Auto Gallery Chicago, LLC sold us a 2015 Ford Transit van, and they said it had 24000 miles
Auto Gallery Chicago, LLC sold us a 2015 Ford Transit van, and they said it had 24000 miles. But after a week, we started to feel unsure about it, so we decided to get a Carfax report. Surprisingly, the report revealed that the van actually had 89000 miles on it. We confronted Auto Gallery with this evidence, but they simply denied it. In March , we reached out to the ComplaintsBoard.com (ComplaintsBoard.com) for help, but due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we haven't been able to resolve this issue yet. To get to the bottom of things, we hired an investigator who conducted a thorough investigation on this vehicle. It's clear that we are the unfortunate victims of fraud in this case.
Auto Gallery of Chicago sold us a 2000 Lexus LX 470, but they didn't check it out before selling it to us
Auto Gallery of Chicago sold us a 2000 Lexus LX 470, but they didn't check it out before selling it to us. They said they didn't have time to do that. We asked about the brakes, but they avoided answering and said the car had a long history of maintenance according to Carfax. But when we had a mechanic look at it, we found out that the car has holes in the frame, bad brakes and rotors, a gas leak, and a rusty and broken sway bar link/bracket. These problems make the car really unsafe to drive. They knew we were from out of state and would be driving a long way, but they still lied and let us take the car even though it's not safe. This breaks the implied warranty in Illinois, and they should be responsible for what they did. They took advantage of the fact that people really like these older Land Cruiser style cars for off-roading, and they charged us too much money for a car that's not in good shape. And they didn't tell us about the problems because we're from out of state.
I bought a 2014 **** 500L in June
I bought a 2014 *** 500L in June. The Carfax said the transmission got replaced in April this year, and since this car has a known issue with bad transmissions, I was happy to see it got replaced recently. The day after I got the car, the check engine light turned on, and the trans failed. It seems like the Carfax was wrong. I took the car back to Auto Gallery Chicago, like they told me, and their mechanic confirmed a bad trans. They sent the car to a local transmission shop, and every week, they said they had to order another part, and it should be fixed next week. This went on for six weeks, and then, when we went to get something from the car, they told us the car wasn't there anymore! They sent it to ANOTHER mechanic without telling me, and now they're saying it will take another two weeks! It's been TWO MONTHS, but I still have to make monthly payments for a car I don't have!

I drove down from Rochester MN to buy the car
I drove down from Rochester MN to buy the car. When I got there, I test drove it and the check engine light turned on. They made me go to their local mechanic who said the car is misfiring and needs the spark plug and coil replaced. They mentioned that they changed a few spark plugs and coils before and that the issue is related to that same problem. They advised me to change all the spark plugs and coils, which should fix it. I went back to town and had a shop look at the car and replace the spark plugs and coils, but it didn't solve the issue. They looked further and told me the valves are bad and the whole engine needs to be rebuilt or replaced. I contacted the dealer since it's still under the implied warranty of 15 days or 500 miles, but they refused to repair it or refund me. I will submit the estimate for the engine repair since a used engine for this car will be even more expensive. I contacted the dealer and their mechanic advised me to do a leak down test and compression test, which we did and both came back negative, indicating a bad engine. In our last conversation, they wanted me to take it to a Mercedes dealer to have it carbon cleaned. I asked who would pay for that and what we would do if it doesn't fix the issue. I asked because the warranty expires on 5/17 and I wanted to make sure I'm within that time frame. I called the Mercedes dealership and they said they would do the same process before they start rebuilding the engine or buy a different one. The repair for this is very expensive and I believe they should either repair it at their own cost or take the car back and give me a refund. I drove all the way to Illinois because I trusted the salesman and I feel like they haven't been honest with me.
I bought a car from this dealer, Auto Gallery of Chicago, located in ***
I bought a car from this dealer, Auto Gallery of Chicago, located in ***. I purchased a Cadillac 2013 XTS on 3/29/2022. They told me the vehicle had been serviced and had no problems. However, after driving it for a couple of days, I noticed that the service leveling system light came on. So, on 4/12/2022, I took the vehicle to *** of ***. They told me that someone had changed the ride system to straight shocks, which is why the light is staying on. I had to pay $410.00 to have it fixed. They also said that the transmission lines were leaking faulty ***, which I paid *** to fix. Then, they told me that the coolant recovery tank was leaking badly, and I had to pay $268.26 to have it replaced. They also said that both front axles were leaking grease badly and needed to be replaced, which cost me $480.00. In total, I paid $1951.25 for all these repairs. If I had known about these problems, I wouldn't have bought the car. The dealers told me it was problem-free. I called *** several times, starting on 4/14/2022. They said a guy named *** would call me back and asked me to fax over copies of *** to resolve the matter. I just wanted some of my money back since the car had so many undisclosed problems. However, I never received a call back. I called again on 4/18/4022, 4/19/2022, 4/20/2022, and 4/21/2022. I always talked to *** who said they received the *** and we could resolve the matter, but we were waiting on ***. He promised to call me back within the ***, but to this day, I'm still waiting for their call. I have all the *** but can't download them.
