rude cashier
I recently went to Costco in Wharton, NJ to purchase over 400 dollars worth of goods. I was told by the Cashier Walter F. That my card was expired. I asked him to try another card and he answered me in a very rude tone. I'm a retired senior citizen. A little politeness would go a long way. Maybe he needs anger management. I don't think I'll be visiting this store anytime soon.
pharmacy department shorting my prescription of methotrexate repeatedly.
Repeatedly in 2018 the Spokane Valley Pharmacy has been substituting preservative free methotrexate for my normal methotrexate. My normal methotrexate I can get 2 injections from each vial. However the vials without preservatives I can only get 1 injection per vial.
With each substitution I am only getting 2 vials requiring multiple lengthy calls and another visit to pick up the additional 2 vials to complete my monthly needs.
This month has beyond aggravation. Again 2 vials short of preservative free. Called and was told there was no supply that day and I told them we would be by in Friday to pick up the 2 vials. No vials when my husband went to pick it up. Then I called again this week to pick up the 2 vials and have missed my normal dose day. Said we would be there on Thursday. Thursday the pharmacy said we could not pick up until Friday.
I was charged for 4 doses and only received 2 repeatedly. Multiple calls and visits without problems being resolved.
Without weekly injections my autoimmune disease is NOT controlled causing serious consequences.

I purchased the patio furniture online from Costco in March. My wife recently passed and we scheduled a memorial service for her at our house in May. The furniture was delivered in April, the top of the fire table was shattered.
I called Costco who informed me that the product is from RST brands and they have nothing to do with it. They gave me a number to contact RST. I called RST and they blamed Costco and the delivery people. I went back and forth doing everything I could to have the broken piece delivered and assembled with no luck. Not one of the companies will take responsibility for the issue and they all pass the buck to the other. Costco told me the RST Brand often sends broken pieces or sets without all of the parts, RST claimed Costco should handle the situation because that is where I bought the set and the shipping company claims they received the item broken and have tried and tried to get the new part without any luck. Today - May 18th the set still sits on my patio in boxes. I called the shipping company and they said they have had no luck getting any info from RST or Costco. I called RST, the women (Jessica) said they had no notes or info about my issue and her records showed the piece was delivered without issue. I called Costco who said its an RST Brand issue even though I bought it on Costco.com and nothing they can do about... "sorry but that's how it works". I have put 8-10 hours into this, I had 6 big RST boxes on my patio during my wife's memorial service and 2 months after I placed the order I still have no idea what to do to resolve the issue. I plan to post on every social media (with pictures) and every site until one of these companies takes responsibility. I tried to buy something for the older guests at my wife's memorial service to sit in and I ended up with a part time job and huge boxes on my patio while grieving my wife's passing. Thanks Costco, I mean RST or... well you tell me.

I was mis-sold a protection plan for my iphone, which I purchased at the Okotoks store after being assured that up to 4 handsets could be replaced for ANY reason within the 2 year term, with next day delivery, and at a cost of $50. Immediate replacement was the only reason I agreed to purchase the plan, since I require my phone for work. I bought the phone on August 19 2016 and have dropped it, so need a replacement. After a lengthy online process (not the short phone call I was assured was all it took) I am now being charged $80 and I am informed that a replacement will only be mailed out AFTER my old handset has been received and inspected! This is in stark contrast to the assurances I was given upon purchasing the plan, and I will be seeking further advice regarding fraudulent selling of this plan. You cannot sell a product by giving misleading and inaccurate information to the purchaser.
use of lift trucks prohibited from loading vehicles
4/15/18 store 1277 2:39pm truck loaded at 3:00pm. [protected] / [protected] I purchased a 500+ lb. Honeywell generator mounted on a pallet with auto switch panel included at your East Lansing store Sunday at 3pm. It weighs more than what your employees are allowed to lift but yet the manager on site that day said we must hand load it in my pickup truck. I already have a damaged tailgate I explained and did not care if he bumped the truck with his lift truck. I kindly explained to him I've been disabled with 5 ruptured discs inoperable in my lower back and just had a titanium hip installed 2months ago I should not lift anything heavy. I also explained to him i am parked in Handicap spot #3 because of my disabilities. Did not matter still forced to hand lift into truck with only he and I on my side. He was much shorter than I and did not give proper lifting commands to lift on 3. The other side lifted first shoving all the weight on me smashing my left hand onto the tailgate also leaving me a half a foot short of the tailgate height. As I gave it all I had a disc popped on my lower right side and I screamed out to set it down. At that moment someone else ran up and shoved me aside to accomplish the mission. What a joke, lift truck on site to pull it from top of rack but refuse touse it to load in fear of damaging a vehicle overharming people. I've been laying awake at night in severe pain exploring my options. The lack of concern you have for customers over profits is sickening. The manager clearly saw my wife back out of the 3rd handicap spotwith the placard hanging from the mirror. You should seriously reconsider selling heavy items in the future. My lower back is severely damaged because of your managers greed for a bonus. His stupidity is inprecenndted I seriously doubt this is policy and don't understand his reasoning. He stated he is new from another store South and caught a lot of flack for ordering to much patio furniture with the snow still flying and temps below freezing. He is not mangement material, his short stature was obvious when he first saw my truck and made a comment about how tall it was. It is a factory suspension he obviously saw It as a challenge as I took on all of his weight when the generator tipped in my direction after his lift commands were lacking and out of sync with the others closest to the main entrance. I had a loader at home to unload and hookup for pending ice storm. Instead it sits in the barn still on pallet. My wife saw and witnessed my hand get smashed, all the weight get shifted to me and the pain in my face as I tried to set it down when the others continued to lift.

chicken boneless legs and thighs
After purchasing the six package of Kirkland boneless legs and thighs, I opened two packages today in order to marinate and grill them. To my surprise, instead of usual four to five WHOLE pieces, I found grape-sized chunks (more than half of one package). I am unable to go to Costco Gaithersburg store (#213) tonight to complain in person, and will not feel comfortable carrying raw pieces of meat to Costco personnel.
This is my first ever complaint (having been Price Club member in the 1990s, and presently Costco member #[protected] since 08/2001.
Otherwise a satisfied customer.

Used the spray to coat a pyrex glass baking dish I used to bake a turkey breast in an oven bag.
Turkey breast was great, however, I have not been able to remove the brown, gummy residue from the baking pan. Used ajax cleanser, brillo pads, metal scouring...you name it...gunk still there.
I will try gasoline next because that is the only solvent I can think of to
clean the dish.
I've cooked for years and I've been a Costco member for years...what is in that spray? and when is the Costco elf going to show up and clean the dish.
Returned the spray, but that does not solve the gunk problem.
Please advise.
bbq outside set. lack of warranty and product support
I bought this large item BBQ set from Costco needed three people to load in a truck and unload at my home and assemble. Once connected to gas and all done I found a door for the smoker compartment will not close the magnetic catch not working. There is a phone number given in the brochure for help I called that number and their help was they don't repair take back to the store. Costco said same bring back and get money back. Imagine finding three people and a truck again to carry this back to Costco. I wish they had replaced the door. Looks like I am going to be stuck with this defective product.
harry's shepards pie
I usually do not make complaints about products...however this one was so bad I had to say something. If I get a ready made meal I should not have to assemble it myself. The taste is awful! We have had many shepards pies in many different places and this was truly the worst. The texture alone was appalling! How do you make something runny and yet have no sauce? The sodium level gave everyone in my family a headache, and that was after only having 1/2 the serving size ! Do NOT get this product. You might as well make it yourself even if you are the worst cook in america you could do a better job. This was a horrible representation of Shepards Pie, I hate to even say it was trying to be.
carpet kiosk, shaw carpet in toledo store
We are on the 3rd Shaw carpet install for steps and hall. Inspectors said first 2 were defective, but this last, 3rd install was different. Seam looks same as defective carpet did. Independent inspector said that seam not matching, then he had to add addendum to change it after a Shaw rep spoke to him. How is that honest, good customer satisfaction? So we send email asking that question and now you want to refund us and say can't fix it as we chose it and should have known it would be that way. Then send a Hush Agreement! How insulting, frustrating, and stressful. These buyers of Shaw carpets defend their purchases of defective carpet and won't give us CEO, or VP of kiosk sales contact info. I'v never had such a terrible purchasing experience! My wife in her late 60s purchased carpet many times b4 and never had so many problems and such poor customer service. No appology, no justice. We just want to deal with the executive team so they can make this right, it's been a year with mistakes from the beginning to end of this purchasing experence! Your buyers in carpet have numerous pictures and emails from my wife. Bet our file is pretty thick! employee unethical behavior
Elizabeth kairuz of Costco is a very unethical employee. I have no other option as other people sweep her behavior under the rug. She constantly lies about all of the employees to cause chaos outside of work. She bribes employees and gives things away for free and disrupts the entire morale of the company. She even went so far as to threaten an employee with a naked picture of her that she got from one of her husbands friends Alberto that slept with the girl if she went forward to the higher ups with all of her stealing and lying. Please someone stop her.
roasted chicken
I've purchased the roasted chicken a few times and have been very disappointed and grossed out when I'm taking the chicken apart to find that the inside is full of noticeably full of thick fat and not fully cooked on the inside. The first time it happened I let it go as I thought sometimes you just get a bad one but this is the third time and to be honest with you I didn't have time to take action but now that its happened one too many time I had to write in and let you know of my concern. I love the look of the chickens on the display counter and smell great and even took the time to watch one day the process of how they load them on the skewers and put in oven and even when they check the internal temperature of the chicken and they do look well roasted. Now i'm left to shop elsewhere for my chicken and ask where the chicken is from and what they are fed with. I love Costco and i'm sure you will take care of this matter.

I opened my membership as of 12/2016, finding out today per your automated voice greetings when calling your 1-800 number that customers would get their 2.5% cash back within 2 months prior to your renewal membership so in my case that would have been 10/2017...I'm still waiting on it. Been to the Los Feliz store in Los Angeles, CA 3 times since beginning of this year to request the refund, last time was on 3/28 on which I was told that was going to receive a gift card and an email to confirm such request, again still waiting on both items. Today, frustrated I decided to call, the person who answered heard my story and decided to put me on hold without even taking my name for 32 minutes, unbelievable! 32 minutes later Saby picked up the call, I told the story again but this time I did ask for a name first...(lesson learned) finally a person who at least said that they were sorry for the inconvenience. I asked to talk to a manager and told my story for the third time...Beto was the person at the other end listening my story. I wonder what kind of training Costco employees received, if any seriously! Again the only person who felt sorry for the whole situation was Saby, I wonder if they have a clear mind as to what customer service really means. Anyway, at the end of the day, nothing was resolved as now I have to wait again for another 3-6 weeks and hope that I get something in a near future by mail.

I am not pleased with your fontana warehouse. They made me feel stupid and like I am wasting their time. I work 6 12 hour shift a week and I stop by there before heading to work. Well I didnt know my card expired 3 days ago. I asked if I can still get the 1 bag of dog food and I will be back friday to pay for the membership. Pls note I buy between 2 ro 4 bags a month along with other supplies this last year. I didnt have my cards with me and only had enough to pay for the dog food. I make it a habit to not bring money or cards to work. I have been robbed before. Anyways the teller made me feel like [censor]. And gave me an attitude and looked at me like I am trash and trying to steal. Geeze. Anyways I have decided to no longer do business with you. I also rescue dogs and will not refer the kirkland brand dog food anymore. I have never been so humiliated and been treated so poorly before.

I came to Costco Warehouse to spend my credit card bonus check which is about Costco ViSA creidt card and can only be used or cashed at Costco warehouses but They gave me another check instead as they do not carry enough cash. If I was going to be given another check why did I receive a check that can only be cashed at Costco warehouses in the first place?
This is both wasteful of time/money and inconsiderate customer service. That seems to be Costco's new customer attidute.

On top of discontinuing the best cheddar in the western hemisphere, you switched it out for a doppelganger. WE ARE NOT FOOLED!
I tried to be open minded: Costco is awesome and I wanted to give the new "comes in black plastic and is labeled as extra sharp" cheese a real chance. The first sign of trouble was when I was able to fold. FOLD. the first slice. Dignified cheese does not fold. Folding is for "American cheese food product" or the dreaded Velveeta. The flavor and texture were about what you'd expect of a cheese that folds.
Whatever Cabot did to offend you, please forgive them. The new black plastic wrapped "sharp" (derisive snort) cheese is a vastly inferior product. We're counting on you to do what you do best: Have awesome stuff at great prices. I have attached a photo of the correct cheese and the impostor. Please do the right thing here.
Why? Why change something good and is working? Now I have to go around and search for an almost close to my all time favorite Cabot brand three year old cheddar. I found one at a Whole Store in my area. Is that what Costco wants to do? Get their customers looking at other stores?
credit card fraud
I bought items from the internet (not Costco) using my Citibank-Costco card). I returned the items apparently not soon enough. They sent more and I returned them also, stating not to send more. I also called these 2 businesses. They stopped sending anything, however, continued charging my acct. and apparently sent my credit card info. to 2 other unscrupulous businesses (LLC's) who charged my card about 30 more times. I called Citibank to report these fraudulent charges and some were reversed and I changed my credit card number thinking the charges would stop. However, Citibank still allowed these crooks to continue charging. I called again and they sent me papers stating they believed the LLC's instead of me and allowed more charges! The papers they submitted were completely bogus-the phone number they used was for the original company, which I called and they didn't even know what product these people were charging me for. I never ordered this product or know what it is, let alone received it. There are 11 charges made on the SAME day but posted over and over! I am still being charged even though I've complained to Citibank. Citibank is an unscrupulous bank (as indicated by the Jarrod Kushner debacle). I sure wish Costco had chosen a better bank! I ordered a pizza and was told it could take up to 40 minutes. The crowd of about 8 people waiting for food came and went in about 10 minutes and new customers came. They received their pizzas while I was told that my window to pick up my pizza was at 5:40 and it would be ready then.
pharmacy manager attitude
I understand everyone has a Job to do and with the HIPAA laws everybody has to be in compliance. I am not upset that I have to follow the rules. I am upset when an employee is rude and condescending. This is the second instance I have went into Costco pharmacy and this manager Tracy Walls has been so rude. There's no replacement for common decency and kindness to people.
citibank / costco credit card
I just canceled my Citibank Costco card. Citibank placed me on paperless billing without my knowledge. I am a corporate customer that need to save all invoices, etc for tax purposes, I require paper receipts.
Because I did not receive a statement, I did not make a payment resulting Citibank calling me and explaining the delinquency. I paid the entire bill which I did not realize had a $33 late payment and they increased the card's interest rate.
I enjoy Costco very much but will no longer do business with Citibank / Costco credit. I have worked hard to have a very good credit rating to have a sub par company create policies designed to save them money but create problems for their customers. Please work with Citibank to stop this practice.
