Dear sir,
I received a message from airtel (on 19/11/2013, 21/11/2013, 23/11/2013, 26/11/2013, 30/11/2013) : "special offer only for you! 1.5gb 2g data for 30 days with recharge of rs 149 on airtel. 750 mb instantly & rest of data in 24hrs... "
I recharged rs. 149 / - on 26/11/2013 at 10:45am (transid [protected]). but I did not get extra 750 mb 2g data for 30 days till now. airtel says that internet pack validity for 30 days. but when I recharged then internet cost shows that validity till dec 20, 2013 instead of 25/12/2013.
so, I am requesting that extra 750 mb & 30 days validity give me by airtel as soon as possible.

sms not activated even after a week...
Hi,
I wish to place a complaint against the incompetence and negligence of bharti airtel, the mobile service provider. I bought two duplicate sims as the micro sims i had got damaged on 18 / 11 / 2013 from an airtel relationship center in jayanagar 3rd block, bangalore. I was assured that the sms services will be active on sims within 48 hours. However, its been a week since i had these sims and i have neither received a single sms nor able to send one. I have called the customer care for about 20 times and the response i get is very pathetic. Also, the so called supervisors, talk very rudely and even threaten instead of solving the issue. Its a shame and utter disgusting to see a largest mobile service provider failed to even have courtesy and inform customers about the problems. After repeated attempts i am able to at - least get hold of the compliant number (Partially) and it ends with '93200'. Most of my banking transactions are happening through sms and now i am left in dark. This is a real harassment and if the issue is not resolved asap i would be giving a complaint in police station for the difficulties you caused.

I Sumit Dhamija is using your Airtel corporate no.[protected] for the last 9 years. Everything was fine till today, as i wanted to change my postpaid no. to prepaid one because my plan is going to get expire on 30th September 2013 & you are not offering me further benefit in my billing plan. Today i had visited 4 Airtel customer care outlets namely Punjabi Bagh, Pusa Road, East Park Road & Connaught Place. Customer care executive in Punjabi center was saying he is short of prepaid Sim card, then i visited the Pusa Road center they also said that they are not having the Sim card, then i went to the East Park Road outlet one of your executive Ms.Nisha said that they are having Sim Card but their id is blocked but she was not ready to give me the same reason in written & then finally i went to the M-5 outlet in CP for the same issue. There i met your executive Ms.Pooja who was again saying that they are not having the Sim Card with them, she was not ready to give me the same in written or mail & when i asked her that i want to meet the store manager she said that he is not there. I got the mobile no. of the store manager Mr.Manjeet [protected] from Ms.Pooja & he also said the same thing that they are not having the Sim Card as they have to go for store renovation for that reason they have not placed the order for issue of Sim Card & i can come in next month or can visit other outlet. I have also registered this issue with your Sr.Customer Care Mr.Manish on customer care no. the interaction no. for the same is [protected]. I want to draw your attention to this issue since it is AFFECTING THE REPUTATION OF AIRTEL IN THE MARKET. How come it is possible that your Sim Cards are available in the deep interior general store & not in your 4 leading outlets.
I need your action over this issue as early as possible, till the time my querry is not resolved i will not pay the bill as well as the penalty over bill or extra amount of rental apart for the rent till today 27th September 2013 & will go to the CONSUMER COURT over this issue.

I have paid deposit of (Rs.300/-) for converting my [protected] prepaid number to postpaid.
Representative from impression marketing came at my residence for taking deposit and collection of document On 12 September 2013 but did not gave receipt by them, so i had to visit impression marketing office to collect the receipt.
They told that within 48 hours it will get converted, But yet not converted in postpaid,
So i once again gave my documents at airtel goregaon east gallery, but they told that my number [protected] and request is blocked by impression marketing so i cant convert my number [protected] into postpaid and i tried calling the executive of impression marketing (Prachi [protected] / [protected]) they are not receiving the call by me.

I'm Raghavendra Reddy. My mobile number is [protected].I was with Wipro Technologies till Jul'13. I have moved out of wipro post that and have initiated the process of converting of my connection from corporate to personal. The process of conversion has become big pain.
I have given all the documents to the guy who has come to collect the documents. Post that with in Airtel, somebody has updated the data in the their internal systems incorrectly and no verification was done and my outgoing calls were suspended I have launched complaint and i was told that it would be rectified immediately as it was issue from Airtel's side. This is on 29th Aug'13.
Again on 1st Sep'13, my outgoing calls were suspended and the reason i was told was that verification has filed. I can 100% say that no verification was done. I have not got any call nor the reference phone number i gave got any call. I did not get any prior intimation of suspension of my calls.I have complained against the same. I got the reply that it would take atleast 2 days to resolve this, inspite of the issue being from Airtel's side. They were not able to track why it was actually rejected as no data was updated in the system by the guy who rejected it.
on 5th of Sep, after repeated followups my address verification was done and the guy said he has updated the system as verified, even then my outgoing is not active. I spoke to them atleast 1hr a day and every time they say that i will work after couple of hrs but till now (8th), connection is not active and i'm not sure when it will be active also. I'm irritated to the core now. Not sure as to what to do.

I am a AIRTEL prepaid customer with mobile number [protected]. I got an international SIM card on 4th July 2013 in Bhubaneswar, Orissa and got it activated. After reaching USA I found that the mobile phone is not working. I am neither able to call a call within USA nor can talk to anyone in India. However the phone shows that it has an active AT&T connection.

I am postpaid user of aitel mobile no. [protected], I received sms yesterday on my mobile that usage of international roaming (voice + data) on my airtel mobile [protected] is rs. 7725 on 9th august 2013.
I traveled on 5th august to china, my isd roaming activated on 6th august.
In my blackberry phone I kept data services off. I did not get signal till 7th, error sos there was no service on blackberry. only emergency call. shown on mobile.
7th afternoon I changed my sim to another phone samsung and make two three calls from my sim.
I received many massage from aitel, I haven't used data service and also it could not access data services on samsung phone.
8th and 9th august I made 2 - 3 calls to india and 9th evening return from china.
I am surprises to see roaming bill, because I have not used data service. only 5-6 calls to india. how you can make this much of bill. as per my calculation it should not be more than rs. 750.00
I assume, airtel send me many sms, unnecessary and charging for the same. these sms send to increase my bill.
I hope aitel can check my usage and give immediate attention to resolve the problem

4g device issue
Dear Sir,
On 25th July, 2013 my Airtel 4G no. got activated which I've taken for my office work; and from the very first day I'm facing issues with my device. Most of the times it's not getting started. I found no way to resolve this issue. Even after plugging-out and plugging-in several times, the issue is not resolving. When it's working, if I continuously use it for 3 hrs., the dialler is stopping automatically. And no way to restart it again. This is seriously hampering my business.
I called customer care several times to change the device as it's under warranty for the first year, and they sent one support person for a few minutes to my place and I could not show him the exact issue (as at that particular moment it was working fine). But he found that there is poor 4G network in my place so he had taken a note on that.
After he left, like any other day, my device started behaving the same way after a few minutes and I again called their customer care (on that day and several times after that day). They said they will send the support person again but they never did that.
I put several mails to them regarding the issue. And got reply for each mail saying that they will contact me in 24 hrs. but not a single call they made. Also, they are saying that one complain has been already registered and they are working on that; and after resolving the network issue in my area they will inform me.
I tried make them understand that the issue is with the device not with the network, as most of the times it's showing NO DEVICE and the dialler is stopping and not getting started. But they are saying they can only see what their support person had mentioned; they don't bother about what issue I'm facing.
Before getting the connection, they assured me in an e-mail to give my money back if I'm not satisfied with the service. Now, they are simply CHEATING.

As i dis guess over the phone about the Airtel 4G connection, i can assure you that if you are not getting speed of service as per plan i will take back your device and i will refund your money Rs 1500/- Device cost.

poor customer/tech service
This is to bring to your notice that we have a serious problem as an Airtel iptv Customer.
On 9th June 2013, a request was made to Airtel (Request No. [protected]) regarding upgradation of our iptv/broadband plan so that more channels will be available to us (142 as against to 107 in current plan.
A series of painstaking phone calls were made as follow-up on different days to Airtel Customer service (Request Nos. [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected] and [protected]). On several occasions, the Floor Manager on duty was also spoken to.
All of them did listen to our concern however no action has been taken to upgrade the plan. Few callbacks were received that clearly indicate the disconnect between Customer Service and Tech support at Airtel. As per the Customer Service, the plan has been upgraded but as per Tech support, upgradation is not done and they need a new request. But Customer service does not raise a new request for upgradation since as per their records, it is upgraded.
Furthermore, Airtel is shameless enough and has the audacity to send an update at the end of month that I have been charged as per the New bill plan. The ironical part is that I am still to receive the bill.
The only option left for me is to approach you like this for getting the needful done. Never expected such callous and casual attitude from Airtel. Am in no mood to pay the "hypothetical" bill till the issue is resolved.
Request early resolution of the matter, else I shall be forced to this up with Consumer Courts. I have all the Request numbers and names of persons I have spoken to.

promised speed fraud
18 july, 2013 - recently, I subscribed airtel 8mbps connection. They have promised me a constant speed of 8mbps. Unfortunately, the speed I receive is 450kbs, i. E around 3.6mbps, when I lodged a complaint, they spend 2 weeks troubleshooting my router, their network. They always ask me to check speed through speedtest.net, it shows 8mbps - alright. But, whenever I downloaded something from other servers, speed is always around 450kbs, sometimes it drops to 230kbs. Interestingly, airtel has put speedtest.net website on special "route", which therefore is able to connect at 8mps speeds.
I contacted airtel many times, they always ask me to restart my router., they just waste my valuable time. I checked other forums, airtel engineers have been giving other subscribers very funny excuses - such as - 8mbps is available for only servers located in india, there is virus in your computer, blah blah! One person I spoke to on airtel cc told me 8mbps isn't feasible, but if it is not, why airtel is "lying" about speed. This fraud should be checked and reporte4d to trai - but, I guess they already knows, they might have already been bribed.

The complaint is so true. Airtel definitely has special channels for speedtest.net it shows around the same speed as promised by airtel. But none other speedtest shows the same. It is generally half that promised.
I downloading a few files from good sites and for 8 mpbs connection, I get around or less than 400 KBps ie. 3.2 Mbps.
Probably, airtel together with speedtest.net is running this fraud.
And the customer care are told to tell customer to carry out stupid instructions like emptying temp files.
Common airtel, you can fool only a few with such instructions.

I am having an Iphone which was not bought by me but given to me by somebody. I did not need internet (3G) coverage as I have computer at home as well as at the place of my work. In between work, I do not have time to access internet thro my mobile as I am a doctor. More than a year ago, somebody in airtel told that there is a package for Rs 99/month for internet package and whether they can activate. I said OK.
That is the time my headache started. I started getting internet usage fees of 1000 or even 2000 Rs even though I never surfaced the net. Only thing was in my phone 3G was enabled. I had a combined airtel pack with my husband whose no is [protected]. My husband prompty used to pay the bill. Even though he used to tell me that the bill is going high and high, he was not telling the details.
About four months pack, I went to one of the Airtel outlets in Chennai Kodambakkam Arcot Road to ask them to disable my internet package. They said yes. But it seems they never did it. On and off, I used to get a call from airtel customer service when I am busy (seeing a patient or in operation theatre). When I tell them, that I am busy and can I call them again to get details, they said they cannot be contacted again or give me the contact details, as again if I call, they may not be available and somebody else will be on line. If airtel is really working for the benefit of customer, they have to contact the customer by post, sms and e mail so that the customer can decide what is needed for them when they are free.
Last month, I went to Cochin for five days. That is the only time, I surfed the net for short time just to get some details. I returned on 28th May and I was shocked to receive a bill of over 5000 Rs. Somebody told me to disable the 3G on my telephone and so I did. I even went to the Nungambakkam airtel outlet, raised the complaint and told him to check whether my 3G was disabled and he looked at computer and said yes. After a week or so, somebody told me to disable cellular data also and I did so. I used to have note in my phone almost everyday that you cellular data is turned off, enable to get 3G. I never did so. I spite of having kept my 3G and cellular data disabled from the beginning of June, I got a bill for over Rs 5000 for the month of June.
We were shocked and so much traumatized by the billing activity of Airtel, that my husband reached the Regional office of Airtel at T Nagar and complained. He asked both of our numbers to be separated and switch of 3G from my mobile. Finally on 6th July at 10.43 AM I got an sms saying that GPRS has been stopped from my mobile from 6th July 2013.
The situation of Airtel outlets today is this. All staff in outlets know nothing except to collect money (Or they are asked to pretend so). Even if they know, they care the least about the customer. The staff at customer service have no interest in consumer and they are doing something because they are paid for that.
Please explain why I have to pay this enormous June bill.

I am a gazzetted officer working in the government and I was using the number : [protected] for more than 2 year and was using this number before for more than 5 years in Vodafone but shifted to airtel due to CUG scheme presented by them to all government officers from the day i started using airtel i and my co workers had an issue with the network and we all had made complaints regarding this but the issue was not resolved, in office we couldnt make a call more than a minute, then all of us opted for porting but then the customer executive called me and gave discounted offer and assured that your complaint will be solved but after compalining many times the issue was the same, even airtel executive could not talk with me properly over the phone as it got disconnected when i pick up due to poor network coverage. then they disconnected my number and for some reason i could not pay the bill, moreover i had got another add on card on my name from the company which worked good at home so i kept at home. One day i got a call from the legal department and it was around 3:45pm and she told me about the bill payment and i expalined my issues, i said that this number i am paying regular bill because i have no problem with it but the number which got disconnected was having problems with network then she told to pay the bill and port to another company today is the last date to pay and pay by 4:00 pm, i said it is just 15 minutes left and it would be impossible for me to pay by 4:00 pm i would pay by tomorrow without fail, but after that she again called the same number many times and used abusing words like baap, aukaat, why you buy phones, and also called many of my friends and family members and told them to tell me about paying the bill. This was really shocking when i got the calls from the people saying about my airtel bill, when the lady again called i said we had a talk about that then why you are calling my family and friends she said that i will call again do whatever you want i just want the money and nothing is concerned to me. I was a valued customer and was currently using another 2 numbers also but from this day i really thought that never think for airtel in mind even if i had to buy a prepaid card. I am a government officer and this was a real defamation and abusement and mental harrasement. As the bill amount is only 2000 Rs and for this mere amount i have been defamed and abused, I want the apology and call the people where i was defamed.

With due regards I want to draw attention to the irregularities in ur services... I am regular post paid user and using the 2 g data pack on phone. This billing cycle from 18 may to 18 june. My data usage crossed my limit.. And to my utmost surprise.. My bill crossed my amount credit limit. It went to whooping 5200 rupees. And I was not informed at all regarding my account crossing the credit limit of my account that is presently 2500 hundred. Due to non intimation I had to get so high billing amount.. Such cheap things are not expected from company of ur repute.
Kindly look into matter and take pains to inform me about the negligence cause.. Further I want to discontinue my services with air-tel with immediate effect. Kindly inform me the procedure also. Thanks.

Hi,
I am Ramani K N from JP Nagar-7th phase, Bangalore and this mail is regarding the Airtel Broadband connection I had applied for. My application number is TBLR645496 & Installation ID is [protected]. This was the first time I opted for Airtel connection with high expectations but sorry to say I got a pathetic experience in return.
A representative from Airtel franchise at JP Nagar-7th phase came and agreed to provide the connection within 2-3 working days and took Rs.500/- as security deposit but after taking money he didn’t come back at all. I got some lame excuses from him when called several times. The representative’s name is Gopi his number is +91-[protected] & his manager is Gowda whose number is +91-[protected]. It seems that just for the sake of achieving targets these people are cheating the customers.
I hope Bharti Airtel Ltd. takes disciplinary actions against those who attract the customers just by words and not by their service & ensure thst such cases does not happen again.
