Tutor Account Disabled
On 16th August, course hero sent me an email stating my tutor account has been disabled due to violation of section 2 and 3. I have looked into their terms and it says section 2 and 3 is regarding fraudulent activities. I am certain I haven’t conducted anything fraudulent in violation of any terms. When i asked to know more details and proof they ghosted me. I even had a balance of 300$ in my account when they closed it and never paid it to me. When i wrote a comment on their LinkedIn post about this matter they gave me an automatic response and deleted my 2nd reply on that post. I have no idea how this company is standing after doing such fraudulent activities itself!
Desired outcome: I would like an explanation and apology from this company. I also want my payment of the balance i had in my account.

Failing to comply to takedown requirement

Suspended my tutor account outright, embezzled my money.
I have been working on CourseHero for about a year with a continuous on average 100% Helpful rate with no plagiarism and anything.
Suddenly on Aug 19, 2022, They permanently disabled my tutor account along with my money in it.
I never ever did any plagiarism and honestly answered all the student's questions with detailed explanations. Yet the company deems to disable by account on the ground of violation of Course Hero’s Terms of Service.
Desired outcome: Please reinstate my account or at least provide my money in it. If you can't do it, then remove my answers from your portal and stop making money through it.

Removal of uploaded document
I have a uploaded a module given by our university professor without their consent on August 8, 2022 in course hero. The name of my professor is included in the document. I am afraid I'm violating my professor's privacy and her copyright infringement rights.
Desired outcome: I would like to remove the module I uploaded in course hero. Please take it down before my professor find it out.
My complaint has been resolved by the course hero compliance team in just a day. A piece of advice for others who has the same complaint as me. Reach out to the compliance team of course hero first before filing a complaint here. They will do assist you and solved your problem. Kudos to Course Hero Compliance Team. I do not know how to mark my complaint as resolved so I just wrote here.

Can't log in to my account
I was logged out of my account and I'm trying to log back but I keep getting "There was an error. Please try again" message for hours now. Inability to update PayPal email
Well, the company has been fair enough, but I guess it needs to work on its new policy which prevents tutors from updating their PayPal account should they encounter problems with their currently linked PayPal account.
Technically, this means that the individual tutor involved cannot withdraw their current earnings and is not able to proceed to answer further questions because there is no way to get their earnings going forward.
I agree with the need to put in place adequate controls on earnings withdrawal, which would ensure that no one is trying to be fraudulent, but I feel it is in the interest of equity and fairness that one is able to get rewards for work done.
I would advise they have quarterly windows through which tutors experiencing this kind of issue can get it resolved without having to lose their earnings or be indirectly taken off the platform.

I was conducting source materials checks for my book citations and discovered that Ch. 5 of my book has been uploaded to this company's website WITHOUT PERMISSION. Whoever uploaded the my work has done so ILLEGALLY. I've contacted their customer service who then emailed me a complaint form, but I have no idea how long this process takes. It needs to be removed immediately or I will consider legal action. The file was uploaded by a wendycate45 of Laikipia University (see attached). I have no idea who this is and how they accessed my files. It is saying there are over 15 pages of my book that have been uploaded! OUTRAGEOUS. I cannot see all of what was uploaded unless I register with the website, which I do not want to do for obviously reasons. How is this company allowing copyrighted materials to be uploaded without checks?!?
