Catherines Mixed Experience at Catherine's: Great Clothes, Poor Customer Service and Discrimination

I recently visited the Catherine's store in Westminster, CO to purchase some new clothes. I was impressed with the selection of pants and dress tops, and the manager at the store was very helpful and friendly. However, my second visit to the same store was a completely different experience. I came in wearing a mask, as required, and was immediately told to back up by the cashier, Miranda. She spoke to me in an ugly tone and treated me like a sick person, even though I was perfectly healthy and following all the safety guidelines. I backed up as she asked, but then she made me wait for several minutes without telling me how long it would be. When I asked her, she responded rudely and yelled at me to back up again, even though there was no one in front of me. I felt appalled and scared of her behavior.

I left the store angry and went to the Lakewood, CO store instead. There, I bought several pairs of pants and told them what happened at the Westminster store. The lady there called over to the other store to get Miranda's name and told her that I was going to report her to corporate. I didn't do anything wrong, but Miranda refused to wait on me and threatened to call the police on me if I spoke up again. I felt targeted and discriminated against for no reason.

I also wanted to buy an extra pair of pants at the Lakewood store, but the cashier closed the register without warning and didn't ask me if I wanted to buy anything else. I was disappointed with the lack of selection online and the poor customer service at both stores.

It's a shame that the Aurora, CO store closed down, and now I don't have a Catherine's store to shop at anymore. I would like to get in touch with a district manager to report this harassment and discrimination. I don't feel safe shopping at these stores anymore, and I don't appreciate being treated like a criminal or a sick person. Catherine's should not allow this kind of behavior from their employees, and it's driving away business.

Overall, I had a mixed experience with Catherine's. While I loved their clothes and the selection at the Westminster and Lakewood stores, the poor customer service and discrimination I experienced left a bad taste in my mouth. I hope that Catherine's takes this feedback seriously and works to improve their customer service and employee training.

Catherines customer service

you are not able to speak to anyone in USA. I have spent an hour being passed around the Phillipines...
They are clueless and rude. Do NOT spend your money with Catherines!

Unacceptable customer service - - Placed an order, said it was delivered... it was not delivered. 2 hours later...still zero help and nothing but a ridiculous run around. No supervisors available. No person in America to talk with.

Desired outcome: someone that cares to assist me

Catherines Olive straight leg jean

I ordered these pants on 11/1/2021. I have not gotten this pants as of today 12/3/2021. I was told by Lynn a customer service rep that my pants were shipped out on 11/8/2021 and I should wait at this point. I am going to return the pants when they come. I have ordered the similar pants in a different color and they are cut to small. I am so tired of this long process and money being tied up in the lengthy process. I am official done with Catherine's and any afflicted stores.

Desired outcome: I would like my money back for the pants immediately.

Catherines most all their products

I am sick to death about all the cheap cloths and other stuff that they sell at high prices. Their stuff just gets cheaper and cheaper made and the material they use is really thin jersey stuff. One company sent them size 3 (26 to 28) but instead of size 3 it came as size 3 (26) and size 3 (28) and no one at Catherines noticed and this has happened for 2 years now! I have tried complaining to Catherines but they just disregard my complaint.

Catherines customer service

I went in with my boyfriend for our 1 year anniversary to look at clothing. As soon as we walk in we get greeted by an older lady, all seems alright. The only lady at the store that was there at the time asked me if I was buying something for someone else and I told her that I am just looking. I AM PLUS SIZE, it is very difficult to find jeans that fit in clothing stores with common sizes. She looks at me up and down and tells me to leave because "I am too skinny." I ask her again in disbelief and she tells me to go to Lane Bryant. She was very rude and unprofessional. I went to the store around 3:30-4:30pm on January 20, 2018.

Catherines Unable to make purchase because I was using cash. The jeans and top new rr

Tried to make purchase of sale items(ankle jeans and bandana shirt) with 30% off, cashier had rung up at 54.43$- BUT, then since I was paying cash(2-$50's), she told me she couldn't complete transaction because it had been a slow day and there wasn't enough money to make change. I was on my way to a conference and asked if I could pick them up Monday. She gave me a slip of paper to put my name and ph. # on. When I came back Monday- first I was told they had returned to sock as could hold for 24 hours only, but this had not been communicated to me before. So I was able to find the two pieces again and then when the cashier rang it up, it was65$ etc and I was no longer getting the same 30% that I had come in to get, but couldn't complete transaction because they Didnt have money to give change. I feel I have been prejudiced against because I would not agree to use a credit card as I am Cash customer only. I waisted 1 1/2 hours and gas to return to the store to get the clothes I wanted the Friday before, -again on Monday only to be refused the sale I had tried to pay for previously but couldn't due to stores. Lack on change. I was embarrassed by employees because I was heartbroken not to get the clothes except to have to pay more .

Catherines Bad site

Purchased a top from this website Catherines and the one I received was way too small, so I contacted Catherines customer care service and asked for a replacement. They agreed and gave me a return address. Few weeks later they contacted me and said that they did not have my size in stock and offered me a refund. Since there was no other option I agreed. They said they need approximately 5 days to transfer the money. 5 days passed and there was no sign of my money, so I contacted them and they claimed that they did refund me and said that I need to be more patient. I never received a refund and no matter how hard I've tried they gave me nothing but empty promises.
