I ordered a one year subscription on 9/19/2017 and paid for it with my visa credit card. The payment was approved by my VISA card. The receipt and activation instructions were sent to an old E-Mail account I no longer use. unauthorized charge
My Discover Card is showing a payment removed by DRI*AVAST on 8/31/17. The amount is $49.99. This is an unauthorized payment as I have not purchased any software. Don't know how they got the account number. Tried calling avast and was directed to their website. Doesn't seem to be any way to call or email them with a question or complaint. Haven't yet found a way to dispute the charge. Will probably call Discover and have the charge reversed.

On 26 August 2017 DRI*Avast Software [protected] U S charged my credit card an unauthorized amount of R815.00. I did not receive or install any product from them. I also never agreed to any membership fees been taken. I have disputed this payment with my bank but they have informed me that they are unable to assist with getting a refund because of the membership. I have had to replace my credit card to avoid further fraud by AVAST.
I can email copies of my correspondence with my bank if you require this, and send me your email address.
This has been an unpleasant experience, and I intend investigating other reliable antivirus software products instead .

On 2/8/2017 DRI AVAST SOFTW SHANNON CO. charged my personal MasterCard (ending 8085) the sum of 149.00 NIS without my prior permission. No, but NO ONE is entitled to use my bank account for any reason without my permission. Why is my card number still on Avast files? I used the service a number of times, but to my horror of horrors, Avast still has my card number available to use whenever they feel like it! I demand a refund immediately and to delete my MasterCard number from all files.

My name is Bethel Bates, Phila PA and I purchased internet security from AVAST in 2015. Ten months later (2016) I was auto billed for two subscriptions. They had double billed me. I contacted AVAST and told them that I did not sign up for auto billing and that they had double billed me and I wanted to cancel my subscription and wanted a refund. They sent me an email saying my subscription was cancelled and they would give me a refund. I never received the refund. Now it's 2017, nine months into that subscription, pop ups started to invade my computer and slow it down and days later AVAST had auto billed me yet again. I called to put a complaint in and speak to a supervisor and I was told that I could not speak to a supervisor or cancel the subscription over the phone. And that I had to go through the website to cancel. I went to the website and there was no button or drop down boxes that would lead a cancellation option. I would like my money back and my subscription cancelled. I do not want to deal with this company again.

On February 19, 2017 I purchased the above referenced software under Invoice ID [protected], Transaction ID 2EB85300A4546310K, for $49.99 USD. As of today August 21, 2017 I have not used this software due to a conflict created by the software with other software in my computer. I would greatly appreciate for Avast to issue an apportioned refund at least for the remaining months of the license (February 18, 2018- 6 months) for $24.99.

This company is stealing your money! I have made no updates whatsoever. I've been using the free trial which I still have 19 days remaining. My card was charged $43.69! Give me m money back or I am filing for a lawsuit for unauthorized charges. I am so angry that a company would purposely steal from it's customers. I did not even sign up for this, I was only using the free trial. I had no idea that free meant $43.69! Give me my money back!

I have had too much trouble with your software and your billing process. First.- I ordered AVAST Premier for 3 computers got a good deal. Shortly thereafter you refunded my money without permission. Your Customer Support couldn't solve the problem, then offered to sell it to me for 3 times as much. When I first reported this problem, the Customer Service person stated that they would send me an EMail within 1 hour and call me back within within one hour. NEITHER WAS DONE ! After all this I purchased AVAST Premier for my computer- It was supposed to be $ 19.99- I WAS CHARGED $29.99. I purchased A vast cleanup for 3 computers. My account shows the payment and that the account is active; however, when I try to use it, it comes up as AVAST CLEANUP FREE! Customer service was again no help !
Lastly I was charged $ 79.99 for a renewal that I did not authorize. I don't even know what it was for since I received no notification prior to the charge. I want a refund for that and resolution of the problems I have had with activation.
I would also like to speak with someone that is capable of solving issues - preferably someone that does not have a heavy accent.

I'm one of your clients who used Avast free trial. By doing so I added my paypal account through your website to get those services that costed 0, 0$. It's been a month that I have been using the free trials and the free services and i really liked how Avast worked, especially the performance part.
However, I woke up this morning, having a message on my mobile phone from the bank, telling i have done two payments to your company through, both costing a total of 79, 98$ while my laptop was off and I hereby confirm that I never did that payment or had knowledge of it.
I'm convinced that there is a mistake to it, so I kindly request you to review this purchase. I know this is a serious company and I'm sure we will find a solution to this. I haven't used the new licences and I don't want to use them for the time being. I expect a full refund.

My Avast account was auto renewed for $30 more than last year. $49.99 to $79.99 I was told that there was a price increase from last year but I was never notified of that increase. If I was I surely would have to renewed for that price. Especially since on the website the cost for that same product is $20 less than I was charged. I've attached a pic for proof.
I also hate that there is no way to speak to a customer service agent about billing inquiries. When it's my money I'm dealing with I should be able to speak to someone to get my issue resolved immediately instead of waiting days to get an answer from my ticket.

incorrect and double billing
On 7/20/17 you billed my credit card for $64.41 twice. I will not pay those charges. I did not authorize a renewal at that level and certainly not twice. Your automatic renewal cancellation does not work. You repeatedly sent me notices saying that I needed to renew and then renewed twice at some level of cost that I did not request.
This is not the first year that my bill has been wrong. Please cancel both charges and I will remove Avast from my applications.
