My daughter recommended cook to me, I called and had them come out, I called them a few days later to changed the Visa change my Visa card on file for future payments. In between I discovered that the spider webs was never touched around my home. So I called to cancel my service and requested a full refund. To my dismay they had also failed to change the card and they refunded the wrong Card. I called Cooks a. Am waiting for a call back.

Cooks customer service is non existent
Cooks customer service is non existent. There is no office with anyone answering that phone number. I get an old lady at an answering service who knows very little. I find out they have switched my billing to email only. I never agreed to that or asked for that. They come at all different times, no warning about servicing. I am ready to totally cancel this contract. I don't care if termites eat up my house. It is a brand new home, I am very old. By the time they damage the house, I'll be dead and my kids can deal with it.
Cooks cancelled my account because of late payment
Cooks cancelled my account because of late payment. I tried to set up automatic payments but the system kept closing me out. I had a tech that came to my house that was just leaving a bill. I found that out because I have cameras on my house. they replaced him with someone new and I didn't have that issue again other than the tech showing up and not calling. I have issues with spider webs in my garage but they cant take care of that or even spray in the garage because they make sure to come to your house when no one is home. How *** convenient . So even though my payments were late at times, I always paid my account and made it current. Cooks didn't think to ask, hey Mr. are you experiencing any financial issues. We have notice that your account is being paid at a later time then normal. Nope they just get upset and cancel my service. Cool, word of mouth will get around better than closing an account. Never could get a real person on the phone either, always some old lady from a call center I assume. I should have listen to my friends and went to *** but nope my wife wanted Cooks.

Cooks pest control account #XXXXXX I had a credit of $84.00 on account on 04/29 no service was provided on 5/17 and 06/18 but was charged. I also made a service call in July about ants in kitchen again no reply so I canceled service. I called to asked about refunding my $84.00 on 08'23/21 and 08/26 no response as of 08/27. I would like my fund's refunded and letter of apology totally unacceptable for service received. All payments were made in advance and months ahead of service all the time no excuse.

Again today we received an invoice for payment of services that have not been rendered
Again today we received an invoice for payment of services that have not been rendered. Written and verbal notification has been sent previously. In order for services to be rendered by Cook's someone has to be notified for entrance to be provided. We have not seen or heard from any technicians since January . We continue to receive invoices. Our contract with Cook's is also expired and we have not been contacted for renewal. We have called and sent written correspondence about this problem with no avail. We have requested an invoice with a $0 balance. We will not pay for services not rendered.

I had service from Cooks Pest Control on 04/24. They placed mouse traps in my attic and crawlspace. They were supposed to come back in 2 weeks and check the traps. I've called the office 2 times to have them come out and remove or check the traps on 05/18 and 05/25. I was told the person that should handle my property will call me back to schedule an appointment. I never heard from anyone. They had me sign a 1 year contract for service and they're not honoring the contract Their customer service is horrible.
On April 9 I paid Cook's Nashville $670.20 for a year's worth of service. On May 28 I canceled service verbally & in writing. They have since refused to respond to emails regarding a refund of unused services.
I have started receiving invoices for the services that were never provided to me
I have started receiving invoices for the services that were never provided to me. For last few weeks I have called your company at XXX-XXX-XXXX to talk to someone who can help me. I have also said that since I am working from home I might not be able to pick up the phone right then so please leave me a message and I will call right back. I have not heard anything from anyone. I also told them that I don't want the service or will modify it. You tell me how I can do any of this if no one call me. My last call was on Monday (8/2) where I talk to a lady and she told me that no notes were made in the system regarding my calls. She also said that someone will call me. I have not heard anything since then.

I cancelled my service in November ,I am still being billed and they have now turned it over for collection
I cancelled my service in November ,I am still being billed and they have now turned it over for collection. My service was taken monthly from my checking account. November I called the Albertville office and cancelled my service because they Never came in my house to spray. December they came and I refused service stating that I no longer had their service. He stated that he did not show that I cancelled, I still refused service. I placed a stop payment on my account that same day. The very next day they tried to debt my account. They then started billing me, and have now turned it over for collection. No one at that office does one thing that you call them about, they have also done the same thing to my 90 year old mother-in-law. Is this done to everyone that tries to cancel service?

In Nov 2019 we signed up for termite stoppage at $186. a year. I thought but they took $165. from my card and $67. a month till end of May . We have had zero service because of the huge amount of rain here close to Deasler, TN and the pandemic. No fault of their as they could not get under our house and no fault of ours. I have called them to refund our $450.00 that they took out of my credit card and they said No. They said their 20 green things were worth $450.00 and they will come out and take them back.

Failed to get rid of a rodent problem I hired Cook pest control around August to handle a rodent problem at my mom 's home ,the put grates on the outside of her crawl space and did some pea gravel near a drainage ditch. BUT they did not try to find spaces inside the house where the could be coming in. all the guy did was come to the house with his feather duster and take of cobwebs from outside set some traps which didn't catch anything HE SAID he put boxes around the house to catch the rodents which was a lie I had to solve my own problem and got it under control myself then they had the nerve to want to use my home for training purposes. I SAID NO! and the said I'd have to pay a cancellation fee. DO NOT USE THEM! Why would send someone who doesn't know what he's doing? ?THOROUGHLY DISSATISFIED!

we had a agreement for cooks pest control to come out every month
we had a agreement for cooks pest control to come out every month. They didn't come out during the month of June. Matt was supposed to come, but no one came. yet they want us to pay for the month. We continued to pay for the following months after when someone came. They continued to ask for the $41 for the month missed. Now we received a statement in 12/1 after we cancelled the service talking to Matt. We even asked them to give us proof that some one came and they didn't do it. No one could find any information saying they came out. that was why we cancelled the service because they insisted us to pay for that month. We have problem with roaches and it requires some one to come in and take care of the bugs. My wife is here and no one called her that they are coming, and no one came to the door She would write on the bill that she was not paying the month in question. Account_Number:

We are homeowners that have used this company for pest control and termite protection for over 30 years which also included termite inspection
We are homeowners that have used this company for pest control and termite protection for over 30 years which also included termite inspection quarterly. We have had termite infestation in the past and thought that this company repaired the damage. We had our siding replaced and our contractor found many areas that have had termite damage. He took pictures and we contacted the company. He had to replace the crumbling lumbar to proceed and in fact the areas they have said they will pay a small amount for repairs have not yet been done which has been over a month. The company did send a contractor and the district manager after many calls and repeatedly being told they will not pay for this repair because we broke contract because we had it repaired. The fact is if it had been repaired at the time we had the termite infestation and repaired correctly not just covered up and inspected as it was supposed to have been we would not be in this situation

I have had service with Cooks since July
I have had service with Cooks since July . It was a 1 year contract to remove an infestation of roaches in the house. We were told after they came out and did the initial inspection that they normally take 4-6 months to remove the roaches. This went on for almost 2 years worth of service which we were paying every month for their treatment. When it was time for our treatment in July I called their office to inform them my wife had Covid-19 (She's a nurse) and we were in quarantine. The Covid ended up going through my whole family with us being in quarantine for end of July and all of August. When I called to have them come back out in September now that we were healthy, we were told our service was cancelled because they can only suspend service for 1 month. I feel like we spend 2 years worth of service for nothing. We still have roaches that was NEVER cleaned, even though their contract guarantees it. I feel discriminated against due to us having Covid.

I am being charged for services I did not request and was not notified of prior to day of service
I am being charged for services I did not request and was not notified of prior to day of service. I talked to cook's one month ago and no response. I purchased a new home and closed on 04.30. At the time of closing a new termite services contract was obtained and the former company was terminated. I was contacted later by the new service company and a home visit date and time was arranged. Meanwhile, on approximately 12/23 the former termite service company reportedly proceeded to the former address, which has a new owner and provided service there. There was no notification or request for service that I or the new owner received requesting permission to proceed. Sometime later, I received a bill for services rendered. No bill on the day of service was ever received by me. I gave this information to *** on 01/25 and yet on today's date, she states the contract still was not cancelled. I have yet to receive a call back from any management representative, which was promised. *** did not appear to be very knowledgeable about the billing process except to tell me that I owed the bill.

Rodent invasion while under pest control contract that includes rodent invasion We have an established contract with Cooks Pest Control for almost 2 years. They come out monthly to spray and check for pests and we also have a Termite Bond with Cooks. While under Cooks watch we became infested with rats. We have rodents in both of our crawl spaces, damage to our duct work and damage to seven outside vents where the rodents chewed there way into the crawl space. Cooks comes out monthly and failed to notice any vent damage and/or evidence of rodents. It wasn't until we began hearing them that we called. I am dissatisfied with the customer service that we have received. Cooks missed SEVEN damaged vents on their watch. Cooks is expecting us to pay for damages that rodents caused when it states on their website and in our contract that they cover rodents. Rodents which Cooks failed to notice while under contract with them. Cooks has agreed to remove the rats (no charge) but does not feel that they owe it to us, as a customer, to pay for the damage that they missed. As an established customer we should not pay for any rodent damage.

I called to have my service cancelled with them due to lack of service
I called to have my service cancelled with them due to lack of service. Was told my account was cancelled. I got charged for services after cancelling I called to have my service with Cook's cancelled due to lack of service. Was told my account was cancelled and I should not receive any more charges. I noticed they had charged my account this morning. I called to try and resolve and was told that I could not cancel until August. I was not told this the first time I called to cancel and was under the impression that my service had been cancelled per what I was told. I do not understand how I was told my account was cancelled and now the story has changed to I cannot cancel unless I pay a cancellation fee. That was not explained to me when I initially called to have my account cancelled, and was re assured that they had successfully cancelled my account. The technician responsible for servicing my house had not been for 6 months and finally came in January after I had raised some concerns about not receiving service. I should not be responsible for these charges considering that I was told my account was cancelled and no further charges should be billed out to my account.

I have received my May bill and I have been charged for service that have not been completed at either resident
I have received my May bill and I have been charged for service that have not been completed at either resident. I have had this problem with Cooks sending a bill even though they have not provided a service. This happened at the being of the year even though I have asked them to call before coming out to either property. Due to the current COVID -19 issues I do not want anyone coming out without calling for their protection due to my job. I have two termite contracts with them and the person coming out has not checked all the traps in months to a year either location. I know the this because they are covered by grass or in flower beds where they placed them and we uncovered them this year intently for them. They allegedly came out to pest on 5/13 and 05/29 for termite at XXXXX and 05/29 for termite only at XXXXX and someone was home at both locations on those occasions and we never saw Cooks, received a phone stating that they were coming and they did not leave a statement of services performed. My account number XXXXXX. This is not the first time I have been reported to the credit bureau for not paying my bill before even though they did not service my house or they stated that I did pay a bill I keep poor records but decided this year to keep up with all payments and the same events have been happening. I do not think it is hard to call and schedule an appointment to come out to render service especially this day in age.

There are rats in my attic that are causing issues with plumbing leaks
There are rats in my attic that are causing issues with plumbing leaks. I notified Cooks about the issue and it remains unresolved. My account number with Cook's Pest Controlis XXXXXX. I have a contract for residential pest control since approximately 2014. I moved my service from my Jacksonville house when I moved to my current residence in 2017. I notified my technician J.D. of the rat problem on or about October. He put out some rat poison and some glue traps. I also let him know on several occasions (I do not have specific dates) that we were still having problems with the rats. He was very courteous and put out rat poison and/or glue traps at my request. My husband fixed several plumbing leaks in the attic due to rats chewing on the plumbing lines in 2019 and 2020. Recently, (on or about December 22) I called the Cook's office to put in a service call about the rats again, because I had to hire a plumber to fix plumbing in the attic that was damaged by the rats. In the past two weeks I have had to call out plumbers on three separate occasions because the rats damaged the plumbing. I called Cook's Pest Control today (January 02 @ 12:47pm) asking them to come out and take care of the rat problem. The gentleman on the phone said that he was an hour and a half away so he couldn't come out but a supervisor would call me on Monday. Since I am under contract for pest control and the pests are damaging my plumbing, I believe that it is reasonable for Cook's Pest Control to reimburse me for my most recent plumbing costs.

Harassing, incompetent, and intimidating practices
Harassing, incompetent, and intimidating practices. Had an ant issue and tried to request quarterly service through Cook's online. There was an issue trying to put my payment in online as it wouldn't let me put a separate service and billing address. The corporate woman I talked to on the phone was too worried about getting my card info to realize that I was trying to tell her I had a separate billing address. She then got irritated because I gave her my card number and my husband had originally applied using his name, so the names on the card didn't match the account. I verbally spelled out my name for her only for her to email over DocuSign papers with the wrong name on them. We decided we weren't going to sign the documents and we would go elsewhere. I am not interested in doing business with a company that cannot even listen to what I am saying beyond their monetary gain. They showed up last week without even confirming with us or us signing the contract. We told them that we were no longer interested in using their service. They have blown my phone up all week during the day while I'm busy. My husband got into contact with them yesterday and again explained that we were not interested in their services anymore. He was hung up on at the local office. Then as my husband was at work today the same man from last week showed up while I am here alone with my young children and proceeds to bang on my door in an angry manner and peep through my windows. I didn't feel comfortable opening the door to him at this point and my husband was headed in for lunch anyways. My husband got here and again explained that, as we had told the same man last week, we aren't interested in their services. He proceeded to argue with my husband and tell him that he had talked to my landlord yesterday and he said to come. Which is a blatant lie considering they talked to my husband not the landlord, and we are directly paying for pest control while our landlord reimburses us. I have not signed the contract, I have not once let them past my front door, and there have been zero services rendered. I want them to stop harassing me by phone and having angry men showing up at my house unannounced while I'm alone with my children.

We hired Cook's Pest Control to treat our home for bed bugs in February
We hired Cook's Pest Control to treat our home for bed bugs in February . It is now May and the problem is worse. We hired Cook's Pest Control to treat our home for bed bugs in February. It is now May and the problem is worse. We were advised by Cooks that the job is complete because they did the initial visit and three follow-ups as per the contract. We were initially told that Cook's would treat the baseboards throughout the home, disassemble beds to treat inside crevices, and powder would be placed inside the walls, and our couches would be taken to the "hot box" to kill remaining bugs. They did not disassemble bedding or other furniture nor treat baseboards as there is no evidence of the chalky substance left behind after treatment near the baseboards. After the couches were treated in the "hot box" and returned on March 19th, my husband complained numerous times via text and verbally to Austin, a supervisor, that we were still infected. We sent a photo evidence of bed bug bites via text. We were advised by Austin that we needed to, "sleep on the couch to further draw them out." On March 20th, we spoke with Donny, another manager, who stated that my husband needed to sleep on the couch to "draw them out." Note: The bed bugs never left the couch, therefore we concluded the couches were never placed into the hotbox as agreed upon. The problem persisted so we called the office several times, and never received a call back from anyone who could rectify the situation. We were eventually transferred to supervisor David who said that the job had been completed. David stated, "We looked and didn't find any bed bugs" despite having been sent photo evidence that we were still infested AND inspectors failing to find them on the INITIAL inspection twice when we suspected we had them. Note: We were also accused that we "must have done something to reinfect ourselves." We assured everyone multiple times that we have had no visitors in our home since December and we have not entered into a public space, other than stores for necessities. We work from home and homeschool the children, so there was no opportunity for reinfection. We have also been finding bed bugs in another bedroom, and they are coming from the baseboards and outlets and crawling up the walls. We have also found bedbugs near our stairs. After numerous failed attempts to remedy the bed bugs with the local Huntsville office, I placed a call to Cook's corporate office in the third week of May and we then received a call from David stating that they would, "help us out, and re-treat the home." Initially we agreed to let them re-treat because we desperately wanted the problem to be resolved, however, we have lost confidence in Cook's ability and willingness to treat the situation efficiently. The initial treatments and follow ups were not done to their specifications or contractually for bed bugs or monthly services. The timeline is as follows: Mid January- Initial inspection, missed bed bug infestation Feb.- second inspection, missed bed bug infestation Feb.- Confirmed bed bugs Feb. 13- Service initiated, payment rendered in the amount of $1,300, first treatment Feb. 20- First follow up Feb. 27- second follow up Mar. 6- Furniture paced into hot box and follow up Mar. 19- Couches brought back and still infested Mar. 20- Referred to Donny and advised the bed bugs need to be "drawn out". We were advised to sleep on the couch by Austin and Donny, both supervisors. Mar. 20- Submitted picture evidence of bed bug bites Apr. 21- Submitted picture evidence of bed bug shell found in son's hair May- Contacted Cooks several times because no change in occurrence of bed bugs in the couch/bedroom, no call back May 15- Submitted picture evidence of bed bug bites and bed bugs May 18- Contacted corporate office in Decatur May 19- Advised Cook's would re-treat home We never signed off on the final paperwork stating the job had been completed We never signed off on the final paperwork stating the job had been completed because we were never alleviated of the problem.

Cooks customer service is non existent. There is no office with anyone answering that phone number. I get an old lady at an answering service who knows very little. I find out they have switched my billing to email only. I never agreed to that or asked for that. They come at all different times, no warning about servicing. By the time they damage the house, I'll be dead and my kids can deal with it.
