Conn's Home Plus Gaming computer

I purchased 2 Gaming computers for my twin Asberger sons for their birthday. One works, one never did. I attempted to make a return/exchange of the non working computer to the store I purchased it from. I was denied the return or exchange and was told if I returned it I'll still have to pay for it. I should not have to pay for a computer that was received in non-working condition. I was told originally to keep the boxes and I had 10 days to return. I called the store for assistance the very day of purchase, the next day as well. I attempted the return/exchange within days of purchase. The store will not accept the return, nor offer an exchange which is actually my preference. I am shocked there would be any expectation that I am to pay for anything that never worked from day one, or to follow the store's return policy and there be an expectation to pay for a very expensive item returned. I have called their corporate office and a "ticket" was opened up for me. So far, no call back or resolution. I am distressed that 1 Asberger twin has a working computer and the other has a non-working computer, and there appears no way to remedy this for my son because the store will not honor their own return policy. Of course I will seek legal assistance because there is zero chance I will pay for a defective product. There is zero chance I will pay for a return product as threatened. I am within my rights to make a high dollar purchase and have an expectation of receiving it new and in working order and if not, then to be given an exchange for a product that does work! As I have read many others to say. . . I also never will step foot in a Conn's store and will warn others as well not to do so.

Desired outcome: Exchange the non - working computer for one that works

Conn's Home Plus Refrigerator purchase

I went to Burleson Conn's to purchase a refrigerator for 4th of July sale on Sunday July 3rd. Spent almost three hours there for them to get paperwork processed with all their issues. Come to find out financing process wouldn't go through system because I had an older account they finally realized they needed to cancel first. Kept trying without success even though I was approved still wouldn't process. Then I realized they were spelling my name wrong. Even when they had my driver's license and credit card in hand. The manager on shift didn't want to try a fourth time that may cancel my new account. So to save time i put on my credit card. Asked for a discount to help with interest I would be charged on my card. That i was going to avoid with 2 yr no interest. She was nice to get me a 10% discount. I was happy all was good. Even joking about felt like buying a car i was there so long. I was very patient. Until the delivery came which, I set up four says after purchase for Thursday, since my husband would be home. I needed to have delivery before Saturday, since my older frigerator was going to a family member that need to make arrangements to drive 2 hours to pickup. Which I had conveyed this information to sales person Jacob who was doing his best. This is where it started. The wrong refrigerator was delivered. I refuse to accept. Called store manager to see what happened w/delivey and to make this good. I spoke with Mr.Parker who checked into the situation. He called me right back. This is were it went really bad. I was told that the wrong tag was but on the refrigerator with the wrong item #. The actual refrigerator I wanted was $100 more. Because of that I had to wait 24 hours to come back into store to have wrong refrigerator canceled and reorder the correct refrigerator & pay difference $118 w/tax. It couldn't just swap because of differences in price. I felt they should have been waived that additional since it was only $100 for the screw up. Not my fault. Was told 10% was max. Because i had already charge my card i didnt want the hazzle of cancelling order and waiting on a refund to go somewhere else. I explained to him that I needed delivery by Saturday morning. He said he could probably make that happen by putting wrong frig on schedule delivery for Saturday. (asked for first stop he was going to send email for that request as well.) When i come back in Friday to purchase the correct refrigerator was told by another manager on duty that they couldn't get delivery on Saturday at all, truck was full. Apparently the manger Mr. Parker didn't do what he said he would do nor was he at store. Knowing i was coming in to redo the screw up. This was a big mess. Sign in store says next day delivery Free. Lie again. The manager on duty said when possible. Sign does not say that at all. I am a very dissatisfied customer. At this point nothing was made right. Got a bunch lies and I will never walk in your business again. My family has had to readjust their schedule as well. I'm paying more than I should have. Delivery isn't happening when it should have. I have filed a complaint with BBB. Most Horrible service I have ever had.

Desired outcome: To late to get delivery when really needed. The only other thing would be that you honor the price that was posted. Other businesses do. Your the only I have encountered that doesn't.

Conn's Home Plus LG french door refrigerator

I first called Conn's on June 13 TH about my refrigerator not cooling but freezer was working as well as the ice machine. A technician came and said we needed a new compressor and evaps changed. He ordered the parts a new technician came changed out the compressor not the evaps he said they did not need to be replaced that they would send them back to LG. He said I could buy groceries within 36 hrs after the compressor was installed. I bought food everything went out! All my food to the trash! they came again reordered all parts again! the schedule to come and not show up! Today is 7/6/22 they cancelled me again! I reached out to them twice today and said the tech would call me. Finally, the tech called me and said he wasn't certified to do the job. I called again to get someone out here. Conns service dept said they were already booked for today. I have to miss work to be here for them. I'm about to lose my job because of them not showing up! TERRIBLE SERVICE why could they not cancel someone else like they did me before? I have lost groceries, I have lost works days and still not fixed! I have a family of four with a small refrigerator I had to purchase of $280. Terrible experience! Conn's just lost a great customer.

Conn's Home Plus Washer dryer installation broke valve

We have a family of babies and have an emergency need for a new washer dryer. Conns came to install it in Tuesday 5 July at nearly 6pm (later than previewed). The first thing they did ws snap off the valve for the hot water installation and then tried to blame rust...but it was copper. We had to turn the water off with my elderly father and 3 babies under 5 in the home while we waited for an emergency plumber to fix it.

The problem: the installers used force to turn a quarter turn valve and naturally snapped it off. Not only do we not have a washer dryer but we spent $600 in parts and labour for the repair of the valve and will need to spend more for the drywall to be repaired.

They claimed the line of the valve they did NOT break was leaking but while it was rusty it ws fully usable.

Desired outcome: Immediate redelivery and installation today (6 july not 7 July as they rescheduled) and $600+ reimbursement of the costs of the plumbing and wall repair

Conn's Home Plus Furniture/tv and vacuum account [protected]

I purchased $6000.00 in furniture from Cons in 2019, with in 6 months the couch and love seat were falling apart, I contacted the service department and provided the information needed including pictures, I never received a call back, in March the covid epidemic began I was not able to get in touch with service, a few months later I was able to get in touch with the service department. I explained the situation they informed me that the time period had expired and nothing could be restituted. I have been begrudgingly making these payment for the furniture that has fallen apart a tv and vacuum cleaner that no longer work. I have recently fallen on financial problems and have had problems making my payments. I understand this is my debt but under the circumstances I would like for the remaining balance be forgiven.

Desired outcome: to have this debt forgiven

Conn's Home Plus Samsung refrigerator model: rs27t5200sg

I purchased my mother a refrigerator that was delivered last January 25, 2021. She has had the product repaired 4 times now. The refrigerator is a lemon and we do not want parts replaced anymore we want a replacement. She is elderly, lives along and this has caused her to loose food each time the freezing happens which stresses her out. This does not even include the hours on the phone by both my mother and myself explaining the problem and telling the story over and over again numerous times. Tickets being placed under wrong account causing delay in getting serviced. This has been a nightmare because tickets keep going under my number instead of my mothers. I purchased the refrigerator as a gift. Each time she calls they pull up my number so half of the notes are under different ticket numbers. In November they said they were going to put notes under her number not mine.

1st time March 16, 2021 Oder # 1944422 ice maker frozen

2nd time Aug 13, 2021 Order# 2057207 Freezing food (Replaced flapper & Back panel)

3rd time Nov 24, 2121, Order# 2112677 Freezing food (Replaced flapper

4th time June 8, 2022, Order# 2243499 Freezing food (Parts order no estimated time or date on replacement part)

Desired outcome: Replace the refrigerator with another one similar to what I have paid for. It is cheaper to replace then send a repair man to evaluated problem, wait for the part then send back out to replace.

Conn's Home Plus Adjustable Bed

I bought an Adjustable Bed in January it broke 3 times now they sending someone again to fix it, I ask them to take it back and bring me a Queen mattress and bowstring, I don't want to keep going thru this. I'm on Dialysis and I am tired of going thru this with Conns I will never buy anything else from them. They messed over me with a Recliner and my TV they are fake just want your money.

Conn's Home Plus Product keeps breaking.

So i’ve complained before and got offered a $50 gift card to conn because it took them about 4 weeks to fix my dryers.

My dryer has been on and off working since january. It is now may and my dryer is broken again.

I had an appointment last week and they ordered parts. They guy came and out the part in and had to order another part, dryer still not fixed. Today another tech came to fox because we got the parts in and again he said he cannot fix it because I another part has to be order.

I’m soooo sick of this. I’m paying in a product that does not work like it should.

Please just replace my damn dryer.

You guys talk about great customer service but this is [censored]ty service.

And when you ask to speak to a supervisor they are never available.

Conn's Home Plus My complain in about a LG UHD 70 TV

On February 21, 2022 I was approved by Acima at the Conns location In Lewisville, Tx. 2422 S Stemmons Fwy, Lewisville Tx 75067. I purchased the TV from Sam the salesperson at that the Lewisville location. I asked Sam what if I do not like it and Sam said that I have 14 days to return it. When I brought the TV home I setup it up and watched it for two days and decided to return it because the picture quality was not good at all. Watching a movie it was better but watching anything else it was grainy. It was a snowstorm that week starting on evening of 2/23/22 and ending on the morning of 2/25/22. On 2/23/22 I called Sam on his cell which he gave me before I left the store and he was off that day and he told me to call and let the manager know I wanted to return the TV. I called the Lewisville store and spoke with a Chris Carter and I explained to Mr. Carter I wanted to return the TV for the above reason and I also told him that I will bring it back after the snowstorm which was 2/26/22 and He said that would be fine. On 2/26/22 I went to Conns and I saw Sam and he helped me unload the TV and put it on a roller and he took it to the back. Chris Carter was there that day he had on a white shirt and Sam sets it the cubicle next to Mr. Carter. I did not said anything to him that day. When Sam came back he said I need to talk to the Acima rep and let her know I returned the TV. When talking to the Acima rep she said that she could not release my account because is the weekend and I would have to call the corporate office on Monday and they would close my account. On 2/28/22 I called the Acima corporate office and explained I return the TV and they said that they would handle it. I have talked to Acima maybe 6 or 7 times about this and about a two months ago Acima said that the manager of conns said I had to pay a restocking fee. I talked to Acima today and and the supervisor there said that they were told from Conns I had to purchase another TV. That is like me going and buying a car and returning it in a couple of days and they force me to buy another car. That is against the LAW.

I keep getting the below emails ever day and is it is showing on my credit report that I am $470.00 behind on a TV I did not have.

Conn's Home Plus 75 inches Samsung with sound bar

I would to file a complaint to against the conns service department in January my Daughter Veronica Gutierrez called the San Angelo TX store to report our 75inch TV has a picture picture problem since then she's just getting nothing but a runaround since then but since then she is still making payments on it and still no results from the store or the service department.

I'm telling to report this to the media and maybe then someone from Conns corporate well take care of this problem because this is embarrassing for a large retailer not to do their part or maybe we need to talk to my niece who is a judge for Bexar County TX something needs to happen right now my name is Juan Chapa phone number is [protected] call me anytime I'm always home I'm a paraplegic

Conn's Home Plus Delivery Houston Warehouse

Paid for delivery, set up and haul away. Contract delivery came to house, delivered washer/dryer, hauled away dryer but stopped at washer. Delivery person took pictures and said valves were rusted he couldn’t take washer and would come back for pick up. So I called for haul away. Conns says it was my fault valves were damaged so there is no haul away. My complaint: washer was not attached. Plastic hose could have been cut, only thing attached. Delivery Did not want to haul away. Requested to send complaint. They then scheduled haul away. Received no call. Called today. Customer service says money was refunded, no haul away. Why provide service that cannot be fulfilled? We need haul away support. Very unfortunate. Conns needs strong, reliable delivery persons.

Conn's Home Plus Recliner

They sent the wrong recliner, I bought a tv, the new model Samsung 75”, saleswoman assured me it’s the same one in the box. I got home and guess what? Wrong tv. On my way out I brought a store flyer. It says anything over $999. Is 3 years no interest. I got 1 year no interest. I didn’t look over what I was signing closely. At home I noticed I was charged $225. For insurance. I have homeowners insurance. They never asked me if I had insurance. I was deceived in every possible way. I have called several times. All they want is money. They never offered a solution. DO NOT SHOP THERE. TRUST ME

Desired outcome: Pick up the incorrect items or we go to court. I have all my proof ready to go

Conn's Home Plus Furniture was not as explained

In November 2021, we bought 6000 dollars worth of furniture. The mattresses we bought were supposedly platform and we didn't need box springs. Well my kids fall through slats and you cannot even sit on bed without falling through. Have called several times asking for box springs to be given to us because my children cannot even sleep in their beds. I should not have to buy anything else when I was told I didn't need anything else. They want their payment but will not resolve the problem.

Conn's Home Plus Dishwasher

On 3/12/2022 My wife and I entered Conn’s on AustinPeay highway,MEMPHIS,TN.We selected a dishwasher.We chose to pick the dishwasher up from Conn’s warehouse. After paying to have it installed,we then noticed it was not the dishwasher we had chosen they gave us the cheapest one in the store instead of the one that was on sell and a better product.Conn’ offered us 10 percent off which is unacceptable we want what we selected. We called, and spoke with someone from corporate the person we spoke with was unable or unwilling to help resolve the problem that was no fault of ours

Conn's Home Plus Samsung dual range

Multiple complaints about burners that are not heating properly also oven stop cooking on two different occasions Christmas day being one! Started having issues about six months after purchasing 2019 and I have been calling at different times but I’ve been told that because my calls or my complaints were not within a certain time period that a change in the stove was not a consideration. One of burners is still not working at optimal level to this day 3/2022 tired of calling feel I have no recourse for my situation. One reason being Confrontational tech who refuse to announce themselves before they come Feel that if they leave a voicemail with a time range that means it’s OK for them to come even though I never confirm the time. So I don’t allow them to come without my confirmation so they have a problem with it and I feel that is being held against me because I’ve been told that the technician has to be the one to make a decision as to whether or not the stove is changed for another

Conn's Home Plus Terrible technician

Me and my wife are about to have our first baby we are 21 & just got out first mortgage together. My washer started to leak and cause water damage all over my new home. So the tech can out said their wasn’t anything wrong it’s the plumber who needs to come down here. Well that same tech has been too my house 5 different times after ordering the parts to fix my washer and it is still not working properly. This is so unexpected after the first 4 times. We will never do business with Conns again.

Conn's Home Plus Call center agents

I want to file this complaint due to multiple managers offering refinance on my account and me asking and me being 30 days late in the first place and then an agent did a skip to pay and now I am ineligible for the option and every time I file a case they gave me the same resolution when multiple managers told me that I could redo this for it to be late and it would resolve in 72 hours and I would have a manager call me back I never got a call back every time I ask for the call back they don't call and every time I do call the agents are super rude asking what do I want or doing things on my account without my permission and I feel like that's a part of cpni is it's my personal information they are using yet but got told that it was just the system the other managers told me that it was a agent I want all my calls pulled due to the fact that I don't understand that managers cannot do callbacks they have lied and completely didn't do anything to that agent that touch my account without my knowledgment you guys put so much stress on me and my family due to the fact that you guys keep calling me when I'm just requesting one call back for me to be able to refinance it like the manager told me to auntie be able he promised the amount that was promised and I would like the 300-plus calls Friday to pay my bill when I'm asking for a manager to fix my account but they can't even call me back about that I have answered all their calls and said hello and it's someone do every single time I have contacted the billing department customer service customer relations and they've all said the same thing besides billing

Desired outcome: I want was told that would happen. I want to refaince !t account for the amount that that manger promised than lied about
