took to long for lunch.
took place on November 24 2022 at bloomington store on iaa drive.
it took us a hour plus to get our food. the first time it was brought out it was wrong. the next time it was right but had to make a second trip to get it right.
there were people leaving that had waited to long.
the food was maybe warm but no where hot when we got it.
this was a big down grade from last year.
spent a lot of money to wait for warm food and a hour lost.

We went to Bob Evans on Thanksgiving night for a small dinner. The waitress decided to refill our drinks from a pitcher left on another parties table. We asked her to get a new pitcher and she got an attitude. When we asked the manager if that was common practice he said yes and went on to say that was common practice. So warning to all of you they are leaving tea on the table for people to sneeze in or put things in and then they are serving it to the next table. He was willing and able to argue about it said that he’s had 25 years and food service and that is legal in the state of Ohio. Disgusting!
Desired outcome: For him to learn the real legality of Spreading germs and the nastiness of sharing a picture with another table once they have had that picture over there and it was basically all melted down anyway
Online Order 11-24-22
Need to get a refund for the meal that I purchased but did receive. I placed my order 11-24-22 and was supposed to pick it up at 2:35p. I arrived at 2:35p to pick up my order and was informed if you don’t see it on the countertop it was not ready. I went back to my car. I came back in at 2:50p. I was informed at 3:10p that it would be another 45 minutes minimum. I walked up and wanted to cancel my order. At this point they told me that they could get it together real quick. They came back and said they could not find it. i gave them the email with the id number on it and they still could not find it. They took my information and I left. On 11-25 I called the store to resolve and no one answered the phone at the store and at the corporate office and I have not been able to resolve the matter

Shorted my order with only sides and desert. (((NO main dish))).
I had to drive another 50 miles round trip and spend another 10 in gas, to return and get missing (Main Dish) items.
The manager at: (840 Perry Ave Big Rapids, MI [protected]) was rather distant and put me off to just call back. Manager showed (zero) empathy.
Since this above encounter I checked online and found numerous complaints of orders missing items like mine. There are a lot of online complaints. Bob Evans needs to (LISTEN) to the customers. But they will not do this.
I likely will NOT frequent Bob Evans in the future.
There management and customer support leaves much to be desired and is (1 taco short of a combination plate).
It's their loss, as we eat out frequently. Bye bye Bob Evans. Good luck, you are going to need it.
I should get a refund. I uploaded feedback to their contact email on their website. Will do it again.

On November 21, 2022, I ordered 3 pot roast meals for dinner. Upon getting home, I opened up the containers and the food was all over the place, mixed in together like pig slop. I called store 49, in Sharonville, Ohio to express how displeased I was with the way my food was served. Other establishments use compartmentalized dishes or use small separate containers such as Cracker Barrel. The manager informed me that if I didn’t want my food the way it was received, that I had to ASK for it to be packaged differently. How was I suppose to know what type of containers you have for carry out. The manager Tasha did not seem concerned at all about this so I decided to go above her head for help.Of course I informed her that I would not be patronizing her store again, eating in or getting carry out! I called back and asked for the manager’s name and the stiore number and the corporate number. A man who answered the phone proceeded to sl the phone down in my ear. My fiancé called back and spoke to a young lady who gave us information and the manager came back over the phone.
Desired outcome: I would like to see better containers for carry out and at least a partial if not full refund due to the poor way the food was served, like PIGS SLOP!!! The photo is after I had separated the food!
Items removed from the menu/carpet and bathrooms

Chunks of black dirt and it even smells like dirt when heating. This is the second one. I purchased at Walmart Branan Field Store in Middleburg, Fl The is so much I can’t even pick them out. Very disgusting. I’ve been eating these for months trying to gain some weight and aside from recent packaging issues where the seal is broken and seals not covering the product these are the worst by far. I couldn’t eat either of them. Please fix your product.

Veterans day breakfast not free as advertised
My husband and I arrived to take advantage of the Veterans Day offer of free entre. I showed my DD214 and my husband shoed his military ID. The waitresd said no problem you don't have to show it. She was pleasant and joyful. The breakfast was good. My eggs were more hard than easy, but I thought, it is free so I did not complain. We received a bill, so I thought they need to track their entres they give away. So when we went to present the check we were asked if we ordered from tne veterans menu, which we responded we were not given one. So we had to pay. It was not expensive so it was no problem. The fact that were showed our Veteran status and were not given the veteran menu, which would have been free by your advertisement is rude. It was the only reason we chose Bob Evans. I was quite upset.
Desired outcome: I would either like a refund or a coupon for two free meals to make up for the Veterans day blunder.
Family size macaroni & cheese
We were in a hurry, and purchased prepackaged Bob Evans macaroni and cheese (family size, as I was feeding my grandchildren) as a side dish for dinner.
As per directions, we added a slit in the plastic, etc. Upon peeling back the plastic to stir and continue cooking, there was a black substance in the corner of the container. It appeared to be mold.
I checked both the cardboard sleeve and the plastic film, it was not out of date.
I contacted Bob Evans, via a message on their facebook page, as I preferred not to plaster pictures all over, but no one has responded. Thus, I am here, adding a complaint to the numerous ones on this page.
Desired outcome: I want a refund. The cost is $5.49 plus tax. I also expect reimbursement for the replacement macaroni & cheese of $5.29 plus tax.
No banana bread served with take out orders
On October 30, 2022 I went into Bob Evans at 900 American Road in Lansing, Michigan and ordered 3 Turkey dinners to go. I waited for them to be put together and when I got home, I found that there was no banana bread for any of the orders and also that the cranberry sauce in each order had no cover on it allowing it to spill in the car. I was very upset. I wish in the future that mistakes like these would not happen.
Desired outcome: An apology would be nice and some kind of a refund would be nice also.

I placed an online order to puck up at the new castle ,Pa location... when I got home the order wasn't complete as the chicken was not included with the family size salad I called to speak to a manager but was told I needed to return to the restaurant as he was busy. Bad product
I have been using Bob Evans Sausage for years. I purchased the 30 pattie family pack. The sausage has a very bad taste and is almost all fat and the patties are almost white in color. I use this product all the time my package says best if used by 12-1-22. My grocer said he has had other complaints about this product. The cost was 9.95. I purchased this 0n 10 -22-22 from valeskies market in Meadville Pa.

I too have purchased the Pattie’s in 8 pack n the larger 30 pack TWICE.. SOMETHING HAD CHANGED IN THE TASTE, gross and tasted spoiled so thts twice in the 30 pack and once on the smaller pkg.. no more for me..
however the roll sausage still taste the same.. what are they doing to the Pattie’s? Ewww

I will say this was like a year apart from each purchase of the large box..so can’t be one batch so had to be something BOB is doing in the processing plant ! Or Krogers isn’t putting it away fast enough ?

lack of quality of food, service and management
I'm certain, based on the terrible reviews for this location in Bridgeport, WV, that you are already aware of the total incompetency of the management and staff. My family has been going to this location for over 20 years and in the past few years it has completely changed in terms of service, quality and volume. This location was once packed daily. now you go there and it is nearly empty while it's competitors are booming. I walked in last Tuesday morning at 9:00am. there were only 7 cars in the parking lot. when i walked in, nobody greeted me. there was a cook leaning against the expo line and a young lady that worked there leaning towards him. looked very intimate. he made eye contact with me but neither one of them ever came to help me. nobody else came to the front. i finally walked out. last night i drove by at 7:15pm. there were no outside lights on. it was pitch black all the way around the building. there were a handful of cars in the parking lot. I'm sure you've seen a substantial decline in revenue at this location. it is a shame for our local community which once heavily supported this location
Desired outcome: new management would be a great place to start if you truly wish to keep this location open

My wife and I went in to the south Zanesville Ohio Bob Evans to order breakfast at roughly 10 AM up October 18th 2022 upon arrival after being seated I noticed pieces of food on the window of the decor there is also a large water spill staff kept tiptoeing around when I received my breakfast it was under Done and they were two separate long black hairs on each of the plates. I was hit with such an array of emotions I got up and left the restaurant. The waitress said “ the cook called off today” I don’t think that is acceptable no matter who was cooking I do have pictures of water on the floor and the food particles all over the decor. I had such an array of emotions I just left the restaurant
Desired outcome: I drove a half hour one-way for breakfast and my wife’s seems to me Bob Evans owes me a her a breakfast they also need to require hairnets when cooking food and cleaning
Taking reservation while over 30 people are standing line
We went to Bob Evan on 2400 Tiffin Ave in Findlay Ohio on a Friday morning at 9:55am on Oct 14, 2022. It did look busy but We decide to try. As we entered we met with 4 other people standing out side. A gentlemen told my husband to put your name down. So he came back out and said 10 or 15 minutes. At 10:15 we managed to be able to stand inside when 4 people rushed inside making it even more crowd. As we watched several people go ahead of us that was already there before us. Then one of the person who rushed in went and looked at the list and told the others we are next. I said to my husband How can that be we have been here for over 30 minute now. They must of heard me and One of them screamed at us We called in and been staying in our car. My husband asked the hostess how much longer is it going to be? She said you have 2 more people ahead of you. We looked at each other and said lets go. We will never be back. If you can take reservation for breakfast knowing 30 people are already standing in line then you don't need people to do your business. No one should ever have to wait 45 minute to eat any where at anytime. Especially when your short staff as this place was today. So other people followed us out that also had been waiting for a very long time. As we left we told other people your gonna have a long wait. They too left. To resolve this issue: Don't take reservations especially when your short staffed and it was Breakfast time for goodness sake. Wait staff
Just too , inferiorating! I , heard the life story of two waitresses who work side by side . I , go into BE and am seated with a menu , ... again ... the waitress decides to come to my table after exactly , 12 minutes of waiting there .
and , as I observed she gave a check to a table in back of me and started to leave without acknowledge. I , complained and was told by NYS law that waitress does not have to serve me and I combined and I was asked to leave when , the higher up mngr / me a free meal profusely apologizing.
Desired outcome: Train the sick waitress who is under stress for being the " only waitress " and quite talking to me calling me " hun " and as tho the waitress knows me . Stop identifying with customers and do your job ... I'm there to EAT / GET WAITED ON
Ice cold food over a hour wait
Oct 8 6 pm salem ohio my wife and I were at restraunt waited for over 1 hour for 2 turkey dinners the table next to us also was waiting over 1 hour when we recieved our dinner it was ice cold talked to the manager she said she watched the orders come out of kitchen I told her here feel turkey was not just cold but was ice cold she said she was very busy and was ther anythong else she could do I tolld her she did nothing so far and she walked away I took my and wifes food home and fed to dogs this salem bob evens is the slowest worst food of all your restraunts but we thought we would give one last try we are very disapointed should of at least received something

Service at the Van Wert, OH location
Employee were not at the front desk to help people to seat them. Customers were leaving after waiting over 20 min. This is very poor management. It is not the employees fault. I called in a order and it took over 45 min to have someone bag up my order. I have me receipt stating my times. Seems to me that all the employees were not trained to do their jobs. I have lived down the street from this location at Van Wert, OH for over 22 years and never seen this very poor management ever. Need new management.

Wow, it appears Bob Evans has some of the worst management across the states. How sad and it’s because no complaints from valid employees that are having issues as well are being addressed. This is so very sad. I do hope someday it gets taken care of
