresser didn't go... and I was STILL charged the extra footage! That means the estimate was off roughly 50% with PICTURES SUPPLIED! I don't think it's legal to be that 'off' an estimate. The crew took a priceless clock that was NOT on the list; when I looked for it to put in the car, I was told it was too far in the truck to retrieve, but "it will be safe". It was DESTROYED. Two casters from our bed were lost. The BBQ was reassembled wrong. I have picture proof of this debacle. Boxes were damaged (we were told the truck broke down in MD) when transferred from truck to truck. We were offered a stinking $100 'courtesy discount'. I didn't pay for extra insurance... I doubt I would be compensated for a clock that wasn't on the original list. I needed 3 months to 'cool off' enough to write this review. DO NOT USE if you value your possessions! Add 35% to any quote. No wonder there are so many mover horror stories. Watch *** & *** move that piano on Lombard Street if you want to get an idea of a 24 7 Logistics move.
Wish i could give -100 stars
Wish i could give -100 stars. This company is extremely deceitful and baits people with low prices but holds your belongings hostage in the end. We moved from California to South Carolina and were told that they'd be "driving there with us" when we left. A month later, our stuff is still sitting in a warehouse waiting to be shipped meanwhile we're sleeping on the floor in our new home. The truck arrives finally and they say it's too large to park on the road so they throw in a $700 fee. Lo and behold a giant moving truck arrives. We're completely missing several priceless family photos, 2 entire book shelves, and several other miscellaneous items. Boxes labeled "FRAGILE" and completely smashed down halfway full of broken dishes. I watch as antique furniture is hastily thrown on its side causing is to crack wood. Some stuff brought into our home wasn't even ours. They had confused furniture and boxes with others that were moving because they had 3 families belongings on one truck. Some stuff wasn't labeled at all with our moving order and they had us going through things on the truck asking if it was ours. Imagine if we just said yes...
This company should be put out of business. They are ***.
Why did I pay to have my stuff shipped but not get it or completely broken when delivered? I'm mostly upset about very personal and priceless things simply disappearing. I imagine they were delivered to another family and they're just as disappointed as I am. I want my money back. I should get a full refund for this. Anybody who's reading this and considering using this moving company should take a look at the ComplaintsBoard.com site and see the complaints and horror stories about this company.
These guys are amazing! I really can't begin to thank them enough for making our move as stress free as possible. Their initial quote was TOTALLY REASONABLE, and even though they ran over on the initial time estimate, the honored their original quote. We could have done a better job of packing, which likely held them up considerably so it meant a lot when they were still willing to hold to their original quote. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better moving experience!
They were polite, on time, careful, patient, VERY PLEASING, inexpensive, didn't break anything and didn't steal!. I highly recommend them. If we ever have to move again, we will definitely phone 24/7 Logistic Services! Use this company if you are looking for movers - they are outstanding!
I've been EXTREMELY HAPPY with their expertness and efficiency. They're the only moving company I could find this past week find that was willing to come to my home prior to my move and do a walkthrough to provide a extensive quote, which included a 'not-to-exceed' price. I hope I never have to move again, but if I do, I'll be calling 24/7 Logistic Services.
I had a really GOOD MOVE with 24/7 Logistic Services! It rained that day, but they made sure my things all stayed secure and dry. Also, I was moving two nearby apartments into one as my fiance and I were moving in together. The guys at 24/7 Logistic Services were REALLY FLEXIBLE about arranging two pick

MISSING/STOLEN GUNS These guys are charming and accessible until they have your stuff and then things changed. I hired this company because my fiance was deployed during the move and I could not move by myself. I was told after they picked things up that it would arrive in 2 weeks. It took 3 weeks and when I called twice for updates, they said my belongings were in a warehouse and they did not have a route or know when it would be moved. When they got here and unpacked, here was some of the damage - leg ripped off vanity table - BBQ grill legs bent to a point that the grill could not be stood up and was laid on it side - Antique piano stored on its side with chips and wood worn down with multiple scratches, missing leg casters and wheels fallen off (we paid $250 extra for them to ship this item) - Both mattresses were packed with mattress bags which I purchased with the plastic in tatters and mattresses stained, voiding our warranties - Laundry caddy bent beyond recognition and arrived in 5 pieces - Multiple crushed boxes - Mounted deer head with box labeled "FRAGILE, THIS SIDE UP" laid on its side with stuff on top. Worst of all we were missing 2 out of our 4 gun cases so there are a total of 4 lost guns, 2 of which are completely irreplacable (commemorative gun from deployment, childhood shotgun). THEY DO NOT TELL YOU THEY TRANSFER YOUR ITEMS WHICH EXPONENTIALLY INCREASES THE RISK OF DAMAGE. Our items were picked up in a truck, then unloaded in a warehouse while they built the route, loaded back in a truck, and transferred to another truck which did the cross country drive. All the guys which were so responsive before they picked up my stuff are now suddenly not answering texts or calls. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Very Satisfied! First contacted 24/7 for a quote in Jan. 2022. I was not ready to move at that time, but *** promised to follow up close to moving date. He did right about the time I was going to move. I have already called close to 10 companies who were charging close to double of 24/7 fee. The staff picking up my boxes were super careful with the contents, even tape-reinforcing my boxes when necessary. They worked in a very fast and organized manner. I was moving from one state to another. Once I reached my destination, I was called a few times with updates on delivery. Driver called me a few times when on it's way giving me updates on arrival time so that I could have plan myself accordingly. I work from home, so that was important to me. Delivery of my goods went flawless. All my belongings reached in great shape. Nothing was broken or scratched. The gentleman doing the unloading put all my belongings where I indicated with no complaints. The company still followed up with calls to inquire of my satisfaction with the service. I will used them again. Thanks 24/7 *** P
Got a call immediately after I made and on line inquiry for moving companies from ***, *** (a socialist state - I grew up there and watched it change) to the great state of AL. I was at work when I got a call, slightly annoyed at the INSTANT sales pitch to sign RIGHT NOW ("Which form of payment would you like to use to secure your move?" etc.). I was VERY clear, I have a three bedroom two bath home (on a hill with Mtn. views and sold for 1.7M), standard size furniture, some other furniture, some outside furniture etc. Sales person was very confident (because I ask lots of business questions) that I have a solid price for about $10K to move to which I said, "That is it?" He chuckled and said, "Yes," clearly glad that he made a quick sale. I made my instant downpayment and I was locked-in. As the process developed I was handed to the next level manager that "discovered" that I was priced VERY low and that he had NO idea HOW that could happen. He retorted to my strong protest to the increase from $10K to $30K for my move that he would do ANYTHING he could to make my move an enjoyable experience but, he could not lower my price, he stated, "We are not going to pay for your move." He did NOT do anything to make my move more enjoyable despite his hundreds of words. Period. The pain started as soon as we got off the phone with check-in calls - always during business hours - to go over ALL the details of my move (very annoying - consider appointments so professionals can PLAN). On the day of my move seven Eastern European guys showed up to move my expensive, life-long collection of items that are important to my family. They showed up at 2 PM despite the fact that I asked that they plan for the drive from , *** to the *** area much sooner than an approximate *** am departure which always takes MUCH longer than what the *** says (e.g., 2.5 hours can be 6.5 depending on several basic factors). BEWARE of this companys methods of quoting costs for a long distance move. They do not come out and give a binding estimate. I sent in many photos of household goods/furniture and gave them the necessary info on each room of furniture and belongings. They gave a Binding Moving Estimate of $12,688 & took my deposit and said someone would be in touch a week prior to scheduled move to review belongings. 2 days prior to the need to vacate our home, I was on the phone for almost 2 hours counting boxes and sizing boxes while going room to room. I basically did their job. At this point the price was about 35% higher than originally quoted. I Would never be able to find another moving company in 2 days. In addition they had my deposit. I believe this was purposely done and unethical. The movers were good and no damaged goods. It is the business end of this company that is fraudulent
The guys showed up right at 8 am and went to work. They moved me methodologically and QUICKLY, all in all it took 4hrs. They even had some wardrobe boxes for me to use for my hanging items and took a few things I didn't expect them to. They charged me a GREAT RATE, less than I expected to pay so I tipped the guys generously. Great movers highly recommend I will for sure call them next time I move.
We made arrangements months in advance and all looked great
We made arrangements months in advance and all looked great. Checked with them 30 days out, checked a week out they said all was fine. We had arranged for a 53 foot moving truck exclusive for our move, paid our deposit and were confident we were covered. Our belongings were to be moved from California to Tennessee directly with nothing being removed from the truck until delivered. The day of the move 24/7 logistics showed up with 2 beat up rental trucks and said the would move our belongings to some storage facility. When we called *** he stated he had informed us of the change, he lied. We got his message 3 days after the scheduled move.
He became very argumentative and tried to blame us for 24/7 Logistics inability to perform.
Then he had the audacity to raise the price on our fixed firm contract by $3000 and when, being stuck with new owners ready to move in he decided to increase this to $8000. We were given no option either pay up or cancel. With no option for the 53 foot truck and no choice but to pay for there lack of service we were forced to cancel. We ended up having to move our belongings to local storage now paying for 4 storage units in California and another in TN which remained empty
plus an apartment in TN with no furniture. 24/7 logistics left us hanging and couldn't care less about
the situation they left us in. Their only solution was to return our deposit. These guys are the most
unreliable company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. BEWARE Also worth noting
*** the moving coordinator who assured us he would be available to help if any problems arose
was of no help whatsoever, he bailed on us as well. 24/7 logistics failure to preform has cost us thousands of dollars and untold mental anguish.
The team was so fast, totally on time and really amazing. *** move SO EASY FOR US and also very affordable considering the extra miles and effort required. Definitely hire them again and you'll have a great move.
They arrived on time and immediately went to work. They were SUPER POLITE and took amazing care of my things, even delivering my glass aquarium and full length mirror in perfect condition. Once everything was moved in, they looked at the pieces of my IKEA bed which I had dismantled for the move and asked if I wanted them to put that back together for me. I enthusiastically said yes and within twenty minutes they had perfectly put together the bed that had taken me an hour to take apart! I was so relieved to have one fewer thing to do. Overall, awesome company that I would recommend to anyone.
24/7 Logistic Services helped us unpack two pods and did it in record time. The two workers that came the second time to help. These guys WORKK SO HARD and do it with a smile. We had to move a TON of small and medium sized items along with some big potted plants and a washer and dryer that had to be dropped off at another location. It was really nice and showed these guys dedication to their work. Highly recommended. Thank you again!
I cannot recommend 24/7 Logistic Services enough! With only two people, they helped wrap large furniture pieces, disassemble + reassemble furniture, and were very careful with everything that was moved. They were EXTREMELY PUNCTUAL and EFFICIENT throughout the entire process.

Where to begin?
Where to begin? Well first, I asked for full packing services, which the salesman assured me was included on my estimate. When I called to confirm this before my move, he confirmed it again. Imagine my horror when the movers come to my house, unpacked, and they tell me they are not packing up my things for me. The mover was incredibly rude, "mansplaining" what my estimate should have looked like for a full pack. He haggled with me. He passive aggressively complained that there were items I needed moved that were not on the inventory (a plant stand that weighed all of 2 pounds!). We both kept trying to get in touch with the company regarding the mishap of the full pack, but neither of us could get hold of them for hours. That's the thing with this company. Once they have your money, you will never hear from them again. I literally had to pretend I was a new customer, filling out a questionnaire online for a new move, to get in contact with the company. Of course within minutes of sending the form, a new salesman called, as nice as can be. When I explained to him that I had to "trick" the company, he was very rude. He told me to call the main line and I could get a hold of someone. I explained that I had been unable to get a hold of someone through the main line, and he literally said: "So now you're calling me a liar?!?!" I was also told that this company does not use brokers to move the items. Based on my interaction with the movers that came to my house (and left packaging shrapnel everywhere, btw), and how even they couldn't get in contact with the main office, that seems like lie. It has been two weeks since the movers picked up my things from California. Guess where my stuff is currently? CALIFORNIA. It hasn't even made it onto a delivery truck. The salesman led me to believe that it likely would only be 5-7 days maximum to get my stuff. What a joke. Also pay attention to how the company somehow has the time to respond to all of its negative reviews on Yelp and other venues. And pay attention to *howthey respond to the reviews - denying, belittling, overall rudeness. It blows my mind that anyone has more than one star to give to this company. Do not make the same mistake I did. Do not use this company.
If you're thinking about using this company for a long distance move, don't
If you're thinking about using this company for a long distance move, don't. Horrible experience from beginning to end. The sales team over promises and under delivers every step of the way. Nothing they say can be trusted. NOTHING. Low ball estimate that ended up being thousands more. 2 salesmen each told me "1-3 weeks" to deliver from CT to AZ. I called in the 3rd week only to be told it's not exactly 3 weeks - it's 21 BUSINESS DAYS. I had requested pick up on a Friday so I would have 2 days of the 4 days drive time over a weekend because of work issues. Sales said sure, they would make that a priority. Pick up was Saturday. I was told there would be 3-5 men on the pick up. There were 2. About 2 ½ hours in a 3rd showed up. They were at the house from 11:30 a.m. until after 8 p.m. and it was a 2 bedroom house, less than 1000 sq ft!. These people are liars. Sales told me I could pay the final payment by credit card. Nope, that was a lie. We had multiple broken items THEY PACKED included a signed print that was ruined because shards of broken glass scraped a large portion of the surface. It can't be repaired. Boxes marked fragile and/or which side up showed up upside down and sideways, some with almost rounded corners. A wooden hand-crafted quilt ladder they were supposed to wrap showed up in multiple pieces. The plaster carved frame on a large round antique mirror that was my grandmother's has a huge chunk of the plaster missing. I gave them the box it had shipped perfectly to me in. When I first got it, it was the only thing in the box. These guys packed my signed print in the box with the mirror along with 2 particle board shelves from a credenza. No wonder anything breakable in that box was broken! It was stuffed and had insufficient packing material. Besides these things there were shattered ceramics and collectibles as well, but nothing approaching the same value. And I didn't keep the shards of broken glass and ceramic on those either to weigh them. Overall they were disrespectful to the truth and careless with our belongings. It was an outrageously expensive and disappointing experience. If you care about honesty when doing business, if you care about your belongings, this is not the company for you. ZERO stars from me but that wasn't allowed so, 1.
The only time the company was willing to talk to us was before the pick up
The only time the company was willing to talk to us was before the pick up. As soon as the pick up happened communications stopped. Everyone was so nice and made it seem like this was going to be the best experience ever! It was not! The pick up guys were supposed to call between 12-2pm to give us a 30 min heads up, at 2:30pm when they called, they told us that they would be there probably around 5pm. After they looked at all the boxes and stuff we were taking they said we lied about how much we had and they needed another truck and another crew. They didn't start to wrap the furniture until 7pm because they also didn't want to do the packing that day and said they weren't sure what they were going to do. At 8pm they disappeared for about an hour. At 9:30pm the 2nd crew and truck showed up, they offered the 1st crew food so they all disappeared for a while again. About 10pm they really started to pack the truck and wrap and disassembled the furniture. Around 12:30am they said maybe another 30-45mins and that our stuff was less than 1 truck. Around 1am I looked outside cuz there was no one in the house anymore, they were all sitting outside on our furniture laughing and joking very loudly. At 1:45am we started the payment process, not knowing that we couldn't use zelle because we hadn't established a relationship with the company yet. When we bought up these concerns to the Quality assurance person, we were given a scripted response. Besides being overcharged for the stairs, we basically just wanted quality assurance to be aware of the quality of the service we had received up until that point. We had scheduled the delivery for the 7th, we called about every other day to find out where our stuff was, and we were told we'd get a call when the stuff was loaded on the truck and then it'd be 48-72 hrs before we'd get it. On the 18th at noon, the driver texted saying he'd be there at 8am the next morning. When we got our stuff, boxes were crushed and some were opened, and glass table top (packed and protected by the movers) was smashed. Luckily the delivery crew was much more communicative then anyone else and would say when they were going to take breaks. The only thing that didn't happen with the delivery crew was that they said someone was going to call to discuss the table the next day, after 4 days of no call we called them.
Terrible service all around!
Terrible service all around! From the terrible estimate which was off by over $3k, to the lack of communication before my move, to the actual moving company which was hired to do this job, it was all an absolute disaster! The packing of many items shipped was flat out horrendous! All in all, my move was a $9K full pack move and it was totally unacceptable! False information was giving about the professionalism of the movers as many items were unpacked poorly, causing major damages. There were boxes half full and much damages. Getting someone to respond to your calls was horrendous. This company also recommended another broker to ship my car from PA to FL and they were rude, dates were changed on me after I left PA and they charged me an extra $200 after giving me a flat rate once I booked with them. Then when I complained they told me too bad, cancel or find or another broker! As far as the move itself, Here is a list of the issues identified, which the movers can confirm themselves: - Cracked and broken upper center piece of an entertainment center I purchased at Ashley's furniture. Center piece attaches 2 other pieces of the wall unit and now its ruined. Was not packed properly. - 2 wooden end tables that were supposed to go in my living room are ruined. One has a leg severely cracked and the other has 2 broken legs. Can never be used again. Legs were not taken off and overall was packed careless. - 2 legs of my dining room table were damage with severe cracks and wood that detached from the legs. Legs are not packed properly. - Right side of my computer desk is severely cracked and is now wobbly and does not stand properly. Was packed and secured very poorly. - 2 wheels from a brand-new computer chair were broken off. Wheels were never taken off when packed and nothing secured the bottom of the chair causing the wheels to break. Chair cannot be used. - Missing bed frame screws and nuts as notated by the delivery driver. I had to send my wife to Home Depot a half hour away to buy screws so my bed could be mounted by the delivery driver before he left. Totally unacceptable! - Missing screws from one of my TV stands. I had to personally go back to Home Depot that evening to buy screws to mount my TV on its stand! - Numerous broken glasses due to poor packing! at least 3 boxes were packed "halfway" to the top! Unacceptable considering, I could've had lees boxes to be transported had they been packed to the brim! Also, as you'll notice in one of the pictures, stuff totally just thrown in boxes! - Missing power cord to 1 of my TV'S! I still can't find it and I am going to have to order a new power cord from Samsung just to get this TV to work! All in all, a horrible experience! I have never had such a bad experience EVER! With any other moving company! I am a regional manager for a retail company, and i was bred that Customer Service is always of utmost importance, but this experience has been unforgettable. I will never ever recommend this company to anyone! EVER!
BEWARE! 24/7 Logistic Services was a NIGHTMARE from beginning to end
BEWARE! 24/7 Logistic Services was a NIGHTMARE from beginning to end. My experience with the company led me to conclude that they were *** and ***. *** behavior was apparent from the salesperson, who promised to be available from pick up to delivery, yet he never answered his phone after receiving the deposit. The movers followed deceitful practices to increase pricing. Within five minutes of arriving, the movers asked for $6000 more. Once moved, the logistics office person stated that my things were at an offsite area sitting for 15 days even though they were supposed to arrive in seven days. She would not give me the location so that another company I hired could move my things. The trucker who delivered the furniture insisted on cash or post office money orders only. The agreement states that a cashier's check is acceptable, but he refused it. Did I mention that everyone was named ***? They refused to give real names or last names.
24/7 Logistics was supposed to send a semi-truck to load my things once, and then they would be delivered. They sent two rented moving trucks. They did not have enough space and left items like dressers, rugs, lamps, garden equip. etc. All these items were on the list to be shipped. They drove off without saying they were gone. I had to insist that they bring a third truck. They still left $3500 worth of items. I had to pay to have it hauled away.
The move was supposed to take seven days. Instead, they offloaded the furniture to a logistics center on the west coast, where my things sat for 15 days. Meanwhile, my packed boxes were opened and ransacked; items were damaged and ***. I contacted another moving company to pick up my items since they were not moving. 24/7 Logistics would not tell me where they were so the legitimate company could come and move them. My things were held hostage.
The driver who insisted on cash or post office money orders called the night before to say that he would not offload anything before being paid in full. He also tried to force me to sign a paper saying I received all the goods before opening the door to the moving van. I refused. He would not give me his full name because he said I did not need to know it. Later, he also said his name was ***!
It will cost $7000 to repair the damage they caused. The movers left behind $3500 worth of my goods. 24/7 Logistics offered to settle my claim for $643. I had to wait 119 days of the 120 days by contract to learn of their offer. They thought $643 was fair. Did I mention the movers and the drivers were Russian? They were all named ***.
THAT'S NOT ALL... After being paid in full for my damaged items, 24/7 Logistics submitted my file to a collection attorney to get an additional $5500. I took pictures of the money orders and the person receiving them. It was my proof that I paid them. They still did not want to drop the case.
BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! They told me they fixed all their problems at the time of the sale. I AM TELLING YOU THEY DID NOT!
Run in the other direction
Run in the other direction. I will be reaching out to Consumer Affairs about this company, as they came recommended.***, the foreman, hustled me out of $600.
A full 12 hours after they were supposed to arrive, 24/7 showed up at my house. My move process began with paperwork saying I would be responsible for the total square footage in the truck vs. the total square footage of my belongings. I thought this was a huge red flag: if my financial responsibility is the square footage within the TRUCK, shouldn't the paperwork be signed once the truck is loaded and the actual square footage is known? It was like signing a blank check, and I told him I was very uncomfortable doing that. He explicitly told me that the cost from my estimate would not go up due to the buffer space I had booked. He literally said, "trust me, it's my job to make sure this is loaded properly, that number from your estimate will not go up." He also refused to begin loading my things until the paperwork was signed. So, I decided to do as *** said and "trust him."
Mistake. He called me out to the curb at the end of their loading process to show me how many "extra" cubic feet my things had taken up. He said it would cost an additional $400-600, and added, "you can see we did a good job loading, this is fair." I told him I thought fair would be standing by his word, or allowing me to sign the paperwork once the truck was loaded so I knew my financial responsibility. He asked me how I would like to proceed. Since he conveniently had left the largest articles of furniture (my couch, desk, and headboard) as the last to load, I didn't even have the option to transport these items in my car to save the extra cost. Since they were so late arriving, it was 11:30 PM by the time we had this conversation, and I couldn't arrange for a Uhaul. I told him I think he knew I had no other choice but to keep going and pay the additional cost.
After that, his behavior toward me was downright contentious until he left my home. When he put a large dent in my wall moving my headboard, I asked if something could be done about it. He said "call the company" and walked away. I was not surprised in the least when my desk arrived at my new house smashed to pieces, and the box containing my irreplaceable Christmas ornaments was completely concave.
After playing phone tag for a week with customer service, *** agreed to send me a courtesy check of $100 to put towards a new desk and to prevent me writing this honest review. He said customer service would reach out shortly to help me file a claim for my desk and to arrange the courtesy check. Given that I never heard from them again, I figured it was time to leave this here.
TLDR:
1. They low-ball the estimate, and jack up the price by charging for extra truck space, tape for their moving blankets (?!) and stairs. (My actual cost was $800 higher than estimate).
2. The attentive customer service you receive from the sales team is completely opposite from the experience you will have with dispatch and the movers on the truck.
3. Your belongings will not be treated with care, and some of them will arrive broken.
If, for some weird reason, you decide to move forward with this moving company: transport anything important yourself in your own car. TV, electronics, sentimental items, any tax or financial documents. And for the love of God, don't pay for the "buffer space," it's a total sham.
Overall, we had a very good experience with 24/7 Logistic Services!
Overall, we had a very good experience with 24/7 Logistic Services! As with any move, there were some stresses and a few issues, but for customer care and communication they really went above and beyond! Every staff member that we dealt with, from the initial contact to the final delivery crew, treated us with respect, kindness, patience, and professionalism. Our pick-up was from a large city with limited parking and they knew we needed pickup on a certain day due to a parking permit we had purchased. They worked hard to rearrange things and get us picked up when we needed it. The pickup and delivery crews worked carefully and quickly and were friendly and knowledgeable. Karen and Liz (in the main office) patiently took my calls every day as we worked through some of the details and issues of our move. Our delivery truck broke down on the way to us, and 24/7 jumped into action to get a new crew to our truck, make the transfer, and get the delivery to us as quickly as possible. John, the driver, did more than expected to keep us updated and informed. Throughout our entire move, we felt like each person truly cared about doing the best that they could for us and were willing to make us feel heard when we had questions or complaints. Shout out to Chris, Sam, Scott, Arthur, Karen, Liz, John, and both moving crews. Our only issues with 24/7 were as follows: 1. Our biggest frustration was an unexpectedly low initial estimate. At our first contact we stressed very strongly that we needed to work within a fairly narrow budget. Our first contact was just to find out if it would be possible for them to move us for our budgeted amount and if we could afford to use them. After a long phone call where we actually measured each item we planned to move, we were given an estimate that fell within our budget. Knowing that any changes to our inventory would change our estimated amount, we worked VERY hard to stay within that list. If we needed to add anything as we were preparing, we were very careful to remove something comparable from the list. We expected some fluctuation, since estimates can never be exact. We budgeted for the possibility of an extra hundred dollars or so. But, the final amount was a HUGELY surprising $800 above the estimate! Even the customer service rep agreed that our initial inventory list and the final bill of lading were very close, and he was also unsure why the initial estimate was so far off. (The exact numbers of items changed, but some of that change comes from the fact that, once disassembled, a dining table what was one piece initially becomes 3-4 pieces when apart.) So, this was very difficult since we truly could not afford to go that far over budget and are now left struggling to do other things we need to do. As a positive note however: each person I spoke with listened patiently and made me feel heard. We are still hopeful that the company will offer at least a slight discount to acknowledge that it was hard for us to make a wise, informed decision without a more accurate initial estimate. 2. We did have a couple of scratched pieces (dining table and coffee table). To their credit, the office immediately told us how to file a claim and sent us the information and form immediately. 3. Our delivery took a few days longer than the 2-7 day average listed. But, we acknowledge that it was a busy moving month and spanned a holiday weekend. Overall, a positive experience if you are using movers. It was our first time after many times of doing it ourselves, and there are definitely pros and cons to the process with movers. But 24/7 made it as good as it co

I wanted to take some time after my horrific experience to put together a review that was not emotional but was real
I wanted to take some time after my horrific experience to put together a review that was not emotional but was real.
The beginning of this experience back in May was amazing...our sales person *** could sell ice cubes to an Eskimo on a sub zero day. He made us feel confident, he made us feel that 24/7 was the best thing since sliced bread.
Unfortunately after we left our deposit that's where the "warm and fuzzy's" ended.
We had a call with 24/7 a few days prior to them arriving at the end of June to pick up our stuff. We were moving from a house in NJ to a 10x20 storage unit in South Carolina (mainly boxes and minimal furniture). We reviewed what we were bringing and we must of had more stuff than original since the quote was almost $2,500 more (I personally think they low balled the original...but who am I...and done by VOLUME?) and being a few days before we moved we were stuck paying.
On moving day (I had to work and my wife handled the move) they showed up around 2pm with a half full box truck and started moving our belongings. When I arrived home at 5pm they were gone but there was still stuff that did not fit in the truck? I called and was told another truck was on the way? WTF who shows up at a move with a half full truck and cant fit the clients stuff? at around 7:30 -8 pm another 24' box truck showed up with 3 different people (I believe the guy said they came from Maryland) and put the remaining items on the truck and they left.
We discussed the 1st date that we would be available was July14th...that sounds easy...well the 1st day "available" is not the 1st day the customer is "available" its the 1st day that 24/7 "THINKS ABOUT" loading your belongings on a truck (as it was explained to me by the nice person on the phone) and I was told they had 7 working days after our 1st day to deliver (I was also told they deliver every day but New Years by the rep I was on the phone with...and it was 10 days...but evidently not the offices 10 days, it was only 7?). I received a call the following week that our belongings were loaded on a truck and heading south. The driver would call me with an arrival date. The driver called me on Wednesday and said he would see me Friday afternoon 7/23 or Saturday morning 7/24.
The driver called me and said he would see me Friday afternoon
The driver called me the morning of the 23rd and said can a tractor trailer fit at the storage unit. I stopped at the storage place and the person that runs it said "if he is a really talented driver he can fit here" and that's what I told him. He shows up at 3pm on Friday and cant make the turn into the storage unit?
Now he had to find a rental U-Haul truck and off load off site and bring it to our storage unit, THAT COST US $1,250 MORE DOLLARS WTF...they didn't pick it up in a tractor trailer why would they deliver in one.
And of course my wife spoke to the VP of 24/7 (another POS) and of course its in the fine print that they deliver out of state in a tractor trailer. The driver could not get a truck till Saturday so I had to wait another day for my belongings. And the shape of the boxes that a whole other story...and are all my belongings there? again who actually knows
So my move cost me OVER $5,000 more than we expected or thought we would be paying after the awesome sales job by their top sales person.
So my advise is...STAY AWAY!
Moving is a stressful time and 24/7 logistics made it 100 times worse.
Maybe they do better with "in state moves"? but I know this...I will never call them again. I will risk calling their competition that their sales person was so gracious to trash...
Short version: take your money elsewhere
Short version: take your money elsewhere. I was swindled out of an additional ~1000$, they lost sentimental items of mine, and lost my final weight ticket (I'm in the Army). They refused to use a highly frequented road. Left blood on my couch and floor. Etc
The full details as follows:
I am an active duty military member who was moving his family to N.C. To preface, I have moved to the heart of San Francisco and Los Angeles. So I have experienced some hectic moving environments. Moving my family to the south with spacious streets, far less dense populations, and larger rooms I figured this would be my easiest move ever.
Sadly, this was my worst moving experience yet. After reading many reviews, I had a general trust for 24/7. I expected to spend a little extra when they came to pick up my stuff and put it on the truck. They asked for an additional ~400$. I didn't really sweat it at the time. I expected it from reviews.
But then they got to N.C. and let me know id now be paying an additional 550$. Bringing my total move up to ~4K dollars.
Why this fee? Well the First Women I spoke to (*** from Leo United the company 24/7 partners with) said it wasn't safe for the truck to come down the road by my home. They needed to rent a smaller one to drive into the complex. I stated that I'd seen several trucks use that road or simply drive into the complex. In fact, my apartment complex Explicitly told me to use it. So, I wished to inquire further. She didn't even entertain the idea and threatened to change my delivery date if I didn't comply now. I was shocked with the hostility... so I asked to speak to a manager and she blatantly said "no." Never, in all my years, have I even asked to speak to a manager and then I receive that reply? She stuttered and realized that wasn't a good reply after I repeated "no..?" back to her and she then said, "they actually aren't available."
Later that evening *** from 24/7 called back on her behalf. She was/is great. I can't complain about her; she's clearly a lovely woman. She then claimed that instead it is now just illegal for them to use this road and I realized there was no winning and they have my personal goods. Plus, this nicer tone made it a slightly easier pill to swallow. So, I knew I was going to take the financial hit if I ever wanted to see my couch again... (550$ is a significant portion of my paycheck though).
In the end:
- the truck drivers lost some of my items. Most importantly a cooler that my wife got me for Christmas that I had yet to get to use.
- because I signed not realizing I was missing items such as the cooler, Insurance said they can't help me.
- they Lost my weight ticket. (Those of you in the service know how detrimental that is in a Didi/PPM despite them claiming they do military moves all the time)
- Failed to put together some of the furniture they disassembled.
- One of them also clearly cut his hand. Because he Left blood on my floor and on my couch. (I wish I had gotten photos before cleaning)
I was going to just keep moving forward and let bygones be bygones. I waited several months to hear back from the insurance. As I waited, I watched dozens of moving company use this road. Thus, I couldn't keep quiet. I feel swindled. Why does every other company feel fine using this road? But I have to pay an additional 550$?
Note: it won't let me attach photos for some reason but I have tons of photos that show trucks loading and unloading both inside the complex and on the road that we asked them to use. Sometimes truckers will leave their trailers there for weeks on end.
From the comfort of my porch I could take photos of other people moving and not being charged an additional 1k$.
Cheers.
I feel it important to list the main questions you should be asking before accepting a quote on having your household moved by a moving company
I feel it important to list the main questions you should be asking before accepting a quote on having your household moved by a moving company. You should be asking how much they charge per cubic foot. Ask them to describe to you how much the cubic feet actually is as far as room dimensions so that you have a realistic idea on how much truck you will fill with your belongings. Don't rely on the sales person to communicate this properly. Do your research. For delivery date, ask if it is guaranteed or if it is window of time. What happens if they go beyond that window of time? And lastly, how they want the last payment on delivery paid. Below is the experience I had with 24/7 Logistics and I do not recommend this company at all to be in the running for a bid.
On June 26th I decided to research moving companies as my husband and I were planning on moving within the next year. So I filled out a survey and received a phone call from ***. I explained to *** that we didn't have an idea on when we would be moving but we would be and we would be moving to Las Vegas from Santa Clara (bay area)CA. Initially she asked me how big of a place I have and I told her we had a 2 bedroom 1 bath duplex just under 1000 sq. ft. She then quoted me at 3k with $750 for full service which means the movers come and do that packing as well. What she did not review with me is that what she was quoting on is 700 cubic feet. Even if she had quoted on it, it was my reliance on this moving company to know how many cubic feet a 2 bedroom can fit into. So let me explain what 700 cubic feet is. It is equivalent to 1 bedroom (9x9x9). So imagine having a 2 bedroom with 2 beds, bedroom furniture, kitchen, dining room, living room furniture, as well as the garage fit into a 1 bedroom for packing. This is not realistic. We did not discover this error until in mid august I gave her a call and we went over inventory. She then upped my original $3750 quote to $6700 in which I was not happy with, but after discussing the inventory, I approved it. September 8th, the movers show up. They then quoted me at 10k (total) because of the space it took up to load up the truck. They would not load the truck unless I agreed to the 10k. At this point I should've told them to leave, but we had already made plans to be moved into Vegas the last weekend of September. The movers were instructed that the delivery date (2 weeks away) would be Sept 26th. My husband even took the following week off in order to assist with unpacking and getting the house set up. The mover was supposed to give me a final copy of the receipt at the end of the night, but it never showed up in my email. So I tried calling *** to find out where the final bill of lading was. She referred me to the Quality control person, ***. I left a message for *** and didn't get a return phone call until the next day. In addition, I requested the final bill of lading and I got it on Wednesday. When reviewing the bill of lading I found out that the mover had written down the wrong date for delivery. They wrote down Sept 29th, not Sept 26 which was originally requested. I tried contacting ***, *** (the dispatcher) and didn't get a response until 2 days later! The customer service with this company not only knows how to mislead, but they also know how not to answer the phone. I finally get a phone call back. And am told that they changed the date but not guaranteed for delivery on this day. "So let me get this straight, your movers made a mistake on the bill of lading, in addition I had to hound you for the bill of lading and now you are going to delay my delivery" was my response.
My husband and I arrived in Vegas on the 25th of September. We did not get delivery until October 5th and my husband was gone at this point. This was supposed to be delivered within 5 days of the date, 10 DAYS LATER! Do not make the same mistake I did and trust that the service you are paying for is what you are getting. for the final payment. Keep that in mind when choosing a company. Be wise when making your move. Ask the right questions. Learn from my bad experience.

Unable to contact someone. Dishonest and difficult to work with. Will not provide honest and accurate information about my move. Every time I have called them I have not gotten the same information. They have failed to provide any information about when my belongings would be delivered. I was not provided with any information on where my belongings would be stored or secured until the move. They have been rude and condescending when I have spoken with them on the phone.

I hired 24 7 Logistice to move me from Lafayette, IN to Fort Myers, FL
I hired 24 7 Logistice to move me from Lafayette, IN to Fort Myers, FL. They were late in delivering the items to my Florida Address. Material was picked up in Indiana on 6/16. Final delivery to my Florida address was 27 working days...so it was 6 days later than they guaranteed. Also, they destroyed a lot of my personal items. I have attached several pictures. I filed a claim with the insurance company and they came back with ridiculous *** settlement offer. They destroyed a $5000 king mattress with heavy duty adjustable base. The mattress was torn at the seams, and got wet during storage. They snapped the ends off of the adjustable base. They also tore another mattress plus it got wet during storage (along with a great deal of my boxes). I believe I should get a refund for a portion of what I've paid (for both the extreme damage and late delivery).

I selected 24/7 Logistics company to do a move from Chicago, IL to Riverview FL
I selected 24/7 Logistics company to do a move from Chicago, IL to Riverview FL. The agreed upon delivery time was two weeks. Our goods were picked up on 6/28, it's been over two weeks. I called the company several times. First I was told they can't find a driver; then was told driver is getting ready to load; next was driver unable to load our goods. When I asked for a estimated delivery time, I was told they don't know. We waited patiently for goods thinking it'll be in FL in two weeks. Now we are incurring extra expenses because we don't have any househood goods. My parents are both 74 yrs sleeping on the hardwood floors because we thought our beds will be delivered in two weeks. I had to go out to purchase extra mattress so they don't hurt their backs. These are unnecessary costs had our 24/7 Logistics fulfilled their agreement. I need our goods shipped to FL ASAP and I need to know a time frame. 24/7 Logistics should be responsible for all the extra costs incurred.

24/7 Logistics preyed on my ignorance in the moving process
24/7 Logistics preyed on my ignorance in the moving process. I called a number of companies in March for a move I was planning in June. I received a number of quotes from different companies and theirs came back the most competitive. Little did I know they were about to play all of their schemes on me. Attached are four different estimates I received. 1st a general estimate, which was very low and caught my attention. 2nd I received an updated estimate after they had done an audio walk through of my home with me. 3rd, they contacted me 3 days before my move and asked for an update on my inventory. I was shocked to see that our quote went up more than 50%. I was feeling the pressure of the move and decided to proceed. The last document is an updated quote. They expected me to pay for the whole truck! I had a bad feeling about the whole thing and said I would not be continuing their services. I believe they were deceptive and should refund my deposit. Please help me and help others!

These guys were terrific! I especially appreciated the care they put into ensuring that things were taken apart/put back together in the proper way and making sure things were moved in a way that nothing was damaged (e.g., putting padding on my car as they needed to walk by it and taking time to maneuver things in the proper way). I wish I could give them an EXTRA STAR for being so professional and easy to work with. GOOD STUFF.
They had our office moved on Saturday, on time, on budget and with NO HASSLE whatsoever. Thanks 24/7 Logistic Services!
Initially 24/7 logistics seemed expensive but a decent option for a state to state move. The pick-up of my household items was adequate but no care was taken to protect the property (rugs, doors). Several boxes I had marked to not be packed were moved to the truck without permission and inventory was not corrected once I noted this problem. When my delivery occurred, it was clear that only the driver (if him) was employed by the company. Workers were local and had been called that day. Towards end of day I realized my 8 foot ladder had not been delivered. I mentioned this to driver and he told me it would be on the next truck. I texted him to document this but never heard back. All of my floor lamps, which were packed/wrapped by 24/7 Logistics arrived broken. A leg was broken off of a chair. My ladder, multiple photographs (packed in portrait boxes), and at least one fully packed suitcase were never delivered. My attempts to get reimbursed for these items has been entirely unsuccessful. In the case of the ladder, this is particularly infuriating as I mentioned it to the driver, texted the driver about it, and emailed 24/7 logistics about it that day. I was misled into believing that my verbal, text and email reportings were sufficient documentation (at least enough to even out my signing the inventory upon delivery). I have filed formal claims, I have explained I felt pressured to sign the inventory, I have provided documentation and Ive been essentially told its my fault for letting the driver push me around. Although this is my first move with this company, I have moved cross country and internationally multiple times. I understand items get lost or broken, but belittling your clients and labeling nearly every item in the same generic way (small box packed by owner) is a recipe for unprofessionalism and negligence. Sadly, I cannot, therefore, recommend this service.
The process of setting up our move was very smooth. The employees who packed and moved out household goods were quick and efficient. My only problem was the price difference from what I was quoted on the phone and my actual charges. I understand the difficulty of estimating over the phone but once the process starts it is difficult to stop it so you are stuck with the higher price.
