Chacon Autos all lies

Not happy i fill out the app 10 mins i get a email and call that im approved i only can get a car in san antonio only so i drive to se miltary dr to the lot i get the salemen jeff tells my dont waste my time if i dont have $4000 dn on any car ... Its all a lie when i fill out online amanda call me tell me that i could get into a 2017 blue camaro thats not what i wanted i have a family need a 4dr car...When i left i was mad i called her to let her know what happen she didnt remember me but u call me 10 times to let me know everything is good, , , , , , she amanda told me that a manger will call me to address this been a week no calls, , , , ,

Chacon Autos Shady tactics

First I would like to state that I originally had a positive relationship with Chacon Autos and understood the underlying principals of the company in order to help second chance financers maintain a car. My account representative Christine in Dallas, Texas was very helpful and understanding. I obtained my car with Chacon Autos in June 2010. I was doing ok with payments, a couple of times I was late and had to pay a double payment which I did pay when I said I would. I was able to keep full coverage insurance for the most part sometimes it would lapse and I would restart the policy but everything worked out.
Just recently around the 1st of April 2011 my car was repoed because of no insurance. While I understand the losses the company would face if I was in a car accident so this is not my complaint. Here is the situation that occurred that leads me to believe that this is a crooked company. I was notified by my account manager that because I had no insurance that the company was looking at repossession of my car. I was going through a hard situation where the majority of my money went on providing a place to stay for me and my son and I explained this situation. I also included the fact that I had gotten liability insurance because I was running low on funds for the month. Since I was running late on my payment and I did not have full coverage insurance my account representative said we can work with you on a late payment but you have to get full coverage insurance or they will repo your car. I then asked about the deferred loan that was supposed to be available to help you maintain insurance and she did not know what I was talking about. This information was told to me at the signing of the contract sale of the car and it was also a deciding factor when I purchased the car.
After hearing this I agreed to get full coverage insurance the next day. I called the insurance department in Dallas about which deductible I needed while I was in the Insurance office and the lady on the other line in the insurance department kept asking my insurance representative where they were located and hassling her about standard or limited full coverage which they have never done before. Then I went to go get paper work out of my car and my car was gone when Chacon Autos knew I was at the insurance agency getting insurance. This is so unethical because when you know someone is taking care of the situation you told them to do in order to rectify the problem normal business ethics would allow for this transaction to take place and then if it is not taken care of, then complete whatever adverse action is needed to at that time.
Even though my business with this company is over I want others to know how shady Chacon Autos is and how ruthless their tactics are when they claim to be a help to people in need of a second chance.

Sorry dude, but sounds like it was a situation where you are better off without the car. Plus by your own telling of the story it sounds as though they gave you alot more then just a second chance, and it became a hassle for them to keep you as a 'customer' and them at a constant state of loss. Sorry about your luck, but they did no wrong, they simple gave you several chances, and when they realized it wasn't getting better, they had to cut their losses.

Chacon Autos Terrible experience

On May 19th, 2007 I bought a 2005 Suzuki Verona from the Belknap location. I was told I could set it up where I could pay on the 1st or 3rd since that when I receive my income. I was also told my first payment would be in a month. Thinking my payment would fall on the 1st, I was called and told I had missed my first payment. I made arrangements with the first credit manager, COCO in the N.W. hwy office, who told me she would note my account to be payed on the 1st no later than the 3rd of every month. In fact that when I've been paying for the last three or four months. I once was contacted by another credit manager, whom at this time name i can't remember. Lastly for the last three months i have been staying in touch with a manger, Robert. Whom i drove to Dallas to make a payment and payment arrangements. I spoke to a young lady on thursday or friday whom i told to expect my payment on the 1st. I also have been paying $400.00 a month for the last three or four month to make up for the difference in the 11 or 12 days. I got up yesterday only to fine out they had repo.my car. One more thing, just a couple of weeks ago i had spoke to Robert about the change in my due date, he told me he could not change it until May, after have had my car a year.

James was super good he told me I was approved over the phone and when I arrived he made sure I drove off with a new car my experience was very good his a great sales man very happy go see him off 1960

Monday Sept 18, 2023 @ 9:15pm Repoed our car today even though we are just 6 days late and talked to the agent and was told it was fine, mind you just paid $1000

Chacon Sucks. If youre desperate to buy a car and u have HORRIBLE credit with no co-x, buy from them. Otherwise save at least 4k down and go with a reputable company like Toyota of Lewisville. They report to the credit bureaus and if you're in a car, they won't take you out. And for the record, if you have shaky credit(like I do), wait until the financing goes through before you drive a vehicle off the lot. save yourself the trouble

YES I DO FEEL WHERE YOUR COMING FROM BECAUSE I TO HAVE BOUGHT CARS FROM TOTE THE NOTE LOTS! MATTER OF FACT IM DEALING WITH ONE RIGHT NOW.. BUT HAVE HAD NO PROBLEM WITH THEM.. THERE HAVE BEEN A FEW IN THE PAST THAT HAVE HAD ME READY TO JUST DRIVE THERE ###ING CAR RIGHT THREW THERE DAM BUILDING AN SCREAM YOU CAN HAVE THIS PEICE OF ### BACK! BUT ITS REALLY JUST THE LUCK OF THE DRAW.. FOR EVERY CARLOT THAT YOU HAVE A GOOD EXPERIANCE WITH THERE WILL BE TEN PEOPLE WHOM HATE THEM.. LUCK OF THE DRAW REALLY.. JUST HOPE YOUR ONE OF THE LUCKY ONES...

If chacon is such a great company then why don't they report to the credit bureau? I have had a vehicle 2 years now and just found out that it is not even listed on my credit report so I have a car but I don't. Please check yourself if you have a car from this company. And yes they do make money off of repos when they are not deemed necessary

I have bought 2 cars from Chacon and will most probably buy a 3rd! I have had nothing but great experiences with them. If you pay your payments on time, as I do, then you have no problems! Pretty simple! And no I do not work for them.

OK...The last 2 comments on this page had to have been made by employees of Chacon! If you have bought a car from them you know they are lying cheating people who are only out for your money! Lets be real they are JERKS.I have had a car through Chacon for the last 2 years and it has been nothing but trouble. All kinds of trouble from the car not working to payment trouble. I had hail damage and filed an insurance claim (had nothing to do with them) and yet they still hasseled me. It was like they wanted the insurance money. I would rather WALK then buy another car from Chacon! Honestly I am probley going to take mine back to them just to not have to deal with them anymore. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM! If you have any kind of a brain go somewhere else PLEASE!

Chacon Autos has helped a lot of people get into vehicles when other dealers wouldn't accept them. It is a good, reputable company and people need to stop making excuses for themselves and except the fact that they neglected their financial responsibilities.
