I'm facing the worst (yes it is worst) customer care service from airtel since the last 2 months (the day I converted my number to post paid).
Firstly, I'm getting 100's of messages in a day (Just imagine 100!) from an airtel number 543210.
The SMS service is about cricket alerts.
I've been contacting customer care since then, initially they were not sure why is this service activated. They gave me the reason I subscribed for it. When I said no, I've never subscribed for this service, they told me the service will be discontinued in 24 hrs, but its not.
I called up customer care innumerable number of times & every time I got exactly the same response that "the service will be discontinued in 24 hrs". Its more than 2 months now, they cant stop sending spam to me.
Imagine, they barr your outgoing calls the moment it exceeds its limit. But, dont know why they are so much reluctant to block this spam.
The worst part is the service provider itself is sending spam. What more to expect.

The current scenario, whenever I'm dialing airtel 121 the only option that I have (no matter what option I choose) is to send a SMS to 121.

There was network problem in our area ( sakkam patti near andi patti - theni district ) for the last 10 days... Already i have given complaint 2 times to customer care... but they didn't give any responses yet...

Now there is no even single point tower signal in our mobile... So that only we are telling our problem via email...

As i am a airtel subscriber in chatisgarh circle. My cell no. is [protected]. airtel live is activated in my cell. Actually on every tuesday rs7 is deducted from my talktime through a sms from airtel live no. is [protected] without any download /login in airtel live. I given complain to customercare 1 month before. Now i am at roaming in jharkhand. I am also given complain to airtel jharkhand customer care. They told me that my problem will be soleved within 24hrs. But it is still continued. I think the logo of airtellive should be changed from airtel express yourself to airtel depress yourself. In jharkhand my contact no is [protected].

Since a week time I am not able get directory inquiry service at Phone No: 197 . I tried at 121 and they replied several times there is no other go and try again 197. I tried for about 20 minutes continuously. But I am not getting 197. I find the services of airtel is coming down.

I have got a airtel post paid connection (mobile no. 99401xxxxx) under cug plan. i had submitted my passport and my office id as proof during the activation of my airtel number.

On 30 jan 2017 I received a lok adalat notice (notice no. 2951) dated 05 jan 2017 from the tamilnadu state legal services authority for not paying the bill of rs.1851 / for the mobile no.[protected], which I never owned or used.

I met the concerned official in airtel ltd, no.101 oceanic towers, 2nd floor, santhome high road, santhome, chennai-600 028. but the official didn't give any proper response and he provided me a copy of the application of the mobile no. [protected]. I found the document I had submitted for my mobile no. 994015xxxxx was attached with that application. and also I found the following discrepancies in the same application

1. the signature. I found some other's signature was there.

2. the icici bank a/c no. i found a some other a/c. no in the application.

3. the residential address. i found some residential address

4. the application did not have any photograph.

Though I had brought all these points to the official notice, he did not accept it.

Then I wrote a letter to them dated on 05 feb 2017 to seek the clarification regarding the lok adalat notice and the discrepancies in the application given by the concerned official in above said address.

Then I had sent 3 reminders to the same address. but I haven't received any response from airtel ltd.in the mean time I wrote email to the the regional officer. she replied that the legal team was working on my compliant. but there was no answer from any department.

After that I didn't receive any further lok adalat notice or legal notice from airtel ltd. this made me to frustrate. I had invested much time and lost my valuable time because of a wrong petition.

My charges on airtel

1. airtel didn't keep the document privacy policy
2. wrong petition on me which made me to disappoint
3. not provided the correct clarification
4. document piracy

There actually seems to be serious problem with Airtel and its services. Such pathetic service!

on 1st September between 11.30pm and 12.00 i recharged my prepaid mobile phone through the net with an amount of Rs 500/- . Today is 4th of september and i am yet to get the amount added to my account a delay of one day is understandable but this is the ultimate now. I can vouch for this kind of sloppy service provided by Airtel cos i had a land line connection also from the same providers "AIRTEL". we paid one months telephone bill through the internet and after about a week i got a call from their customer care saying that my bill amount was pending. When i gave them the details of the payment they asked me to pay the bill once again till the problem is rectified. Out of options we did pay the amount again. The next month a lady from the customer care calls and says that the amount we had paid through the net is deposited with their finance department. We had to call up umpteen times to get it diverted to the current months bill. Don't ever pay your airtel phone bills or recharge your airtel prepaid number through the internet.

Those guys don't know head to tail of what the hell is happening with the customers money.we had all the proof from the bank stating that the amount had been sent from the bank to Airtel and all the goof up was on their part...

Sp people please beware of "airtel"

I bought a prepaid card (starter pack)of AIRTEL on 30th August 2017, and recharged with Rs. 246/- to change my plan as Airtel-to-Airtel 0.30 ps at any time, Airtel-to-Any mobile is 0.59 ps, first 365 sms free per year with a rate of 5 ps with a daily rental of Rs. 1/- and also night talk at 0.39 ps to any mobile. This plan is named as "NR365." For the first three days there is no problem in this plan. The outgoing call charges are calculated as per the above mentioned rate. But on 3rd September my plan automatically got changed to another plan that is named as "Student 365" in which the outgoing call charges are about Rs. 1/- for any mobile in my circle and also with a daily rental of Rs. 1/-.

I immediately made a call to Customer Care, and the executive told that this change of plan is caused by their system fault. Each person asks time of about 24-hours to change my plan to "NR365," but there was no response after 24-hours and my plan is still under "Student 365." I made several calls in which they only tell that they had forwarded the compliant to higher officials and they will take necessary action. There is no message of call from any Airtel Customer Support executive to explain my present status.

Below I mention the name of the executives who made no solution to my query. The name of the executives, the time and date of contacting them as follows:

1. Siva (09:30 a.m. September 4, 2017)
2. Arun (01:10 p.m. September 4, 2017)
3. Kavita (03:30 p.m. September 5, 2017)
4. Saravanan (11:20 p.m. September 5, 2017)
5. Kumar (09:39 a.m. September 6, 2017)
6. Bala (01:00 p.m. September 6, 2017)

The last person I contacted is Anand at 09:15 p.m. September 6, 2017, he asked me 24-hours for change in plan.

Finally I request you to notify my problem and take necessary steps to change my plan to "NR365."

The airtel website does not have an e-mail id or mailbox where the customer can send his complaint to them. Instead they suggest to call the call center. The call center is fully automated and you never get to speak to a real person so you go around in circles.

Very horrible grievance handling cell. I really wonder how Airtel is a member of the global communications agencies when it is not compliant in these areas.

I have an Airtel connection [protected]. Some days back I got a SMS from no. 56465 informing that my account has been debited for Rs.99, under a plan. I never authorized such a debit. Since then I have been receiving unsolicited cricket news at all odd times. When I wanted to send SMS to 56465 to stop this, the message is not being forwarded.

I got a call from miss pooja from Airtel marketing to get package of calls (mobile to mobile, mobile to landline with in punjab) worth Rs.1000/- for just Rs 500/-, 15 days back. That call was recorded one. I told her that i am ready to take package but this should start from my next billing cycle i.e. 14th of september. She told me that i will get message when the package will start. I got another call of confirmation from Airtel marketing, they confirm that i have given the option of the package. Again this call was internal recorded one. Than i contacted 121 where Mr. Amit singh told me that he won't be able to do much. He suggested me this site for my complaint registration. I got such calls number of times, i refused to accept but when i accepted the offer they refused to entertain.

Dear sir,

There are two parts of the compliant

1. Gprs net connection
I bought a new cell htc p3400, which is supposed to be operating on airtel network only in india. ,
I'm trying very hard to fetch gprs net connect. , tried calling up customer care 121, [protected], almost made 20 calls till date for last 8 - 10 days. ,

I got gprs activated via a sms, but phone setting sms is not responding back to connect, while speaking to executives in customer care, they say, this handset may not be gprs compliant, & if at all.. They are not been brief about it yet. ,

Also, recently there was rs.150 debited to my prepaid card, without any information. , I still don't know why.

I am Baskaran CE, satisfied customer of AirTel for long, but termination of service of my number since 20 September 2017 without any notification has made me to change the impression about AirTel's Service. What further add to my agony is that same number [protected] is being used by some other customer.

Since, this number holds all my communications, I have been put into lots of stress for the last 10 days. Further, to state that I had validity till November and balance for communication, I may please be advised how can i get my number back and my grievances would be addressed.

Hi, I had taken a postpaid Airtel SIM card from an Airtel Agency, after a lot of persuation and followup from the agency. I decided to take the SIM. From the day I've taken the SIM, I've had problems.
1. I was told that CLIP was free with the celebration 399/- scheme.
2. I was told that there would only be first time advance rent.
3. I was told that the SIM Card would be given to me without any deposit.
And a host of promises made by the agency. On getting the first bill, CLIP was charged. I spoke to an Airtel Executive and she asked me to go on another plan which would not have CLIP Charges and again the advance rent was charged to me for change of plan, and the executive told me, if the CLIP is charged, I should deduct CLIP Charges and pay the rest. As expected, the CLIP charges were charged in the next bill. I deducted the clip charges and paid the balance bill, the same continued in the next 2 bills. Now my Airtel has barred outgoing calls from this SIM. I spoke to another customer service executive about the same on Dushera i.e. 21.10.2017 and she has asked me to give the no. of the agency person, and promised that outgoing calls would be activated in 8 hours maximum. It is 22.10.2017 6.45 p.m. and the outgoing calls have not yet been activated.
I spoke to a customer service executive today i.e. 22.10.07 Mr. Ejaz, and he gave me a number and password, and that does not seem to be working either. On asking him to transfer the call, he says, that cannot be done. On asking him to transfer me to a responsible person, he is not ready to do so, as if he is the CEO of the company. And he cuts the call all of a sudden and says he is sorry that the call got cut.
This is the plight of a person who has been giving business to Airtel to the tune of minimum Rs. 399/- to min. 1000/- per month and Airtel gives this treatment to the customer.
I sincerely request the Complaints Board to take this up strongly with the company and request TRAI to look into this matter as Airtel expects customers to run from pillar to post for the mistakes that Airtel has done.
This is very unfair on Airtel s part and the highest authority has to be questioned and give an apology to all its customers in writing in the newspapers, as without the customers, he would not be No. 10 service provider in the world.
Hope something gets done.

Hi, my name is james chacko and my number is [protected].

On 28th sep. I got an sms from airtel informing that if I pay the bill on 29th or 30th of sep at airtel relationship centers (Arc) , I would win assured gifts, all arcs are open. Accordingly I went to andheri (E) arc and paid the bill, but they said they didn't receive any gifts and I would have to talk to customercare.

I called airtel from there and spoke to susheela dangi and she spoke to her team leader and she promised me that the gift would be sent to my billing address. I asked her again and she confirmed it.

After that, each time I called to inquire, I had to tell the whole story to the executive attending the call, and then was told that the system was under upgradation and was asked to call later, or after half an hour, or after 7pm or after 7am... The supervisor it seems was always busy on another call or some meeting.

Finally on 12th oct after 14 calls, I could speak to someone and after much persuasion, got the call transferred to suleman, his tl. He told me that airtel never sends gifts to billing addresses, I would have to pick it up from andheri arc, even though I was promised that earlier. He promised and assured me that the concerned dept would call me within 48 hours. I waited till 22nd oct. And spoke to vidya nair, she assured me again that I would get a call within 48 hours and the whole system was under upgradation for sometime. And I got a reference number for the first time: [protected]

Now since nothing is happening apart from me repeating the incident to every executive and wasting a good deal of my time, I decide to write to you hoping that I will at least get "the call". The 48 hour period is a standard time and never seems to elapse.

The question is not about receiving a gift. Its about commitment. Even if you promise a pen worth rs.2, deliver it or don't assure!

Secondly, when I am promised a "call-back", I am expecting a call.

Thirdly, my bills hardly come below 1700 a month, without many std or messages. My colleagues using hutch go roaming, call std & isd from there but don't cross 1700. Many other friends using airtel have faced this problem and have switched over to hutch.

Could someone please get back to me with answers? I am thoroghly dissatisfied and tired of airtel.

I have requested a service from postpaid to prepaid at airtel office vashi, sector -17, I have submitted all the documents and pending bill on 9th of October,2017. I again went there after 2 weeks , the person told me that it will get start on the nextday. But its not working till date. I have called the customer care -121, but the lady told me that she cannot check the status for the number which is converted from postpaid to prepaid. And the person at airtel service is not willing to pick up my phone even. Their attitude is worst.
Right now I am using a roaming number of vodafone. Can you tell me when I'll get my number up ? If you people cannot do it then I want the money back of that sim and the roaming bills I am paying since last few days , just because of their stupid promises of 3days and 4 days.

I have make several complain to airtel customer care that gprs not working from your "New Bypass Road" B.T.S. Anisabad, Patna since 10 days.My complain no as per customer care is [protected]. But nothing happened till the date.However I am paying monthly charges for the above services. I have not used the gprs service due to your machinery faliure or Your negligence from 10 days, but you will charge full payment for the month.Who is resposible and who will be punished. Is it airtel services after giving information nothing happened in five days?

Yeah... I too got the p3400 and settings for gprs from Airtel. They said we need to do manual settings for the same. When we do that and try to connect to.. the message is that remote party has ended the connection. If you anyone knows the settings and got the issue resolved .. please let me know .

I had registered under 'do not call' registry on 17/6/07.My registration number is W1000088909.I was informed that all promotional calls will stop in 45 days.Yet, I am still receiving these calls every day either recorded or personal.They even call when I am traveling and for which I am then wrongly charged as incoming calls in my bill.If these calls do not stop immediately then I will be forced to complain to higher telephone authorities.Please look into my complain.

I had availed the facility of Lifetime Plan by echaring Rs.495 on 24 July 2017. Since then I am debited Rs.50 per month. On enquiry in the month of July I was told that I have activated some two Nos. of "Near & Dear" facility. I informed the customer executive that I had never asked airtel to activate this facilityand requested for deactivating the same. But till this month airtel has not done that. From July to October I have been debited Rs.50 per month.

A 9 month old post-paid account with international roaming (so that it can be used during overseas travel...duh!) was canceled because it exceeded the credit limit. There is a history of this account using this to make regular international calls AND paying the bill on time.
Conclusion: Airtel sucks! and no one should be even touching it with a barge pole.

i am using my mobile with airtel prepaid connection from fast 3 years. from last 6 months i am getting spam mail to my mobile from 600
i am getting ugly messages from different mail ids. daily i am getting 20 messages causing inconvenience. when i called to customer care, they said ' we cant do anything with this problem,some one sending mails to u r mobile. and the solution is to change the number'. i am planning that if this problem is not solved , i would like to switch the network.my mobile number is 91-[protected]

I got a call from Airtel customer Care and they gave the information regarding their New service NOP (Net On Phone). Company executive gave me the total wrong information regarding their service as there is only Rs5 charges per day and after that everything is free. But when I got a message from Airtel that your service of NOP is activated and you can enjoy your mails @.15 paisa per mail. After that I gave the call to customer care on 10th of November and ask them to to deactivate my NOP service and the reply I got was that on 15th of November at 2 PM your service will be deactivated but on 16th of November i received a massage that Rs5 has been deducted from your account for the NOP service. So I gave a call to customer service and again I told the whole story and he again confirmed that your service will be deactivated till 19th of November and you will get the refund but again I got the same message from Airtel stating that Rs5 has been deducted from your account for the NOP service so again I called the customer service on 20th of November spoke to some Manager with the name as Vishal Kutvach and he told that he will personally look into the matter and by Monday 26th November my NOP service will be deactivated and and Tuesday 26th of November I received the same message again that Rs 5 has been deducted from your account fro the NOP service. Then I gave the call to customer service and wanted to speak to Vishal Kutvach and lady replied that he on leave then I spoke to Anish Sharma again I told the whole story and he told me that your service will be deactivate by 3rd of December. In between Rs5 has been deducted from my account everyday. If I count from 10th of November to 3rd December then it comes to 24days x Rs5 = Rs120 (One Hundred and twenty only) this much amount has been deducted from my account.

The customer service provider by the name karthi has received 1,500 Rs. We asked him to cancel the same as it took more than a month. Now it more than 4 months we still have not got the money back which he promised will be sent through check.

I am Venkatraman. I purchased one airtel card in October 2017. Mobile no: [protected]. I recharged the card to get 1 year validity. Now as the validity is over, I recharged the card again for Rs.467 to get the 6 year validity. But even after recharging the card for 5 year validity I was getting the SMS from AIRTEL that your validity is over and your service will be disconnected in one day like that.When I checked this with AIRTEL customer care they were telling this is already entered messages in their system, so don't worry about it . But within 1 week time my outgoing calls disconnected and next day total service got disconnected. When we asked about this to airtel they were just giving some stupid reply that I was asking for billing system that is why they disconnected the service. Such a worst service I never find any where in the world. So don't go for this Stupid AIRTEL service.

This is with regards to Mobile recharge through SMS done through my Airtel Mobile number [protected].I did a recharge for Rs 399 on 10-OCT-07 for Rs 399. The Transaction was not successful. Because my validity got expired on 12-oct-07, i recharged my mobile on 13-oct-07. Now i have validity till Apr -08. When i called Airtel and asked ,Mr .Imran and Mr.Vijay senior Executives responeded and told that they would solve the issues within 4 days. But it has been 1 month since the complaint was raised.But No response.

I was using airtel connection from last few month. I request on coustomer for local pack by wgich my local cal would be 1 Rs. The person on other side told me my plan is changed afret 24 hour. After two days a called again then the person told me it will take one more day. This story continous for next 10 days. After that i again called on coustomer care no 121. Then the representive told me the request take 24 working hour. and there was saturday and sunday and two day leave so that is a reason my request is not processed. And he also told me is coustomer care representive told 24 hour it means 24 working hour mean 3 days, becouse in a day on 8 houir is working. Then i ask him who told him all that. Then he close my services. My services opened after 3 days, when i call on coustomer care no many time. Who give the right to coustomer care agent to close the service. They think k "Company unke baap ki hai".

There was a shublabh offer for a recharge money for which they give a deadline. After recieving their email we need to reply them with the address in indiawhere they send the gift hamper. I had done that twice and still they say haven't received, i have a copy of both the emails. Then they said the 2nd email received was after the deadline... which is again wrong, i asked need to speak to supervisor, well ! supervisor is not on floor ,, will be available after 4 hours ..which would be midnight time in usa... need to be awake just to speak to them... airtel running buisness without a responsive person on duty... then representative says, well he is in an urgent meeting... LOOKS TO BE ALL FAKE ANSWERS TO COVER UP. I ASKED FOR THE NAME OF THE SUPERVISOR, SHE SAID NOT ALLOWED TO TELL... CANNOT TRUST AIRTEL ANYMOREEE... cheating people.

Every month rs.99 have been deducted my account for portfolio managment. This service have been deactivated from my side 04 mnths back. I spoke to customer care officers mr, raj. Mr sundeep. Mr amog. All of them said that the money has been wrongly cut andrs. 396 will be refunded in 24 hrs. So today I talked to mr pankaj who rudely cut my conversatation. And as of the money has not been

I complaint more than 30 times to airtel customer care. But they are not able to block a single message. For every single message rs 1 is debited from my balance. Airtel is cheating the customers by this nos. These message can not come to u when u have no balnce. Dont beleive in airtel

My Mobile Number is [protected]. On 19Dec2007 without my concern I was subscribed to Value Pack 99 & the amount INR 99 was deducted from my balance. I have complained the same to AIRTEL three times from 21Dec2007 to 25Dec2007 on the number 121 and I was told that I will be credited the deducted amount. But still now I have not received the same.

The above action by the Bharti Airtel shows that the company is doing the theft from its customers. We have decided to discontinue the 10 to 12 mobile service from Airtel along with my family members& relatives .

Dear ###ed up Airtel service...
well... first of all i will never ever recomnd any one to get an airtel connection in CHENNAI... i just recharged my airtel prepaid for 121 twice and the ###ing money was deducted from my ICICI account immiditely... but my ### prepaid never showd up.. after all tht i decided to talk to the cust care Idiots... none of them gave me a proper solution.. I AM NOT RUNNING ANY ###ING ORPHANAGE HERE.. PLS STOP ROBBING MONEY LIKE THIS... AM GONNA DEAL THIS IN A DIFFERENT WAY..! ANY WAY.. GUYS ..! WAKE UP..! NEVER EVER BUY AN AIRTEL CONNECTION.. SPECIALLY IN CHENNAI..!

I activated MMS in my nokia 6020 about a month ago and saved the settings. MMS service was not working after that.I bought a brand new nokia 5300 couple of days back and repeated the same process.MMS is still not working. I consulted the airtel showroom at ascendas(chennai) and also called the customer care.I was told the same old story time and again "save settings..switch off..send to your own number".The service has still not been activated.This is the limit of lack of responsibility.Please do the needful at the earliest.

I had a airtel prepaid connection and was paying the bill thru ECS. Last year since i was moving out of India for a year I requested AIrtel to disconnect the connection and subsequently to stop the ECS. But to my surprise Airtel ppl have taken one extra installment for which i have not taken their service. After very hard argument with them they finally agreed that mistake has happened from them and they assured to give back money, But this has not happened yet. I am fighting with Airtel guys to get my amout back since six month. But one thing is sure Airtel people are Cheaters... they simply take money from your ECS account and they grow...

Don't trust Airtel guys

I am not able to send messages and call from past 2 days, what the hell is this going on in airtel network, are the customer care service providers are sleeping.

i can not get my mms which i got from Banglabesh. it has got stored in the web www.airtelworld.com/mms. and even the coustomer care service is not helping me. so tell me how to get or receive that mms from the web because as i am logging in the sight it is responding as an unknown host.
