I went into the ampm to buy a frozen drink and also a horchata fountain drink. I decided to put whipped cream on the top of my horchata drink. When I was at the register the employee Joyce gave me my total of $7.04. I was very confused at that time because I didn't understand why it was so much. When I asked for a receipt she got an attitude and then forgot to give me my $0.01 change and got an attitude about that as well. I went in to my car and handed my passenger where drink and I looked at the receipt and took my drink the horchata with whipped cream back into the store with my receipt. She had charged me for a frozen coffee extra extra large for $4.39 in place of my fountain horchata medium sized drink. I asked her for a refund and to fix the price she said no because I added whipped cream she is charging me $4.39 for the horchata with whipped cream. I then asked her for her managers name and phone number and she said she was the only manager I'll mind you with a very very rude attitude. I asked her for the ampm corporate phone number and she said she doesn't have it I'll just have to get a hold of ampm somehow.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund of the difference between the horchata fountain drink medium size and what I was charged for the frozen coffee extra extra large for $4.39 I would also like the employee Joyce to be written up.
I went to AM/PM and got a fountain drink listed on the window for 89 cents. When I went to pay, the clerk charged me 1 dollar. I asked why it was 1 dollar when the sign says 89 cents and he said that was after tax. When did California put a tax on fountain drinks? Also, when did tax on a dollar become 11 cents? I live in Kern County. Last time I checked, tax here is 8.5%
