Cancel it by saying it was a fruadulant charge. Tell your credit card company you have no idea how they got your card regardless. Since these guys are crooks it takes acting like one to get your money back. . . So be it

My bank said, "Oh no! Another fraud complaint on ACAI Berry!" They told me I had to cancel my card and report it because they have received many of these and I want to add that I called the company and they could "not find my account" and told me to follow the prompt toward the credit card. Also, I want to add that it gave migrane headaches and vomitting and nausea for 48 hours and made me DEATHLY ILL!. DON'T TAKE THIS PRODUCT!

We're sorry to hear that your information was stolen to place several fraudent orders with different companies including ours with your card. You are a victim of identity theft. For orders placed with GNS for the Acai Berry Edge, the orders have to be placed with a credit card that matches the billing address and expiration date and you also have to provide the CVV code. The only way to get the CVV code is from the back of your card. So someone must have had all of this information in order to place the order.

In order to disable the order and for us to file it and close it as a fraudent order. We need a police report. Once we have a copy for our records we can disable the order and ensure nothing will be billed or sent to collections.

Please contact us at [protected] so we can assist you. We are here Monday to Friday 7am to 10pm MDT and Saturday and Sunday 8am to 5pm MDT.

Hope to hear from you soon and assist you

Sincerely

Supervisor at GNS

Same thing occurred to me last week. I suddenly began receiving multiple fraud orders for trial products including acaiberry. In addition, I also began receiving an influx of junk mail and unidentified calls. I think I have traced it with relation to a site I ordered from a little over a month ago. My credit card company immediately contacted me and all charges made against me have been voided. But seeing how the people selling these products have had so many complaints surprised me quite a bit to the great length they have scammed people and yet nothing has been done about the, at all. They should be persecuted.

GNS, a "police report"? How do I even get a police report on a fraudulent credit charge? Seriously, who is going to go to that length to refund a $3 charge. And what is GNS anyway? I didn't say my false purchase was made on a site called GNS. If GNS is the manufacturer, then something seriously suspect is going on with your distributors. And you seem to be well aware of this too; clicking on your profile name shows you've made 41 comments, all apologizing for false charges made by Acai Berry.

If you're a legit vendor, I don't think you're doing yourself any favors associating yourself with this product!

To: Chris G

The offer for our Acai Berry Edge is usually buy now, pay later 21 day free trial. So the first billing is usually for the shipping and handling and then 21 days later the billing for the product is billed. Usually, 2 bottles of our Acai Berry Edge are sent with each order, at a cost of $39.95. So 21 days after the shipping charge, the $79.90 billing is attempted for those two trial bottles.

The police report is required so you can get the shipping refunded and the $79.90 charge disabled and future shipments cancelled.

GNS stands for Global Nutrition Sciences. We sell the Acai Berry Edge product.

Hope this answers your questions.

Sincerely

I received trial offer and my Dr. told me to get off of this diet, so I mailed the product back, received confirmation it was received, and the co is still charging my bank card. They are denying that they received the product back, but I have confirmation that it was delivered back on May 4, 2009. Instead of cancelling the money from my account, they keep billing for other products that I cancelled and never received! Please take care of this problem and refund my account the money you people keep charging my account! Respectfully, Cleo H Barnes

I did order one free sample of Acai Berry and only was responsible for $4.95 shipping unaware of the fine print associated with this website. My Visa was charged $13.95 for this, I did get $9.00 back and returned that bottle. Then on [protected], I received another bottle of Acai Berry and was charged $69.95 to my Visa card. I was unable to get a call to the number on the bottle and I have been trying to get this taken of my card, then today [protected] another bottle of Acai Berry came in the mail. I called the number I found in you complaints [protected], I did reach someone and was given a confirmation #166169, that I would not receive any more shipments. I think this is a disgrace that you credit card can be charged without your knowledge of this. I will try to contact Visa and maybe this will not happen again. I will never be fooled into anything free again. Please post, maybe it will help someone. Vicki

I purchased Acai berry and Colon Cleanse for shipping only 1.98 and 2.04 on 5/14/09, for which I was billed. On 5/18/09 another 40.74 was deducted from my account, on 5/26/09 another 87.73 was deducted. I did not authorize these deductions. I have contacted the company and was given the run around. After getting rather upset I was given a cancellation confirmation number and was told the refunds department would be contacting me in two to three days. Something should be done about this type of fraud.

Do you know the thing about the trial period? You should cancel within that time frame or else they'll charge your account with the full amount of the product. Basically, that's what happened to you. You should call immediately their helpline; it's [protected]. Better fix this situation right away.

I ordered acai berry on 5/6/9 and then cancelled it the same day. The woman on the phone said it was ok, because the order didn't go in yet. Then on 5/13/09 i get a notice in my p.o. box that there was a package for me. I refused the package. the p.o. said that this goes thru to your internet & I won't be charged. Today I received my monthly statement & I've been charged $83.13 for a product I don't have nor want & cancelled the same day. Please credit my account for $83.13 & I will check with my credit account company, to make sure that this is taken care of. Respectfully Natalie Lagnese

a.vaverek,
I just got billed on my charge card the same amount from the same people... Their 800# was listed on my card statement. They said I will get a full refund, but I dont trust them at all. The are very shady on the phone. So I wrote my card company explaining how I gave permission for the free trial, and to pay for shipping and handleling, but not for a 87.00 dollar charge for the "free sample". Thats what they said I was being charged for, not even a NEW bottle!

Maybe your bank can help you find out who they are, until then... Im running my mouth to EVERYONE I know about this scam! Screw Dr. OZ! Thanks Oprah, you could have warned us all about all the scams FIRST!

Scam... I ordered the free trial of Acai for the cost of shipping and handling, which I paid, and which an additional $.16 foreign transaction fee was paid, around May 5. Two days after receiving the product I called and cancelled any further produce, which I never received. I made a complaint with my bank and asked that no further deductions be made with this company. The gave me a temporary credit. I then had to submit a letter with details.
On May 20 a charge, of $82.31 plus the $2.46 foreign transaction fee was again withdrawn from my checking acount. After the first fiasco, while checking my account, as I do every week, I see they have deducted another $82.31 plus the $2.46 foreign transaction fee. Since it's Sunday, I can't call my bank and there is no response at the Acai number shown on my bank statement and the number listed for customer service is naturally closed today. I will contact my bank tomorrow and make another attempt with Acai to stop them from withdrawing any additional funds from my account. I have never received any additional product other than the 14 day trial supply. Have since learned that two other ladies in my office have experienced this same rip off.

I order the acai advanced and then seen all the complaints, so immediatley i went to my bank and cancelled my card and got a new one, they assured me it would not allow them to charge anything on my new one and they said if you purchase online alot you should use a credit card, not debit because, it is easier and faster to stop unwanted charges because of pending things.Hope i helped... this is just sad.

I ordered acai berry pills from my email and was asked to pay 3.95 for shipping was later charged by two other companies tied in with acaiburn that debited my account 9.95 twice and a 59.95 charge from acaiburn as well. After calling all three companies and getting the run around about canceling, I started to threatening to write counsumer affairs and I sent the product back and a copy of my receipt from the post office Acaiburn refunded my checking account 59.95 oln june 15th 2009 I was charged back in april 2009. I never got refunded for the two 9.95 charges. I stayed on ther backs and was very presisent about getting my money. I called everyday for about a week and insisted on speaking to managers.

I cancelled my order Tuesday, June 16, 2009. You had taken $40.00 out of my account on June 13, 2009 without my consent. Your costumer service said it was cancelled, so I felt relieved. Two days later the $40.oo had been credited back to my account. Today which is Friday, June 19, 2009 I noticed the $40.00 has be debited again with out my consent.
I want this cancelled. I have been sick with blood pressure issues and heart irregularities after trying your product for two weeks. I have no desire to continue. Please cancel now. Thanks, Judy Ramey

ya know i believe in alternative medicine. the ads you see for weight maintenance and cleansing your body can be approached another way.

yes, please READ the benefits of using the HERBAL (supplements). THEN GO TO AN HERBAL/WHOLE FOOD STORE and buy the smallest doses you can find (it should be cheap). when you go to these places you will be guaranteed to speak to a LIVE person and you have CONTROL of spending your MONEY.

ACAI is very good and it cleanses and energizes the body...try it from a local herbal or wholefood store!

good luck!

I ordered Acai Berry when they offered a free trial and I only had to pay shipping. I only authorized this one time shipment. Last Thursday, I received a second bottle without authorization. I got my bank Statement yesterday and saw that I was charge for 2 months at $83.13 for each bottle plus multuple shipping and other small charges. The product is terrible and I would never had ordered it a second time. I am trying to reach customer service by phone and have had no luck. I am calling my credit card to stop any future payments to this company. I am also going to demand a full refund and call the BBB.

I purchased a trial sample on-line for shipping & handling $4.99. I canceled before the 30 days. This product does not work! I checked my bank statement and discovered a debit amount of $82.31. I was also charged a .66 for international fee. I called the 1-800 number and talked to person named Roger. He was going to refund me back $78.32. It has been a week and still nothing. So I called again and talked to person named Peter and he would not let me talk to the superviser on duty. He told me they would not refund it back. I will be talked to the attorney I use to work for because they drafted this out of my account with out my permission. This is wrong.

Exactly! Well put Jackson from Mississippi!

These people are ###! Thieves! Be careful everyone - DO NOT apply for a free 14 day trial of Acai Berry, it is the biggest fraud ever! Their web page for the order of free trial - where you only pay for shipment (yeah right!) comes in many shapes, they have many domains! For example: www.acaiberrysupreme.com

I have been trying to get rid of these thieves for more than 8 months!

I have been really frustrated since I applied for the stupid ugly Acai Berry pills, after I canceled all of the sudden they are charging me for some stupid price saver service for pricelimbo.com. Anyways, to this company and people behind it: SHAME ON YOU!

These calls started after I almost signed up for a free sample of the Acai berry that has been so popular. I canceled out of my trail order because they wanted my credit card to pay for shipping - sounded like a scam to me. However they got my phone # and email and called me trying to talk me into getting the "free" sample. After I declined I keep getting phone calls from that # and when I answer it just hangs up on me or there is no one there. If I try to dial the number I get a recording saying it is a wrong number or wrong code. I just want them to stop calling my cell phone!

I to was sucked into this scam. I made a copy of my order. The order indicated 3.95 for shipping in which they charged my 39.95. The price was 87.13 for a total of 87.13 and a discount of 87.13 with a total of 3.95. When I called them they indicated the 39.95 was the cost of the 1st bottle, clearly not indicated on the order. I didn't order anything else and cancled my order because they sent me another product. The 1st person that called me said that I had 14 days to try it and that I wouldn't need to send anything back to just call and cancel within 30 days. I turned it over to my bank to get my money back and stop payment on the 87.13.

This company is clearly ripping people off by not telling them what they will be charged until you receive the statement. This needs to be major headlines to prevent people from this scam and they need to be prosicuted immediately.

I love this product but what i do not love is the fact I too ordered the free trial and got it in a timely mannor. next thing i know i am being charged 39.95 for the top body cleanser. i tried to call and they both told me that i could not cancel my order but yet when i do talk to someone they say that my order has been canceled. i was told i would not get my money back for this product nor my overdraft fees. they told me it was not their falt i had such fees. as soon as i saw thed charges on my account that were not to be there i cancled my credit card. told the bank what was going on and got my money plus all over draft fees within 24 hours. i think it is messed up when you call a company to cancel an order and the first thing they ask for is a credit card number... why the hell do you want our credit card number? the only reason is so you can charge my card again...yes i love the product but i think i will wait till i can get it at my local drug store or health food store. CALL THE BANK AND REPORT IT AS FRAD THAT IS THE ONLY WAY TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK

Well if you love the product you can definitely have mine. After reading the side effect--death--being one, I definitely was not interested in even trying it. But that did not deter them from locking me in for I dont even know how many days. You got off easy because my account was charged $88 for some other product that I did not ask for. Trying to work with them to settle this matter was impossible. I got burned for over $175 dollars. So a word to the wise---- Wath the word FREE

I ordered the Acai berry and colo flush products after hearing about it on Oprah. I read the terms and conditions on each website before I ordered the product. Then I marked my calendar for 14 days... when I called the number given to me, it was always busy and when I did actually get through I was holding for 10 mins just for some answering machine to tell me how busy they are and to try later. This made me so mad.I sent 7 emails to cancel and never recieved a reply. It took me 7 days before I was actually able to get this issue resolved. And the only way I was actually able to was buy calling my bank, and asking them what can I do so that I am not charged. I cancelled my debit card first and reordered a new one. Then I asked the teller if she had a contact number for the company that with drew the $4.95 . It was a local number in California which matched the same city the product was shipped to me. I immediately called the number and spoke with a live person who cancelled the order with no problems and was so pleasant to speak to. She told me that this problem happens a lot and doesnt know why the company keeps doing this to people. I told her it was a scam and as much as she probally didnt want to say because its her job she actually agreed that it was and apologized for any inconvienence... WTF! So if you are going through what I just went through and dont know what to do, call your bank and get the number to the company who withdrew the money..they have to give it to you its the LAW!

I am so disgusted with this company. I have been charged over $400 in this product. I have used the fake email accounts such as cancel@thecoloncleansemax.com and cancel@theacaiberrydetox.com to try to successfully cancel the membership and then what do you know 30 days later another charge for $83.18 plus $1.95 for who knows what and another charge for $2.00 appears on my credit card and receive another package of pills. My credit card statement does not have consistent names, it is one of the following:
Detoxcleanse 800-[protected]
TopBodyCleanse [protected]
Purebodymax [protected]
IDS*maxcolon [protected] (this number is since disconnected)

All the numbers reach the same company. It's odd how or why they use a different name everytime they automatically charge your credit card. It is because you can have your credit card company decline future purchases from the same company, but not when they change their name everytime they run your credit card.

Finally, I spoke with a representative, and I wanted to return all my SEALED bottles that I was sent, and he said that in their return policy it states that I would have had to cancel within 30 days of the first trial bottle ordered.

Oh well, I learned my lesson, but please beware and if it seems to good to be true...it's not!
