Suave citrus rush, shampoo, conditioner and bodywash
I used Suave, Citrus Rush, Shampoo Conditioner And Body
Wash, and got some in my eyes. As a result it burned like hell, and blurred my vision for three weeks .I visited my family Doctor and Optometrist, only to find my vision had worsened dramatically.I remedied the problem by doing my own investigation for a remedy. The remedy was to wash my eyes with Johnson's Baby Shampoo, deludes with water and rinse a couple times. I contacted the company, and told them what had happened initially, and they offered no remedy to the problem, and also contacted F.D.A. and filled a report. I will never use this product again, and advice everyone to do the same.
I wanted ICE CREAM! not this!
Recently there was a sale on Breyer's ice cream for buy one get one free. Little did I
Know that I was picking up the flavor that was not even real ice cream!
When I opened it, it looked too soft and it was way too easy to scoop out.
It was in the freezer for awhile so it wasn't that it was just melty.
While eating it, I noticed that it is way too soft and melts way too fast!
I felt like I had to eat it quick before it turned to liquid! It also has a weird texture.
And it leaves a bad aftertaste! Why are they making fake ice cream now?
I just wanted some real damn ice cream and this is what I get? I will never buy this
Frozen dairy dessert crap ever again. I hope they realize WE DON'T LIKE IT!
poor quality, bland, not enough strawberries, chocolate was poor quality
I just bought a container of Breyers Banana Split Ice Cream. This was one of the most bland and skimpy ice creams I have ever tried. The ice cream does not taste like ice cream, it tastes like they watered it down and tried to add flavoring to it. I am not sure why they are calling it Banana Split. It was not in the least bit similar to a real banana split. I did not find or taste any banana in it, and the strawberry swirls and chocolate pieces were very very skimpy. I will not purchase any Breyers products after this, Its obvious they are selling a watered down version of something. I am not sure what they are trying to sell, this was a skimpy and bland product. I threw it in the trash...where it belongs.

yes i bought the vanilla, what a mistake it taste like whip cream gum.
why charge so much for this garbage. I bought it at IGA.
will be more careful and stay away from breyers.
The flavor of the "ice cream" is banana. It's not real ice cream though.
She does not know how to read.
&frozen dairy dessert& is awful!
we have always eaten butter pecan and vanilla fudge twirl for at least 30 plus yrs..we just bought both flavors in march of 2012 and noticed a very different taste to both flavors..it was awful.we just could not eat it after many yrs of eating the real ICE CREAM that breyers always bragged about being SO NATURAL!i called the customer service line and gave her my complaint and said we would no longer be buying this product any more..she tried to convince me that they still had at least two flavors that were the real deal and not the FROZEN DAIRY DESSERT" THAT WE HAD BEEN EATING! THIS FROZEN DESSERT HAS WHEY AND TARA GUM IN IT INSTEAD OF CREAM, MILK, SUGAR AND NUTS like the real ice cream used to have ...it is just awful!the texture is slimey and greasy feeling, and does not have the flavor of real ice cream..i feel that if we all don, t complain to breyers, then nothing will be done about it..i posted this also on my facbook page today..hope everyone will "share "my story..maybe breyers will "get the message" that we want our ice cream to be pure and natural like it used to be!sandi rowe umble holden maine

I agree fully. The other day I bought some by accident, thinking it was actual Heavenly Hash ice cream. They use the same packaging and everything, but it's no longer the same product that we all knew. This was the first time I ever threw out 'ice cream' that wasn't freezer burned. Never again Breyer's, never again. I'd take that Chapman's garbage over them any day of the week, at least that's still ICE CREAM.
I just bought Breyers Cherry Vanilla "frozen dairy desert" It is the same packaging as ICE CREAM but it does not use the words ICE CREAM anywhere. I didn't notice it until we started to eat it. The texture is very weird, almost rubbery, foamy and very light. There is no sense of dense ice cream and it is very easy to scoop out. When you look very closely at it you can see millions of tiny air bubbles and that is the reason it is so light and airy. This is not ice cream, it is some kind of new way for the company to make more money with a product of less quality. Its bad enough that they charge so much for ice cream already, but then they went from half gallons to 1.75 qt and now 1.5qt this new formula is the worst thing they have done so far. The fact they charge so much for what is a very cheap and inferior product is insulting to those of us who trusted Breyers for decades.
I can see where this is going, at some point you will be getting nothing but flavored, textured edible foam that looks like ice cream but is just a lie. There really is nothing we can do because it is properly labeled so what my family is doing is we will never buy Breyers again and we will tell all of our friends about this and I am sure they will do the same.
ice cream is bland with bad aftertaste
My wife and I used to enjoy a pint of Breyers Butter Pecan ice cream every few months. It's been about 6 months since our last pint. It used to have a rich, creamy flavor and was full of nuts. However, in our latest pint we both noticed independently that there was no flavor whatsoever, and there were exactly 6 tiny pecan pieces in it. It was bland and left a bad aftertaste. We noticed several new ingredients in it; it was no longer all natural. Either they started manufacturing overseas (China, tastes like), or they just got cheap, or both. We will NOT be buying any more Breyers, ever.
Purchased breyers butter pecan before and enjoyed the flavor. Purhased 1/2 gallon last week and it tasted terrible. No buttery flavor and the pecans tasted burnt or spoiled. Threw it away.
We were noticing a strange taste in the chocolate ice cream, BRAND NEW CARTON, and found knots of long hair throughout the ice cream. We are praying that no one gets sick. Because something is not right! It could be contaminated. God Bless!
breyers used to be the best now they are flat out AWFUL! If it isn't all sandy textured then it has all those nasty guar gum ingrediants like the generic brand. Who ever made the decision to change the recipe should be FIRED! i AM ON THE HUNT FOR SOME ALL NATURAL GREAT TASTING ICE CREAM!
Knorr Soupy Noodles
http://www.caa.gov.lk/web/index.php?option=com_kunena&Itemid=123&func=view&catid=3&id=9&lang=en#9
Recently purchased a Knorr soupy noodles 5 in one pack. Where they said 1 free for 4 packs. Got it from the Laughs Sun Up, Kohuwala (Sri Lanka).
Cooked one and it smelled like kerosine mixed and under assumption it was my fault I opened up another pack. Then I found that pack even before cooking smells the same. Therefore got one pack with a hole to smell and figured its some chemical that is mixed with the packing.
I suspect that these are given off as clearance sales for reduced prices because it is a bad stock?
Anyone who can talk to authorities to stop this kind of productions reaching consumers.

pecan shells in ice cream and broke my tooth!
I purchased, as i always have, butter pecan box of breyers ice ceam from a retailer which i will not name because i love their store. I was a little more than half into the box when i bit down on something very very hard. When i pulled i out of my mouth, it was pecan shells and It Broke My Tooth! I called the company immediately about the incident and filed my consumer complaint. They in turn gave me a reference number to refer back to when in two or three days a representative gave me a return call. They Never Did! I called the company and gave my reference number and guess what? They did not know what i was talking about. The refernce number was not taken in the computer, my name was not taken down, and there was no recoed of me even calling the company! Imagine That! So i had to give the rep. my information all over again and she kept apologizing to me. Well, they sent me out a package to take to my dentist to fill out, sent a package to send in the bos that the prodect came in, x-rays that i had have taken by the dentist, and the portion of the contents that came from my mouth?.(This is what the first reopresentative told me to do in the first place, have x-rays done of my tooth and the estimate of how much the work would cost)|.So now i have the estimate, the x-rays and the pecan shells ready to send in t the company;. So in the meantime they send me what i call a parting gift that says no matter what your dentist says, we are not resposible for your broken tooth'.They send me coupons for more ice cream and other products that the company makes;.Now does anone out ther feel that they are going to fix my tooth? No i do not think so! So my advice to all of you, Never ever file a complaint to a company because they will not own up to their mistakes no matter what it costs the consumer in the end! Yes, their boxes have been ever-shrinking and the prices ever-rising, like we would not even notice, huh!I hope they read the complaints again them beause they ned to hear them". We are the one who are buying this stuff so we have te right to complain about it! If it were not for us, they would not be in business, . I will be back with a later update about this to tell you all if they really refused to have my tooth fixed!
I love breyers and love cookies n cream but I've never gotten a half gallon of cookies n cream "HOLD THE COOKIES"! So sucks!
She can sue Breyer's, if she was to win, (unlikely) they could in turn sue the nut makers. Breyer's has some responsibility for it's products. I would guess that they would just settle for the bill if it even got that far. Which it wouldn't. The tooth could have already been damaged or weak. I broke a tooth on a granola bar and went on with my day. ###, it's in the back anyways. If it had broken my front tooth, things would be different.
pathetic service
below is the mail written again to pure it for their non responsive pather customer support and tech team.
Dear Team, Though at last a i got a call from you guys and also from the service engineer(so called). he visited my home and said everything is good and i am just assuming its not working. i made him taste three water glasses. from from the pure it one from the tap and one from the other filter. there was difference in the taste. also told him earlier water filtering used to take some time, but now the water just comes down from top to bottom in no time. either its an innovation in the filtering process or the battery itself is working. i asked him to open and check it but he didnt and said he cant do that and made me talk to the vendor and he said this guy is new he will send someone else tom. next day i called him asking him when he is going to send the technician . than he talked about replacing something and asked me to come down to his shop around 5-6 km from my home to get it changed. when asked why was it called the customer service if i had to leave office and than get it changed he said he doesnt get paid for this and just doing it for the sake of customer service. i am not sure if he is really interested in customer service at all, and if he is telling the truth than you should give it in writing to all your customers to buy it on their own risk as they might have the throw the pure it after using it for an year.
Please advise whether the new battery which i have gotten changed will be replaced or do i have to run from post to pillar to get the same rectified.

Tasted chalky
Purchased Breyers All Natural Ice Cream in the flavor of Butter Pecan. the ice cream had a different texture and the group decided it ws chalky.
I cannot even remember the flavor, think it was Butter Pecan. If I recall correctly it was the Summer of 2007, I had a hankering for icecream and since Breyer's is a Wisconsin icecream and was suppose to be all natural I thought I would give it a try, I certainly did find the consistency to be chalky. Now that I know as is the case with many factory made or grocery store bakery baked goods many icecreams contain emulsifiers to give the food a more appealing texture. Are emulsifiers good for you health-wise, certainly not, but it may be the reason icecream has a chalky consistency rather than the creamy texture that gives it it's namesake. I am hoping I am wrong about my assumption about icecream and emulsifiers, because if I am not besides the fact the amino acids in dairy phlegm me up the emulsifiers wreak havoc with my GI tract.
Return it to your store of purchase with receipt.
No cookies in the ice cream
I opened the container of Breyers Cookies and Cream Ice Cream and there weren't any cookies in there. There were just miniscule particles of cookie dust.
I'm very disappointed in your product and will never purchase it again.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
To webopolis: Clearly you don't live in a state with a Meijer. Because Meijer brand Cookies and Cream ice cream has HUUUUGE cookie chunks in it. Not just specks.
Um, all cookies and cream ice cream only has crumbs particles in it. That's how it is. You will never find whole cookies in any ice cream. Please tell me this was a joke complaint, and, if it was, don't do it again.
Foreign Particles Found/Consumer Safety & Service Issues
On August 12, 2010, my husband and I shared a Bertolli Shrimp Penne & Asparagus meal. At one point I bit down on something hard that broke into smaller particles. My husband asked why I was grimacing and pulling stuff from my mouth. When I explained there was some sort of very hard, black stuff in my portion, he mentioned he had noticed something gritty that he swallowed, presuming it was sand from the shrimp.
I called the contact number on the package that evening. The after-hours message gave a number to call for product emergencies, and I did so. I gave my information to a male rep and was assured I would be contacted first thing the next morning. I waited until after 10:00 a.m. EDT on the 13th for a call back. Finally, I called the New Jersey non-emergency consumer number, explained that someone should have called us by now and was only told a "Gina Papale" had been assigned as our Consumer Services Specialist, but she wasn't into work yet. When she called and we began speaking, I noted the lack of urgency and concern in her voice. This was irritating, and I told her so. I didn't understand why she wasn't immediately setting it up to collect our particles for analysis (only 1/2 of the total I collected so we would have a backup for analysis in case what was sent was mysteriously lost).
Ms. Papale called back later in the day to tell me a courier would be picking up our foreign matter the next morning. I reminded her we needed a dentist visit form since I reported to her I was having gum and tooth pain. The courier indeed came the next day for the black grit, but did not give me any dental visit form. In fact, despite a reminder call to Ms. Papale on August 17th that we had received nothing whatsoever from her offices, we did not get the dental form needed for me to set up an appointment until August 24, 2010. In her cover letter, curiously back-dated as August 13th but not mailed before August 20th, we also received some coupons. The previous week we received a Unilever gift box by FedEx with no letter or form.
Would we have preferred to get the dental form on the 14th instead of the courier pickup, and also instead of the gift box on the 19th or 20th? Absolutely. Especially since when I immediately called our dentist on the 24th to set up an appointment and gave the assistant details as to why, she noted that it was so far after the incident, it might be difficult to determine what the form required of the exam. Also, I told her the form required dental x-rays from before the black grit, and she confirmed what I suspected: I had only bite-wing pictures on file, which would not show the area in question.
When I heard nothing further on the analysis results of particles sent, I called Ms. Papale and left a voice message on the early afternoon of August 31st, I received no return call. I called the general consumer help number again to inquire if she was out-of-office and was assured she was not. This rep also promised to leave an additional voice message for Gina to call me. However, she never did and still never has. On September 1st I began trying to get to her supervisor and/or a Consumer Services Manager. I was successfully thwarted in multiple attempts both by phone and by e-mail to speak with anyone about Gina's terrible consumer service, my dental situation, and the results of the lab analysis. That same afternoon of 9/1 at 3:00 p.m., we received a FedEx delivery. This included a letter from Ms. Papale dated August 31st (so why didn't she call me?) and a container returning (supposedly) the particles we'd given to the courier on the 14th.
Disregarding her embarrassing grammar and punctuation, Ms. Papale's letter contained nonsense logic and is purely a non-responsive answer to our three weeks of waiting on tenterhooks to know what we ingested the night of August 12th. Here is a quoted section from that final letter:
"There is nothing associated with the Bertolli Shrimp Penne and Asparagus which resembles this material therefore, we are unable to determine how this became associated with your meal."
What?! If we had thought the hard, black grit was a normal part of the meal, why then would we be calling and asking for analysis and a quality control investigation? Her statement defies all logic and consumer safety common sense, and the analysis was done so poorly it could only be concluded to be, quote, "burnt material whose structure seems to be similar to caramelized food material." Unilever's conclusion -- per Gina Papale -- to ultimately ignore the seriousness of foreign material in its products is frightening and actionable.
Doing Unilever's job for them, here is the Bertolli package information so consumers can avoid ingesting these products:

Until we get a resolution and sincere company apology, we will be boycotting Unilever food products and recommend readers do so as well.
What I found wasn't that large, but I actually bit into and what I spit out was broken into smaller bits. Don't expect Unilever to do the right thing by you They claimed it was analyzed and deemed "organic carbon material" or something like that. I surely don't know why that descriptor made it OK to find foreign material hard enough to cause a significant dental issue and bill. Unilever deserves its own "organic carbon material" -- meaning a lump of coal -- in its Christmas stocking every year!
i just found the same particle in my shrimp/asparagus bertolli meal... it is very hard, black and about the size of a pebble.

Incomplete Ice Creme Sandwiches
I bought Breyers ice creme sandwiches box. Out side of the box clearly written 5 ice creme cookie sandwiches. I openes the box and found only 3 inside. I told my wife to return the box but she said the shop might not believe her. I always believe AMERICAn business runs on trust and faith but seems like some company did cheat. UPC - [protected]

This happened on April 22, 2016 - I found a plasitc like substance in the middle of the container. I am so glad I look at everything before I eat it. It looks so gross and I will never buy this product again
Glass in ice cream
I found 3 large chunks of glass in Bryers Neopolitan ice cream. I called the product safety phone number and was told it was probably just an isolated incident but they would forward my information to customer service, who would call me back the next day. No one called from Bryers, so I called the grocery store where I bought the ice cream, just to give them a "heads up", hopefully making sure no one else bought the same type of ice cream. I was told they can't do anything because it's Bryers problem not theirs.
So, I called Bryers back, and the customer service rep acted very concerned, took all the necessary information, and said they will be sending a call tag for the ice cream box and glass pieces. I never received any call tag, nor did they ever get back to me. I then called the FDA to lodge a complaint, and they said it was unlikely they would launch an inspection since no one was hurt by the glass, but they might bring it up in the next scheduled inspection.
I gave up...I took the ice cream, along with the glass pieces, back to the grocery store. The lady at the store who gave me my money back was horrified and just shook her head, saying "no one cares anymore". How apt...that says it all.
Oh, horrors, I forgot the "e". This isn't a spelling contest, it's a complaint site...get a life.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to spell the name of the company you're complaining about correctly? Or is this another ice cream company that I have not heard of that spells their name very similarly to a well known ice cream company that I do know of?
Nightmare service
Ordering products from UNILEVER is a NIGHTMARE.
They do not sell unsweetened decaf iced tea mix (url 418850) online nor can the nice people at the warehouse 630.343.0240 sell us that tea. So I must call the number on the package 888.547.8668.
In making five tries, after being cut off four times, I finally contacted with Cathleen - who put me into the system and then forwarded me to ext. 3513 so they could take my credit card info. Only I was disconnected again.
Cannot someone place and ORDER BY MAIL link on the on-line ordering website I'm waiting for a call back on my 2 case phone order, or a order by mail form or a HUMAN to talk with.

Scam and cheating
I just wanted to add to the comments about how Breyer's ice cream made their container's smaller, but charge the same price. I was fairly upset when I discovered this because they know that people will have to buy their product anyway if they want the "all natural" ice cream at a decent price. The Walmart here does not sell Gifford's or other natural ice creams. Blue Bunny ice cream just can't compare, at least not with my family and friends.
Someone had a comment about "getting off our fat a$$es" and not eating so much ice cream. My family is very health conscious and of slender shape. Buying Breyer's had more to do with not having so many preservatives and artificial flavors. It's just a shame. I'm really going to try and make an effort to buy Gifford's at the local grocery store and not buy Breyer's at Walmart.

I pay £5 for a tub of Breyers ice cream. I bought it because it boasted of containing 290 calories, it also only contains half a tub of ice cream. Possibly the most expensive ice cream I've had.
I purchased 3 tins of Axe Spray from my local Shoprite and within a month 2 tins were empty although they had never been used. I sent an email to Unilever asking if they had any issues regarding leaking tins and I heard nothing. I emailed them a second time and they knew nothing about the first email so i sent another one and all they say is they will get back to me. Well 3 weeks has turned to 3 months. So much for Customer relations.
Excellent complaint. I agree 100%! For years I have refrained from buying Breyers because the package kept shrinking as the price continued to rise. Last night I had a coupon and it was on sale at Kroger, so I treated myself. OMG! What have they done to the formula? It used to be sugar, milk and cream. It now contains all the guar gum, high fructose corn syrup and the other garbage that ther cheap brands have and the texture is SLIMEY. Now I notice that it is no longer ice cream, it is "Frozen Dairy Dessert". Striking get another major brand off my list. First they rip us off by reducing the size, now it is just a bunch of chemicals and preservatives.
Terrible experience
Breyers Ice Cream executives can't add because 1.5L is not 1/2 gallon... 1.89L is 1/2 gallon. So they are screwing the consumer out of honest value for the money, just like the oil companies! I won't buy this product if they give it to me free of charge... they lost a good customer... they can stick this on their profit margins... ###s!... and its only ice cream! You simply can't expect that no one will notice and that your competitors are not going to make a better product and hold the line on pricing!

April 9, 2024 I purchased Breyer vanilla ice cream. Took it home with the intention of enjoying it as much as I purchase it. Opened it only to find like a yellow covering over the ice cream itself. See for yourself in the photos below. You tell me what you can do for me. Not a happy camper.

We bought the ice cream at Walmart yesterday, 10/18/23 believing the ice cream was lactose free, but it in fact was not. My son had gotten sick by throwing up and it coming out the other end. The carton reads lactose free, made with real meal and cream? I do have the carton and a receipt.

This container is not mint flavored and has no chocolate chips
I always loved Breyers and my favorite was always Butter Pecan. I recently purchased this for the first time in a long time and it was such a huge disappointment. It was horrible. I will never purchase any Breyers flavor ever again
I purchased the carton December 3rd.
The pecans had a strange burnt bitter taste
Taste bad vanilla. Burnt taste. I bought at Shop-rite grocery store in Norristown PA. Carton appears to read March 07 24.I bought it October 12,2022
Look what I found in my ice cream wtf!?!?!?
In Scottsdale Arizona 9/21/2022 from Wal Mart.
I bought a 1.5 quart of mint chocolate chip ice cream on 7/25/22 at Winn-Dixie in Perry FL.
When I opened it it was about 1/4 full. I took some pictures of the code on the side, wondering if anyone else complained about this batch. I would love to have my money back but lost my receipt on the way home . Thanks for listening.
I buy this brand all the time. I purchased a half of gallon today from Walmart and it had very very little cookies . Your ice cream is expensive so I would like what I pay for. Thank you
Bought 5 little pints of Oreo ice cream and there is no Oreos in any of them ... Im very disappointed
