I am paying for a membership includes tanning & hydromassage however the location does not actually have the tanning beds or hydromassage chairs.

Staff was unable to communicate or understand what was being said, after repeatedly telling her a (M) was passing out in the restroom I (F) kept ruining in to check on him because she wouldn't get help. Grabbing a manger the first time (who's office is hidden out of sight) would've easily corrected the problem and she couldn't even do that. A manager came after I was able to help him up and out of the restroom and made it seem like we were the issue. Management showed no sympathy and treated us like we had no reason to be upset when their staff is negligent, we obviously don't feel safe at that gym anymore and decided to cancel.
change room and showers
The mens change room at this cruch location is absolutely vile. There is mold on all the shower curtains as well dirt hair and garbage in all the drains. I reported this to the front desk weeks ago and nothing was done. As of today I went in to the washroom stall and there was blood and urin all over the toilet seat and walls. I have already contacted the citys health ans saftey board.

I was told I could not cancel my gym membership by a employee from Crunch Fitnese he refused to give me his name and refused to transfer me over to his manager after repeatedly asking for his name. The very rude employee then stated i could email my request to cancel my gym membership. I then asked him to speak his manager he refused. I sat on the phone with this individual for more than 10 mins and he would not help me and just continued to argue with me. I then called back 1 hour later to speak to the owner David of Crunch La Mirada Fitness and he did not try to help me out with this situation he simply tried to rush me off the phone and said I cancelled your membership. He didn't ask me what happened when I had to call another gym and requested LJ a asst Manager to a Corona .CA gym to help me out with this matter. The owner told me heard what happened from another manager and he said he cancelled my membership. I told David the owner what are your plans in regard to this associate of training him on customer service with customers ? he said it's private and he then proceeded to get me off the phone with no additional help or apology. I am extremely upset, disappointed and baffled on how Crunch Fitness is being handled in La Mirada .CA. Horrible horrible and extremely horrible. I will move forward with 3rd party complaints with BBB, Yelp, Social outlets FB, IG, Google. I feel the owner of this gym is not representing Crunch Fitness to its fullest! It's a very unfortunate situation since I have been in the LA Mirada community all of my life and I will not or ever refer anyone to this facility because of the lack of care, response, and honesty that not being represented here. I would like to speak to someone at the corporate level so I can give my input on this matter before it goes viral and complaints are made.

I have tried to cancel my gym member ship for over a month and they got back to me a month later charging me for an extra 4 weeks and yet haven't canceled it. I was told that if I don't pay for it, the amount will accumulate until it is paid for and cancelled. on the management end it has been really irresponsible of them to not contact me via email and I had to call up constantly without an answer. it isn't fair on me to have to pay for a service I haven't access and given that my cancellation form has been submitted on the 14/6/2019. Really disgusted and disappointing on how useless staff and management has been at Mentone crunch fitness!

I am a customer since many years, and I wanted to bring to your att. an incident that happened to me on 19th of april at whasington ave location, miami each. I received a very abrupt email where I was accused of going to the gym without paying last and curren month, while my account resulted frozen for medical reasons.I am been going to the gym for the last 40 days and regularly using my clicker and as always when I do so, the monthly fee are charged to my account since the gym has my credit card on file. As soon I have received the above e mail, Ipersonally went to the gym to clarify my position and MS LINDSAY PROSPERO treated me in a very disrespectfull and rude way as if I had not paid on purpose. I cancelled my membership right then and there and motivated on the request of cancellation form. I sent the same e mail to the manager Tanya Savage, she don't send me any reply... belive a business of any type cannot afford to have such an unprofessional, rude and disrespectful employee

My son's account was charged the annual membership fee of 53.07 twice. He called on Monday (5/6/19) and was told at our local gym that his refund would be processed right away. Today (5/10/19) he called because he has yet to see the refund and was told it may take a week or longer. Local gym tells us to call corporate billing and billing says to contact our local gym. We call the local gym for the number to the corporate office and they said they don't have a number to the corporate office. Groceries need to be bought and bills need to be paid and he is out an extra 53.07 from his account. The fees are quick to be pulled out but why are they not quick to refund when it was "their" mistake? Can someone help with a corporate number?
cancellation procedure
I used the proper step of cancelling my membership a number of years ago. I had to provide a second cancellation letter because I was told it was lost. I recently checked my credit score and it shows that I owe $105 to Crunch Fitness. The second time I provided a cancellation letter to the manager on duty and had her sign a copy for me. I have attached a copy of the letter I submitted. Please remove this outstanding debt from my credit.

management style
I have been a member at Crunch for 4+ years and found that not only was it a welcoming environment but I also made friends including the trainers who are the reason I attend the classes. On May 2nd, 2019, I found out that both of my trainers left Crunch, one resigning and one being "let go". After talking with my friends and the trainers, I find it appalling that this situation happened and the manager didn't handle the situation appropriately. A fellow gym member was asked to move over to a different located because of a small group training class that was going to start by a trainer, Theresa. This member was in her face, yelling and cursing, not only at her but also at front desk staff. This member was not able to calm down or be deescalated by Theresa or other staff. The following day, Theresa was let go with no explanation and escorted out of the building which was uncalled for and embarrassing. The management style here is horrible. I once had to wait a half hour for an ice pack, because there were none in the building, and when another staff went to go find the manager, she was on her phone standing in line at the Dollar General next door talking. Not even with an ice pack in her hand. The manager should have listened to her staff and discuss ways to handle the situation the next time if she felt it wasn't appropriate. I have even come to find out that people have left her voicemails and letters and she hasn't returned one so how important are her patrons to her? I am going to end my membership as well as other family and friends who found out about what has occurred and find this inappropriate, appalling, and poor management style.
These trainers should be welcomed back with an apology. They are going to lose business there because many of the women who have gone to classes have done so because of these two trainers who give their all both in and out of the gym and make you feel like you are working hard and making progress... empowering you and making you feel like a better person.

I too witnessed the incident and the gym member was completely out of control. She was horribly abusive to both the trainer and the front desk clerk. She should have her membership revoked as she appeared to have serious anger management issues. She was throwing weight plates on the floor. I told the front desk she should have her membership suspended, and to please give the manager my name. No one contacted me, and the trainer was let go. The trainer acted appropriately at all times while having a verbal assault directed at her. Employees need to be protected as well as other members.
cancelling our gym memberships
When my husband and I joined Crunch, Vista, the person who enrolled us told us that there would be no penalty for canceling - you just need to give one month notice.
When we went to cancel today they told us we would need to pay the next month membership. Ok, that seems fair enough. Then they also told us that we would need to pay the annual membership fee (for next year). We joined last year on May 8th and we canceled May 3rd. So why do we need to pay for next year's annual fees? The fees were $49 each.
The lady at the counter basically to us that she would send our bill to collections if we did not pay it. We paid it, but will never step foot in a Crunch Gym ever again!
We would like our yearly membership fees for the year that we are NOT members refunded.

They advertise $14.95 a month with no contract and yet they charge $19.95 a month and refuse to cancel your monthly membership even when it's never been used. I told them that I had only used their gym once and was unable to return.
This is what they wrote back: I am sorry to hear that you will not be continuing your membership here at crunch fitness. I went in to cancel your account. I am not able to cancel at this time due to there being a outstanding balance balance of 21.15. If we bring that current I can get your account cancelled. If you have any questions please let me know

They want to charge me another month in which I did not use, I didn't even use the first month but once. This is what I responded with:
Well take me to collections, I am not paying it, I can sue for false advertisement of $14.95 a month which hasn't been true for quite some time. So we can either make a deal and call it even or I will pursue taking it to court since I know that you will let my bill go to court either through a collection agency or in court.

The staff at Crunch Fitness in Mississauga Ontario, Canada are unprofessional and unethical. They are following clients around in the change room and shouting at them on the weekends telling them to leave because they do not want to work 1 minute more then the closing time.
Particularly this short heavy built (chubby_ blonde guy with blonde beard) typically teamed up with another employee is doing this every weekend. This is very disturbing to watch that crunch employees are Bullying clients and customers and have and show no respect for them. Please investigate with this location as most customers are leaving this place due to self respect.
We trust this will be investigated and the resolution we look for is disciplinary action on the employee training.

Today there was naked man in the womens dressing room as i went to get my belongs.
Frightened by him, I immediately left and told mgmnt.
who said with shrugged shoulders "I know, theres nothing we can do."
So I walked away confused, shaken, feeling endangered and left with my concerns, complaints and fears completely dismissed.
Since mgmt didnt offer me help, my boyfriend escorted me to get my belongs where this man was STILL standing naked, blocking the mirrors, sinks and in full view. Blatent and odd behavior .
We got my things as quickly as possible and immediately left without a word or second glace.
Outside the locker room, two Mgrs and two employees swiftly approached and began verbally accosting us with a scene.
She began by yelling at us that my bf wasn't allowed in there and accused us of starting trouble. ?
In addition she said that it's a judgement free gym AS IF we somehow passed judgment of this naked who just terrified me.
She quickly followed up by telling us that she was going to immediately revoke our memberships. (Really, we haven't said or done anything!)
By now, I rebuked her and her unprofessional, and uncalled for actions.
Furthermore, my bf decided to record her nonsensical attack on me but as he did, another manager stepped in front of him, told him not to record and used his hands to push him back from recording.
Yes. I called the police and filed a complaint.

Turned out my wife did end up in the ER for a massive hernia and she had ER paperwork AND a doctors note but they refused to refund the unused session and said there was nothing they could do. On April 8th at 7:30pm, I went as usual to my local Crunch gym with my 15 year old son. (my membership 19.99 allow me to have a guest). It is normal that the clerk at the counter ask my son for his own membership which he always decline because he does not drive and for now he always come with me.
As approaching the entrance I notice Venecia Gamboa was speaking with a family, Sydney greeted us and asked my son to get his own membership, which we reply that he is only fifteen. Then, I proceed to enter my kid information on the guest list when Ms. Gamboa snatched the pen out of my hand and tells me that she has a family before me, I replied that she was still talking to them and I had a zumba class to attend, she said that I have to wait if I want my son to get in. Members started to starred at us and my son was clearly embarrassed by the situation, I asked her to let him use the restroom, she declined it. I decided to go inside for a minute to let the attention to go away. When I come back, she started to lectured me, I asked her for her name and Ms. Gamboa decline to provided, I asked Sydney she said they didn't have any paper, I asked to write it down in a register paper. Ms. Gamboa looked at me angry and said: " That's it, I will take care of your membership and escort you out, where is the security" then she ran out to look for the shopping center security, When she came back I told her "I am just asking you for your name, look what scene you are causing, looked how some people are recording you" she finally gave me her name and I moved on to my class, which it was already started and I was not able to enjoyed.
I am writing you today to request what Ms. Gamboa threatened me to do "take care of your membership", a refund of all my annual and monthly fees as it was a decision of one of your representatives to cancel my membership.

I joined crunch a couple of months ago & on march 19 signed up for personal trainer twice a week for a year. I was explained the price and thought you know what this will help get me on track to better health.
When the $113.00 started appearing each week on my visa, it really started adding up, so I called the waterdown location on april 11, and spoke with jon, he referred me to his manager matt fry & there is no movement on cancelling the personal training because im past the 10 days from date of purchase. he mentioned that if i found another crunch member I could transfer over to them... I'm so upset with this and due to the inability to budge what so ever, I'm also going to cancel my monthly membership. You don;t care about Health & people, this was something I wanted to try, I never have ever hired a trainer & took a leap, financially realizing this is a hard ship .

My personal trainer quit in October but worse than that, my credit card was being charged 135$ every 2 weeks. Crunch owes me in excess of 600$!
