Nail heads coming through heels
I purchased a pair of Clarks Women's Promise May Dress Pump through Amazon. I really like the looks of the shoes and have always found Clarks shoes to be comfortable, however I have worn these shoes several times and find them to be VERY uncomfortable. I believe the nail heads are sticking up through the heels, making them painful to wear. I don't want to purchase another pair if this is how they are manufactured. I'm wondering if I can get them repaired/replaced. I will attach a photo of the heel to show where they are coming through.
Service
ORDER #[protected] placed on June 26, 2015, for 2 pairs of ladies' shoes from Clark's USA for $107.02. The shoes I ordered do not fit. I want to return them & get a refund. I have gone to the web site to get return information, www.clarksusa.com. The web site is not functioning. When I call the customer service number, [protected], I am always put on hold with the message that they are busy assisting other customers and that my call will be answered by the next available repesentative. I have lost count of the number of times I have called, but I timed one waiting period at 22 minutes. I want to return the shoes, unworn, & get a refund.
They took money and you wouldn't take order or any reply
I saw the ad of the company www.ClarksShoe.net that they offered Clark shoes for the cheap prices. Awful attitude and services. The company fools people and they don’t care about it. They didn’t provide any confirmation info, they didn’t reply to my emails and complaints, but they charged me very quickly. The worst company and please, post comments about your experience. These people are scammers and ###, so be careful if you buy from them as well as post comments about your things with them.
Shoes Falling Apart
2 pair of Clarks shoes in the same week . . . like so many other people's complaints, the soles just come apart from the uppers. Please see attached photos. They look well made, but aren't I want to order another pair based on Clarks past good reputation, but am very, very hesitant especially since the price of them has consistently risen while the quality...

I bought a pair of Clark's safety non-slip shoes. Unfortunately I won't get my money's worth out of these shoes. I just bought them last week, and already it looks as though they're coming apart at the seams. Who wants to walk around with shoes that look like they are falling apart and about to " meet thei maker".

I found the ad of the company www.Clarksuk.net. It was horrible, ‘coz I wanted to contact the rep before I would place the order, but the customer services turned to be the worst. I sent tons of emails and asked to provide any info about it, but no one replied. As well as I sent messages, but the email address was fault. Stay away from them and post comments about your experience with them.
shoes fall apart
I have had several pairs of Clarks over the years. I have had a pair for about 3 years that fell apart, as these folks here have indicated. I was at work, going up and down stairs. Not only is it embarrassing, but dangerous, When I called the Clarks store to complain the manager told me the company had lost 4 million dollars this year. Too bad, do you think maybe its the workmanship? I am a shoe shopper, have a closet full, but am done with Clarks and so is the rest of my family. I have never had this happen with another brand. Have you folks ever tried Naot? They are the most comfortable shoes ever.

Defrauded of $579 usd
Contacted on web by Felicia Hernandez who told her inheritance would be left to me upon her death. Two weeks later, her (supposed)death occurred. Contacted by her lawyer, David Clarkson. He charged me $579 and now he wants $7, 800 more so he can pay her taxes. I can not find him listed any where. I believe dear Felicia is also a fraud as is Mr. Clarkson. I want my $579 restored to me as It is a scam and I do not want any part of this. Mrs. Hernandez husband is supposed to have died in a plane crash in 2002 in Aberdeen, Scotland. She only lasted 2 weeks after our initial contact on the web. She is suppose to have died of cancer of the heart. Which is a false sickness. that is a dead give away for a diagnosis Please help me catch these frauds.
lets nail the ###! the whole thing is so elaborate..its hard to NOT believe them. According to Mr Clarkson Felicia is coming off life support This week.. I took a calculated risk and Now I see that I was right to doubt .
I have just received same e mail & would be willing to help devise plan to catch them in action.
Shoes
At the end of July we visited clarks shoe department in mother care Blackburn with my son for a new pair of school shoes. A trainee girl measured my little boys feet. She then got another girl to check that they was the correct size and fit. I was confident in trusting there judgement and happily purchased the shoes. When my son started school in September I noticed that whilst wearing his new shoes he was struggling to keep them on his feet and looking down at them you could see how spacious they were. In actual fact they were to big. On 11th of September I returned the shoes to burnley and received a refund. The staff at burnley so how the shoes were far to wide for my son. I'm very upset as my son could have suffered with blistered feet due to the ill fitting shoes. I'm not blaming the trainee as we all have to learn but I think it's a very poor do when two staff employed to fit children's shoes got it wrong and like Iv already mentioned the consequences could of been my little boys feet being ruined
Broken Clarks kids shoes
Good afternoon,
My daughter came home from school yesterday with a broken Clark shoe. We bought these shoes at the end of January for the new school year. I purchased these shoes at Myers however I have not kept the receipt since the shoes are 3 months old.
I approached Myers however they informed me that they cannot do anything because I do not have the receipt. Since I paid $100, 00 for the shoes I would like to know if there is anything that Clarks can do for me?

Upper pulls away from Sole
I have had 3 pairs fall apart like all the other folks here are talking about. The rubber of the stitching pulls through the rubber sole and the upper and bottom of the shoes separate.
There is a simple fix for this..."The Last Glue" It's made by a Canadian company. I came across it back in the early 2000's at a home show. It is a miracle worker and will fix your Clarks in seconds and STAY fixed.
I do not sell this glue nor do I profit an anyway from it and it is the most awesome stuff you'll ever find. It is NOT super glue though it smells the same. TLG bonds on lack of oxygen and can stand temps up to 650 deg. I fixed 3 pairs of my shoes with it just recently, but I've used it for countless other things. I'd suggest you buy The Last Filler also, but you can use acetone for the cleaner if you glue your fingers together. Because it uses the lack of oxygen, it doesn't work well for somethings...like the plastic item I was trying to fix this morning.
This in the past has also saved all my china coffee cups which had a design flaw in them and a very special dog toy for my beloved late doggy.
The Last Glue is expensive but it lasts for a LONG time if you keep it in the fridge. I had my first bottle for years.

Discrimination
I visited clarks in altrincham on george street. I was served by a a girl who intimidated me by saying i had ordered in too many shoes, she repeatedly said this while smirking. She then made decisions for me as tp whether i needed to try all the shoes on and told the other girl helping to not bring certain pairs to me which i had ordered in to the store online. I told her she was making me feel uncomfortable and she just walked off. Shouldnt she have apologised or sked why i felt this way. Having complained to head office . This firmly said this girl did nothing wrong. Clarks should be ashamed.

Disintegrating shoes
The soles of my partner's Clarks blue suede shoes completely disintegrated as he was putting them on last week. I took them to the local Clarks shop who more or less told be that as he does not wear them often this is NORMAL! We both have shoes which are more expensive, cheaper and older [which we look after properly] and this has not happened to any of them. I was told they would send the shoes back to Clarks for analysis and was given a £10 voucher.
I telephoned Customer Service this morning to complain about the situation and was given the same feeble excuse - that is was our fault. She also said that the shops NEVER send the shoes back to them and they always bin them at the shop so I was lied to by the shop.
Such lack of respect for the Customer. They treat us all like idiots. We will NEVER shop at Clarks again and I am now publicising the problem to as many people as I can.

I first purchased Clark's sandals for a trip to Italy in 2001 (I live in California in the US). They were comfortable and light and held up well and I wore them constantly so I kept purchasing Clark's sandals over the years. Beginning about 10 years ago, I began to experience the soles coming apart after fewer than 10 wearings -- literally having large chunks come off or having gravel or other surface stones getting stuck into the soles and when I tried to remove the stones, the soles came with them. I don't know why this has occurred but Clark's has definitely done something to change the content of their soles and I have stopped purchasing their shoes. The last pair I wore literally fell apart at a meeting that I was conducting; I was walking on carpet and chucks began to fall off of the soles so badly that I had to take the shoes off. I don't trust Clark's to make a quality shoe, especially after hearing the comments here about Clark's not standing behind their faulty product.
I have had two pairs of Clarks springer sandals disintegrate on me. I too found it difficult to walk back to the house - only 200yds - as pieces of sole fell off at every step. The second pair I had only worn a few times as they were kept for 'best' and only taken out in good weather. The first pair had been worn more often but not a lot. Both pairs were several years old and kept in the original shoe box between airings. They are stamped 'made in England'. I obviously can't take them back to the shop now, but I have learnt two things from this complaints board - It's a waste of time to return to the shop and Clarks do not respond to ANY complaints on the board! So Clarks are not the great firm they used to be and I will not be buying from Clarks from now on.
Below a pair of Clarks shoes purchased in January 2010, in a Clarks store, moderate use, which dropped me during a trip to Singapore! in the city ... thank you! The sales department and was told that it was normal? What do you think? thank you.

Clarks courier - YODEL - well known to me for other delivery failures, sent the shoes I ordered to the wrong depot.
The wrong depot were too lazy to send it on to the right depot, instead they were returned to Clarks.
Without contacting me, Clarks proceeded to cancelled the order!
Clarks shoe sole falling apart, love the comfort of the shes...to bad I can't wear them anymore.
I bought a pair of 10M Clarks shoes in March 09. The soles on both shoes have developed a long crack perpendicular to the length of the shoe under the ball of the foot.
I called Clarks and they are sending me a free replacement pair. Hopefully they last longer than 1 year.
A new pair of Clarks woman shoes is sloe broken. It is the problem of the aging of rubber. This bad quality shoes of Clarks was made in Brazil. Clarks China company does not agree to change this pair of Clarks free. I can't believe it is the service of Clark!
I was at a conference center and wore my Clark Mary Janes. I was about 2 isles in and I tripped on the carpet, looked down and saw a seam had come undone. I thought no more about it. As I was walking ahead of my friend she said my shoe was coming apart. I looked again and the trim was hanging and the seam had separated more. Because I had only been there for about 30 minutes I thought that, so long as it stays on my foot, I'll keep walking. It soon became apparent the walking would have to stop or I had to do something with the shoe. I found an exhibitor that had some packing tape which he wrapped around my shoe. I was good to go. I figured this was all taken care of. NOT, not a half hour passed and my other shoes started falling apart, seams, trim, heel, everything. I went to the maintenance people and they found some tape and did a job on this shoe. Now that I was taped together I enjoyed the rest of the expo. I tried to forget about the taped shoes I was wearing.
I will try to attach a photograph of my expensive Clark's mens shoes showing how the soles have detached from the shoes.
I have repaired the shoues usung a commercial glue and using six 15mm self tapping screws from the inside of the shoe into the heel.
Wow I love Clark's shoes and I have some that are about 6 years or more old. The 6 year old pr is sandals and I wear them all the time.
Product defective soles
The same thing happened to my brand new Clark's .
I was entering a Congressional hearing on Capital Hill when the soles of my Clark's black Leather mules completely separated from the upper part of both shoes. I fell down, hit my head and passed out. When I regained conscientious I was surrounded by a concerned and helpful audience consisting of congressional staffers and a wide variety of legal practitioners. Everyone was shocked at what had happened. Most were familiar with the Clark's brand. In fact, many claimed to own multiple pairs of Clark's. A few put there foot forward exposing their Clark's for all to see! Needless to say, I was absolutely humiliated. I want the CLARK'S corporation to 1. Replace my shoes, 2. Compensate me for all the damages, 3. Stop selling defective shoes, and 4. Apologize to me and the public.

Falls apart
Your Shoe Company has me so upset! I have bought Clark shoes ever since they came on the market!
I have no idea what has happened that four pair of my shoes have fallen apart at the soles. Two pair were
slip ons and two were sandals and all four fell apart at the soles. I have always loved Clark shoes but they
are expensive and no way will I pay for something that I know is going to fall apart!
It must be happening often looking at all your complaints!
Clarks have always been a favorite shoe for me! Could you explain the problem?
I was in the Mall when the sole fell off my one shoe and it would not stay on my foot. A store owner offered
to put duck tape on it to get me out of the mall! I had no extra shoes with me and it was a real fun day shopping
with duck tape on one of my shoes! Public needs to know what your selling and what you plan to do about it!

I agree. I once wore a pair of Clark shoes for the very first time and on my way to church in the streets, my shoe literally fell apart. It started flopping around like the ground was falling away beneath me. I then walked back to my car and the other side started to fall apart at the seams. I barely made it back driving home. Sooo disappointed and a hazard. I recently looked at 4 more new pairs that I had in my closet and sure enough, all I did was put them on, walked around my room once and all of the seams of each shoe split apart from the sole. Terrible.
Soles crumbled on two new pair of shoes
Two pairs of Clarks worn a maximum of three times each, shoes were
49.99 and 79.99 a pair. When i WALKED in them the soles CRUMBLED! VERY DISAPPOINTED. Shoe Repair told us that some faulty cheap materials were used on the soles. The leather upper part of the shoe was good but fell to pieces after the soles. COULD NOT BE REPAIRED. No longer have receipts have one defective pair I can send you. Expect apology and refund for two pairs of shoes! If I am not satisfed I will make a complaint with the BBB and State of Texas Attorney Generals Office.
I have the same problem with two pairs of 'Activeair' shoes - upper parted from sole. Clarks shoes used to be English made. The leather is still good but the material used for the soles is very poor and ages rapidly. This is what happens when you move production to cheap labour areas of the world. You lose your good name and we do not buy your shoes anymore.
i bought a pair of clark shoes a year ago i thought they were top quality i only wore them very little the soles started falling apart on both shoes they are the womens black partridge size 8 i think i should be reinbursed for these shoes or even exchanged. they are very poor quality did you see all your complaints i cannot believe this.
I have a pair of Clarks shoes that I just love, but 3 years into use, sole of one shoe disintegrated (between upper part of shoe and actual bottom of shoe) and a shoe repair business told me it couldn't be repaired. What a waste.
Bullying, rudeness and racism
I would like to just let everybody know, how terrible the staff are that are employed in Lewisham Branch of Clarkes. Asi waled into the shop with my two young children to purchase school shoes. One member of staff was laying across the assigned customer seating area. Another was texting on her mobile phone. When i finally gained her attention, she proceeded to move on with the shoe fittings for the children. Which took 25 mins as the unhelpful employee kept having to adjust her facial piercings every 2 seconds complaining that she has bout some new earings to put in her face and she didnt have time to put them in properly. So while my children were getting very impatient sh totally ignored the task before her and proceeded to get her work collegue to help her fit this bar into her face. In the end i asked to speak to a manager and was told by unhelpful staff "Nicola" that there is no manager. She is in charge. I said i wanted to make a complaint obout her conduct. She insited that there was no way of making complaints and if i didnt like her attitude or the way she "runs the shop" i should go to a different shoe shop. I was in Clarkes for 57 mins and did not obtain one pair of shoes for the children. This is discraceful and i assumed Mobile telephones and facial piercings were not generally allowed to shop floors by member of staffs. Obviously she didnt care about what good customer service was. I have never been spoken to so rudly by a shop member of staff in all my life. I shall be taking this further!

I have had two pairs of Clarks now that have had the soles fall apart while I was wearing them. One was today in a restaurant. I stepped down and felt off. When I looked down I saw a large black hunk of the sole. Since this happened a year ago with a different pair, I knew what it was. I will not be buying Clarks ever again!
I too have a fairly new pair of Clarkes slip on shoes. Only slightly worn, the uppers look brand new. Had them on at work yesterday and the soles blew out. Little black chunks everywhere. I have a brown pair that I wear 3-4 times a week that still look perfect. Not sure if I'll buy any more tho, too expensive to worry about this issue. If I could find my receipt I'd take them back to the store.
My Wife is on crutches after a hip replacement, the last thing she needed was to slip and find her shoe had disintegrated. these shoes are not old as you can see by the uppers. the other shoe is starting to split on the sole as well.
I cant take them back to the retailers as we bought them in London, How can we get a refund please. I tried to send u a photo but have been told its only up to 2 MMB
Shoes
I've worn Clark's foot wear for years. They last long enough to become a trusted friend, so when I experienced the sole coming lose from the leather upper while I was away from home for the day, I had to keep them on by using several rubber bands. This was a foot cradling slide on sandal with wide woven straps, a very sturdy stable shoe. I have lost confidence in the design and/or the materials used. They are several years old but should not have completely failed.

sole deteriorating
i bought a pair of clark's springer sandals 2 years ago from qvc and wore them all
last summer and this summer. the soles are coming apart and leaving peaces all over
the place. I did not know clarks shoes did this since they have a great reputation and
cost a good bit, They were the most comfortable shoe I ever wore. What can be done

Shoes fall apart
I rinsed off the rubber bottoms of my Clark sandals, to get some grass clippings off, and within an hour the heals of both sandals were disintegrating! Strange! See photo below.

I have had 7 pairs of clark's shoes to come apart from the soles in about 2 yrs. The last pair was last week. The other pairs I took to a shoe repair shop out of town and he would not repair them because he said that when that happens to these kind of shoes they cost a lot to repair them. These 7 pairs of shoes cost me a lot of money and should have lasted me a long time esp. when you don't wear them enough to even show wear on the shoe. Back in the summer when I returned from the shoe cobbler I did through the other pairs in the trash but when this happened to this last pr. I did keep it. People told me that I should take a picture and sent it to the company. I am sorry now that I put the other pairs in the trash. I was not thinking at the time. I am a widow and have no one to keep with these kind of decisions. Thank you so much.
