We have ate at several of these restaurants all around and this way by far the worst experience yet. A lady had a dog with her all you could smell was stinky dog and we asked to move they said wasnt possible. I am allergic and so I was not able to eat well the meatloaf was dry and the okra was burnt the pintos was so thick you could have made a ball. My child pancake was so small I cut it up into 7 pieces that was it and they was both hungry when we left there. My husband's steak was so dry and hard he couldn't eat it. We are very disappointed we picked to eat here for fathers day and it was terrible.

My husband and I visited Cracker Barrel at445 Commercial Ct, Venice, FL 34292 on June 8. First a positive, the young waiter was great. My steak was overcooked, was asked if I wanted another one prepared. I said no for my husband and I prefer to eat together when on date night. I ate what came with my meal. Then we ordered dessert, I ordered coca cola cake, which came promptly. Unfortunately, my husband ordered banana pudding which did not. We waited 20+ minutes to never receive it. We were told by several employees including the manager it would be out soon. Very frustrated we left. Called manager, to tell her about our experience and her response was, next time she would give us a free dessert. HOW WOULD UT BE FREE IF WE PAID FOR IT AND NEVER RECEIVED IT? BAD FOOD, NO FOOD, MANAGER DONT CARE!
refused to fix my meal the way I asked
I ordered the chicken meal and I asked for all white meat. The waitress said we can't do that. I asked to talk to manager who also said no we can't do that. Your customers are the ones that got you where you are today, do they not mean anything anymore. I have eaten at this Cracker Barrel many times, but at this point I will probably not go back since I wa...

Cracker Barrel in Mt. Holly, NJ. Within a hour after eating an dinner of meat loaf, my wife began to have severe stomach cramps. Over the next 4 days she suffered severe cramping, diarrhea, vomiting and stomach pains as a result of the meat loaf not being thoroughly prepared. She had to visit urgent care shortly after returning home.
This lasted approximately 4 days. We contacted the store just to inform them, the manager apologized and took all the information. Shortly thereafter we were contacted by their risk management dept. not realizing that their purpose was to minimize our complaint and reducing it to nothing. Shame on them! we were not asking for any type of compensation. So we got a letter totally reducing our info to nothing. Basically downplaying my wife's illness as if iy never happened. Shame on them.
restaurant service
Yesterday, 6/9/19, my husband & I were seated at 11:35 a.m. at the Little Rock, AR, restaurant and ordered our food 5-10 minutes later. Two groups near us were seated 10 minutes after we were, got their food, ate, & left 20-25 minutes before we ever received our food. At that point we politely asked our server about our food. Manager came to our table and said he'd check on it. He came back and said management was on it...that they had a $1, 500 to-go order they were working on. Yet, others were being served in the restaurant.
We were served our food about about 12:20 p.m., which was 20 minutes after we first saw the manager. Needless to say, our lattes had been consumed long before our food came, which they knew. They should have automatically brought us two more, but they did not.
We believed the manager would take care of our meal, but to our surprise our server handed us the check. She was very nice, and we told her we did not blame her at all, nor would it impact her tip. We asked to speak to the manager. We told him we believed he should take care of our check because of the poor service. He said, no, that he didn't "have the authority to do that." What?! We left as very, very dissatisfied patrons. We will not go back unless there is rectification. Our receipt is attached.
Thank you!

Ordered through Wyndham door dash. I had a previous problem with this Cracker Barrel but figured they were having a bad day. Today I ordered chicken and dumplings with three sides green beans, mashed potatoes and fried apples. I also ordered 4 piece fried chicken dinner with fresh fruit and corn. I asked for jelly and apple butter to go with my two biscuits and two cornbread muffins.
I received my chicken and dumplings with the three sides, I received two of the four pieces of chicken, no fresh fruit and only one very small cornbread muffin. One. No biscuits no jelly or apple butter. The fried apples were 85% peels, the potatoes were hard.
I travel a lot and frequent Cracker Barrel many of those times. I don't have the time to take food back, call restaurants or argue about what is missing. This last episode tonight has really soured my stomach to eating at or referring anyone to these restaurants. Cracker Barrel restaurants used to be consistent, good food at a good price. Perhaps it is time to move on.
service
My daughter and 3 year old grand daughter, and I got to Cracker Barrel in Mt Holly, NJ at 8:41 p.m. this evening (25 May 2019). Our server took our orders. Mean while people to our right, left and in back of us came in the restaurant after us.
Everyone around us got their food except us. The server constantly walked passed us and never offered to replenish our drinks. I order ed the biggest stake they had. My daughter ordered chicken and dumplings and for the granddaughter bacon and eggs. The gentleman behind me was served steak and he sent it back and was served another not long after he sent the first one back. We sat there for just under an hour at 9:37 p.m. i asked to speak with the manager. She came out and I asked why hadnt we been served our food, and explained that we were there before everyone surrounding our area and that it has been almost an hour. The manager said she was going to speak to our server. The server came out and said that the steak i ordered was being prepared. I could not believe the poor treatment we were given. The manager never came back out to speak with us. So we asked for the bill for the one time drinks we got. The server said she had to check with the manager, the server came back to tell us, the manager said we didn't have to pay for the drinks. We left the restaurant. Although, we are African Americans, and the tables of the people who were served before us were all Caucasians. I am not saying that we were being shut out because of the color of our skin, however, I believe when we weren't served and it became an issue, The neighboring tables seemed a bit uncomfortable after we spoke with the manager.
My name is Karen Dalton Williams I can be reached at [protected]@yahoo.com or my cell phone number is [protected]. My address is 35 Dahlia street Browns Mills, NJ 08015. Your manager could use some training, and so can the server. I am baffled because the server kept walking pass us, and she never offered an excuse for the reason our meals had not been prepared, the entire time we were there. She never said anything or asked to replenish our drinks. My granddaughter never ate this evening because she fell asleep on the way home and we couldnt wake her, so we put her to bed.
Maybe they other tables were uncomfortable with your temper tantrum. You imply that you are not playing the race card, but the fact that YOU brought up skin color shows that you in fact are.

We eat here just about every Sunday for dinner and this past week was horrible. My step daughter always only gets the chicken n dumplings and they were very dry no juice at all. My breaded chicken tenders were still pink on the inside I only ate 1/2 of one left the other. The corn and okra were cold when the plate arrived and we spend a nice sum of money fod 4 ppl to eat for the food not to be hot! Very disappointed let alone just to say we threw away $50...😡

Re: Dinner at Store #502
On Saturday, April 27, 2019, I took my out of town guest to my Cracker Barrel restaurant for dinner. The restaurant is only less than 2 miles from my home, and I visit there often. I "usually" have no complaints until now! Arriving around 6 pm the restaurant was not too busy, the 4 of us was seated right away, our waitress, Monica D took our order. Only one of us ordered an entree, then other 3 ordered vegetables, we asked for corn muffins. Only a few minutes past and our order arrived. The entree on a plate, and all the veggies in bowls! Asking for 3 extra plates, she walked to kitchen, we began looking at the food, and tasting! COLD, mashed potatoes, my broccoli was almost a "lime green" color and almost rubbery, NO TASTE! Then there was the pinto beans, COLD and thick as pudding, I had to search for a bean! The collard greens, COLD and DRY no juice at all. Monica returned, I told her about our issues, she apologized and said they had other food issues all day! Oh, and the muffins were in the oven and it'll be at least another 10 minutes! I mentioned I might need to talk with a manager, she didn't offer to go find him. We picked a bite or two from the bowl and my sister ate a few bites of her meatloaf and said it was kinda, "soft tasting, " she didn't eat any of it except those 3 bites! We got up and left the table! I went to register to pay, as always the cashier asked if we enjoyed our meal? I said NO, and told him everything, he apologized but didn't offer any solution or to get the manager! I paid the check, turned to hear 2 ladies in line behind me complaining about their meal also! So...I said, I want to talk to the manager now! Myself and the other ladies stood together and waited. A young man walked up dressed in black shirt & black pants, I don't remember him saying his name, but he was the manager. We told it all, he apologized also, telling us he had issues with food prep all day, and that the wait staff is suppose to report issues to him and he didn't know anything about ours. He never offered to give us a refund or a gift card to come back to make things better! That's just good PR, right now I'm telling all my friends about how bad it was and how "EMBARRASSING" I was for bringing my out of town guest to experience such a bad meal ☹️
I sure hope IF I return to my area Cracker Barrel that things will be better!
Sincerely
Dee Kannon

My wife and I went to Cracker Barrel in Powdersville SC on Saturday April 20th. The food that we ordered was Terrible. The potatoes were cold, the dumpling was like water with the dumplings so thick they were hard to eat. Needless to say, my wife and I had to throw our food away. My wife and I have decided not to go to another Cracker Barrel. The last several times we have been the food wasn't good. Money wasted!
racial profiling
On April 21st 2019, me and my girlfriend are traveling back to VA from Atlanta GA. We stop at Cracker Barrel at 301 Exchange Way, Braselton GA at roughly about 11:45 am to grab something to eat. We go in put our name on the list and wait to be seated. We browse the store as we're waiting. We get called to be seated and the hostess takes us to our table. Soon as we sit down our waitress is right there to take our drink order which was great. I order coffee and my girlfriend gets sweet tea. We place our order and wait as she walks away. About five minutes goes by before we notice that she has not returned with the drinks. So we wait patiently. She finally comes back with several drinks on a tray. Now I know why she was right there to take our drink order, she had just taken the drink order of the party of 8 that was sitting across from us. Which worked out great. She passes out half the drink to the party of 8 first since they are sitting at 2 different tables. She then gives us the coffee and tea we ordered along with a bowl of creamer. At that point I noticed there was no regular sugar on our table so I asked her if she could bring some back, she acknowledged that there was none on the container and agreed to bring some back. She then turned and proceed to pass out the rest of the drinks to the other half of the party of 8. After passing out the drinks she goes back to the first half of the party of 8 and starts to take their food order. At that point I noticed what she was doing and decided to get some sugar packs off of a vacant table, instead of waiting for her to take everyone's order and then get the sugar and bring it back. I get up walk over to the table directly behind the first half of the party of 8 and grab all the sugar pack from the little container and sit back down. Side note the restaurant is full of people all the tables has someone at them. I show my waitress that I have the sugar and sit back down. She takes our order and we are patiently waiting for our food. Maybe about 10 minutes goes by and a manager no 3 managers a white Male and 2 Hispanic males come over to our table and starts telling me that some customers said I took money off of a table. At first I thought he(white Male) was joking but then he says "I'll give you the opportunity to make it right by giving it back". Now I'm really confused, so I asked him what are you talking about all I took off the table was some sugar packs. He proceeds to say well we don't want to get law enforcement involved you can just give it back. I'm looking at him like is this S**t really happening right now? He(white male) continues to tell me several people saw me go over to the table and pickup the money off the table. Now at this point I am furious, every bad emotion possible is running through me. So I say to the manager ok let's get the police involved because I know I DID NOT take anything off that table except some sugar. Now the Hispanic Male is saying we don't want to bring anymore attention to the situation I think it's just best you leave. I can't even explain how embarrassing this is becoming. I then ask the white Male manager if they have cameras, if they could check with the waitress for that table to see if she already picked up the money or if they could even check to see if there was any sugar in the container on that table to verify my side and they were like no we think it's best you just leave.
Now at this I am convinced that because a customer who was white assumed that because I was black and I went to a table to get some freaking sugar that I had to be stealing the tip, and because they could not be wrong my side of the events were not valid and we were publicly embarrassed and asked to leave the restaurant.
Please drop your race card.
breakfast bacon
I have complained for two years now at least to the same management about getting Non-Greasy limp bacon. It doesn't matter what time of day or NIGHT. Particularly, in the evening my wife and I like to have a breakfast meal. I get the same answer when I complain, "it's the cook won't change how he does it". I was in Douglasville, GA and I ordered the "Momma...

I have been buying this cheese for years..in the past month I have gotten 2 packs that had mold all over the bottom of the cheese.. One time I can deal with.. This isn't a cheap cheese and I use alot of it for lunches for my family.. Unfortunately I think I need to not buy it anymore.. It was purchased at a giant store.. Very upsetting.. I suppose I could take it back to the store and let them know they are selling moldy cheese.. I am sure I am not the only person who bought it
Food
I placed an order over the phone for pickup on 3/20/19 at Store#650 Valley Station, KY. Spent a little over $48.00 and the food was terrible. I live only 10 minutes away and when I got home with my meals everything was cold. I ordered the roast beef and it tasted so old. Even smelled old. Had to just throw it out. The order of dumplings were not even juicy...

My daughter Gabriella who is a server at your Cicero, NY restaurant and had a large table walk out on their bill tonight. The regional manager Gregg (she did not know his last name) used derogatory and foul language addressing the walk out with my daughter. He slammed a paper on the table and said sign this. Stated the walk out was all her "fing" fault and used our Lords name in vain as well. I thought Cracker Barrel had very high standards and values and this manager showed nothing but intimidation and disrespect that I have encouraged my daughter to end her employment. She is a college nursing student and it is shameful how this man treated her. She was so upset and shaken driving home and burst in to tears when she arrived home to us. This is unacceptable and such a poor example of leadership.
Unethical behavior
You have an employee, a cook/dishwasher/prep cook, that has been violating your terms for about a year or more. She blatantly arrives at work, proudly sitting in your parking lot, smoking or snorting her usual glory "candy" as she calls it. It is "Ice" or "Meth" as others know it. It used to be a combination of this candy and/or weed "Mary Jane" and "coke"...

On December 15, 2018, my boyfriend and I was told that as soon as they clear a table we would be seated. We saw about 10 people leave and noticed the lady that took our names had a co-worker standing there doing nothing but talking for at least 20 minutes. We were seated around 30 minutes of standing and saw several empty tables. We concluded that the lady...
