premium membership
After reading up many reviews on google and trust pilot, I have quickly realized that this website is not genuine and you do not get what you pay for.
I joined a Trial membership of £9.90 and after realizing that it is not a genuine site, I wish to cancel subscription and de-activate the account.
In the settings section - under cancel membership it states the following:
"Your account setting will be visible in a few days, once the payment has been processed. In the meantime, please enjoy all your benefits as a Premium Member and check back later."
This message has been visible for 5 days now!
I just would like to end / cancel this once and for all!
Desired outcome: Cancel Membership and no further fees paid.
C-date
I have never signed up to this and have requested multiple times to get this cancelled, yet money still gets taken from my account! The most recent payment needs refunding at the very least if not previous payments too! This is disgusting. I have contact via the email address provided 3-4 times now. This money must be refunded immediately and the payment cancelled otherwise I will be taking legal action
Desired outcome: Refund and cancellation

can you please help me resolve this
I been scammed and harassed and threatened
I open free membership than I tried to close my account. They request post letter/fax . I got no access to fax services because I haven't got one and we are in lockdown there's a pandemic going on. I send them emails saying I DON'T WANT THEIR SERVICES and in response they claim I owe them money and they threaten me with debt collectors. I have already contacted people I know in France and Luxembourg to find out more about management of this scam: home adress belong to them and WE WILL get them from doorstep if the authorities and customer protection authority won't shut them down. We are on the middle of pandemic and they depress and threatening innocent people!
Withdrawal of subscription
I'm sure you've heard this a thousand times. I want to withdraw my subscription to C date but of course they won't respond as they want to wait longer till I'm charged. I have sent them this withdrawal form already. I have temporarily cancelled my card so they won't charge me. Would be very useful if you could help me cancel my subscription with them and stop them from charging me.
Desired outcome: Cancel my subscription. No further payments.
Cancellation of subscription
I joined C-date, a German based Dating company run by Interdatesa.com on 26.11.20 and paid with PayPal. My intention was to only join for a month. I paid £9.90 for the first month and soon realised that it was rubbish, full of fake profiles. I also checked the reviews on Trustpilot and I have seen many people who have had problems with this company so on 26.12.20 I stopped the recurring payments on PayPal and sent them an email confirming I had stopped payment and wished to have my profile deleted. Apparently you can only cancel your membership via fax, which I think is totally unreasonable. They are now sending me threatening emails from a collection agency because I have not allowed them to take £39.90 for the second month. I have now blocked their emails and I am ignoring them. Can they do this and if they can, what action should I take?
Desired outcome: They stop sending these emails.
Unable to cancel or made extremely hard
Being sent threatening emails about a membership fee that hasn't been paid. This is due to me not actually being able to cancel my membership. I'd realised after 5 mins that this site is a fake dating site with fake profiles and there is no simple way of cancelling. I've had to delete as much personal data I could off of my profile and cancelled any payments coming out with my bank. I'm no receiving threatening emails that debt will be passed onto debt collection agencies.
Desired outcome: Membership cancelled and the company to provide a simple cancellation process
I would like to cancel my premium membership
I opened the site a while ago and I was told to pay 2 pounds which was not a lot of money at first but recently my card made a payment to the C date website which I did not authorize and now they have taken my money without my permission and I want to cancel my subscription as soon as possible. I am Lenny from Coventry and I have read that you can help so please help me out
Desired outcome: to cancel my premium subscription from the website.
Cancellation Process
I want to cancel my C - Date subscription. I don't want to go down the postal route but the Fax number seems to not work. if you see the attached photo you can see they sent over a cancellation form for me to sign and date. it's still dated from the date provided as it's took me that long to sort it and next payment is quickly approaching. if you can find some way of sending it over to start the process that would be great. you guys may have sort of experience sorting out these crooks. hope to hear from you as they make the process so hard to cancel
Desired outcome: just want it to be finally cancelled
Wrongly charged
I've been charged for a renewal in which was cancelled. My bank has already cancelled a payment to them. Now they've sent me a letter demanding more money
C date passing on to collection agency
This company are truly awful. It's in online service and you simply cannot cancel. They make it so difficult and for this very reason. If you are offering an online service then under law you should be able to cancel the service. Apparently somewhere unknown is a PDF form you must fax. This is ridiculous. They then have passed on my details to a collection agency - CMS for global collection services asking for 186 EUR.
Also saying they are going to pass my details on to CMS group which is agains GDPR.
Sham company that are passing debt to another sham company.
They need to be shut down immediately.
did you pay them at the end and did they finally leave you alone?
I am in the same position, I received a letter from cms global collection demanding 329 euro or they will take further action. It is causing me intense stress,
I need help, but have no idea what to do or who can help me. Jryanscanlon@gmail.com
C date should be stopped . Please help me. James.
did you guys pay them

Hi
Please can you block this website as they are fraud. They are fake website and taking money from people account
Premium membership
I signed up for this site for 1 months membership at the price of £9.90 on 1/11/20 using paypal. It didn't take too long however for me to realise that pretty much everything is fake and i believe the entire site is a scam! I looked to see how i could cancel my membership and discovered i had to FAX them! Why can't there just be a cancel button like all reputable sites? After reading endless horror stories on trustpilot i put a stop to the automatic monthly payments which i discovered had been set up on my paypal account and thought my membership may just expire at the end of the month. Since December i've had 3 emails stating that if i don't pay up for another months membership i will have debt collectors calling after they obtain my postal address from my ip address. I have emailed C-date stating that i wish my membership to be cancelled but this request has been ignored. I fully intend to notify UK FRAUD office and urge others not to sign up for this huge scam. I am keeping all emails from C-date and intend to pass them on as evidence to the relevant authorities!
C-date
I've told them to cancell my subscription and I've been charged £40!
Entire app - "dating service"
Having got frustrated with the amount of sugar babies and fake profiles on Bumble Dating App, I googled most successful dating apps. A top 5 appeared. Among them was C-Date. Accordingly, I registered for the app and completed a profile. To enable me to do anything with the app, I had to provide my credit card details to activate premium membership. I did so on the basis that there is a 14-day cooling off period. Always somewhat suspicious, I set a reminder in my phone organiser to cancel in the event the service was not as advertised. After only a few days, I realised that the App was full of escorts and alike. I in fact received a message from one member saying something along the lines of 'I bet you would like to meet, but this pussy doesn't come for free you know'. I immediately reported the profile, along with 4/5 others who were soliciting for adult services and/or what appeared to be phishing. The profiles remained on the site. I then sought to cancel my membership well within the stipulated period, and delete my card details held by C-Date. To cancel, I was required to send a FAX, yes fax, to a Luxembourg number. Given we are in a pandemic, and I haven't seen a fax machine since the mid-90's, this was an impossible task. Further, the fax would require me to include personal data, and having read complaints from other users, this approach does not work. The App also provides that subscriptions should be cancelled via GooglePlay. I did not subscribe through GooglePlay. Unable to cancel my membership, I sought to delete my profile whilst finding a resolution. The App provided that I could not delete the profile without cancelling my membership. I subsequently tried to delete my card details from the App. There is no facility to either view or delete them. In a catch 22, and realising this site is clearly a scam, I phoned my credit card company on 12/11/2020 to report the issue. They suggested reporting as fraud. As such, they credited the 9.99 fee, cancelled my card and issued another. Since foolishly joining the app, the amount of attempted fraud emails, etc has increased tenfold. As such, I strongly suspect C-Date is using my personal data, or providing it to a 3rd party. Since I cancelled my credit card used to register, I have received two final demand emails for the 9.99 amount. The emails are only 1 week apart, which is suspicious in itself, and clearly a bullying tactic. The mail goes on to say that a collections agency have been instructed and credit agencies contacted. I was minded to just pay the 9.99 and send a cancellation. However, I am obviously extremely reluctant to allow them to see my new credit card details. I am very paranoid about my date now. I actually went back into the app, deleted all photos and changed details such as my DoB.
I sought advice this morning from the ICO (Information Commissioner's Office) and spoke to a gentlemen by the name of John Turner. He kindly advised me that I should report the issue via Action Fraud UK for Fraud and Identity Theft. I have done this. The Crime Reference Number is NFCR201204073522. John Turner then suggested using the crime reference number to contact C-Date, whilst quoting GDPR so as to ensure that my profile and personal details are deleted entirely. This would be a kind of ‘cease and desist' communication, quoting rectification in terms of my profile and personal data held. He then informed me that C-Date would have a statutory period of 1 month to reply, and in the event they don't, I should get back in-touch with him.
Curious, I looked-up C-Date on TrustPilot, where I found numerous people had suffered the same issues as I have. This will no doubt provide further valuable context to assist with any inquiries.
I contacted the collections agency via email, who I strongly suspect to be the company itself, because in stating that they would continue to pursue the payment in lieu of proof that my membership had been cancelled (an impossibility!), they went on to say that my personal data had been deleted, but my payment details would be retained for 10 years for tax purposes. This doesn't sound right to me. Given the "collections agency" are perhaps naturally not concerned with my crime report or complaint, I sought an additional contact. The C-Date site has a contact for disputes at a service@lisa18.com. This is clearly a personal address, which is another concern of mine. I subsequently received an email from a Jennifer Wilson, "C-Date Customer Service Representative, repeating what the collections agency had said about my data. The email confusingly says, please do not replay to this address, and then at the foot of the email, provides the same address as a contact.
I have several concerns here. First and foremost, I am seeking to get on the property ladder this year, and am terrified that my credit rating could be affected. I appreciate, particularly in the current climate, that investigations take time, and Action Fraud provide a 28-day response time. Given that the "collections agency / department" are sending demands 7-days apart, 28-days will be far too long, and my credit rating will be affected if some sort of action, or cease and desist is not issued against C-Date. The App creators are clearly aware of this, and include it in their tactics. As such, I am desperate for help/assistance. I have been forced to apply for a credit report, which affects your credit rating, and my concerns have also meant that I have had to subscribe to this service on an ongoing basis, so as to receive immediate notification if anyone attempts to file a negative report and/or use my data to take out credit of sorts.
I am unable to attached files. Only photographs. As such, I have the following which I would like to provide to assist:
1. Email Correspondence - This is the full trail as described above.
2. Action Fraud - Confirmation of Report Submission.
I would be grateful if you could contact me A.S.A.P. . Further, providing me with an email address to which I can direct the documentation listed above.
C date cancellation
No way of cancelling your subscription within the site and they do not let you know it's a recurring monthly charge. Complete fraud and rip off

Membership termination and refund
Dear Sirs,
I subscribed today, December the 12th to a trial period for C-Date as it was advertised as a legit and successful dating site. I was charged 59€. Upon accessing the platform, I received several fake approaches. I sought to cancel my membership following Section 6. (2) of their terms and conditions where it is clearly stated that fee-based members can cancel their subscription with a refund if the withdrawal of contract email is sent within 14 days. I have followed up their instructions the same day of with no answer so far. I have read that this is a scam.
Could you help me sorting this issue out to terminate my account and get a refund?
Thanks in advance,
Carlos Picabea
