My child went to the ampm on 3828 E desert inn road Las Vegas, NV 89121 to but toilet paper but instead bought paper towels as they did not have any. I instructed him to go return it and get my money back at 2:30pm on 8/21/2023, he went to go get it and they denied it saying he needed a receipt so when he came home he told me and I went myself. When I arrived I waited in line and saw both cashiers check people out but not offer the receipt and people had to ask for their receipt to get one. When it was my turn I pointed it out and also pointed out my brother did ask for one when he came the first time and wasn’t offered one or given one at requesting. I told them I want to return the paper towels and my money back. I do admit I was irritated because this was not just my siblings mistake but also I shouldn’t have had to come if they gave the receipt in the first place. The lady said she would get her boss, when he came up to the register I explain agin the whole thing and was pointing out the company most likely has a policy about receipts and I should have to come this way to return something. While I am explaining the male cashier and lady are rolling their eyes and then the lady cashier started talking real disrespectful and I told her I wasn’t talking to her I was talking to the manager and to butt out. At this time she was yelling and cussing at me so I cussed back amd told her to shut tf up. The manager had to hold his arm up against her chest and block her as she was trying to get in my face and threatened me while he was telling me do I want my refund or not I told him yes and to control her as that is not professional at all. She kept yelling and me and cussing at me for no reason even when I was talking to the manager and not her. I would like to have this investigated because he seemed more inclined to protect his staff member who was physically trying to attack me and then had the nerve to threaten me about getting my refund. He didn’t tell the lady to stop or to be quiet or anything.
