A claim was filed for repair on my dryer on August 7, 2023, I think. The only correspondence that I received was that Choice Warranty was having trouble assigning the job to a technician and I had the option of waiting or having it fixed and being reimbursed. Since there was no further response, I had the dryer repaired myself on August 14, 2023. I contacted Choice Warranty on August August 18, 2023 to notify them that I had paid for the repair and was informed that the dryer was scheduled to be repaired by A & E Service on August 24, 2023 and an email was sent to me on August 11, 2023 informing me of such. I explained to them that I received no such email and checked my SPAM folder also. It was determined by the company that I had not gotten permission from them to proceed with getting someone to repair the dryer, therefore I could not be reimbursed. I am highly disappointed in the service that I have received the last several times from CHW. It takes forever for any type of service to be rendered and the upfront price has continued to increase over the years. The service is nothing like it used to be when I first enrolled in the program several years ago. I feel the service to customers should be improved in whatever manner it takes to satisfy customers. A person should not have to wait 3-4 weeks for repairs.
Desired outcome: Repairs should be made in a timely manner and correspondence regarding the matter constant until the job is done.
