I have filed a complaint about the broken issue with the refrigerator and I have been misled by the wrong information from the customer service and later I received an email for the claim denied and I raised an issue to discuss but the case management bluntly said no further talk and claim denied and cancelled my policy? Who has given the dictatorship right to the case manager to take instant decision until the existing claim is resolved? Why you sales team approach to me two years back with so many good things if you have dictator type case manager in your company. I am getting frustrated with your case manager and instead of helping the customer they are running away. I had a talk with the sear's technician, and I really love how they understand the problem I am going through.

the baby was so cold - the couldn’t find technician - had to find my own and fix it and pay 3 fees of 75 dollars - when i called they said - there system doesn’t allow them. They tell you on the phone they will credit you back just to get you off the phone - then when you call back they said they don’t have it in their notes.
i had a gas stove issue - been 2 months and i called and they told me i have to wait for the technician. Technician not picking up. i’m just done and will get my lawyer

Washing machine
submitted a claim sept 28 because the washer was leaking sent two technician who said it was humidity machine still leaking second person replaced the seal on the front door to washer this was denied because they said it was not covered under the terms the washer would not work if the door is not closed i hade to pay 285.00 for the seal and the washer was still leaking this company has the worst customer service i have ever delt with. we are in November 8th and the washer is still leaking. I am going to buy a new washer since no one ca figure out the problem.

I have choice plan edge cost $580.00 contract term 01-20-2023 to02-20-2024 my hot water heater started leaking 10-16-2023 I filed claim #[protected] explained hot water eater leaking at bottom .said they would contact repair person to repair or replace as of today no one has contacted me for repairs I have left massages every day since with no repairman as of yet .I am told daily they are working hard trying to find service person in area . I have isolated hot water heater and with out hot water. I asked them to talk to management that I wanted to file complaint .they said he would file for me ?

We are 75 & 76 years old, bought our policy after reading the contract thinking it would give us piece of mind with a phone call to Choice. (ha ha). Notified Choice several times and keep getting the same answer. Working on it. Very disappointed you have not found a contractor to solve our problem. Choice home warranty does not respond
I filed telling them my fans were not working. They ignored me then they asked me to find my own repairman, so I found an electrical company and I sent them the estimate. Then they sent a repair man to look and he gave them an estimate and I paid them the $65 co pay. Then they never responded. I have emailed them about seven times and have been ignored.

Garage door and oven repair
We filed a claim on our oven back in april and this company has done nothing on the oven, I keep getting a bunch of bs, oh we can't find anyone to come out after numerous phone calls, this an absolute joke. On the garage door. They had a company come out and yes they fixed it and it lasted 3 days and again all I get is a run around on getting someone back our. If I knew this was going to be they way they do business, they would not have gotten my business

Called in june for vent fan in the roof ist guy that came said he could not remove the tiles with out permission his boss came the next time removed some tiles said he could not do the job over and over since june they keep sending the same companies with the same results now the say it is a different kind of tech that needs to come and I have to open a new claim and if I dont pay the 68 dollars they will not open the claim I already paid for a job that was not done and and choice knows this but pretty much said to bad for you this is the worst warrenty company I have ever dealt with no claim has gone with complications my next step after this is to contact my lawyer warning to stay far away from this company

Choice Home warranty is a fraud. The claim representatives work against you in order to deny your claim. They always try to put the blame on something or someone else. This company is not professional and does not take the responsibility of servicing it's customer's needs in a timely manner. The company approves what they want to approve, for the cheapest value.
Desired outcome: I cancelled my membership, it's not worth the headaches !
Air conditioning
They were called out numerous times and did nothing finally because of the oer 110 degrees temperature had to call in some one else it cost me 855 dollars they only reimbrused me 476 dollars. On another call about my ceiling fan they said it was a faulty installation. That fan was installed at more than 25 yhears ago before I bought the house! The list goes on and on! They claim they have the bbb's endorsement! If they do? B bb is a sham! I am going to the nevada legislature to see what can be done to prohibit them from doing business in the state of nevada! My son also has them his hot water heater went out! They refused to cover it saying it was a storage tank and they do not cover storage tanks! It was a normal 30 gallon hot water hw=eater whick was stated in his contract was covered!

I am definitely going through the same things with this company and have been with them since 2012. I had an upright freezer the light still came on but nothing else worked so I called Choice and they said a freezer was not considered an appliance because you have a freezer on your refrigerator. Never was told that when I bought 4 years of their stupid contract and paid cash. A couple of months after the freezer part I started having problems with the dryer which cost me 1900.00 so I called them to come and look at it because it was an expensive unit they said they would cover it because it was abused. I am 67 years old I keep care of everything I have. But Choice Warranty did not cover my dryer so I had to replace it with another. Now is the washing machine they sent an email but not to me to say they were going to have to replace my machine but whoever they sent that to these people expected 300.00 in cash cards to Lowes and now all they are willing to give me for my machine is 701.00 not happening.
Choice Home Warranty
I decided to switch home warranty companies and went with Choice. HUGE MISTAKE! Our refrigerator died the day after our warranty went into effect. At first, they denied the claim stating it was a preexisting condition, which makes no sense. I have no control over when a compressor goes out on a fridge. Then they said if I sent them a copy of my cancellation letter with my previous home warranty company they would honor it, I did that and they still denied the claim, stating that my previous warranty should have ended on the day I signed up with them, but I canceled on the day I signed with them because I knew it would be 30 days until contract would go in effect. They have given me nothing but a run-around, I have tried escalating and have gotten nowhere. I now want to cancel my contract and they refuse to give me my money back, stay far away, way better companies out there! Lesson learned!

I have a 3-year-old water heater that has gone bad. It first went bad in May 2023 where CHW sent a company out to repair it and they did by replacing the heating Element and the thermal couple along with some wiring. Here in Oct 2023, it went bad again the technician that CHW sent out was the same company and Technician that came out in May. He tried replacing the heating element again, but it did not work. He recommended having the Water Heater replaced but CHW denied the replacement. The Claims Manager stated the cause to be sediment in the tank. I tried to explain to her that the tank gets drained yearly. It was drained in May 2023 when the Plumbing company CHW sent out came to make the repair so how can it be Sediment build up? i believe this case Manager is not even technical to understand what I was trying to explain. She just kept repeating it was from the sediment build up. My Family has been without hot water for 6 days already.
Desired outcome: Refund for the Water heat I am about to purchase and have installed because we cannot be without hot water any longer.
deceptive contract terms
Have a contract PIF in hand that states my coverage runs thru 2028 now I'm being told that i downgraded it and it expires in 2023. Never Happened and why would i downgrade if it costs the same ? Have to send a dispute letter which they do not acknowledge. Here's a copy of letter.

I filed a claim on my dishwasher leaking. Paid 85.00 for a service call. End result couldnt be fixed.. CHW settled the claim with a check for 264.00 towards a new dishwasher.
