Car service and service center staff unethical behaviour
I am writing this to highlight the service and attitude of staff in Al Futtaim service center-Abu dhabi towards the customer. We had bought a car from al futtaim auto mall last month - (Nissan Altima-2017 model) there was some maintenance and servicing work pending in the car - (Front light panel broken), (front passenger seat speaker not working), (passenger seat door is vibrating) and I was informed that the parts are not available and will soon inform once arrived for service. when I follow up with Mr. Gopan he is replying very rudely & unprofessional way stating-"parts are not available and atleast your car is still in working condition when it will stop come back to us for service, till wait." I really would like to suggest a brand like Al Futtaim should focus on good customer executive who will deal with the clients professionally and fulfill their commitments for better quality and service.

I booked my for my toyota camry 2014 se on 3 of July 2021 saturday for abnormal noise from cold engine, today 5 July 2021 at 4 pm the mechanics still not sure that noise is exactly from where it coming. And the mechanics they are asking to change the diferent parts i already change from outside, there is not difference between outside worj shop and al futtaim

I booked Honda Civic for summer check up/service. Arrived at Rashidiyya service center at 1100 as booked. Now it's 2 hrs and my car still in the parking.
Not sure why you book the service and make people wait for nothing. Believe once the service is booked for a given time, then the work should start within 15-20 min. As while booking you should know the actual time of the job rather than people waiting for nothing. If this is not the case then better not make bookings and ask to come as walk-in. The idea of prebooking is to save the time rather waiting and wasting time. Trust you agree .

unexpected problems found during 1st service

I purchased dodge charger SE 3.6L, model: DG220114 mileage: 117953 from Al Futtaim, on February 2021 and my 1st service was due for mileage 126000KMS. Firstly i called M/s Al futtaim on 31st may 2021 to book my service and they have given me service date on 9th june 2021 which is 10 days after my date of calling (as attached) due to which i have to lower down my usage of vehicle.
secondly, if they say that 1st service is covered than why have they charged 408 AED after service.
Still i can accept above stated points but thirdly during the service they have found both engine mounting need to be replaced along with engine pulley also (as attached proforma invoice). Just for an information i am a graduate in mechanical and automobile engineering and nothing on earth can damage these two things during this short period of time and on the normal roads. I have never been to any mountain area neither i have driven my vehicle on such roads which can damage engine mounting and crank pulley. Engine mounting is made of aluminium is one of the most strong part as whole engine is mounted on them and rested on chassis. On the other hand pulley is made of cast iron. I am shocked to see these things coming up in my first service itself. I cannot bear this unexpected and unseen problems. Kindly do needful and rectify this problems.

Greetings.
I purchased toyota fortuner in december 2019 and I was given a reward card worth of aed 2000 at that time. I tried to use that card in a few outlets in next few months but it didn't work for the reason unknown to me. When I verified in website, the validity of the card was shown as 31st may 2024. Hence, I didn't care to complaint about the malfunction of the card, back then. However, when I brought the issue 4 weeks ago to "emlpayments" who is the card provider, they told me that the card is valid only for one year and they can't review it until the showroom advises them.
I contacted the showroom in sheikh zayed road and they told me to go to festival city showroom. When I went there, they told me that only card provider can help on this. I followed this with again with card provider (emlpayments). After many emails and follow up card provider sent email that only showroom shall take action on this. I forwarded that email and followed it up with the sales representative mr. Prijith venugopalan (currently in festival city showroom) who just kept promising me that he would take action but ultimately no response. He always disconnects my call and never calls me back. I managed to talk to him once (by calling from different mobile phone) and he didn't give me ant definite answer. I had a bad experience with this gentleman even when I purchased the car. He was very prompt until I paid the amount for the new car and right after that his service to me (delivery of the car, registration etc) was very bad.
The website still shows that my card is valid until 31st may 2024 and the balance in the card is aed 2000 but I am unable to use that. I request you to kindly help in this regard. Kindly advise who from the toyota showroom can help on this.

Delivery of second key
My name is Savio and I totally trusted Al futtaim automall in Mussafah and as instructed by the salesman I did everything and after some visits i got the car delivered and the tyres were older than the car itself.But its ok as long as its running. My complaint is against the delivery of my second car key which is not yet delivered after following up with the sales person who is completely not helpful after the purchase and even Alfuttaim is not responding to my messages in their Instagram page and the after sales service and response is very bad in Automall. I recommend nobody gets in this trap unless everything gets delivered on time. After enquiring about the key many times after the stipulated time of deliverey, the sales guy was rude to me and i dint want to get back to him as we customers never thought of Alfuttaim like this. I dont know when i will ge the second key as nobody is useful or responsive to the customers once they close their sale.
I regret buying from Alfuttaim automall branch.

I got call from Al futaim service representative 02:00pm, that is my vehicle was ready to deliver.

When I reached to the location at Al Ain I was surprised! Vehicle found very dirty condition and service team just sprayed the water on the vehicle and staff told me to take the vehicle from the location without cleaning. I was asked to clean the vehicle in proper manner they said time finished you can complaint to management through mail or come after two days. I was left the car at branch and took the taxi to my home. My kids is sick and I took the appointment at 08:15 pm. Your staff spoiled My valuable time and money due to your substandard services.

Minor service Delaying
I have called to book an appointment for minor service and when I arrived. I was informed that it will take few hours or maximumthe next day as it is only changing oil and filters. Now It has been 3 days already. I didn't receive any call from them. Even trying to call them to know the status of my car just saying someone will contact you within 10 min but none is calling. Really I didn't expect that from toyota. Very poor service.

Chemicals being used to clean up cars interior

To be honest, I am surprised of number of complaints mentioned on this sire and I was not expected to see ANY on a big name like AL Futtaim Group. However, mistakes happen and listening to customers should be a priority.
I am not sure whether I am writing here to complain as much as to provide an advice to avoid serious health issue that might raise because of the chemicals the company is using to clean cars interior, or may be its authorized to be used, YET, you cannot hand in a car with this strong smell to a customer who ended up in hospital because of SINUSITIS.
Sinusitis could prevent you do your daily tasks properly, I have been sick for days after, even my wife and my son got affected. I had to keep my cars windows open over nights. The smell was tremendously strong while writing this I can remember and feel the smell damaging my brain. Something needs to be done and please be careful, this negligence might harm and be very serious.

I took my RAV4 car for 100, 000 Service in Toyota Sheikh Zayed Road branch, when the car was received before the service it was perfectly fine and no damage, but when I saw the car after the service there was damage in the spare tire cover which the locks are missing.
Upon seeing this damage, I immediately contacted Toyota to complain, I even get the number of RAMEEZ ABBAS and send him a WhatsApp picture to show the damage and missing locks. Every week I keep on calling and requesting feedback.
I received a call after 2 weeks from RAMEEZ ABBAS, saying that he received the car with damage. This is very unacceptable, as I know when I took the car there is no damage.
It's very unprofessional to assume that it was received with damage, without any proof! I believe it's not fair for any of your clients to go through so much hassle of complaining again and again just to have action and check the complaint.
Kindly please put yourself in my position having gone through all these troubles. I hope that you value your customer, having a professional staff, and note that TOYOTA SERVICE is not very cheap to experience like this.

Complaint against huge estimate
I have Toyota yaris 2008 model. I received a call from alfuttaim motors that they have received instructions that 2008 model has some air bag issues. Bring the car we will repair for free. I told them that I had an accident and both the bags already burst. They said no issues just bring they would check. When I took my car to Sharjah alwahda alfuttaim centre they gave me an estimate of 35027 dirhams. I surprised and said to that guy that my car current price is about 8000 dirhams. So I refused to get it repaired. After that when tried to renew my registration on line ( during those days due to covid, on line registration was allowed) I found a remark that it cannot be, contact alfuttaim. When I revisited same sharjah office they (manager on duty) said that either get it repaired or throw into Scrap.
Hence I could not get it renewed so far.
However I could not do anything except highlighting this incident on SOCIAL MEDIA against alfuttaim that as much loss and torture given to me.

We, Ditty Trading LLC, have given our Toyota Rush for loud noises in the engine to AL Badia Service centre since 19.4.2021, handler is Mr.Sarish Sathyan-[protected] and his Superior Mr.ALI.
Toyota has been very unprofessional throughout, till yesterday they were finding the cause and report was not made by their workshop, today they have not emailed us the report, they are saying it will take another 7 days and still have not provided me with a spare car it has been ELEVEN days since they have the car.
We have incurred expenses for our business for which we used the car AED 200 daily which has come up to AED 2200 for 11 days and AED 200 daily for every extra day.
Kindly refund us the amount, As well as provide us with a spare car and kindly repair our car at the earliest.

This is complaint regarding my Triplus Policy No. 111947 That I take from Orient Insurance Which I Paid 8, 264 AED Extra which i added my Capital by mistaken / As I check with Customer Care and make Call Mr Kumaravel and Mr Rajesh Nair as per instruction My Agent Ms Deepa jithin also communicated this Regarding My Last email That still not get reply I tried to Get By mobile as well, no one take Proper Professional support after Take money from me . I was frustrated because of your unethical business and non professional agent / Support.
I will Explain What Agent Ms Deepa jithin Told While I took My policy from 2015 and She still told me that capital amount + 1% Guaranteed return. I already explained via phone and I explained what Agent Mr. Deepa jithin told me while I take Your Policy .
This is for higher management to investigate this financial trap / suspect that your finance Triplus Policy Department. When i meet 2015 with Ms. Deepa jithin I have to pay every quarterly 2011 then after 2 year i will get money back 10000/- also 4th Year i will get 10000/- AED the 6th year I don't want to make any payment . That was Proper explanation with all my questions. I signed the attached copy (name-Al Futtaim Insurance Agrement )find second last PDF Proof Illustration plan . She clearly Told me that 6th Year money I can keep Or I can reinvest also Balance will get final settlement, She also Told me I will get Capital amount Guaranteed + 1 % return So My 6th year Settlement I should not be paid because of you completed payment and you will get 12501 AED/- Balance But you can take only 10000 /- (will not get 2051 because maximum 10000 you will get vai cheque ) (6th Year 2021 That I paid without take 10000/-), She used the paper Explain Illustration as i attached ), So i ask her if i take 10000/- AED ?, she told balance I have 2501 AED- This I will make adjustment amount [protected] =5, 510 AED /- 6th year I have to pay If I take money . Or If I keep Balance will credit (12501+8011 ) final settlement. So I trust Your company with your and Illustration Paper That I signed She Explain using the same paper that I signed Illustration Plan, So i believe My capital won't get any loose also. That calculation reached 40000/- AED .
What happen My cause I don't make payment quarterly I make payment every 24 month SO I only check now that how much I pay 670.33*72 = 48, 264 SO I paid extra 48, 264 AED/-

Jeep Compass 2018 Breakdown
I am writing with regards to the Jeep Compass (2018) that I bought from Al Futtaim Automall in October 2020 (mileage 32000KM). After 6 months of purchase (mileage 39000KM), on 14th April 2021, While coming from office to home i suddenly observed that there is a noise coming from the engine compartment. I stopped my Jeep immediately and called to recovery for pickup the Jeep. I took it to the Alfutaim automall service center in Umme Ramool (Dubai). That time Service center was closed due to Ramadan timings. i drop the key and registration to security.
Next Day Alfutaim automall service center guy called me and told me that i have also Jeep manufacturer warranty so they are sending Jeep to their service center. i agreed on that.
After 5 days Alfutaim service center guy called me and told me that there is some problem in connecting Rod in engine and Jeep service center guys are still trying to find more problem. During these 5 days i called many times to Alfutaim and Jeep Service center as well but failed to get any response from them. Technically they don't know how to fix the issue, Very poor, lazy and unprofessional service i ever seen i my life.
Now i would say that Al Futtaim Automall vehicles are not reliable, as i drove my Jeep only 7000KM after purchase and broke down on normal speed. After spending 80K AED for my Jeep, it is not at all professional for the Al Futtaim Automall service center to not fix the customer's problems and reply professionally.
I have checked online that some customers facing similar problem and i am sure this problem i will face in future as well even after fixing, there needs to be a resolution! Appreciate if you could kindly look into this matter. Thank you.
Lexus NX 300 mismanagement of sale
I have recently purchased an NX 300 2021 model on April 11th. Paid a single cheque for the full agreed upon amount that Muneer Al Omari got back to us with. Even purchased the service contract to go with the car.
My delivery was scheduled today, instead I had Muneer Al Omari yell at my husband and me for asking what's happening with our car.
I was shocked and terrified and am ready to file a formal complaint for his behaviour for this harassment.
He also completely trashed the Al Futtaim management and blamed them for not approving the car in the system. I don't understand why a full payment was taken from us if the car was unapproved.
Upon complaining to Al Futtaim, I had Zaher Alameh call us to "pacify" us with a 1000 dirham stay voucher and tinting worth AED 1, 699 (which we know from Muneer was 899 as he tried to sell it to us at the time of purchase), as long as we pay an additional AED 2, 000 after which Al Futtaim will happily release the car. I am not interested in any vouchers. I would just like the purchase to be honoured. In fact for all the inconvenience I'd expect a discount to be thrown in, instead of being asked to pay more for a car that I have already bought!
After paying the entire amount for a deal, having it deducted from our account, we are now being told to pay an additional amount to get the delivery.

Customer service at honda festival city showroom
I am a returned customer of Al Futtaim motors, bought on 2008 a Honda Civic and last month a new Honda City 2020 which was registered with plate number P53595 Dubai.
The sales person who sold the car left Al Futtaim few days after the purchase and the car was delivered to me through another person. This person provided wrong information about the warranty period of tinting saying it is 2 years instead of 5. The resigned sales person gave me contact number of the showroom business development manager. I called him to clarify few issues and asked him about the sunshade which I should have received but told at the time of delivery that it is out of stock. He said it should arrive within the month of March. I followed up with the BD manager today through WhatsApp and he sent me a landline number to call it. He told me upon asking that it is the showroom direct number. When I called I have been told that the sunshade is not available and they don't know when it will be. The way the people have responded by request was totally not professional as an order should be placed for any out of stock item with estimated delivery date. Regardless the item which is still my right to have these people do not properly represent Al Futtaim who built his good reputation over decades and is much less quality service than 12 years ago when I first bought my Honda Civic from Al Futtaim.
Desired outcome: Improvement in quality service and increase the value of customer satisfaction in addition to providing the sunshade the earliest possible.
