I accept that from now on I should read the “terms & conditions” a lot more closely, but I just couldn’t conceive of a company offering a trial that starts the day you place the order. Well that’s exactly what this fraudulent crook of a company decided to do and I get some third world inept operator taking my call that tried her hardest to up-sell me on another month of a product I didn’t even want one month of.

So I tell her that I received the acai product on Monday it was now Wednesday and I’m wondering why they charged me $89 after 3 days, she replies no it is charged 10 days from the time you place the order, you failed to call us back in time. I exploded! What sense does that make to start my trial of something before I receive it? I didn’t get to TRY it! She say’s oh well since you’ve already paid for it now why don’t you try it for the rest of the month. This crap went on for way too long and finally when I was frustrated to the verge of tears did she give me the cancellation instructions.

Can you believe after the 10 times I said I didn’t want it had I hung up too soon I would have still been in the system to get hit again next month! Scam artists! I am pissed and still out of money. And the cancellation process is so detailed and ridiculous, and they cover their criminal butts by putting this stupid info in the terms they know people rarely read through completely. Uuuggghh!

I ordered Acai Berry from another company, but I have been charged from extremeberri in the amount of $86.42. I don't know how this company got my account information, but I would like to cancel my account with them. I called the number provided, but it seems like it is a boggus number because it does not take you anywhere. The number I called was [protected]

What a scam...

You enter a free, with the exception of a small postage fee, diet trial. On mention of having to cancel otherwise further payments are taken. With the exception of a overseas phone number no way to contact them. They have taken over £50.00 from my account.

I didn't realize what I was getting into with this "free" sample. They have since billed my credit card twice, $79.95 each, and no additional product received and no way to contact them. My card company says they have thousands of complaints about this same thing happening to others, same company. It's a scam. Each of the three billings (the original 99 cent offer and the two other charges) have been billed under different names, healthco, o-berry-1 and protberryhealth. My card company gave me two telephone numbers which were provided when registering the companies, [protected] (o-berry) and [protected] (protberryhealth). I am a little dubious about calling either number because of these phone scams where you get hit for a huge phone bill. My credit card company fortunately is working with me and has blocked any further charges to my account. Good luck!.

Try calling [protected] this is the number I used to cancel the account... Visa had it onfile due to soo many similar complaints, however, the charge is listed int he hidden terms and conditions, if you do not cancel your account within 15 days you will be charged...

Call [protected] to cancel your account. I had a similar issue, 130$ charge showed up on my statement this morning... I called VISA immediatly. They have had several complaints about this. Apparently it is in the terms and conditions after you submit the free sample.. if you do not cancel the account within 15 days you are authorizing this charge:(

They were polite and cancelled it without issue, but would not refund the money.

I ordered a sample Acai Berry and now am being charged monthly on my Visa, over $131.00 for a product I am not receiving.

I've called my bank; my credit card has been cancelled - this is a huge scam!

All kinds of complaints on the internet about an online free trial offer through FWM laboratries with unauthorized charges to credit cards. Features OPRAh & Rachel Ray and next thing you know 87.13 charged to credit/bank account. Call for refund and cancel been waiting weeks for refund. The people that answer the phone are like Robots, , won't answer questions, won't give any information. Many have had to cancel credit card. Seems illegal to still be in operation after all the complaints filed and a score of F by BBB. I really wonder if OPRAH knows her name is being used by this fraudulent company.

I just found out that Acai Berry was hitting my bank account for $86.97 for there products. Admittedly I fell into their email scam of requesting a 30 day supply for only shipping and handling only to discover that by doing that you set up an active account with them and they keep sending their product. I called their customer service # and spoke to John Id# 337. He read right from his script that we had an active account. I went back and pulled up the email and nowhere on this does it state that you will keep an active account. They in fact called me numerous times apparently trying to set me up on one. I was told that my account had now been changed to inactive and that no more funds would be drawn from my account but in todays economy that $86 was enough to pay one of my legitimate necessary living expenses (like phone or natural gas or water). If in fact Dr. Oz is affiliated with this company he should be ashamed and his program removed from TV.

These websites which advertise these producats are frauds! I also ordered the 'free' sample but I was lucky because my bank had contacted me about an unusual transaction on my account and I was able to stop them taking any money than what I had orignally authorised.

The worst thing is this product doesn't even work it's full of bulking agents and very little if any of the actual acai berry - they have no conscience at all about who they are ripping off and why should they we are willing to pay. I have since lost the weightr but by diet and excercise. I've warned all my friends not to use any of these websites because they trade off peoples misery.

Just dont buy it !

I do not want the product acaiberry as a fraud is offered free and charge a very excessive cost, moreover, without you asking it again send it again charging the credit card, and that made me feel bad the first three days it started to take acaiberry

I have tried to cancel my order for the past week by calling at different times of the day. Funny this is, I listening to elevator music for at least 10 minutes and then an automated voice comes on the line telling me that "all agents are busy on the phone." I have not yet been charged the fee, but I know its coming. Something needs to be done about this organization who gives out fraudulent information such as a cancelation email or there is never anyone who answers the phone.

In August I received a free sample of Acai Berry detox tablets and paid for postage, which was 89p. After 6 weeks I noticed that £77, 19p had been taken out of my account. I cancelled this with my bank but they got back to me and said that I had gone into an agreement with them and that I would have to pay. I am in dispute over the matter because to my mind it is fraud and never signed up for any such thing.

I signed up for a free trial of Acai Berry and Life Cleanse, not knowing it I was automatically signningup for a monthly program, I never accepted any additional bottles of these pills, and returned all of them except for the free trial, and my credit card has been charged 4 additional times, in the amout of $147.00 each, the company is now telling me I cannot be refunded even though have returned all the product. It is a real scam.

Call your credit card company immediately it is a scam! My credit card company called me when they saw the charge to verify. They said they are known for running scams. Your credit card company should have a number they used to submit the charge, but you can also begin the dispute process with your credit card company!

Call this number and ask for a cancellation code, [protected]. Then call your credit card company with the number just to be sure no more payments are taken. The agent has assured me I won't get charges again.

It is not very clear on how the whole thing works as far as your charges. IT IS NOT A FREE! I knew better but am so despreate to lose some weight before I get married that I did not use my common sense. EVERYONE READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ALL THE WAY THROUGH before you do anything.

THE COMPANIES USUALLY WORK HAND IN HAND. ONE SENDS MAGAZINES COSTING 50.00 THE OTHER SENDS DIET PLANS 49.00 AND THE ACAI BERRY 69.00. BEFORE YOU KNOW IT YOU ARE UP TO 168.00 PER MONTH. THERE ARE TELEPHONE NUMBERS AND EMAIL ADDRESSES FOR THEM, BUT YOU HAVE TO LOOK IN THE AGREEMENT PAGE. THATS WHERE THE RETURN POLICY IS. I KNOW BECAUSE I GOT REIMBURSED FOR MY CHARGES.

I can't even contact them all because I didn't order from four customers (i just ordered at one site) so I have to wait till I get another package (2x82, -) and then I will have a telephonnumber that I can call.

I also paid postage and packing for a trial but within a period of 5 days I have received two other bottles of pills which I had not requested. I will be in touch with Trading Standards and the TV consumer watchdogs. A RIP OFF these sort of gutless underhanded people should be removed from society, they are gutter trash.
