Fools OIL
I would like to bring the public’s attention of Chevron Lubricants oil that is made out of Richmond Ca, and other plants across the US and overseas and how consumers are cheated in the oil that they market. Supreme, Havoline, RacePro, Calco, and Oriley’s motor oil are all the same oil. The name on the Certificate of Analysis is changed but it is all the same oil. It comes from the same tank of a particular grade and when a customer orders a particular brand they change the brand name with the same oil. Pay more or less depending on the name. They call it rebranding more like you got fooled. They also recycle flush oil to be remade into product again and they do this with most of their oil including DELO and most of the turbines oil. They have been getting away with fooling consumers and rigging the system for a long time now and I think it's time they became transparent so people know what they are buying versus what is being advertised. The management working in the research lab would joke and laugh about it saying it’s pigsy dust as long as the public is not informed. How many years have they gotten away with this? A lot. Maybe it’s Chevron that’s why the government doesn’t care? But when one is advertised different when it’s actually the same, what happened to marketing laws? They put a tracer on the Havoline product so they know to charge more for that particular brand name. They put 0.003 percent magnesium as a tracer and say that it has added detergent when in fact 0.003 percent does nothing it’s basically nil, it does nothing for the engine. Also the Techron that they claim to enhance their fuel is basically just a cleaning additive which has an EXXON product as a component. Any other company would get sued, Chevron gets away with it. RacePro is the least expensive of the same oil to most expensive Supreme and Havoline.
defective product
On 9/21/17 I purchased gas from a chevron station located on 11195 SW 216th street. I traveled an estimated 2.5 miles and my car would no longer accelerate. The next morning (9/22/17) I had to call out of work so that I can have the car towed to the dealership. Due to us being impacted by Hurricane Irma the dealership advised that they would not by be able to look at my car until Monday at the latest Wednesday of the following week.
For the next 24 hours I used Uber and my mom advised that she would give me cash for a rental for me so that I would have a way to work. Monday (9/25/17) I was contacted by the dealership who advised that after a diagnostic was performed it was determined that I had purchased bad/contaminated fuel. I then had my vehicle towed to my mechanic for repair in which he also performed a diagnostic and it was determined that the fuel purchased was contaminated with more water than fuel. I contacted chevron's corporate office spoke with Valerie Clutario who started a claim (#[protected]) and sent me an email with a form to fill out. The form was fill out, faxed as well as emailed back with all supporting documentation with reference to the claim requesting a full refund for all charges that I incurred due to this incident.
I received an email from Valerie Clutario 10/2/17 stating that my claim would be closed because the owner of the gas station reported that he reached out to me which was a lie. I then contacted chevron, spoke with Valerie who advised that all they could do is report that the owner had not reached out and wait for a response. She also stated that I should contact the owner to try to settle this in a friendly manner. I requested a supervisor, but the only thing I was given was her name Molly Dodson.
In order for me to pay for all of the additional inconvenient charges caused I had to use my relief money given to me from FEMA which I needed for rental assistance and groceries.
I am requesting a full refund for all charges which I provided an itemized list:
1. Fuel $50.65
2. Uber charges (9/22-9/23) $63.95
3. Rental $101.76 (7 day contract)
4. Car repair $764.83
I have all receipts to support request. (amount may differ from chevron claim as I was given a discount on the rental car due to the hurricane and this incident once it was returned.

Very horrible customer service. Discomforting feeling and literally being ignored for no reason which led me to feel it was racially targeted. Deliberately nasty attitude. I said try to have a nice day and she just stared at me. Second time with the same employee and while she ignored me she made a snarky comment about a women outside she told to come in.

On Saturday September 23, 2017 at approximately 6 pm I was a customer at the North Vancouver Chevron station (660 West 3rd Street). I did not purchase gas, I walked into the store and purchased 2 drinks. The cashier came out from the back of the store. I said hello and he proceeded to yawn, he did not acknowledge my greeting, he did not say a word. When he rang my purchases in I asked how much I owed and again he did not speak, he instead pointed to the cash register display. I said goodbye, he did not acknowledge. This is extremely rude behaviour for someone working in the customer service field. I can only shake my head.
I had a bad experience at chevron
I would like to speak to some one in higher management ever time I get to this store it's never opened on time now. This guy is so rude On 9/18/17 the store manager there was not waiting on me. I walked around the store and he seem to have been in back office . He doesn't speak he only rings me up and go about his way. The young lady that works there inform me when I came back there later that day around 4:15 that he has a bad attitude and accused her of stealing once and that he is very rude. I think that he should be talked to about this. You all want keep any employees with this guy around. I have been coming into that store for years and never got treated this way. very bad service
On our way back to Florida from fleaing the state we wanted to fill our cars with gas we stopped by and had a bad experience This store is very bad, service is bad the cashier is rude, store is not clean gas pumps are not in good condition had a hard time pumping the gas ( gas pump hose was leaking), and other costemers had the same issue the cashier was smoking next the pump, and cursing at the customers.

the service I receive at a chevron gas station store 19 in port arthur texas was horrible.
I went to a chevron gas station on memorial and jimmy johnson in port arthur texas and this very rude lady named susey was very unpleasent. When i ask for the maneger she inform me she was the manager. I felt disrespected and belittled. This occured tuesday september 12 2017. Around 1130. She had a problem with a seprate customer and when i was next in line she yell at me, ask me for my id and as i layed it on the counter she grabbed it read the info and through it back at me exclaiming that wasnt nice to through things with an unpleasent attitude. I said that was uncalled for and ask for a maneger she said she was the maneger at that point i left the store upset and unsatisfied with the service.

I have just heard about how Chevron has been jacking up fuel prices in Florida during Hurricane Irma. I just wanted to let you know, it will be a cold cold day in hell before a nickel of my money goes to Chevron's pockets. Your Company is profiting on the suffering of Americans and for that there is no forgiveness. How do you people sleep a night after screwing the people who made you so much money.

I stopped by Cheveron at 5957 Highway 45 and I was in an emergency situation and needed gas but my bank card would not work so I grabbed the changed in my car and tried to pay for $5.00 worth of gas to get me back home and the cashier refused to take the change. This put me in a very bad situation and caused me to be stranded for hours. This gas station is one of the only gas stations in my area and to refuse not to take money whether it is change or folding money then this store must don't want my business. I will be sure to let others know that Customer Service here is Awful. Money is Money I can see if it was pennies!

On Sunday 09/03/2017 at 12:20 P.M. I stop at a Chevron station located at 170 Merrydale Road in San Rafel California [protected]), I purchased gas and other small iteam from the store. The clerk at the counter gave me my change back I said (thank you), the clerk didn't replay so I said it again. The clerk laugh and replied, I don't say thank you. My reply was, excuse me, "he stated "I don't need to thank you, you should thank me for shopping in my store". I then asked for a refund and the name of the manager, he replied, "No" and get out of my store.
resolution: The clerk was not professional at all, I did not receive a refund or the managers number. I know that Chevron is better then that, it could have been resolved at a managers level. I think this clerk should not be in the public eye because, if it happened to me I'm sure it happened to someone else, the owner should firer terminate that employee.

I have been coming to chevron for years. I have meet Mr Jim a while back. Two weeks ago in a row Mon Tues Thru Friday I sat outside and was late for work several times waiting on store to open. I drive a rig and love the gas the only reason I keep coming back. the manager at 109 e bertkouns this is a short dark skin guy his hair is orange looking. he gets to the store after 6 most of the time. He told me one time he gets to work at 5am. I proceeded to tell him no I sit outside because the store opens at 5:00, he said it changed to 6:00. Even if the store opens at 6 he still gets there late sometimes and always in back room and on his phone at the front counter. I told him he do not get there until 6 sometimes after 6. The guy told me to get out of store. There is a sweet girl dark skin girl with long hair who still works there and inform me this guy is stealing time and that she is looking for another place of employment . She is not happy working there and no one should feel that way. I think something needs to be looked into. This guy was rude while we were talking I can't believe Jim has a manager that works there this way.. I'm going to call him personally and let him know.

Stopped at the Chevron station on 901 West Esplanade ave Kenner La. as I normally do to fill up with fuel. Cashier continued her lewd conversation with an acquaintance who was lingering in the store to buy beer. Despite me being right in front of her she continued to loudly use profanity and laughter with her acquaintance while remarking about how she wish her shift was over. She used language I cannot use here, and she obviously didn't think much of me as a customer if she used said profanity. She was rude and should be removed from this store!
texaco customer service
I stopped at the Texaco gas station at the corner of Backbeach and Highway 79 to purchase a Florida Lotto ticket about 2 weeks back. I handed my lotto card to the cashier with the name tag Angela, probably not even her real name, who proceeded to run it through the machine, so far so good. As she handed me my ticket she told me the total was $10, which confused me since it should have only been $5. When I inquired as to the reason it was $10 she looked at the card I gave her and said I picked the extra option, I do not recall checking the extra option but I could've made a mistake OK fine. Having only brought in five dollars in cash I was hoping to put it on my debit card but the woman informed me it was cash only, I told her I didn't have $10 in cash only $5. She then told me in a very rude voice she was going to call the cops on me because the ticket couldn't be cancelled, I was in shock! I asked her if she wouldn't mind waiting a moment while I went to my car and see if I had some extra cash in there shaking and incredibly embarrassed I went out to my vehicle where luckily I found some more cash, came back inside to purchase the ticket and found out from the other cashier who is working there that she had canceled the ticket even though the other woman told me it couldn't be canceled. The other woman explained to me that the Angela woman didn't know it could be cancelled and apologized which I appreciated. I ended up having her run my card back through and purchasing the ticket and leaving but I will never go back to this gas station ever, this was the most embarrassing experience of my life. Being told someone is going to call the cops on you over a simple $10 mistake I couldn't believe. That woman shouldn't be working there if she doesn't even know how to run the lotto machine.

I stopped in sherwood oregon to fill propane in my RV. I went to pay and the CC WAS DOWN DUE TO SATALITE. I was asked to use the ATM whic charged me 2.99 above the 40. I needed. Then my bank charged me 2.50. So the fuel that was 21.something was now 5.49 more!
I asked about the alternate hard copy card and was told I had to use ATM
I liked when the Altos owned the station. Now I just feel like I was robbed.
chevron text from concentrate plus
I put chevron techtron concentrate plus in my 3014 370z touring and a few days later it started running poorly, almost cutting off, would not accelerate properly, the gas indicator isn't working properly. I took it to two places to figure out the issue and once I explained to the dealership what I added to the gas they finally figured out what the issue was. I now have to have the gas tank drained and cleaned out to get rid of any trace of this product. I would absolutely not recommend this product to anyone.
filthy dirty retail chevron c-store - below chevron standards
I am a former Chevron light oil distributor/jobber in Texas, New Mexico and Colorado and owned and operated many Chevron branded convenience stores. I also was on several national advisory boards with Chevron, so I have some knowledge about 'standards' for Chevron branded retail outlets.
Your Marco Island, FL unit is a disgrace! On the credit card receipt (that I had to go inside to obtain since the pump printer was inoperable), the operator is listed as "Marco Petroleum [protected]". My invoice was E/2143932 AUTH 593818 in the amount of $49.72
I bought gas and a car wash today on 8-12-17. The pumps were dirty (actually filthy); there was loose trash on the fuel islands; the anti-skimming label tags were cut; the nozzle dripped; and, the printer was not operating so I was unable to get my car wash code.
The car was also filthy with several broken parts clearly visible.
Additionally, I paid $9.00 for a Deluxe car wash, but inside the store, the clerk hand wrote a code which turn out to be for the lowest level wash, not for what I paid.
Unfortunately, the female clerk couldn't speak adequate English so I'm not sure she even understood my problem(s).
I would be happy to go back to the store to take pictures for you if you would like.
I'm confident that Mr John Watson, Chevron's Chairman, would have a heart attack if he were to visit this facility.

The Chevron located at the corner of Kuykendahl and Cypresswood Drive in Spring, TX consistently does not keep the mowing and edging up to standard. The grass (weeds) grow almost knee high before mowing is done. I have spoken to the attendant on duty in the morning a number of times to no avail. There is litter in the grass that does not get picked up regularly.
This station serves middle to upper class subdivisions and we expect this station to be responsible like the other businesses surrounding it. Our home values mean a lot to us and we feel this irresponsible behavior is not helpful.
If there is not a consistent change, our next step is to post our unhappiness via Facebook and the NextDoor app.

camel blues
After buying the pack of camel blues I proceeded on my way to work. At my first brake I grabbed and packed them like every time before. Once opened I instantly realized that the paper containing the tobacco was peeling apart at the seam. I was at work and had no choice but to smoke them the best I could. I was working a 12 hour graveyard shift. I've been smoking this brand for 15 years. I've never had a problem. To say the least I was very upset about my $6 purchase.

At approximately 3:30 in the morning July 17th I purchased $20 of gas in 2 quarts of oil at the Chevron station on Morello Avenue in Martinez. After the purchase I was pumping gas and realized I needed $5 for the Bridge toll. So I stopped the pump at $15 went back to the attendant to get my change and he informed me that they do not give cash refunds on gas purchases. I thought this was rather odd and explain to him that I forgot I needed $5 cash for the bridge that was to no avail not only did he refuse to give me my money back he would not allow me to get my $5 in gas either and then he ordered me to stay while he was on the phone supposedly with Chevron corporate to try to resolve the matter. Waited 10-15 minutes for him to resolve this and it was late and I was tired I had a long day with car I was tired and I just wanted to go home so I informed him I was leaving. He demanded that I Stay and we resolve the issue I told him it wasn't worth the $5 that point and I just left. Truthfully I don't know what would have happened if I had stayed but I was not comfortable with the situation and even though I've been $5 basically stolen from me I just wanted to get away from the place.
I am writing to you now in hopes that I can receive reimbursement for my $5 and the approximately $35 I will pay because I did not have the $5 cash to go through the Bridge toll.
