I made lay be at Ackermans Brixton and went there to cancel my lay be as I have bought enough clothes for my kid they refused to cancel my lay be and refund my money and called head office call center they could not assist as well as I called many time to be refunded my money, and still wen to pay my full amount so I can full claim my money but they refuse and it is within my rights to get my money back, management they where rude as am working retail they said I gave them attitude so they wont refund my money in which I fell like they being personal, can I please be assisted to get my refund back I and will never shop Ackreman as the service is bad and I am not happy at all of they handle things

Refund for online purchase
I purchase an items online and 1 of the items was out of stock and i was told i going to receive a refund for the item when i got to the stock to collect. The store was the Westgate mall, the supervisor there Thabiso told me i can't be refunded headoffice was suppose to do the refund directly from they side. I called customer service this morning am told i was suppose to get the refund in store and this is known by the store supervisors and manager. My main concerned is the fact that i have to go back to the same store and be told the same issue by people who not competent enough to know their duties. All am asking for now is the refund to me put into the my store account as i have an account with them, and of course customer service can not do this as well.
Is it so hard to get a good service?

Bad unethical service
I Purchased a Nokia C10 on the 22nd October 2021 at Ackermans Dobsonville store, on the 3rd November the camera stopped working and I took it back to the store on the 05th November 2021 for repairs. I was called in a week later to collect the device only to find that the device is still not repaired and it was taken back to vodacom for the second time. After a week again I was called to come collect the smartphone and it was still not fixed and no one was willing to help me I waited at the store for an hour without being assisted, I was told to go and they would contact me with a way forward. I asked if they can credit my money back into my account and to date in sitting without a device and no communication. I called the store last week and they said they would call me but no has called. I'm very frustrated with the service that I receive at Dobsonville ackermans store.
Desired outcome: I would like for my money fro the device to be credited back to my account

Supplementary card
I applied the supplementary card for my youger sister at Ackermans Limpopo and everything was fine until my youger sister took my children to Ackermans in Randfontein Village square to buy some clothes for the kids .When my youger sister went to pay the cashier said they cant assist her because of the card was not signed at the back. And they contact me and telling me that they cant assist her and I spoke with the manager Sithati as well to assist her and she said she can't assist her by only the signature at the back of the card they couldn't assist her. No one told us tha the card must be signed. If the have doubts why they dint ask her ID to confirm. The service was so poor. What is purpose to have supplementary card, and she left unassisted.The disciplinary action must be taken against the cashier and the manager.

I purchased Premeo S53 blue Ackermans Taxi City in Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal on the 05th of March 2021. The phone started to have a screen and a battery problem so I took it back to the store so it can be repaired on the 15th of October 2021, I went to check if the phone is back from repairs on Sunday 05 December 2021 and they didn't have electricity so I went back today 07 December 2021 and I was told it's not back and the 6 weeks passed my phone should have been back by now.

In July 2021 we have purchased school shoes for 250 disadvantage families from Ackerman's store in Thaba Nchu. The payment was done in August 2021 (R66 457,75) for boys and girls, I have received first goods/shoes for boys mid October and end of November I have received half of girls, I was running every week to check where is the last stock the store manager will tell up and down sometimes he run away from or shut me. World Vision National office requested me to open a case regarding this matter. I have stress and depression because our financial year ended on 30 September 2021 and Audit pick up the document I have found the warning even today I dint receive the stock.

False advertising of cellphone deals
Went to buy a cellphone for black friday at Hatfield Plaza branch. Sales lady showed us around and decided on the Samsung A3 Core x 2 devices even if it was network locked because R300 is a bargain like they advertise and she even agreed . When had to ring up it showed its R999 each and sudden it was told no the R300 is only what you SAVE... but there is no indication of only saving that amount and in any business the price you see on the shelf is what you pay and they mislead the customers by false advertising

I wrote to ackermans regarding me purchasing goods to the value of R450 and was refunded but had to pay in R160 again because I was refunded the reduced price. Whether or not you have a slip the matter is the business already received your money and banked it you paid full price so why should you be refunded the reduced price. I asked them for a refund of my R160 because I have now paid for the same item twice. I was told because I do not have a slip I do not get the full refund amount. I think this is unethical as the business is not running a loss refunding me the full price that was paid for the item but I am running a loss having to pay in to exchange the item for something else because they did not have the same item they also could not allocate the purchase on my account. I am reaching out on different platforms because this is not fair you already paid why should you pay in again a R160 that you already paid when you purchased the item. I was also told I cannot get a slip or receipt of my new purchase as I didnt have a slip when I came to change the old item. Than I said so the same thing will happen again if I bought my kids something and it does not fit when I get home and the price is reduced again I will not get the full price I just paid and the not to mention the R160 I had to pay in because the previous item I paid full price for was reduced. I asked for a copy of the slip and was told they cannot assist me with that but was not provided with a reason why I could not have a copy made.
Ackermans who trades under the tenacity group is gaining funds from customers this way without even providing them with an item. Its like we giving our cash away for free why not be reasonable and ethical as a business and refund the funds your originally received from the customer. Why rob the customer. You are taking funds that does not belong to you. Its someone's hard earned money I read the reviews and I am not the only unhappy customer regarding this matter. Should you than not have your developers work on your systems to allow customer fair price and process.

Refund no longer interested in dealing with ackerman's again
I took my phone in for repairs with this store and I was told that it takes 3-4 weeks to get it back.
A Friday before the 4th week was reached I went to enquire and I was told they ll call the supplier and get back to me on Monday, no communication took place gave them another day nothing still, today I went to the store and my phone wasn't there this guy Lindokuhle was unwilling to help me he told me he wasn't involved from the beginning I'll have to wait until the phone is back, refused to co operate when I asked him about what needs to happen according to his CPA guidance book, I left the store without any conclusion as he left the box of the phone and the slip by the door me seated, thats after he first left me by the entrance door and told his staff I was seeking attention.
No resolution was reached as he left me there by myself unattended.

I bought a phone from Ackermans Campus Square and it is faulty and I have send it back to the store twice for repair and it is still having the same problem. I spoke to the repair center and they have told me to get a refund at the store and the lady at the store her name is Jessica Maswanganyi said to me there is nothing she can do. I get the sense that she is not willing to assist me since the phone I bought is cheap. All I want is my money back and I will make sure I do not make a mistake of buying from your stores anymore.

I bought a pair of shoes on the 8th October at hill street pinetown at 9.30am .the size was big so I couldn't find a sleep but I went back to the store hoping they will assist since I used my Ackermans card.but the lady on the phone said they won't track my transaction because maybe I looted the shoes. I have the same problem and had to pay for the same item twice as they refunded me the reduced price now on the 18th of November which was a whole R160 less and I had to pay the R160 in with my bank card but when I initially bought the item i paid the full price. Its really a rip off
They are useless this people and they are so rude to the core, they do not even think twice when they are talking to customers. I think the company is not training them well to understand their customers or maybe we are not their target market.
Damaged jacket.

Please assist me, I visited Ackermans Tubatse mall (Burgersfort) on the 20 October 2021, to shop around my child's items on babies department.
I was wearing a jacket when I was busy shopping around, there was a flat packing shelve on the wall with a poor bracket not fitted correctly on it going outside wooden shelve, when I pass next to that shelve, steel bracket damaged my jacket.
I called one of the consultant to complain about the situation I am on it, the lady said to me that is being a while that shelves was like that. I suddenly called the branch manager because I was upset, Mr manager by the name of Tebogo came and I explain my problem to him and promise to give me a call within a certain period and he failed,
I send him an email on the 25 October 2021 up until today my issue is not resolved yet, he is quiet and nothing is happening and I love that jacket. Honestly as a customer I feel like that store is not taking care of its customers, what they want is to get money and be profitable.

Ons the 15th of October 2021, I purchased a BALCK denim short for my 5 year old son (black denim short 5-6yrs). The Item was ons sale.
My son wore the jean the 18th of October to a wedding and again once the week after to church.

I have been receiving calls from different sales or accounts department instructing me to come and do the payment and calling me Refiloe Dlamini. I have been trying to explain to them many times that I am not Refiloe Dlamini but I know her she is my employee and I even gave them the correct contact details but the same problem persisted. I am sick and with the incompetent staff at Ackermans. I told them to update the details on the system but that does not happen. On the 25th October 21 I received an sms on [protected] saying "Your errear Ackermans account was handed over to SDK with the reference [protected], unfortunately the message came in front of my wife, now we are fighting over as she is thinking that I am having an unknown account and I am using it for unknown reseasons. I had to go an extra mile using my own funds to proof to her that I do not have an account with Ackermans. This is due to the neglegent and incompetent staff at your accounts Department. This matter should be attend to with immediate effect to avoid the legal sue. I cannot compromise the peace of my family and the marriage due to your neglegence. I need a proper correction and reprimand to the staff who are being neglegent all this time.

Money transfer fraud at Maponya Mall
I'm very dissapointed at the kind of fraud happening at ackermans store at Maponya Mall. My son did a money transafer yesterday at 10 October 2021 and immediately while he was in store the money was withdrawn at Pimville square ABSA ATM. The fruad department is so useless with no assistance to help solve the problem even spoke to line manager Sham to assist us with the police to open fruad case. Store manager of Maponya mall is not even offering any assistance nor involment to help solve this fraud happening in his store. People have gone hungry for 2 days now all thanks to ackermans maponya mall.
Im also here with an old lady here who was also defrauded by ackermans maponya mall. The whole day today we are sent between police station and ackermans maponya mall.
