I have visited this applebees quite a few times and on every occasion the customer service is the same. The waitress doesn't come to our table promptly and then when asked to speak to a manager one comes over with as bad an attitude as the waitress gives. I have also noticed on each occasion that every time i have to ask the server where our waitress is and also why I've been waiting twenty minutes without even getting any service at all, only to have a larger party than the one im in walk right in and get served... The manager on duty even had the nerve to touch the brother on the shoulder and stand up for his employees ### service. I asked the manager if i could have his name and the district managers name and telephone number only for him to reply its in the phone book... As a manager of two restaurants and a customer i don't expect to be treated like that from anyone in the same position. We all work hard for our money and shouldn't be made to feel as if our patronizing a restaurant is a nuisance . So finally when the server finally walked over to offer me a drink when she saw us speaking to the manager i got up and walked out, and i will never return again... and they wonder why so many applebees stores are closing... ill give you one guess the lack of customer service...

We to applebees last nite, ordered appetizer, server put it in, came back took food order, apppetizer came out, took one bite then server came with food, so how do you determine whitch one to eat and whitch one you let sit and get cold.this is the second time this has happened, manager apoligized, took half price off appetizer, big deal, not happy with service, manager and server were very nice and polite, food was excellent, but something needs to be done to allow adequate time between apps and meals times.have always enjoyed the food and service, but this needs fixin.

In reading the complaint's about apple bees i agree 100% we live in cutler bay miami florida and visiting apple bees in cutler bay bay mall the waitress the manager they all all have a funkey rotten attitude, we one ask to use the phone to call a cab the waitress said they dont have a telephone, we have also notice that blacks takes longer to be served apple bees has the same RACIAL problems as DENNYS use to have, BOYCOTTING and MONETERING certian APPLE BEES like the one in cutler long time COMMING

I have a complaint concerning Applebees in Waycross, GA. We were there for Happy Hour and the drinks were horrible. The bartender said if we wanted top drinks we should pay top price. This was at 9:00 PM on 9/8/2010. I have been to other places such as Texas Roadhouse and the drinks were just as tasty as any other time and it would be happy hour. The bartender said they were already pre-mixed and if we wanted TOP drinks PAY TOP PRICE. Needless to say we will not go back to this APPLEBEES.

Ok don't take this the wrong way, but you are an idiot if you think 33 dollars for 3 people is unreasonable. And secondly, you could have got a different dressing for your salad. Western and French are exactly the same thing just for future reference. Third, the fact that your drink was flat meant that the fountain mix was empty and needed to be replaced. It would have been all too simple to let your server or bartender know, have them fix it, and get you a new drink. Do not equate you having bad food and a bad drink with having bad service. They are two very different things.

We used to love these people and services that was so friendly to customers once they are being serviced for one time after they are serviced first time then start to run them off by cook them very hard food and service them these food that old food that was cooked from yesturday that the other customer did not want they freeze them food for next service and tasted very old and hard so I went to Manager told them off then they said nothing they can do about it and it's the law to cook fresh food and thow old food away its the law We pay for the food enough to be fresh not old! Then alittle bit later in year I told them I had giftcard and it has $100.00 on it they said it is $0.00 balace zero on it and I had no cash on me then I looked and looked for right giftcard it was it some one stole it all from me and The Manager said I had to from now on come up front to order foods before I can be sitted then I told them that they can have that restrant it is so nasty and dirty very dirty nasty restrant in USA in Marshall Mo. 65340

The staff at the Applebees at 40 and Sterling in Idependence MO are mentally unhinged. I will not be returning as a customer. My complaint is similar to that of some others. The waiter barely communicated, slammed plates and cups on the table and barely said 2 words and when he did speak, it was some smart alec quip. Unlike others, we never asked to speak to a manager. One came to our table and almost challenged us to complain. I refused, and when my husband complained, the manager defended that watier. It was surreal. I kept waiting for the hidden cameras to come out. I just wanted to get the hell out of that crazy zone.

We have given the Applebees here in Brunswick Ga numerous times to get the food some what half way descent. It is AWFUL! to say the least... we have been given COLD GREASE SOAKED FOOD, along with TENFOIL as a to go container! Seriously? NEVER will we eat there again.

I travel all over the state of VA for my job and EVERY Applebees I have been to is the worst! It is so dirty and the service is horrible. I checked the Health Dept. website and one rest. in particular had several violations due to uncleanliness issues. I will never go to another one as long as I live.

we are always at applebee, at least 2-3 times a week .and iam a steak eater why cant I get bread with our meals, ps will not be seeing me again

This sounds much more like a suggestion rather than something to actually complain about. Waiters/waitresses make tips and try at least partially to make customers happy ...why not drop them this suggestion next time? It doesn't seem like a very valid reason to forgo an establishment you enjoy unless you expect them to be mind readers too.

Ok, I chose your restaurant because you have the weight watcher's menu. So i goggled and one of the options under Applebees was WW. So of course I chose that. It took me to a page that had nothing to do with WW and nothing to select on that page at all. That was just the beginning of the problem.

I tried looking at the menu, no points.

I also tried, unsuccessfully to choose my favorite (not any more) restaurant. I tried it 2 or 3 different ways, and it never saved it.

Your website looks pretty, but is pretty much non-functional.

It's not a useless website, if you know how the internet site works. The Applebees website says "Introducing New! Delicious Choices..underneath it says Endorsed by Weighwatchers. Underneath that it says Try Now> Clcik where it says try now and hark you get all those entrees Endoresed By Weightwatchers.

After reading all of the complaints about the different Applebee's around the country, I don't feel so bad. I would like to make a complaint about the Applebee's in Brunswick, Georgia. First, let me start off by saying...is there drug testing done before hiring the waiters/waitresses. Many of the waiters and waitresses are highed up when serving you and look like they have just come from the gutter with [censor] marks all up and down their arms...YUCK! Secondly, the food is the worst! It's either always cold or charred and the drinks there are so watered down, it's pathetic. Thirdly, and most importantly...the manager there (Shareef is his name) is the most arrogant, rude and ignorant person that I have ever met. He's rude to the customers and he's rude to his staff.

The applebee's in Lithonia, GA at stonecrest mall is awful! I attempted to place an order by phone at 6:35pm, I was placed on hold for 10 minutes and 18 seconds before a staff member picked up the phone and hung up. I proceeded to place another order at 6:49pm, I was placed on hold for 12 minutes and 30 seconds, at this time I was in the restaurant observing my phone call from the waiting area as the light on the phone was flashing. The hostess, by the name of D**, was speaking with a fellow server, by the name of Ch*&%, as they ate Krispy Kreme donuts in front of all the patrons waiting to be seated. I asked a bartender for the manager and she ignored me. I asked another host for the manager and he avoided my request and stayed out of sight. I am disappointed because I was unable to receive service and my problem couldn't be resolved by upper management. i spoke with the manager about the problem, showed him my phone to prove I was still on hold waiting for service after 20 minutes. He responded, "I know I see your call." I responded, "This is my second time calling, and the host nor the hostess provided me with service, they are just talking and eating Krispy Kreme donuts up front, I just want to place an order". Another server interceded raising her voice, "The Krispy Kreme guy dropped those off, ain't no body eatin up there" (verbatim), I responded to the manager, "I just passed a gentleman, by the name of Chris eating a donut?". The manager rebuttaled, "What are you talking about!" defensively. The server interceded again interrupting the manager, "He ain't on da clock!"(Verbatim). The manger agreed with the server, "Ma'am he's not on the clock." The manager then carried on with his duties accordingly and brushed off my complaint as he walked back into the kitchen. The young lady, interrupting then rolled her eyes at me and continued to serve her tables. I then left because no one would take my order for night, and I feared ordering despite what had happened, at the risk of my meal being contaminated.

at the New Hyde Park Applebees in New York, had a car side to go order of 2 for 20. Order the sirloin, ask for a medium well and got home and got a raw to medium. Had to cook the meat again before eating. Sent a message to Corporate and then the manager of Applebees call back 3 times but I wasn't available. Sent me an email saying I should tell them if there is a problem next time or tell the cook. That doesn't help because it was a car side to go take out order! I sent a picture of the raw meat and a copy of the receipt. I got no response so I sent it again. The manager wrote back with the same comments that I should let them know next time or the cook. Obviously it does me no good cuz it was a take out order. Bad response from manager and I forward that response to corporate. I won't get another response back probably!

My husband and I went to Applebee's a while back and ordered the same meal. The only difference in the meal was I had NO diced tomato's on my pasta. Someone how the dish with the tomato on it was piping hot and the one without was ice cold. When we asked why the food came that way, they had no answer. We never even got the bread that was supposed to come with the meal. We were told several times that it would be out in five minutes. Mind you we were there nearly an hour and NEVER got it. So needless to say, we hadn't gone back. Well we decided what could the harm be in going out for dessert on Mother's Day. Well the harm was the "Molten Lava Cake" was half warm and half frozen. So that had to go back. They came back with another one that was slightly better. So my husband ate the ice cream because I hate vanilla. He gets to the end of it, and there's either a dried up onion bit, or a chewed finger nail. So again we won't be back EVER! Thanks Hanford Applebee's!

I'm over 50, i look 35, I applied for a server position, had the interview, made the mistake of telling the manager who interveiwed me, I had manager expierence. Well, she obviously was threathened by a well-versed, highly trained, non gum chewing, self-asured, articulate woman.
No call back, no letter of regret, no job! But it's okay, because i knew from the get go i wouldn't fit in, basically because i don't call my guests, GUYS! There loss.

All of the good good managers they had moved on, especially when I Hop hostilly took them over. The good servers who really cared about and valued the guests have been ridiculed, verbally tortured, and threatened, have moved on or been terminated for meager reasons by risk management teams. A shameful display of corporate policy and violation of reasonable ethical treatment.

I have been increasingly dissappointed in Applebee's food, service &&&&& Management. The one on duty was one that trained me 20 years ago. Yes, I worked for them for 12 years. I just dropped $40 bucks on crappy service, insults, and crushed memories of what Applebee's USE TO BE:(

My wife and I went to a local Applebees here in Evansville on 2/19/2011. I was so dissatisfied with the service I received that I will no longer eat there again. First I ordered a drink and after the waiter took my order told me that I had been the fifth custormer to order that drink in the past week and they did not have the ingredents for that drink again, then we ordered our meal and other customers that came in 10 to 15 mins after us were already eating thier meals before us, when all we ordered was soup and salads and chicken tenders. they did not get what we ordered right our food was cold. then the manager came by to see if everything was ok and we voiced our complaints that we had, he acted as if he didnt care, then they treated us like we not there. this is the last time this will ever happen to us, and word of mouth goes a long way.

On Saturday 01/29/2011 my wife and I decided to go to Applebee's located at 579 Brookwood Village, Birmingham, AL 35029 for a late lunch around 2:30p. The restaurant was not packed neither was it busy. After sitting for approximately 10 minutes waiting for our server to come introduce himself he finally showed up to take our drink orders. When he brought us our drinks my wife and I placed our orders and I ordered a salad with my meal. At that point my wife and I waited for our food and watched 2 other couples that were seated after us get there food before us. In the meantime our server is nowhere to be found and no one came to refill our drinks. Then finally another server comes up saying that there was a shift change and that he would be our server. We finally got our food after 30min of ordering. However, our waiter continued to walk past us and check on other tables and not even checking on us to refill our drinks. When I asked to speak to the manager he went and got him. When the manager came over and I explained to him the situation he actually defended the server and used the excuse that he was new and that the previous server should have informed us that there was a shift change. Its very frustrating to know that your company hires managers that doesn't know the importance of customer service especially in the restaurant business. I've been working customer service all my life and what I saw was far from it. This was a horrible experience and the manager didn't make it any better. I can understand the slow service if the restaurant was jammed pack but it wasn't! After that experience I don't know if I will ever go back to applebee's and I know for a fact I'm not going back to that particular location.

On January 8, 2011, my daughter grandaughter and I went to Applebees, for lunch The service was fine, the waitress was a sweet young girl. Our food came in a timely manner, but as our meal progressed, my daughter was eating her last chicken boneless wings, she cut it open and it was RAW. I dont mean undercooked, I mean raw My daugher who has many food issues to begin with, was beside herself. I asked to speak to the Manager, Sabrina Hogge, and he eventually showed up at our table. The Manager acted as though this were aevery day occurence and we were bothering her with trivialness. She then asked if verything else on the platter was eaten and then took $5.0 off our check. I, personally, thought this was ludacris but no where near as ludacris as the devil may care attitude from the Manager. She never even offered us an apology. In an instance such as this an apology and some sense of caring would have gone much further than $5.00 off the bill. I know that the manger did not cook the food, but I am under the impression that they are responsible for everything that leaves the kitchen. I implore that you remind your employees of the benefits of customer service. Thanks you for listening.

My mother drove to our local Applebees restaurant in San Angelo Texas to pick up an order at the drive through. She had worked all day and was exhausted. When she got home, the order was completely wrong. She called and asked to speak with a manager and neither one (Tina Garza nor Jeremy Tanner would speak with her. She was told they were too busy. Unbelievably poor management! We won't be going back. This was very poor customer service. A simple acknowledgement would have saved them a customer.

I was hanging out at the Applebees in Mount Kisco, New York. I had been hangin out there for about 2 years. The staff at this restaurant continually made bias comments regarding a percieved sexual orientation. One of the waitresses named Michelle walked behind me and stated, "We all know your a ###". She went as far as to tell her sister, who works there too, "Don't talk to him, he is a ###". I write music for TV and Films. I told one of the waiters about my musical endeavors, he ran to his manger and told him. The manager said, ":Yeah. Broke Back Mountain". There is a guy named Robbie who works there. He was outside in the parking lot getting hihg with another employee. He threatened me. Another employee said to me, "Aids". With no sort of promt from me whatsoever. Yeah, what about aids? There were 3 gentlemen on the other side of the bar. One of them made a little heart from one of the bevnapps. When they left, the bartender told me, "He's definitely gay". I worte to Applebees several times. The other night I had just at. I called the Applebees number and complained about things like this and others. I went to the resaurant and talked to the manager. I told him some things another patron was saying. She told the staff at this place I am gay. She also told everyone that I have a severe mental illness. The manger, Frank, told me I was supposed to take this woman outside and talk to her about it. What? Got that? I am supposed to take this old drunken woman who is refered to as "Annoying" outside and talk to her about it? Upon complaining about the actions of the stoned employee "Robbie" and the fact that I had him on my digital camera practically stalking me from the other side of the bar and threatening me, I was told to leave. I called the Applebees number as saoon as I got kicked out and told them what happened. I agree with these comments. Applebees is a horrible restaurant. They have no class at all. Reading these comments, I am glad to see my complaints are similar to others here.

LOL Nope. No drag queens for me. I did have a bass player back in '86-'87 who ultimately got a sex change. Didn't bother me. We were making so much money, it would have been foolish to replace a integral part of a great band. Priorities my boy, priorities. (He is the worste looking woman you have ever seen though. Didn't go for the Playboy model look) LOL

me and my family went to the applebees friday night on the 28th of oct and the service wasnt good and our food wasnt good either. it was cold and it took along time for us to get drinks and refills on our drinks. we didnt even finish our food we just got up and left. we would like to be reburst for our food. thank you.
